Receiver tricolor 5000 connection to a TV supra. How to connect "Tricolor TV" without using satellite receivers

To connect the receiving equipment to the Internet, it is recommended to use Ethernet cable.

To access the Internet via a cable (wired connection), the Ethernet cable is connected directly to the receiver. When wirelessly connecting the receiving equipment to the global network, the Ethernet cable is connected to the corresponding socket of your router.

After that, go to the "Internet" subsection ("Settings" section) and select the required connection type - via cable or Wi-Fi.

Connecting the Tricolor receiver via Wi-Fi

To establish a connection between the receiver and the equipment necessary for the operation of a computer network via a router (Wi-Fi), first make sure that your router supports DHCP and this function is active. It is recommended that the data transfer rate be at least 5 Mbps.

If a wireless connection is used, then you can set and / or change the connection parameters between the equipment necessary for the operation of a computer network and the receiver as follows:

  1. We select the required type of connection, i.e. wireless.

2. Then mark the name of your Wi-Fi network in the list that appears.

3. If there is a password on the network to which you are going to connect, you must enter it using the keyboard on the computer screen. Then press the "Connect" button, it is also necessary to confirm the command by pressing the "OK" button on the remote control from the receiving equipment.

4. If the connection is successful, a corresponding notification will appear on the screen.

If you have already connected to the selected Wi-Fi network before, then you can reconnect as follows: press the "Connect" button on the screen and then follow the steps indicated in the last two paragraphs.

If there is an invisible Wi-Fi network for self-adding, do the following: select the "Add network" item (it is the last in the list of networks) and press "OK" on the remote control from the receiver. Using the virtual keyboard, write the name of the network, then you will need to mark the type of encryption and, if necessary, enter the password. Press the "Connect" button, you should also confirm the command by pressing the "OK" button on the remote control from the receiving equipment.

Wired connection of the Tricolor receiver to the Internet

When you select a wired connection, the receiver tries to connect to the network automatically. If the connection is successful, a corresponding notification will be displayed on the monitor.

If there are problems with connecting to the global network in automatic mode, self-installation of network settings will help to correct the situation:

  1. Press the button "Change settings" and "OK" on the remote control from the receiver.
  2. Uncheck the box next to the "Define settings automatically" parameter, for this we press the "OK" button.
  3. After selecting "Change" press "OK" again.
  4. Configure the required network settings using the virtual keyboard.

If you do not know the network parameters, then you should contact the specialist who set up the router for help. You can also get this information from the support staff of your Ethernet operator.

Tricolor TV will supplement satellite TV broadcasting with Internet broadcasting. On September 6, the operator begins test operation of the Online TV service, which will become available to owners of new generation satellite receivers. • Mobility — the receiver can simply be connected to the Internet at a new location and continue to watch Tricolor TV.

Hardware settings:

Attention! To connect to the service, you need to make sure that the software version is up to date. If necessary, download and update the software according to the instructions

Cable connection

1) To cable the receiver to the Internet, connect the Internet cable to the Ethernet connector of the receiver. In this case, an automatic connection to the Internet occurs.

2) If this did not happen, you need to go along the path "Menu" - "Settings" - Network

a) and select "Auto" in the network settings.

b) If the receiver is connected via a router in which DHCP mode is disabled or special local network settings are applied, you need to set the network parameters in the receiver's network settings. In this case, you need to select the "Manual" item. If the subscriber does not know the parameters of the network, it is necessary to recommend contacting the specialist who made this configuration of the router, most often this means contacting the operator providing the Internet.

3) Having chosen the correct type of connection, you need to press "OK" on the remote control. If the connection is successful, the message “Connected” will appear to the right of the “Obtain IP-address” label.

When connected to the Internet

When connecting to the Internet for the first time, authorization by ID must be completed (for authorization, the receiver-client must be connected with the receiver-server to the same local network with Internet access).

Upon successful authorization, the message "Your device is successfully connected to the Internet TV service (ID [ID number])" should appear. Example of a message: "Your device has been successfully connected to the Internet TV service (ID 34567834567234)."

If there is no subscription to the main package of TV channels, an error message will appear and viewing will be unavailable (error messages are considered in the Procedure "Error message. Internet TV").

