A parent scientific and practical conference is a form of work that provides, in addition to the presentation of the theoretical foundations of the issue under consideration, the exchange of views and experience of representatives of all participants: parents, teachers and heads of educational institutions. The conference allows you to discuss and resolve the designated range of issues.

At the beginning of the 21st century, Russian society has undergone dramatic changes. This is the accelerated pace of life, and the lack of moral and ethical principles in the relationship of adults, and the low socio-psychological culture of communication. The destruction of the established norms and traditions of the family structure is observed. But it is in the family that the value components of the future personality are laid and the parents act as carriers of value attitudes towards the world.

Holding conferences at the institute in correspondence and full-time forms has long become a tradition. But these are conferences for teachers of educational institutions. In the 2012-13 academic year, for the first time, a parent conference "Parental education as the basis for the spiritual and moral education of a child" was held. The initiator of the event was G.F. Chetina, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy, Acting Deputy Director for Educational Work, MAOU "Verkh-Invenskaya Secondary School" of the Kudymkarsky Municipal District. Galina Filippovna went through the school of E.V. Bacheva, rector of NOUDO "Academy of Parental Education", on the lessons of family love and actively implements this knowledge in practice in his school.

On March 16, 2013, parents of children from schools in the city of Kudymkar and all six districts of the Komi-Permyak district gathered in the building of the IUU.

At the plenary session, words were sounded about the importance of family and parental education, about spirituality and morality as values ​​of society, the need for their revival. Family groups of the Kudymkarsky municipal district musically decorated the beginning of the conference. Further work continued in five sections. The discussion proceeded along narrower lines in circles of 8 to 20 people.

The section "Organization of interaction and business partnership between schools and families" was the most numerous, since the issue is relevant and aroused the interest of both parents and school representatives. A partnership is an alliance of family and educational institution, a mutually enriching symbiosis of parents and educational institution, the destruction of which impoverishes and / or ruins both parties. Most of the problems concerning the child can and should be solved only through the parents, who, in turn, must realize that they are full partners of the educational institution in the development and implementation of specific educational goals. The parents of the Gain District, where the District Parents' Council was established, were of particular practical interest. The most significant were the speeches: "Experience in the interaction of family and school" (MAOU "V-Invenskaya secondary school") and "Joint activities of parents of the 6th grade and the school for raising children" (MOBU "Gymnasium No. 3").

Combining the efforts of the school, kindergarten and parents is a prerequisite for the successful solution of the increasingly complex educational problems. Only together with parents can we effectively solve such problems as motivation for learning and attending a preschool institution, the formation of a value attitude to health. At the section "Healthy lifestyle - the lifestyle of every family", the participants saw a system of work on health preservation with children from preschool age to high school students, as well as with foster children. The section participants were offered complexes of physical exercises used by parents with children at home.

Section “Relationships in the family. Relationship therapy ”took place in the form of training. We used exercises from the book V. Satir "How to build yourself and your family." Reflecting after exercise, parents talked about awareness of children's behavior and how to regulate it. . It is in the family that the socio-cultural space is laid, where the continuity of generations, socialization and cultural development of children is carried out, which includes the transfer of family values ​​and stereotypes of behavior. At the master class, the exercise "Blessing" aroused interest.

When they talk about raising children, it is customary to talk about love, but it should be a special love, involving constant inner work. At the section “Family Traditions. Lessons in family love ”a master class was held on realizing love for oneself - for a woman. Parents and teachers shared their experience, who noted the importance of their own example, sincerity in relations with their and adopted children, and the need to preserve family traditions.

To the section “Family Reading. The tale is a lie, but there is a hint in it ... "was invited by N.N. Anfalova, deputy. director for work with children from the "Komi-Permyak library named after A.N. Zubov ". Fairy tales are leaving us. They are being replaced by computer games, the Internet, cartoon series with the same Japanese-Disney characters and faces, mobile phones, breathtaking rides in parks, fantastic toys, and more. The section focused on the importance of reading at home. Nina Nikolaevna told about the work of the library with families, introduced them to the most reading ones. She invited to the conference to work in the section of the Deryabin and Votintsev families, who showed family performances of poems and fairy tales. An important point in upbringing is to evoke an emotional response in the child. An element of improvisation and humor is also important in the parental method of upbringing and education. At the section, attention was paid to both Permian Komi fairy tales and the study of the native language, which is also a factor in the formation of ethnic identity, the assimilation of cultural norms and values, verbal and non-verbal behavior.

