Verification code for icloud keychain. How do I set up automatic filling of credit card information in Safari? Disable automatic closing of the keychain

Hello everyone, dear readers. Today I will tell you what the notorious iCloud Keychain is, how to activate it and how to use it. To begin with, I will give a definition of what iCloud Keychain is.

iCloud Keychain is a cloud service from Apple called iCloud Keychain. Serves to store personal data of users in encrypted form. Logins and passwords, as well as security codes from credit cards + certificates that you use in Apple services can be considered personal data.

Quite naturally, the question arises - how safe is it to use this service for the safety of data. According to the company, all data is stored in encrypted form and only the owner of the data can access it, Apple employees do not have access to your data.

You can activate this mode directly from your Apple device, such as iPad or iPhone. I will use the iPad as an example, but there is no difference between activating the mode on an iPhone or an iPad.

Activation

Follow the steps below to successfully activate the required service:

In the future, you will be able to synchronize information from this service with other devices: both based on the iOS operating system, as well as Mac OS.

Setting

Now let's set up automatic saving of important data in the iCloud Keychain service entered in the Safari browser:

  1. First of all, you need to go to the device settings and select the Safari section, and then go to the item - passwords;
  2. In the field that opens, you need to check the box in the “Names and passwords” section.

After completing the above operation, all your passwords, logins and other data entered in the Safari browser will be saved, at your request, to the iCloud Keychain cloud service.

Some tips for working with this described function:

  1. If you cannot configure or activate bundles, you need to update the operating system to the latest version, and also check your Internet connection;
  2. You can view all saved passwords, for this you need to: go to settings, then go to the section Safari, Passwords, saved passwords;
  3. This service may not save passwords on some websites because such sites, for security reasons, prohibit the storage of any data;
  4. I recommend that you use this tool - keychain - only on a mobile Apple device without jailbreak. Because using this feature with a jailbreak may not be safe.

How many people today trust computers and smartphones? Almost all of them store photos, location information, often credit card data and codes, and countless passwords.

The latter are the main protection mechanism on the Internet, they store access to everything that the user would probably like to hide, which means that they must be advanced and difficult to select. The number of such passwords accumulates, exceeds a hundred, and now no one is able to remember them.

To protect and securely store all this information, Apple has come up with a tool called Keychain ("Keychain").

keys"?

At its core, this is a password manager developed by Apple specifically for its operating system. This tool was introduced with the release of Mac OS 8th iteration, released in 1998. Since then, this utility has been part of every Apple release, including OS X and iOS (since 2013 referred to as “iCloud Keychain”).

It is capable of storing various data on a Mac, such as passwords for websites, FTP servers, SSH accounts, shared networks, wireless networks, hidden notes, general software and hardware, as well as for certificates and encrypted disk images.

Product history

Initially, a similar mechanism was used in the PowerTalk application, which was an email client from Apple. The application was created back in the early 90s, and Keychain helped control all user data from various email services that PowerTalk could connect to.

Due to the use of encryption, passwords were difficult to remember and recover. Therefore, a mechanism was needed that would allow the user to enter only one password (master password), which opens access to all mail services (each of which has its own login data and passwords).

This idea, despite its obviousness and usefulness, practically died at the moment when Apple decided to stop supporting PowerTalk. But with the return of Steve Jobs, this function returned to and worked not only in one program, but in the entire system.

Storage and access

On Mac operating systems of the 10th generation and older, all Keychain files are stored in a special system directory, and this data can also be found in a special application located in the Utilities folder.

"Keychain Access" is free and open source software (the source code of the utility is freely available), which is distributed under a public license from Apple.

The keychain file stores a lot of information, of which only notes and passwords are encrypted, everything else (names, links) is available to everyone.

Lock and unlock

By default, the Keychain file is protected with the same password, which is why the function becomes available immediately after logging in with your username and password. If necessary, it can be installed separately for this function.

Also, for greater security, you can set a blocking interval, for example, 15 minutes. In this case, if the computer has not been used for 15 minutes, when you try to use the Keychain Access, it will require a password.

"Bunch of keys

Apple announced this product 15 years after the appearance of the original Keychain. In 2013, at the WWDC conference, along with iOS 7 version and OS X Mavericks, a technology was presented that allows you to synchronize all the user's secret data and store it securely.

