The best phone in the world. innos D6000 - the smartest smartphone with a powerful battery

Inexpensive smartphones are also the best. Very inexpensive. The renowned manufacturer set the price for this model, which is usually trying to grab the edge of the market for all sorts of "Hyscreens" and the like. One could suspect of helping Intel, which, perhaps, gave ASUS its mobile Atoms for half the price, but later a version of Zenfone with LTE support appeared - already on a Qualcomm chip. It turns out that they beat the market for their own.

The smartphone turned out to be powerful, fast, its camera shoots well in the dark, competing with the Nokia Lumia 930, and the software shell of the device is thought out in details and is not overloaded with "whistles" - for example, other manufacturers have already adopted the division of the notification area into two tabs.

6. Huawei Ascend Mate7

Huawei Ascend Mate7

Huawei is growing from the bottom up - from budget models to top-end ones. And finally, the Chinese managed to do something worthwhile. Mate7 is no longer a smartphone, but a whole phablet, that is, a plafond, that is, a "shovel". That is, it fits in a pocket, but it is already inconvenient to go up the stairs.

But on its 6-inch screen it is convenient to work with everything that used to be a tablet. Plus you can call on it. Plus, it catches perfectly, thanks to a pair of antennas at the ends of the case - at each moment of time, the one that is not covered by the hand is used. Plus, you can take it and not charge it in the evening, and it will still last another whole day. Finally, the main plus: a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. True, it only allows you to unlock the phone or some of the files in it, but you could assign different applications to launch on different fingers. The Chinese have not thought about it, there is still room for improvement.

5. Nokia Lumia 930

Windows Phone is a very unusual operating system. From the first second of acquaintance with it, you understand that it was done by very kind, sensitive people, filled with love for each user. The problem is that all these people do not know anything about each other and act in the first person singular. Each. As if the others did not exist. Bottom line: in the system, many things are not related to each other, and some functions are duplicated.

No, this is really top the best smartphones of 2014, and Nokia Lumia 930 rightfully takes the fifth place in it. Because you quickly and easily get used to all the illogicality of WP (then, by the way, you get used to it just as quickly), something turns in your head - and you find yourself on the same wavelength. And the best material embodiment of this system today is the Lumia 930. Everything is perfectly combined in it: good, modern hardware, excellent - one of the best smartphones in the world - a camera, a bright thin body and a set of proprietary software.

4. Sony Xperia Z3 Compact

Sony Xperia Z3 Compact

Perhaps Sony was not the first to notice that modern flagship smartphones were too swollen, but it was the first to take the necessary measures and made a top-end device with a small screen (the target audience would say “normal screen”). The idea went, and in the fall the second generation of "Compact" appeared - Xperia Z3 Compact. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with a frequency of 2.5 GHz, has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of flash, is familiar with the latest versions of communication standards (Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC), is waterproof, but that's all charm - fits in the hand. In addition, the Z3 Compact gets a damn attractive design and some bright color options (my choice is orange).

3. iPhone 6

Only third place. Although the iPhone has changed the number in the name, the changes are reduced to only light "tuning", badly needed to belatedly fit the device into the trend of gigantism. The screen has become larger, but Apple, as always, managed to correctly apply magic (in the world of materialists called design skills) and make it so that the smartphone is in the hand no worse than the previous model. Added to this is a higher screen resolution, a more powerful processor, rounded body shapes and support for Apple Pay. The revolution took place eight years ago, and since then, every new iPhone has become one of the best smartphones in the world.

2. YotaPhone 2

For some reason, everyone prefers to discuss not the YotaPhone 2 itself, but how Russian it is. This, of course, is facilitated by the PR-service Yota Devices, which has gone crazy, persisting with the stubbornness of Jehovah's Witnesses to persuade everyone to talk about God in the Russian roots of development.

But I love the smartphone itself, whoever made it. Let's face it, this is the first YotaPhone, and what they showed us and even tried to sell for real money a year ago was an engineering model, a prototype. Now the product is fine-tuned and entered the release stage. Its creators solved one very difficult task: to come up with a second screen for a smartphone. Without relying on the community of third-party developers, Yota Devices has created a bunch of features that do not look far-fetched and give the second screen at least some value. You can read from it. On it you can display photos or snapshots of the main screen, and the picture will be saved even after the device is turned off. It can be temporarily made the main screen. It can be used in Yota Energy economical mode (turns a smartphone and a simple phone) when the battery charge is close to zero. After all, widgets can be displayed on it.

