And we agree to pay for one program for 100 green ones, but where to get them. The haymaking of greenery has long been completed and the fragrant, crunchy haystones stand in towers reminding us of the smell of the sun and summer. But there are services that, on a completely legal basis, distribute licensed programs for free. And this is called PromoActions - a manifestation of the advertising activity of companies, developers to promote their products to the masses. You can subscribe to the newsletter and find out which program will be free tomorrow. Aha! This one urgently needs to be taken and used. I'd rather recommend this one to an evil neighbor. Very convenient, however.

Let's take a look at a few Internet resources that are currently the most unique software distribution projects.

Here is a video on the Buzz99.com service created back in 2013:

At this point we will stop. The session is over.

Following a detailed description of the architecture of the future Intel 11th generation integrated graphics (Gen11), new information about its performance has appeared on the web. The well-known source of leaks with the alias Tum Apisak found the results of testing the next generation Intel integrated graphics in the Ashes of the Singularity game benchmark database.

To begin with, let us remind you that 11th generation Intel integrated graphics processors of the GT2 class, used in processors for the mainstream segment, will include up to 64 execution units (Executive units, EU). In comparison, the current Intel integrated GPUs of the GT2 class only have 24 EUs. Therefore, the performance gain of the 11th generation integrated graphics will be provided not only due to architectural changes, but also due to an increase in computing units.

Unfortunately, the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark does not elaborate on the characteristics of the processor that was tested, and only notes that it was a chip with four cores, eight threads and Intel Gen11 graphics. In Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels) with low graphics quality settings, the new Intel "build-in" was able to provide an average frequency of 15.1 FPS.

For comparison, the current integrated graphics Intel UHD Graphics 620 is capable of providing only 9.9 FPS under the same conditions, and the more advanced UHD Graphics 630 gains 11.9 FPS. It is much more interesting to compare the new product with the AMD "built-in". The Vega 10 GPU of the mobile Ryzen 7 2700U was slightly slower at 14.9 FPS, but the full integrated Vega 11 graphics in the desktop Ryzen 5 2400G are capable of delivering 29.3 FPS. Also note that discrete video cards NVIDIA GeForce MX130 and MX150 are capable of 22.6 and 25.6 FPS, respectively.

It turns out that in the mobile segment Intel has really reached parity with its competitor's integrated graphics. The difference between the Vega 10 and the tested Gen11 is only 1.34%. But Intel's new product lags behind the desktop Vega 11 by 94%, and almost 50% behind the discrete GeForce MX130.

Of course, in fairness, it should be noted that Intel integrated graphics are still under development, and only an engineering sample of a processor with new graphics was tested here. In addition, the drivers have clearly not yet received the necessary optimizations and improvements. And of course, you can't judge performance by a single test. But the fact that Gen11 is already well ahead of Intel's current integrated graphics is encouraging.

According to rumors, in May, SpaceX will begin to launch the first Starlink satellites of the new constellation for the planetary satellite Internet into low-earth orbit. In just a few years, 12,000 satellites will be launched for the Starlink network. Each of them will carry massive metal parts in the form of orbit correction engines and a rather large silicon carbide mirror antenna for high-speed laser communication between satellites to reduce delays in data transmission over the satellite network.

The Starlink satellite is comparable in size to a Tesla Model 3. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) estimates that if it re-enters the atmosphere after the satellite's lifespan, it will shatter into 500,000 pieces, many of which will reach the Earth's surface and cause damage, including injury or death of a person. According to experts, for a satellite constellation of a similar scale, the chance of injury or death will be 45% every six years. Interestingly, the FCC's request to SpaceX came in late February about two weeks after SpaceX rival OneWeb filed its request to the FCC about the low probability of complete combustion of Starlink in the atmosphere.

In response to the FCC, SpaceX assured that the Starlink project is an ongoing development. SpaceX engineers have already tackled the issue of redesigning satellites to eliminate the "dense" metal parts. It is planned to replace the metal in the correction engines and the reactor. No silicon carbide mirrors have been reported to be phased out. And yet, SpaceX assures that the new Starlink design will reduce the likelihood of debris falling to the ground to zero. The new Starlink satellites will completely burn up in the atmosphere. As for the satellites already prepared for launch or partially manufactured, the 75 first Starlinks will carry elements that still have a lot of chances to reach the surface of our planet.

However, despite the promise of a zero probability of falling to the ground debris "new" Starlink, experts believe that, depending on specific conditions, even the modified design of the satellites does not guarantee its complete combustion in the atmosphere.

United Company Svyaznoy | Euroset reports that more and more Russians are choosing the trade-in program to exchange a used smartphone for a new one.

In particular, in January-February of this year, the number of customers who used the trade-in service jumped almost five times - by 386% - compared to the same period in 2018. At the same time, the total number of smartphones handed over has reached 35 thousand units.

At the beginning of 2019 in the salons of the Svyaznoy company | Euroset Russians most often purchased Apple iPhone XR, Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9 + under the trade-in program. The list of donated models tops the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6S, and iPhone 7.

« The Trade-in program has proven itself in the market and continues to gain popularity among our customers. We expect the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 + and SE released a few days ago to become the most requested models starting in March.", - notes Svyaznoy | Euroset.

By the way, at the end of last year, the retailer introduced a multi trade-in scheme, within which you can rent several gadgets at once at the expense of the cost of a new device.

