Google, as always, strives to simplicity interface. The app will automatically format articles for your smartphone or tablet, saving images, videos and other media files. In the settings, you can change the font size. Thanks to the same caching capability, you can read your favorite sites and magazines in offline... For deferred reading, you can use "Bookmarks".
In the left tab are available sections"Topical" (news feed), "My subscriptions" (list of publications), "Bookmarks" (marked materials) and "Review" (selection of available editions for reading). Unfortunately, not all materials are displayed in full version because Google tries to give this preference only to the media on its lists. And even then not always. But the article can always be opened in a browser. You can scroll through the materials swipes left and right, which brings Google convenience Play Press with Flyne. The second one still seems more well-groomed in terms of design.
Fortunately, Google is capable of its spaces make up base of information sources. There are many categories in the application, from cars, business and gadgets to handicrafts, painting and cooking. I also don’t think everyone will like the news display with all the images. The company took care of reducing the load on the application, but did not enter an item to exclude photos from the feed. Sometimes it's much easier to turn them off and read, for example, just the headers. But what made me even more puzzling was what kind of news is placed in the feed. The app can ignore a ton of news from some sources and push other media to the top. Objectivity? No, you haven't.
In this sense, I am also skeptical about this newsstand, which, after selecting a number of sources, highlights in the tape only some of the ones I suggested. In addition, Google does not allow at least some operations with materials. First you need to go to the article itself and from there add to your "bookmarks" or share. The interface, which is very predictable, is monolithic.