Broadcast settings

The "Broadcast" section appears in the settings, where you can select the broadcast source for all TV channels, which the set-top box will use when accessing the TV channel. This will not change the channel list. If the "Internet" source is selected for channels for which there is an Internet version, only this source will be selected, for channels with only the DTH version, the receiver will refer to the DTH source.

List of TV channels:

In the list of channels, TV channels with an Internet version will be marked with an icon depicting the globe (in the screenshot below - the Euronovsti channel).

This icon will appear when the receiver is connected to the Internet. Unconnected receivers of these data will not have pictograms.

The presence of a subscription to the main package determines the availability of both the DTH version of the TV channels and the Internet version. If the "Unified" package is not paid for, all TV channels will have a ruble symbol and will not have an Internet version icon, even if there is one:

Tricolor TV is the largest operator of satellite digital television broadcasting. The company strives to provide its customers with a unified space of services and entertainment on any device. To do this, you need to purchase and configure the Tricolor equipment.

When purchasing equipment from this company, you can connect all devices with the help of specialists. But in this article we will consider how you can connect Tricolor TV yourself to a TV set. It is important to know the wiring diagram in order to complete the installation correctly.

The set of equipment consists of a satellite dish, digital receiver, converter, conditional access card (smart card). To be able to use satellite TV, the connection must start with the connection of the satellite dish.

To begin with, a place is chosen where the plate will be located. There should be a good view from the intended location, and the imaginary line between the antenna and the satellite should not be blocked by different objects: buildings, trees. It is also undesirable to install under a roof in order to avoid rain and water flowing onto the device after the snow melts, as well as on glazed balconies, verandas and attics. The method of fastening to the wall and the necessary materials (nuts, screws, etc.) must be selected depending on the material on which the installation will be carried out and the wind load.

The closer the plate is to the TV and to the user, the easier the process of setting it up.

The antenna itself is connected like this:

  • Need to ;
  • On the arc of the converter holder, at its ends, plugs are inserted and a support is screwed, to which a plate (antenna mirror) is then attached;
  • Install the antenna on the bracket;
  • Tighten the nuts so that the plate can be moved with effort in different planes;
  • The converter (a receiving device that is attached to the antenna feed) is installed with the connector down into the holder so that no precipitation falls into it;
  • The cable is connected to the converter using the F-connector as follows:
  1. The insulation is removed from the end of the cable;
  2. The screen is bent (cable sheath);
  3. The foil is folded back;
  4. The layer of internal insulation is removed;
  5. F-connector is screwed on;
  6. The central vein is cut off (no more than 2 mm remains).
  • The resulting end of the cable is inserted into the converter connector;
  • Next, the cable is attached to the converter arc, for example, with electrical tape;
  • Connector F must be sealed, for example, first with electrical tape, and on top with silicone sealant;
  • Attach the cable to the bracket with a tie or adhesive tape, but leave some margin near the antenna;
  • The antenna is adjusted to a certain degree with orientation to the nearest city. The table of cities and azimuths can be found in the operating instructions or on the official tricolor portal: https://www.tricolor.tv/help/connect/how-to-connect-and-configure-the/ustanovka-sputnikovoj-antenny/
  • Azimuth is set using a compass;
  • The cable coming from the converter must be connected to the receiver.

The next step will be to resolve the issue of how to connect the Tricolor receiver to the TV.

Choosing a cable and connecting the receiver

How to connect Tricolor to a TV? There are various inputs on the rear of the receiver. Antenna cable must be connected to LNB IN. An f-connector at this end of the cable must be prepared beforehand. If you plan to use a high-frequency cable, then it must be connected to the LNB OUT and the antenna connector on the TV.

There may be different inputs for connecting to old and new TV models. Accordingly, you may need an HDMI cable for connection, as well as wires for composite ("tulips") or component inputs, s-video, scart-port (for transmitting digital and analog signals).

HDMI is a state-of-the-art technology capable of transmitting high quality content without loss and at high speed. Composite, or RCA, otherwise also called "bells" or "tulips". Consists of 1 video and 2 audio inputs. It is important to correctly insert the inputs into the sockets, otherwise damage to the devices may occur. Used for analog video.