It should also be noted that well-known manufacturers such as Samsung and Huawei have launched their own trade-in programs for mobile devices.

Dmitry Rogozin, general director of the state corporation Roscosmos, said that the creation of the first stage of the Vostochny cosmodrome is nearing completion.

The new Russian cosmodrome is located in the Far East in the Amur Region, near the town of Tsiolkovsky. Construction of the first launch complex began in 2012, and the first launch took place in April 2016.

According to Mr. Rogozin, the construction of the first stage of Vostochny should be completed soon. " There are problems there, but these problems are mostly of a paper nature. That is, the facilities are physically built, they just do not have the necessary documentation to take them into operation.", - quote the words of the head of Roscosmos TV channel" Russia-24 "and the network publication" RIA Novosti ".

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed Dmitry Rogozin to improve the efficiency of projects to develop spaceports.

The document on the website of the Russian Government says the following: “ To note the low efficiency of the implementation in 2018 of the federal target program "Development of cosmodromes for the period 2017-2025 to support the space activities of the Russian Federation." State Corporation Roscosmos (D.O.Rogozin) to take measures to unconditionally improve the efficiency of the implementation of this program in 2019 and report to the Government of the Russian Federation by March 30, 2019».

The Chinese company Xiaomi has published a teaser image indicating the imminent release of a new generation of thin and light Mi Notebook Air.

The main feature of the laptop will be light weight - only 1.07 kilograms. For comparison: the current Apple MacBook Air weighs in at 1.25 kilograms.

Unfortunately, it is not yet clear what display size the new Xiaomi will receive. But we can assume that it will be a panel with a diagonal of 11.6 or 13.3 inches.

At the moment, it is known that the hardware platform of the upcoming Mi Notebook Air laptop will be an Intel processor.

Network sources add that the design elements of the new product are likely to inherit from the previous generation Xiaomi laptops, as well as from the aforementioned MacBook Air.

We also note that Xiaomi presented the first laptop under its own brand at a special event in July 2016.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has released Apple's patent application for an interesting development in the field of computing devices.

The document is titled Wireless Charging System With Radio-Frequency Antennas. The application was filed back in September 2017, but it has only now been made public on the USPTO website.

Apple is proposing to integrate a special system for wireless power transmission to peripheral devices into desktop computers. We are talking primarily about the keyboard, mouse and touch control panel.

The energy field will form in a specific area on the desktop, where input devices are traditionally located. Thus, a wireless keyboard and mouse, in theory, will not need a wired connection at all to recharge the built-in rechargeable battery.

It is likely that in the future, such a system will be implemented in iMac desktops and, possibly, in Apple monitors. However, so far nothing has been reported about the timing of the commercial implementation of the proposed solution.

Perhaps one of the most extraordinary images of Jupiter taken from the planet's orbit was released by the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

The image shows numerous vortex formations in the atmosphere of the gas giant. In particular, the most recognizable feature of the largest planet in the solar system, the so-called Great Red Spot, is captured in all its splendor. This colossal storm is about 40 thousand kilometers long and 13 thousand kilometers wide.

Other vortices are also captured in the photograph: they have different colors and vary in scale. In addition, bizarre undulating formations can be seen.

The presented image was formed on the basis of three images transmitted to Earth from the board of the Juno interplanetary station, which is currently studying the gas giant.

Photographing was carried out on February 12 this year during the next rapprochement of "Juno" with Jupiter. During the survey, the station was located at a distance of 26,900 to 95,400 kilometers from the upper boundary of the gas giant's atmosphere.

"Juno" was launched in August 2011, and the device reached the goal of its mission on July 4, 2016. The station will explore the planet until at least July 2021.

The new Intel DCH driver for Windows 10 (25.20.100.6618) brought with it not only an updated Intel Graphics Command Center utility, but also revealed the names and configurations of the Intel Gen11 integrated graphics. The details were hidden in a small and unencrypted INF file included in the driver package.

Built-in Gen11 accelerators will be available in eleven variants, divided into three categories: high-performance Iris Plus graphics, standard Ultra HD and energy-efficient (LP - Low Power) version of UHD graphics for entry-level mobile processors.

The flagship solution is Intel Iris Plus Graphics 950. It contains 64 Execution Units, which corresponds to 512 Shading Units. This model will offer maximum frequencies and, apparently, will be equipped with an ultrafast eDRAM memory buffer, similar to previous generations.

Next come Iris Plus Graphics 940 and Iris Plus Graphics 930 with options for 64, 48 or 32 execution units. Previous leaks suggest that these accelerators in older configurations will be able to impose a fight on the AMD Radeon Vega 10 embedded graphics.

Intel UHD Graphics 920 and Intel UHD Graphics 910 are likely to be part of mainstream desktop and mobile processors with extended thermal expansion. They contain 32 EU versus 24 EU for the previous generation HD Graphics 620/630 adapters.

Low-power versions of Intel UHD Graphics will receive modifications for 48 and 32 EU. As shown by recent testing in Ashes of the Singularity, one of the Gen11 LP versions is quite capable of competing with the discrete GeForce MX130 adapter. Finally, there are a couple of special UHD Graphics accelerators with the name GT0 in the codename. Most likely, GT0 means no iGPU in the processor. So it's safe to assume that Intel will continue to offer F-series chips for the Ice Lake generation.