This option is a kind of online storage that contains all user data, including: passwords from web pages, passwords from wireless networks, account information and credit card payment data (with the exception of security codes - CVV).

All this data is encrypted according to the AES 256-bit standard and is available only to a specific user and only in applications adapted to work with this utility (they send a request to Safari, the browser checks if the links match and offers the application a password previously saved in the system).

The service also includes the creation of long, complex and secure passwords for sites where the user registers.

"Bunch of keys

Getting started with iCloud Keychain is not difficult at all, but first of all, you need to make sure that your gadget (smartphone or tablet) has iOS 7.0.3 or later, and your computer has OS X 10.9 or later.

Setting up iCloud Keychain (Mac instructions):

  • First you need to launch “Settings” (either from the Apple menu, which is hidden behind the apple icon in the upper left corner, or from the Dock).
  • Select the iCloud submenu.
  • Enter your password to unlock your computer.
  • Enter your Apple ID details.

How to add a credit card to Keychain Access (instruction for Mac):

  • Safari needs to be launched.
  • Then go to the settings of this program.
  • In the settings, select the submenu Autofill (autofill).
  • Next to the sub-item "Credit cards" find the button "Edit".
  • Click on the "Add" button and enter your credit card details.

How to set up iCloud Keychain (iOS instructions):

  • Select the iCloud submenu.
  • Then sub-item "Keychain".
  • Move the iCloud Keychain toggle switch to the ON position. Accordingly, to turn off, you need to reverse the action, switch the toggle switch to the OFF position.
  • After that, you will be asked to come up with a new password or enter an existing one (iCloud Keychain security code for activation), as well as attach third-party gadgets for confirmation.
  • You need to launch "Settings" from the "Home" screen.
  • Select the Safari submenu.
  • Then the sub-item Password & AutoFill (Passwords and autofill).
  • Enter a passcode.
  • Select the Saved Credit Cards submenu.
  • Add a credit card (enter the required information and click “Finish”).

Password synchronization

Synchronizing data in Keychain Access is not a necessary option. Moreover, you can sync data without iCloud (only on Mac computers).

To avoid data synchronization with the cloud and their subsequent storage there, during the activation of the "Keychain Access" you need to skip the stage with the creation of a six-digit verification code. In this case, all data will be stored only on physical media, locally.

It is also possible to synchronize data using files stored in /Library/Keychains/. Typically, this is used in corporate networks and when there are several shared Mac computers. Unfortunately, synchronization often disappears when the password is changed in the system on one of the devices (including Windows).

Access to "Keychain"

Before you can get all the information stored in the cloud, you must confirm the iCloud Keychain. This can be done via SMS or a second device.

In the first case, the user will receive a randomly generated passcode to verify their identity or fully activate the iCloud Keychain feature. You can confirm from another device if the user has a gadget on which this function is already working.

Security code

This is a special cipher consisting of 6 digits, or a complicated alphanumeric combination, which is necessary in order to gain access to passwords and cards stored in the Keychain, as well as in case of loss of access to it.

Possible problems

Nothing is perfect, not even iCloud Keychain. No, this is not about security holes or data loss, but there are quite a few problems associated with enabling this feature and regaining access after updating, resetting and setting up a new device. Below is a list of the most common questions and concerns.

"iCloud Keychain" failed to set up due to missing SMS code? If for some reason an SMS message with a password code does not arrive, you must:

  • Check the connection to the cellular network.
  • Make sure that the phone is capable of receiving SMS (the tariff plan and the installed SIM card support this feature).
  • Check if the number is specified to receive the SMS code. To do this, in the "Keychains" settings, find the "Advanced" sub-item and indicate the correct number in the "Verification number" item.

iCloud Keychain does not sync data between devices. In this case, completely disabling and enabling the function almost always helps. This must be done on all devices. After turning it back on, all of them will receive the most up-to-date data from the server and continue to work as usual.

Can't find passwords saved in iCloud Keychain? Data about them and credit cards saved in the cloud can be found as follows:

  • Go to "Settings" from the "Home" screen.
  • Select the Safari submenu.
  • Then sub-item Passwords (Passwords).
  • The system will require you to enter a password or use Touch ID (fingerprint sensor) to verify your identity.
  • After verification, you can select any site and see the password for it.