Component, or Y-Pb-Pr (yipper) - used for analog video for three-dimensional color reproduction. The result is a sharper image than composite.

These are the most common connectors, but there may be others that are used in the same way if the appropriate connections are made. If you have a choice between ports, connect the ones that provide the best quality. In descending order of quality, you can arrange the ports in the following order: HDMI, DVI, RGB / Component / VGA, S-Video, Composite.

After you have identified the connectors of your devices, there should be no questions about how to connect the receiver. When connecting composite and component cables, it is important to correctly insert the ends in the correct colors. Having connected the receiver to the TV, depending on the firmware of the receiver, you may need to choose which output the signal will go to.

After Tricolor, you need to turn on the zero channel, start the search and wait for the message "No signal"... This will indicate that the device sees tulips or other cables. Having connected the Tricolor TV receiver to the TV, it remains only to configure the channels.

Tricolor channel setting

If the kit includes a smart card, you need to install it in the receiver. Only after connecting the Tricolor receiver to the TV can you turn it on. When you turn on the Tricolor TV receiver for the first time, a setup wizard will appear on the screen, where you need to select a language, region and operator.

After that, a window will appear where the status, strength and quality of the signal will be displayed. Subsequently, it will be possible to view these settings by pressing the red button (f1) on the remote control of the receiving device 2 times (depending on the model, it may be different).

Turning the antenna, you need to achieve the maximum values of the quality and strength parameters (at least more than 70%).

Antenna tuning should be carried out in slightly cloudy good weather.

After satisfactory results of the received signal, the fasteners must be tightened until the cymbal is securely fixed.

To be able to view the channels, you need to register as a new subscriber. This procedure will be described later. But before registration, the Tricolor TV information channel must be available, which is the first in the list of channels.

After completing the registration, you need to select the set-top box in the menu "Channel search"... And then follow the prompts.

Many modern brands of TVs, for example, Samsung, Sony, LG, are equipped with built-in tuners that free the user from purchasing a set-top box. It is enough to insert the smart card of the satellite operator into the CAM module. The CAM module decodes the video stream and matches it with the TV.

In general, the connection will look like this:

  • The smart card is inserted into the CAM module (CI slot);
  • The TV turns on.

Now let's look at examples of several brands of TVs.

  • In the TV settings, the type of antenna is selected - satellite;
  • A company satellite is selected (this data is available in the antenna documentation);
  • The following settings are set: converter - single, LNB power supply - 10750, transponder frequency - usually 12226 MHz, but it can be different;
  • In the channel settings, enable automatic search;
  • After successfully searching for channels, "Digital TV Sound Settings" the MPEG parameter is set;
  • In the CI settings (CAM) you need to select "Reset to factory settings";
  • Turn off the TV;
  • Switch on and leave in working condition until the channels appear (up to 8 hours). Activation of the Tricolor services must be completed during this time (this is described below).

On TVsLG needs to tick off in the item "Automatic channel update". Otherwise, the channels you configured will be reset.

  • Before configuring, you need to do a factory reset. We go sequentially to "Support", "Self-diagnosis", "Reset"... Enter 0000;
  • Now the smart card is inserted and the same settings are made as in LG TV. That is, satellite, LNB, transponder frequency are the same;
  • If there is no required satellite, you need to select User sat 1. Thus, we will create it manually. In the LNB settings, the frequency is set to 10750;
  • After that, you need to close this menu for the transponder field to become active. We create a new transponder. We enter a certain frequency (for example, 12418) and a baud rate of 27500, as well as polarity (horizontal, left);
  • Press "Search"... The signal strength appears and channels are searched;
  • Enter the transponder again, but "Search network" turn on and press "Search", then all transponder frequencies will be searched. And all channels are found.

True, encrypted channels to which there is no subscription will not be possible to view.

Registration in Tricolor TV

To get access to Tricolor TV, you first need to register the set-top box on the official website of the company. To connect Tricolor, you will need a unique identifier of the receiver and the client's passport data. To create an account for a new subscriber, you will need to find the item on the online portal "Subscriber registration".

After selecting this item, a window will appear in which you need to enter the ID. This is a 12 or 14 digit numeric code that identifies the receiver. This number can be found on a sticker on the device itself or on a smart card, as well as in the settings menu of the receiving device.

