Ringtone for Huawei (EMIU 5)?
1. To change the ringtone on a Huawei smartphone with EMIU 5 firmware, go to the settings menu and select "Sound".
2. Go to the "SIM 1/SIM 2 ringtone" section (if your device is designed for two SIM cards). After selecting the appropriate card, a window pops up with the tabs "Melody" and "Music".
3. In the list, select the desired melody or song, put a circle in front of it and click on the checkmark in the upper right corner.
Standard player
You can put a ringtone on a Huawei smartphone using the native player.
1. Open the standard player, in our case this is the Music application. Go to the "Local" or "Recent" folder.
2. Select the desired track and click on the menu (three dots next to the song title).
3. Click on the item "Melody settings".
4. Here again we choose where we want to set the melody: for SIM 1, SIM 2 calls, notifications or an alarm clock.
File manager
1. We launch the file manager, in our case this is the Files application. We go to the "Audio" section or a folder with music.
2. Find the desired track, click on it and hold.
3. In the window that appears, click on the "Set as" item.
4. Options appear again: melody for SIM 1, SIM 2 or notifications, select the one you need from them.
How to put music on a call to a separate contact?
1. Open the "Contacts" application.

Call recording or “call recorder” for most modern smartphones (and tablets) is a standard feature. Since manufacturers have long believed that users using their smartphone have every right to record their conversations with anyone.
And judging by the reviews of the owners of these certainly interesting smartphones, many of this unexpected fact is somewhat surprising. To put it mildly.
Of course, the problem is easily fixed by installing a mobile application with suitable functionality, which, fortunately, is now in abundance.
But, as it turned out, only for the time being. Since third-party software records calls properly. But over time, it overloads the system, from which the smartphone begins to noticeably slow down, which is not good. Plus, the different overlays and notification sounds that regularly “wedged” into the conversation are also annoying.
In this regard, having wondered on the occasion of finding an alternative and more effective solution to the issue, we found one interesting and even elegant solution on the xda-developers forum. Developed and offered by its authoritative XDA regular, known there under the nickname Blackball.
The solution looks like a regular mod that actually adds the call recording function to the standard functionality of Huawei P10 and P10 Plus smartphones. Fashion, not an app. Therefore, its installation requires the presence of TWRP, a ZIP file with this mod itself, and of the P10 / P10 Plus itself.
In general, if you also want to enable call recording on your P10 / P10 Plus without installing third-party applications, then this is done as follows:
- download zip HuaweiCallRecorder and save it in the smartphone's memory so that it is not lost;
- turn off the smartphone;
- reboot in recovery mode (press and hold the volume up and power buttons at the same time until the Huawei logo appears on the screen);
- in TWRP, click Install;
- specify the folder in which our zip file with the mod is saved;
- swipe on the button at the bottom of the screen and start the installation procedure;
- after its completion, we return to the main TWRP menu, click System and Reboot there.
After rebooting the smartphone, the “Record” button will appear in the regular application of the P10 / P10 Plus phone. We tap it - the recording of the conversation begins. After the end of the conversation, the audio file is automatically saved in the internal memory of the smartphone.
"Call recording" can be configured. In particular, activate the option of automatic recording of conversations. The settings menu is located in the main menu of the Phone app (3 dots in the corner of the screen).