The conference was attended by about 100 people - these are the parents of more than 150 relatives and 22 adopted children. The conference was held in an atmosphere of interest from the parties. When summarizing the results, all participants noted the good organization and content of the event. The recommendations were approved, a proposal was made to include more master classes in it and to make the parent conference traditional at the institute.

At the first district parenting conference, like-minded people gathered, the circle of which is growing and expanding. I would like to believe that thanks to the interest of teachers, psychologists and librarians, parents learn to love each other and their children, to respect themselves and others. The family is the first social stage in a person's life. From early childhood she directs the consciousness, will, feelings of the child. Under the guidance of parents, children acquire their first life experience, skills and abilities of life in society. A.S. Makarenko stressed: “Education is a social process in the broadest sense. It brings up everything: people, things, phenomena, but above all and most of all - people. Of these, parents and teachers are in the first place ”. But the school can neither replace nor fully compensate for what the forming personality receives from the parents.

The parent conference promotes parental education, solves the problem of forming parents' interest and needs in improving the culture of pedagogical work, parental competence in mastering psychological and pedagogical knowledge in the field of child upbringing and development, demonstrating examples of successful upbringing, disseminating positive experience in family life.

In accordance with the new law "On Education in the Russian Federation", one of the main tasks facing the preschool institution is "Interaction with the family to ensure the full development of the child's personality." The Law stipulates that in solving complex, multifaceted tasks associated with the implementation of the Federal State Educational Standard of preschool education, an exclusive role belongs to the family. Relevance

At the present stage of development of society, a tendency has been revealed towards a deterioration in the state of health of children in different regions of the Russian Federation, therefore there is no need to convince anyone of the urgency of the problem of children's health. In this regard, the primary task in the preschool educational institution remains the protection and strengthening of the health of children, the formation of a habit of a healthy lifestyle. Recognition of the priority of family education provides for the development of new forms of interaction between parents and teachers in the process of health improvement and education of preschoolers. Traditional forms of interaction between the pedagogical staff of a preschool institution and the family are combined with variable innovative technologies for organizing the interaction of preschool teachers with the parents of pupils.

One of the modern forms of interaction with parents is a conference. The value of this type of work is that all participants in the pedagogical process take an active part in it: parents, teachers, specialists. The main goal of the conferences is to educate parents with their involvement in the educational process at preschool educational institutions.     The GOU "Lyceum No. 395" in St. Petersburg is actively working on organizing events aimed at strengthening the connection between family and school.

    It is known that “problem”, “difficult”, “disobedient” and “impossible” children, as well as children “with complexes”, “downtrodden” or “unhappy” are always the result of improper family relationships. The world practice of psychological assistance to children and their parents has shown that even very difficult problems of upbringing are completely solvable if it is possible to restore a favorable style of communication in the family.

    In addition, there is a very important pattern found by practical psychologists. It turns out that the majority of parents who seek psychological help for difficult children themselves in childhood suffered from conflicts with their own parents. The style of parental interaction is involuntarily "recorded" in the child's psyche. As an adult, a person reproduces it as natural. Thus, from generation to generation, social inheritance of the style of communication occurs - the majority of parents bring up their children the way they were brought up.

    “Nobody bothered with me, and nothing, grew up,” says dad, not noticing that he grew up as a person who does not consider it necessary and does not know how to deal with his son, to establish warm, friendly relations with him.

    Based on this, we set the following goals for working with parents:

    • Strengthening the connection between the family and the school (involving parents in school to correlate the priorities of raising children, looking for joint solutions to overcome possible difficulties).
    • Creating a successful situation for a child at school with the direct attention of a parent.
    • Prevention of delinquency among children and adolescents.

    As part of this area, we carry out:

    • themed active parenting sessions
    • (with the recommendations of a psychologist and social educator, messages on the psychological characteristics of age, etc.);
    • parent survey
    • to assess the degree of success of the child's adaptation period to school, the characteristics of behavior at home and the response to changes in load (when moving from primary school to secondary school); a questionnaire to find out the opinions of parents about the quality of the school's work, the level of education and satisfaction with the programs; as well as to clarify their wishes for the administration, ped. the team and the organization of the educational process as a whole;
    • holding the traditional game “Road to 5th grade”,
    • which includes specially designed games and contests aimed at active interaction “teacher-child-parent”;
    • holding a sports game "Dad, Mom and I are a Sports Family"
    • , whose goals were not only to strengthen ties between family and school, but also to actively promote a healthy lifestyle;
    • initiation into "Pupils" of first graders
    • , during which solemn promises of a student, parent, teacher are accepted. At the end of the adaptation of first-graders to school, this serves to strengthen the status of the student, activates the active position of the parent, unites parents and teachers in the upbringing, teaching and development of students;
    • parent conferences.