After the ID is accepted, you will need to fill in other fields related to the receiver: model, serial number, individual number of the smart card.

After that, you will need to fill in the passport data of the subscriber. Upon completion of registration, a service agreement document will be created. The contract must be printed in 2 copies and one must be sent to the address of the Tricolor company.

Now you need to activate the services, including for watching digital TV. To do this, you need to activate the smart card that came with the kit. On the site you need to find "Card Activation"... In the window, the ID and the individual number, which was sprayed on the smart card, are again entered. Next, the full name is entered. and the subscriber's e-mail, which will receive the activation code.

After the activation request, you will need to connect to any TV channel and leave it on until the image appears.

Wiring diagram for two TV sets

How to connect to a satellite if you need to transmit a signal to two monitors. There can be 2 options here. If you are satisfied with viewing the same channels on both screens, then it is enough to purchase a signal splitter and a cable of the appropriate length. True, the quality will deteriorate during separation.

If the Tricolor prefix already has at least 2 outputs, you can do without a separator. For example, the first output is connected to the first TV, and the scart or HDMI to the other.

But how to connect with two devices so that the channels are independent. This requires a two-tuner attachment and a client receiver.

To connect the main receiver of the Tricolor, you need to perform the usual settings. The second device will play a secondary role and only transmit the processed signal to the second TV.

After the channels are working, you need to connect the main receiver to the second using a UTP cable or twisted pair. Instead of the second receiver, you can use a video sender. Then the transfer to the second TV will be carried out using a wireless Wi-Fi connection.

Connecting LCD panels is no different from other TVs. The only thing that matters is the presence of inputs through which you can connect the TV to the receiver.

So, as you can see, self-installation of equipment for connecting satellite television is a rather time-consuming process. At each stage, care and verification of the performance result is required. Otherwise, it will be difficult to identify at what moment the mistake was made. The main stages are: installing and configuring the antenna, connecting and configuring the receiver to the TV, registering a subscriber, activating the access service. Only after all these steps can you finally enjoy watching your favorite channels.

Tricolor TV has become so widespread among the inhabitants of Russia that it can be compared to dishes or an iron, since these items are necessary for mankind every day. The system has a number of advantages: high quality and immunity from interference - this is the motto of Tricolor TV. Even schoolchildren know that this is the best option for receiving satellite digital television.

Residents do not have any questions about the quality of the system, but everyone wants to expand the potential and improve the quality of the signal depicting pictures on the device's screen. A small part of the population of Russia has old television receivers, while others have modernized analogs.

One receiver - two TVs

The newest Tricolor kits allow you to connect more than one TV to one antenna. However, there are several cases to consider here:

  • Two TVs can view the same channels;
  • And in the case of various programs, financial costs are needed, but there is a possibility of implementation.

Viewing the same channels on two devices means a signal splitter and a long cable. If the receiver has a multi-pin function, then there is no need for a divider.

Embed one device via HDMI, and the other via the antenna connector. It is important to consider the functions of the second TV, it may not provide for these requirements. You can watch various channels on two units only when purchasing a new client and a second receiver. Now it will include two tuners and LNB connections. It will act as a server, and its client as a receiver on the resulting local network.

You can also organize communication thanks to a wireless network, that is, a router and Wi-Fi. Televisions will become independent from each other, as they will have remote controls. However, there is one but - the high cost. Here you need to think about how simple it is - to choose two sets or one with the ability to connect to two or more devices.

Receiver GS E501 / GS C591 on multiple devices

In order for the connection process to be successful, you should configure an antenna that has a converter with a pair of outputs. The coaxial cable allows you to mount the GS E501 (server) connectors together with the converter. The set of equipment, as a rule, contains a twisted pair. If not, the pinout is done manually.

Then the SIM card is inserted respectively into the card reader. All actions are performed exclusively on a de-energized device. The setting is as follows:

Thanks to Tricolor TV, residents of Russia will be able to watch different programs on several units at the same time, using only one Tricolor MultiStart card.