Modern people cannot imagine their life without smartphones, on which all important information is stored, from the phone number of children and wife to the schedule of the working day. Large companies have arranged a real race among themselves, which of them will create the most beautiful, fastest, most technologically advanced smartphone in the world. Only a couple of dozen devices appear annually, which have been talked about for months and attract the attention of millions of people around the world. Meet the ten best smartphones in the world 2014.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 smartphone boasts some rather unusual body colors. Buyers have the option of the device both in classic black or white colors, and in frivolous red and green colors. There is a quad-core processor clocked at 2.20 gigahertz, a 20-megapixel autofocus camera, by the way one of the best in our rating, and 32 gigabytes of internal memory.

9. LG G2

On the ninth place of the best smartphones, we climbed the LG G2 with a 5.2-inch screen. The device boasts a modern productive filling, and an excellent screen with excellent viewing angles and good color rendering. The only thing that let the camera down a bit is better than that of the Samsung Galaxy 4, but it loses quite seriously to the iPhone. Stylish slim body of the smartphone will not leave anyone indifferent.

In eighth place we got the little-known dark horse OnePlus One from China. The key to the success of the smartphone has become a very productive filling, a user-friendly interface and a very attractive price. The heart of OnePlus One is the Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz (believe me, this is the best you can find on the market today), and the 5.5-inch 1080p IPS screen produces a very bright detailed picture with natural flowers. The CyanogenMod 11S operating system is installed out of the box on the smartphone, this is a nice-looking modified version of Android.

Quality, reliability and stability are the motto of the Google Nexus 5 smartphone. The Android device comes with a 2.26 GHz quad-core processor and an excellent 4.95-inch screen. Among the weaknesses of the smartphone are a very mediocre camera, battery and body design, which loses to the older brother Nexus 4.

In sixth place among the best smartphones in the world, we climbed the giant Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which, despite the 5.7-inch AMOLED display, boasts a rather compact body measuring 151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3 mm, looks very slender compared to competitors. The smartphone received a quad-core processor, clocked at 2.3 GHz, a 13-megapixel camera. As a bonus, the smartphone comes with a Direct Pen Input stylus. Of course, the Galaxy Note 3's screen responds perfectly to both finger pressure and the stylus.

The LG G Flex is the world's first 6-inch curved and flexible smartphone, ranking fourth in our ranking. The smartphone received a quad-core processor, clocked at 2.26 gigahertz, and a 13-megapixel camera. If you are looking for a truly extraordinary advanced smartphone that is unlike any other mobile phone, then the LG G Flex is the best choice.

Sony Xperia Z2 - the new flagship smartphone from Sony, has become the very embodiment of style and high technology. The heart of the device is a quad-core processor operating at 2.3 gigahertz, the main camera has a resolution of 20.7 megapixels. The 5.2-inch display supports proprietary X-Reality and TRILUMINOS technologies, which make the picture clearer and more saturated. One of the main features of the Sony Xperia Z2 has become a dust and moisture resistant case, thanks to which the smartphone can stay under water for up to 30 minutes.

The third in the ranking of the best smartphones in the world is the most popular device in the world, Apple iPhone 5S. Its main feature is the well-thought-out iOS operating system, thanks to which it works very quickly even on a 1.7 GHz processor, which is almost two times less than that of competitors. The main 8-megapixel camera with "True Tone" flash that changes the color temperature of the backlight, despite its modest resolution, allows you to take very high-quality, incredibly realistic pictures.

2.Samsung Galaxy S5

Samsung is able to sell smartphones simply in huge quantities, creating hype around them in the press and giving out information about the new product drop by drop, constantly reminding about itself. The flagship of the Korean electronics giant 2014 Samsung Galaxy S5 is no exception. The smartphone boasts a 5.1-inch display made using SuperAMOLED technology, the fastest Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor operating at 2.5 gigahertz to date, two cameras, a 16-megapixel main one and a 2.1-megapixel front one.

The best smartphone of 2014 was the HTC One M8. The device boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, which runs at 2.5 gigahertz, 2 gigabytes of RAM, 16 gigabytes (32 gigabytes if you pay extra money) of memory, a dual 4-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Plus, the metal body of HTC One M8 gives a unique feeling of reliability and solidity when you take your smartphone in hand.

Now let's take a look at the parameters of the cameras in the tested devices and start.