    Objectives of the conferences:

    • Educational work among parents on the education of schoolchildren;
    • Awareness of the need for parents to constantly work on themselves in the process of upbringing and development of the child's personality;
    • Strengthening parent-child-school ties.

    The experience of carrying out this form of work with parents began in our lyceum in 1999 in cooperation with the candidate of psychological sciences, doctoral student of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after V.I. Herzen LN Berezhnova and gymnasium number 89. Then it was devoted to the topic "Family as a factor in the educational environment."

    Preparation for the conference included a collection of parental assets of two parallels and a discussion in microgroups of the proposed situations, highlighting specific questions to which the parents were asked to answer (the forms are presented in Appendix 1). Then, similar work was carried out at classroom meetings, but members of the parental activist were already leading the discussions.

    Thus, each class in parallel, having discussed everything, made a certain decision, with which he went to the conference. The situations presented to the parents served as an illustration of the parent-child-teacher relationship. Parents resolved it from their own position (what is the parent's mistake and how he should act in it). After the parent conference, a pedagogical council was held, where teachers in microgroups solved the same situations from the teacher's position (what is his possible mistake and what is the best way to do it). Both parents and teachers liked this form of work very much; many positive responses were expressed.

    Continuing an interesting experience, on April 13, 2002, the following was carried out conference "Encouragement and Punishment as Methods of Educational Impact" (on the parallel of 5-6 grades).

    Tasks:

    • Familiarization with the rights and responsibilities of parents in the upbringing and education of children (based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Law "On Education").
    • Familiarization with the age characteristics of adolescents and their perception of rewards and punishments.
    • Mastering new methods of developing self-government in children and younger adolescents.

    The issue of the school newspaper "Together" was prepared for the conference, which contains a lot of useful and interesting information on the topic. In preparation for the conference, work was carried out with parental assets of the classes, where parents were offered various life situations that they may have or have already encountered in raising children in order to make the most acceptable decision, to be able to listen to as many points of view as possible. , consult with each other, discuss. Situations were presented for parents of 5th grade, for parents of 6th grade, one general problematic question.

    The work was carried out in microcollectives on the submitted forms according to a certain scheme. Appendix 2 presents the answer sheets, situations and generalized conclusions that the parents made while working in micro-groups. Then similar work was done in classroom meetings. But it was not the psychologist and the social educator who were leading the discussion, but the members of the parental activists.

    In preparation for the conference, work was carried out with students in grades 5-6. During the lessons of social practice, the topic “My family” was discussed for several weeks, where such issues as the history of the family, the creation of a genealogical tree and the coat of arms of their family, the contribution of each family member to its spiritual and material well-being were studied. For 6th grade students, they were asked to complete the following sentence by expressing their opinion (signature was optional):

    How would you like to see your parents?

    It is noteworthy and pleasant that in most of the answers, after listing any positive points, the idea sounds that now the parents are just like that and they are satisfied with their relationship with them. All children's works were designed and presented at the conference on large posters.

    Parents - members of the assets spoke at the conference, expressing the general opinion of parents on the discussed situations. To speak with the report "Encouragement and Punishment" was invited teacher of the Department of Psychology of the University of Pedagogical Skills Tamara Grigorievna Kleshunova, who spoke to the parents. School psychologist A.G. Yasnova also spoke about the age characteristics of adolescents and their possible reactions in behavior. The floor was also presented to the social educator L. I. Dmitrenko, who promoted educational health-improving games that help a child who has problems in learning, communication with the outside world. The speech was called “How to help a child”, it was based on the materials of the special course of the department of social. pedagogy UPM under the leadership of A.S. Valyavsky. In conclusion, students in grades 5-6 performed in front of their parents with performances of amateur performances.

    When summarizing the results of the conference, the parents expressed their opinion and noted that such work with them is important and necessary, since many are “stewing in their own juice” and do not have the opportunity to discuss the emerging problems in such detail. The parents also proposed the topic of the next conference: "Education of volitional qualities in children and adolescents" - which we planned to hold in 2003.