The next step after installing the satellite dish is to connect it to a television receiver through the receiver, which is equipped with two types of outputs - analog and digital. The receiver is designed to decode the received satellite signals, sometimes encoded, and then transmit them to a television receiver. The user is wondering how to connect the Tricolor receiver to the TV in the correct way. Since the tuner is the most expensive in the set of receiving equipment, it is recommended to carefully choose a suitable set-top box when buying a device, according to the recommendations on the company's website.

There is a power cord on the rear panel of the receiver, and there are also several connectors:

  • HDMI. Working in this format of receiving information, any video signal transformations are excluded. The image is obtained in the same quality in which the operator is broadcasting. Tricolor TV is gradually abandoning the MPEG 2 and MPEG 4 formats, replacing them with higher quality HD, so HDMI is the best way to interface devices;
  • analog RF. Previously widespread format. Antenna input accepts analogue channels;
  • component output. Transmits a high definition signal. Each cable has its own color and is designed to transmit information corresponding to its color (brightness, red, blue and additional for audio channels). Before starting the connection, in order to avoid entanglement of cables, it is necessary to read the instructions. The advantage of this connection is clear image transmission;
  • composite audio - video AV output. Known as the tulip. Found on almost every TV or satellite tuner. For self-connection, you need to connect the multi-colored cable lugs to the corresponding sockets on the receiver and television receiver. This connection is suitable for an older TV;
  • SCART format. European connection standard that simultaneously transmits audio and video signals. It is the most used type of connection;
  • S-Video format. A round connector with multiple pins inside. Similar to pairing a computer system unit with a keyboard or mouse. It is found on more expensive equipment.

The tuner has connectors for connecting a high-frequency antenna cable and a converter - LNB OUT and LNB IN, respectively. Depending on the model of the installed device, there may be connectors "tulip", SCART, HDMI. The satellite operator provides its customers with a wide range of receivers, so the set of available outputs is significantly different. The receiver's software is updated via the USB output.

Depending on the firmware version of the tuner, broadcasting occurs either to all available outputs, or only to certain ones. In view of this feature, the technical characteristics of the receiver and the methods of connecting it to the television receiver differ.

Receiver switching circuit

The antenna cable connecting the receiver to the TV must be connected to the LNB IN - the output of the receiver. The type of cable does not matter. The RF cable should be connected to the LNB OUT and the TV antenna socket.

After energizing the receiving equipment, the “Boot” command will appear on the display of the receiver, which means that the receiver has started to work. Further, the inscription will change to the channel number. The TV should search for channels. If the correct connection between the TV and the tuner was made, the line "No signal" will appear.

To switch on other types of cables, using the TV remote control, select the working format of the input signal by pressing the "Sourse" (or "TV / AV") button. Until the command "No signal" is displayed. After the steps taken, you need to set up a satellite dish.

Wiring diagram for two TV sets

To include a second TV receiver in the circuit, you will need an additional cable. If the first TV was connected using the tulip connector, then the second TV should be connected in a different way. It is important to take into account that the information signal must be supplied to all available outputs of the receiver.

Since the display is controlled from one receiver, then the broadcast of the channels will be the same on two TVs. If the subscriber wants to watch different channels, then he needs to purchase another tuner that works from the same antenna, but is connected through a different output on the converter.

To minimize signal loss, experts advise using as few wires as possible. The cable length should also not be too long.

To make your own cable, you need to purchase the required length of the coaxial cable. Then, the F-connector should be connected to one end of it so that the inner core of the cable protrudes at least 1 cm. The same should be done with the other end.

To connect and configure a second independent TV to show other channels, the user needs to purchase a splitter (splitter) for the cable through which the broadcast is transmitted. In the event that only HDMI output is used, it is necessary to use an HDMI splitter that distributes the signal to the required number of TVs.

Wiring methods

Some users of satellite services prefer to use a special device - a video sender instead of wires. The device, consisting of two blocks, is connected between the TV and the tuner and transmits the signal via Wi-Fi. The maximum allowable distance is 30 m. Since this device has all kinds of connectors, it has no problem in installation. Wired video senders have a lower cost, but their use does not solve the problem with extra wires.

Another way that makes it possible for two TVs to work independently of each other is to purchase a special Tricolor TV set, which includes a receiver consisting of two tuners.