Safari doesn't save data to Keychain Access and doesn't offer password substitution. This problem can be solved by activating the "Names and passwords" toggle switch in the "Autofill" submenu in the Safari settings.

Supported Devices

iCloud Keychain is supported on all current Apple devices. This includes all computers running macOS from the Mavericks generation and later (almost all PCs from 2007 and later).

Also, this function works on a number of mobile devices (all on which you can install the mobile operating system version 7.0.3). These include: iPhone 4th generation and above, iPad 2nd generation and above, 5th generation and above.

iCloud Keychain is an indispensable assistant in storing important and secret information. All passwords are saved from the Safari app to cloud storage. No need to write down or memorize complex passwords yourself, a bunch of keys will help you remember and open everything.

When using the iCloud Keychain app, enter the iCloud security code. The code can be: six-digit, numeric or alphanumeric, or generated automatically. This code allows you to restore data if the device is lost, as well as perform certain actions when identifying the user. This is an additional protection, but the code should be such that you do not forget it and remember it. If you enter the code incorrectly, and even several times, then the keychain will be blocked on this device. To resume work, contact Apple technical service for identification and unlocking.

When activating the keys, you can not enter the security code and skip this step, then the information will not be stored in the cloud.

Bundle setup

If it is impossible to confirm the entry from another device into the application on the new device, use the security code, after entering which, confirm the connection via SMS. On any Apple device, to set up the application, go to the "Settings" menu, select "iCloud", look for an application with keys. When you click on the application icon, a switch will appear, move it to enable. Enter the ID password and continue with the further steps according to the instructions. Now the most important function is available to you - automation of entering any passwords and codes. Easily pay for purchases, go to sites, email without hesitation.

Credit card security

The vault contains credit card numbers and expiration dates. The security digits do not remain in memory. Disabling the application does not erase data.

Some problems when using the application and how to solve them

SMS code not received

  • Make sure that this phone number is attached to the account.
  • Check the tariff plan, find out if there is a ban on SMS notifications.

Check the number that is linked to the account, go to "Settings", select "iCloud Keychain", go to the "Advanced" tab. A phone number is entered in the "Verification number" section.

Social media passwords not showing up on devices

In the "Settings" section, open "Safari" and go to "Autofill". Check the functionality of the "Names and passwords" account. When this feature is disabled, passwords are not remembered. Then press "Home" and check "Safari". If the program window is black, then disable the "Private Access" mode.

Sometimes popular websites don't give their visitors permission to save their passwords, so their passwords won't be saved.

If you lose access to one of your devices

If you lose access to one of your devices, you must create another security code. Go to "Settings", select the application, go to the "Advanced" tab. Select "Verify with Security Code" and select the "Forgotten Code" tab. Activate "Reset Keychain Access". Confirm your actions and create a new password.

Code change message

If a message about changing the security code appears, do not ignore it. It is not necessary to update the security code, but the system must be updated. If these steps are not taken, the message will reappear. If you ignore this message and don't respond by ticking "not now", then after the third failure, the keychain will be turned off. Synchronization will not occur on other devices, and it will be impossible to restore the application through the site.

When this message appears, it is possible to perform an update. Click "Create" and follow the suggested steps.

Wrong code entered many times

If you enter the wrong code several times, the link will be disabled. The keychain in the cloud will simply be deleted. Verify this device through another or reset the app.

Turn off the service on all devices

If you turn off this service from all devices, then your bundle will be deleted from the cloud. To resume operation, configure the service again.

When updating the software of any Apple device, the bundler must also be reconfigured. To do this, go to iCloud settings and turn on the keys by moving the slider. After that, follow the instructions and set up your device again.

Security

Apple is committed to confidentiality and information received from users of their products is not disclosed. Information is transmitted in encrypted form, the keys cannot be transferred to someone else. Information about the location of the gadget will be stored in the cloud for no more than a day, and then it will be permanently deleted.

If there are problems with the connection, check the settings in the device.

Marked for users of Apple technology the emergence of another excellent service within iCloud - password synchronization using iCloud Keychain. Apple has done its best to make it easy to set up and use this feature, but our readers still have a lot of questions about this new feature.