    Tasks:

    • Parents' mastery of some practical methods of communication with the child.
    • Acquaintance with the main stages of the formation of volitional qualities in schoolchildren.
    • To prevent possible mistakes of parents in the process of upbringing on the eve of adolescence.

    In order to educate volitional qualities and form independence in a child, it is necessary to create certain conditions in direct communication with him.

    In preparation for the conference, the psychologist and social educator held active parent-teacher meetings at the parallel of 3 grades. This time, not only parental committees, as in previous years, but all parents took part in the discussion.

    The speech at the meeting was based on the book "Communicate with a child. How?" By Yu.B. Gippenreiter. M .: "CheRo" with the participation of the Creative Center "Sphere".

    For a better perception of information in each microgroup of parents, a Brief summary of the speech was presented on the table. After each condition that we identified in our speech, the parents were asked to complete a small practical task. So, after discussing the meaning of manifestations of unconditional acceptance of the child, each parent was asked to recall yesterday or any other day and calculate how many in the whole day they turned to their child with emotionally positive statements and how many - with negative ones. After the execution, it was reported that if the number of negative references is equal to or outweighs the number of positive ones, then with the manifestation of unconditional acceptance in communication, they are not so happy.

    After discussing the issue of the formation of independence skills in children, each parent was asked to do the following: “Take a sheet of paper, divide it in half with a vertical line. Write “Himself” above the left side, “Together” above the right side. List in them those things that your child solves and does on his own, and those in which you usually participate. Then see what you can move from the Together column now or in the near future to the Self column. Remember, each such move is an important step towards growing up your child. Be sure to celebrate this success.

    The acquisition of active listening skills took place in the form of a group discussion. After reviewing the example, each group filled out their own situation forms, formulating the parent's response according to the rules of active listening. We had 3 groups in each class, in Appendix No. 3 1 of 3 forms is presented (they are based on the book).

    After discussing the topic of “I-messages”, an assignment followed on the same form: “Select from the parents' answers the one that most of all corresponds to the“ I-message ”(see Appendix No. 3).

    After the completion of the work, the parents expressed their impressions, and, for the most part, such communication techniques interested them. The general decision was made to try them.

    A month later, a questionnaire was conducted among parents in order to identify the parents' opinion on the success in using the proposed forms of communication. The results were analyzed by a psychologist, and their discussion took place at the next stage of preparation for the conference - a meeting with parental class assets. After an exchange of views on the personal impressions of each and an acquaintance with the results of the survey, speeches from each parental asset were scheduled.

    In discussing the topic of upbringing volitional qualities, it seemed interesting to us to find out the opinion of the children themselves about what they mean by this expression. Third-graders were asked 4 questions, to which they answered based on their own opinion:

    1. What is willpower?
    2. Who is a model of a strong-willed person for you (an example from life or literature)?
    3. Do you think you can already be called a person who has willpower?
    4. Who can help you in developing your will?

    The guys' answers were very different, but all interesting, and sometimes funny. Some of them we published in the issue of the school newspaper "Together", which was devoted to the parent conference, and the other part was the design of a large poster, which was presented to all conference participants on April 5. Parents of grades 5-7 who were interested were also invited to participate in the conference; they were familiar with this form of work last year.

    The conference program included the following speeches:

    • A brief repetition of the basic conditions for successful communication, which were discussed at a meeting of 3 classes (psychologist A.G. Yasnova).
    • Parents' presentation on the results of the application of new methods of communication with children.
    • Speech by LI Dmitrenko, a social teacher of the Lyceum, “What prevents us from listening to a child,” about the main mistakes of parents in actively listening to a child.
    • Speech by the teacher-psychologist of the lyceum A.G. Yasnova "How to bring up the will in adolescents" on the basic rules of the formation of strong-willed habits and purposefulness.
    • Speech by the teacher of the Department of Psychology of the UPM Kleshunova Tamara Grigorievna "The main difficulties in the education of the will and how to avoid them" (the main stages of the education of the will in children and adolescents).

    When summarizing the results of the conference, the parents expressed their opinions and once again confirmed the importance of such work for them, and also proposed the release of periodicals - brochures for greater efficiency and the possibility of daily self-improvement as a parent.

    The health of children largely depends on the natural data of the child, but how much attention the parents pay to him also plays an important role in physical development. What should a family pay special attention to when taking care of the health and physical culture of the child?