Phone model Megapixels Angle (mm) Lens aperture Image stabilization
LG G2 13 30 F2.4 Optical
Nokia Lumia 1020 5/38 26 F2.2 Optical
Nokia Lumia 1520 20 26 F2.4 Optical
FujiFilm X20 camera 12 28 F2.0 Optical
Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 16 23 F2.8 Optical
Samsung Galaxy S5 16 31 F2.2 Digital
HTC One (M8) 4 28 F2.0 Optical
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 13 34 F2.2 Digital
Sony Xperia Z2 8/20 28 F2.0 Digital
Apple iPhone 5S 8 34 F2.2 Digital

Shooting conditions

Almost all photos were taken on smartphones in automatic mode (touch focus was not used, but on the Sony Xperia Z2 they set "Intelligent mode" and manual, photos were taken on the Nokia 1020 in 5 MP and 38 MP modes), with automatic white balance, standard settings sharpness, color reproduction and in maximum quality. Where it was possible to enable optical or electronic stabilization in the settings, we turned it on. Each frame was filmed with phone cameras from one position with a minimum time interval (about 5 seconds). We didn't try to get the perfect photo (using a tripod, for example) as the average person probably won't bother that much with a mobile camera. The standard photography scheme is to take out a gadget, fire up the camera and shoot.

Everything that will be described is a purely subjective point of view, based not on the results of your vote, but on your own experience.

Weak indoor lighting

The shot was taken in the staircase of GUM. In this place, mixed lighting is not very good (above - fluorescent lamps, on the left - sunlight).

It seems to me that the Samsung Note 3 did a little better than the others. Although, in fact, it is extremely difficult to judge, since almost all cameras made approximately the same frame. On the Note 3, the picture is brighter, the detail is good, and the white balance is close to ideal. The second place would be given to Nokia Lumia 1520, but its picture is a little green. Third place - Sony Xperia Z2 in Auto mode. It is not easy to comment on the rest of the photos. The only thing that stands out is the Nokia Lumia 1020 with the darkest frame.

In principle, a good photo at number 8, which hides the Nokia 1020 with a 5MP snapshot.

Shooting indoors in good light

The shot was shot in good natural light inside the GUM building. In this case, it is the detail that should be considered, since the emphasis was placed on the plate in the frame.

First place - Nokia Lumia 1020. No wonder, because it has the highest resolution. The second place - number 9 - is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Along with it - the Samsung Galaxy S5. The third place, in my opinion, is occupied by the Sony Xperia Z2 with a 20 MP frame.

Again, it is difficult to comment on the rest of the shots: some are a little better, some are a little worse.

Shooting close-ups in good lighting

In fact, I do not like testing cameras in macro mode, since the shift of the photographer relative to the subject gives a different picture on different devices.

Samsung Galaxy S5 coped with this mode best of all: high details, correct white balance, good contrast and color reproduction. I think that the first place should be shared with the Sony Xperia Z2 with an 8 MP image in automatic mode. Nokia Lumia 1020 can be added to them, as its picture is the largest. Second place - Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The worst shots - 3, 4, 7 - are Nokia 1520, FujiFilm X20 and HTC One.

Shooting in sunlight

The most favorable conditions for filming: the sun in the back, blue sky, contrasting object.

I liked the shot numbered 8 - Nokia 1020. Here is a frame with a low resolution (5 MP), but with high details and correct white balance. Second place - Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Of course, you could have added the Galaxy S5 here, but its picture seemed more "noisy". Third - Sony Xperia Z2 in auto mode. Note that the Sony Xperia Z2 manually captured the worst shot, much like the HTC One M8.

Shooting against the sun

It seems to me that shooting against the sun is difficult not only for smartphone cameras, but also for ordinary cameras. Much depends on the lens. The sun is from above.

I think there are two outsiders in this test: surprisingly, the FujiFilm X20 camera and the HTC One M8 smartphone. The shots are dark, the details are extremely poorly worked out. The rest of the devices showed approximately the same result. The most "creepy" BB is in Nokia Lumia 1520, the most correct one is Nokia Lumia 1020, Galaxy Note 3.

Shooting scenery in sunlight

This test shows the capabilities of the cameras in terms of detail. The sun is behind.

In theory, Nokia Lumia 1020 should come first here. Alas, this is not the case. The fact is that this device sometimes shoots very well with high details, and at times the picture is slightly blurred. On what it depends, I was not able to find out. In any case, know that the 1020 photographs as detailed as possible.

Since you have to evaluate on specific shots, the first place is, in my opinion, Samsung Note 3: a clean and contrasting shot with the correct WB. The Samsung Galaxy S5 camera is a little flawed: more artifacts, less detail. Therefore - the second place. Third - 10 and 1 - Sony Xperia Z2 in manual mode and LG G2. The worst are Nokia Lumia 1020 (just because the resolution is 5MP) and Samsung Galaxy Camera 2.