What can iCloud Keychain do?

iCloud Keychain offers:

That's why secure access storage is extremely important, and two-step verification is precisely designed for it, so it's very important that we activate it as soon as possible. After the data is written, click "Login". In the left menu, click "Password" and "Security".

If we don't have them, we can skip this step. After these initial checks, we should start with the configuration. We enter our mobile phone by clicking "Add phone number". A notification will appear on the screen of the device with a verification code that we must enter on the Internet to verify it. In the second step, we will show our recovery key. This key is to write it down in a safe place and never lose it. In case we have a problem with the two-step verification, it is very necessary for him to gain access to our account again.

  • synchronization of logins, passwords and data from Safari forms
  • data synchronization
  • Wi-Fi password synchronization

Synchronization works on Macs with OS X 10.9, iPhone, iPod touch and iPad with iOS 7.0.3. When you activate a keychain in iCloud, a single cloud storage is created in which ALL your passwords are collected. All of them are simultaneously available from all your devices connected to the same iCloud account.

At this point, you will ask us to enter our recovery key. This step serves to check if the key is entered correctly and issues due to spelling issues. If we agree, we must check the box to understand these terms and click the Activate two-step verification button. To do this, we must follow the following steps.

We click on the "Password" and "Security" option in the menu on the left, and then on the "Deactivate verification" in two steps option, which is located in the lower right corner. You will ask us to submit three security questions, our date of birth, and an alternative recovery email. This will be the data needed to recover the password if we forget it or are blocked for any reason.

Please note - on Macs, iCloud Keychain only works with Safari! For users of Chrome, Firefox or Opera, the new Apple feature will be of little use, because there are no plug-ins that add support for these browsers and will not be. There are no alternatives to Safari on iOS in this case either.

Setting up iCloud Keychain for the first time on Mac

Let's say right away - for residents of Ukraine, Belarus and other CIS countries not listed in this list, activating Keychain Access from a Mac is the only way to properly configure this function.

A pop-up window will ask if we don't need to disable 2-Step Verification. If we really click the Deactivate button. Our recommendation is that we continue active two-step verification on our devices whenever possible.

This means that anyone who takes over the account or corrects it to change the password can access your personal information. Otherwise, we recommend that you change it to enable 2-Step Verification as soon as possible.

Enter your username and password. If you have any security questions, please answer them. After successfully logging in, go to the "Password and Security" section in the left pane. The first option would be 2-Step Verification. Click "Start" to begin setup.

Open your Mac settings, go to the iCloud remote, turn on the "Keychain Access" checkbox:

The Mac will insistently prompt you to turn on the password request from the user account immediately after waking up from sleep mode or unlocking the screen - of course, for additional security. This suggestion can be ignored.

You will then be asked to create a Keychain Access PIN. By default, this is a four-digit number that you need to remember and enter each time you connect a new device to your Keychain:

You will now see an explanation of what two-step verification is. In the next window, you will see additional information explaining what validation is; please note that if you forget your password, the process of recovering it will be long and tedious.

On the side of each device, you will see a "Check" legend. Choose the one you want to check. After a few seconds, you must enter a 4-digit code on your mobile phone. Enter the code on your computer. On the website, you will see that your device is now verified. You can repeat the process with all the devices you need.

But this is not necessary either. Pay attention to the "Advanced" button. It opens several options regarding the PIN code:

The first will allow paranoids to set a code of any length using any characters, not just numbers. The second will generate the code automatically. The third generally allows you to abandon the security code. But how will the confirmation of new devices take place in this case? Very simple - with the help of your other devices.

You will now be provided with a recovery code, which is required to print and store in a safe place. This code will ask you if you have forgotten your password or when you want to check in on a new computer, so it is very important that you save this code very well.

When you have copied this number, you must enter it to confirm that it is the same. A window will appear indicating that the process was successful. The benefit is that you no longer have to enter your regular passwords every time you restore your system or network settings. Swipe across them to get the Activate button and slide the button to the right.

Once the PIN is created or cancelled, the setup is complete.

The initial setup of Keychain Access on iOS goes in a similar way - go to the "Settings-iCloud" menu and turn on the "Keychain Access" checkbox, and then create a PIN. The problem is that you will be forced to enter a mobile phone number, and only Russia is supported from the CIS countries.