Shooting a portrait in low light

We apologize for not being able to find a person for the portrait, so we have a plastic gentleman wearing a black hat.

I liked the photo numbered 8. This is a Nokia Lumia 1020 in 5MP resolution. Many would argue that the white balance is wrong here. In fact, the face of the mannequin is not yellow, but close to the color of the person's face. There was a purple light on the right, so the nose and shirt were colored correctly in that color.

FujiFilm X20 and Sony Xperia Z2 photographed very well in auto mode. Much the same - Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2 in manual mode.

Shooting in minimum light

The hardest testing for mobile cameras.

The best picture, I think, was taken by Nokia Lumia 1020 (ISO 800) in both 38 MP and 5 MP: high details, minimum artifacts or noise. Oddly enough, but the second place is occupied by the HTC One M8 (exposure 1/12, ISO 640). It has a little less detail, but a slightly brighter shot.

Worst shots - Sony Xperia Z2 (1/25, ISO 1000) in manual mode, Samsung Galaxy S5. It is worth noting that the Galaxy S5 takes pictures in auto mode, and in this case, the "Night" mode was set. In terms of time, S5 shoots the longest - about 4 seconds with processing! The rest of the devices were removed in about the same way.

Shooting text under artificial lighting

The subject of shooting is a newspaper. Above, there are 4 fluorescent lamps with a warm hue.

Ideal white balance for Nokia Lumia 1020 and Apple iPhone 5. The wrong one is for FujiFilm X20.

If we talk about detail, then in the Sony Xperia Z2 photo in manual mode, you can see the texture of the print pattern of the photo (at the bottom right - small circles). However, the edges of the frame are slightly blurry, possibly due to the F2.0 aperture. The texture can also be seen on the Nokia Lumia 1020 in a 5-megapixel photo. Weakly, but still the picture is noticeable on Nokia Lumia 1520. HTC One M8 shoots worst of all.

Conclusion

Once again, I would like to repeat that I carried out the photos and testing, so, naturally, the test results are purely subjective.

If we are talking about a smartphone with the highest possible settings and post-processing, then Nokia Lumia 1020 takes the first place. data obtained from the photomatrix). Of course, few people will deal with processing and reformatting from DNG to the usual JPEG, nevertheless, such a thing exists. In addition, no one bothers you to shoot in 5 + 38 MP mode in JPEG.

Another 1020 boasts fully manual settings: shutter speed, ISO, exposure, white balance and even focus. As a bonus, there is a xenon flash and an LED that helps focus in low light.

Do not forget that Lumia has a dedicated camera button, and if you buy a special case, you will not only get the protection of the device, but also a comfortable grip of the smartphone for shooting, a tripod thread, and a built-in battery (1020 mAh).

Of course, the Nokia 1020 also has significant drawbacks:

  • The shooting speed (launching the camera, focusing, processing) is the lowest of all existing smartphones on the Russian market
  • Large dimensions of the device
  • Small screen and low matrix resolution
  • IMHO, but still the Windows Phone operating system remains for me. Although with 8.1 it is already quite possible to live.

I would put several mobile gadgets in second place at once: Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2.

Samsung still has the best quality: minimum artifacts, minimum noise, good detail, fast and accurate focus. By a narrow margin - Samsung Galaxy S5. At the moment, the device has several problems. I really hope they are firmware related. The essence of the problems is as follows: the S5 images have a lot of digital noise, artifacts, autofocus works poorly at close distances, and in low light it may not focus at all. However, as we were promised, colors are not distorted in the dark.

The Sony Xperia Z2 smartphone is still incomprehensible to me in terms of taking photos: some photos come out better in auto mode, others in manual mode, landscape shots are often blurry. The wide angle and decent detail in the center of the frame are good news.

The device Nokia Lumia 1520 takes pictures with dignity, but with the white balance it just has trouble. In addition, it is the largest among all test gadgets.

The iPhone 5S is one hundred percent average, although I put it in the penultimate place. Last year it was about the same result. The device does not have enough stars from the sky, but it also does not hit, roughly speaking, in the dirt with its face.

The LG G2 smartphone shoots well, at least it fights noise very well, "draws" a nice picture.

The last place is taken by the HTC One M8 camera. His shots look great only on the screen. Positives: decent shooting at night, fast camera start-up speed, shooting speed.

Total:

  1. Nokia Lumia 1020
  2. Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2
  3. Nokia Lumia 1520
  4. LG G2
  5. Apple iPhone 5

Naturally, not everyone can buy a flagship for about $ 800, such as the iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy S5. However, fortunately, the developers are not limited to the production of only expensive models and today you can buy a decent smartphone at a low price. It is clear that it will be deprived of the latest innovations and best features, such as a Full HD display and a 13-megapixel camera, but it will definitely be able to “pull” games with average graphics and perform various tasks. Compared to last year, prices for budget smartphones have dropped significantly. Today, a smartphone with last year's characteristics in the middle price segment can be purchased at a budget price.

Asus ZenFone 5 is the most affordable HD smartphone

The first one to consider will be an excellent inexpensive smartphone from Asus. The ZenFone series, which has made a splash among low to mid-range smartphones, boasts quite worthwhile units. However, this particular smartphone is the most optimal of this line. Its body is made of plastic, however, thanks to the original solution in the lower part of the front panel, the phone stands out among other budget models of the same type and does not look cheap at all.

ZenFone 5 is a great budget smartphone that has a 5-inch HD display, dual SIM cards, a memory card slot, a dual-core processor from Intel, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and a very nice design. Thanks to the beveled corners and thinner edges of the case, the device fits very well in the hand. The smartphone has a rather low price, possessing the same characteristics as the devices of competing companies such as Lenovo, Huawei, Fly and others.

The screen of a smartphone with a 5-inch IPS-matrix has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and is covered with Gorilla Glass 3, and the pixel density is 294 ppi, so it will be difficult to see the pixels. The stock of brightness is large, there is an oleophobic and anti-reflective coating, so you can easily clean the display from streaks and dirt. This model is equipped with an 8-megapixel main camera with autofocus and ASUS PixelMaster technology, which takes excellent pictures, comparable to the top models. There is also a 2MP front-facing camera with acceptable quality. The 2110 mAh battery is enough for one day of active use.

Price: 150$.

Conclusion: For a relatively low price, you get a great smartphone that is well worth the money.

LG L60 is an amazing budget phone

The LG L60 is a smartphone that fully justifies its money. For a very low price, the buyer gets a full-fledged dual-SIM phone with many functions.

The appearance of the smartphone does not really stand out from other budget models: a stylish and plump phone with a thickness of 11.8 mm. However, due to its characteristics, the device deserves special attention.

The L60 is powered by a 2-core processor from MediaTek. Its frequency is 1.3 GHz. The internal memory is 8 GB expandable with a memory card, and the RAM is 512 MB, which is a bit disappointing, but don't forget what class of smartphone we are dealing with. The display diagonal of this model is 4.3 inches with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, which will be quite enough for surfing the web and watching videos. Also a feature is the pre-installed version of Android 4.4 KitKat, which is extremely rare in budget devices.

The smartphone is equipped with two cameras. The main 5-megapixel camera takes good pictures in sufficient light. There is also a front 0.3 megapixel camera. The battery capacity is 1640 mAh, and thanks to these characteristics of the device, the charge will last for 3 days of moderate use.

Price: 75$.

Conclusion: The Lg L60 is a great budget smartphone with a front camera and dual SIM that deserves the attention of anyone looking to buy a budget smartphone.

Motorola Moto G is an ambitious budget employee

Today, powerful low-cost smartphones occupy the market more and more. The Moto G is the most balanced phone in terms of value for money. The entire phone is made of plastic, but the back has a very pleasant soft-touch coating, which, unfortunately, will leave fingerprints and dirt. It is also prone to scratches.

Display Moto G has a 4.5-inch diagonal with a resolution of 1280 by 720, which gives 235 ppi. You will hardly be able to see the pixels. The IPS matrix gives the screen even better quality with very bright colors and excellent viewing angles. In addition, the display is covered by Gorilla Glass 3, which prevents scuffs. Cameras of this model will not be able to please. Moto G has two: the main one - 5 Mp and the front one - 1.3 Mp. Both are without autofocus and their quality is poor.

Probably the main disadvantage of this device is that there is no Micro-SD card slot. However, the manufacturer offers two versions of this model: 8 and 16 gigabytes. The Snapdragon 400 processor, which has four 1.2 GHz cores, an Adreno 305 GPU and 1 GB of RAM, provides a very "nimble" interface, as well as sufficient performance for games. This model comes close to mid-range smartphones according to synthetic tests.

An autonomous 2070 mAh battery provides about a day of active work with the device without recharging, and about two days with moderate use.

Price:$ 150 - 8 GB, $ 170 - 16 GB.