What credit card information is stored in iCloud Keychain?

So, enter your password or create one if applicable. Is this the first time you are doing this setup on one of your devices? Then create a security code. Security requires this because this way you will control which devices will have access to your synced data. You must enter your code twice. If you choose to create a different password, do so using a combination of numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters.

Do not create easily accessible codes or passwords. Choose the option that suits you, tap it, and follow the instructions. Enter your phone number or any other number you have access to to verify your identity. Note: Write down your codes and passwords in a safe place where you have easy access in case you forget. Without your codes and passwords, you will be completely blocked!

Now let's talk about connecting new devices to iCloud Keychain.

Connecting a new iOS device to iCloud Keychain

Go to the "Settings-iCloud" menu already mentioned above and select the "Keychain Access" item:

Agree to enable the feature:

If you choose not to generate a security code, you must approve the configuration on each new device. A warning. This will delete all your data. To configure, activate the "Contacts" and "Names and passwords" buttons. Activate this last button and you will be redirected to an interface where you can activate or not block by code. Scroll through the menu and activate the buttons you need.

But as soon as you share your account with another person or change your smartphone regularly, the limit of ten registered devices is quickly reached and you have to do your homework to remove the old ones. Scroll down to the My Devices group to view a list of authorized devices.

You will definitely need to enter the password for your iCloud account:

After that, the Keychain Access will go into activation pending mode.

As we said, when adding a new device to your iCloud Keychain, you have two alternatives:

Click "Deauthorization" to delete your old smartphone, tablet or computer. Confirm with "Deauthorization". The list is reduced to the actual devices you use, so you can add new phones, tablets, or other devices.

Unable to remove device?

Click the cross line to deauthorize the device. The curious limit that a smartphone lover can block is reset. On the device before it is lost. If you've set up family sharing, you can also remove devices from your family members. This ensures that you are the only person who can access your account, even if someone knows your password. If you want to connect to a new device for the first time, you must provide two pieces of information: your password and a six-digit verification code that automatically appears on your trusted devices.

  • enter PIN code
  • confirm connection from another device

On an iOS device, you will see a "Verify with code" button, by clicking on which you can enter a PIN and activate the feature immediately:

The fallback is confirmation from another device. As soon as you try to turn on iCloud Keychain on one of your devices, all other gadgets connected to the same iCloud account and the same Keychain will receive notifications:

By entering this code, you confirm that the new device is secure. The verification code is only requested once for each new device, unless you completely disconnect from it, delete its data, or change your password for security reasons. If you access your account in a browser, you can verify your account so you don't have to enter a code every time you connect.

Trusted phone numbers

It allows you to receive a verification code, which can then be used to verify your identity when you access your account using a new device or browser. When activating two-factor authentication, you must provide at least one trusted number.

But it's not just a notification. By clicking on the banner, you will be taken to iCloud settings, where you will be prompted to enter your account password as confirmation of consent to add a new device to your Keychain. After entering the password on any of your other devices, the new gadget is considered permanently connected, password syncing via iCloud Keychain will begin.

Enable two-factor authentication in settings

Enter and verify your secure phone number

Enter the phone number you want to use to receive verification codes when you sign in.

Does iCloud Keychain work with third party apps?

Enter the verification code to verify your phone number and turn on two-factor authentication. In this case, this feature is already enabled. If you're already using two-step verification and want to choose a more secure method. If your account cannot benefit from two factor IDs, you can still use the account to protect your information.

Connecting a new Mac to iCloud Keychain

The process is identical to that described in the previous chapter of the review. You go to OS X settings, iCloud Remote, and turn on Keychain Access. Enter your iCloud account password.

Information to Consider When Using Two-Factor Authentication

Once this feature is enabled, only those with the password, your devices, or trusted numbers can access your account. To keep your account as secure as possible and not lose access, follow these steps.

Updating the list of trusted numbers

  • Protect all your devices with a passcode.
  • Update your trust numbers.
  • Store trusted devices in a safe place.
To use two-factor authentication, you must provide at least one trusted phone number to receive verification codes.

Entering the PIN-code does not need special explanations:

If you don't want to enter a PIN, the Mac will remain in activation pending mode:

It's pretty hard to miss the new device verification notification - both in OS X and iOS it will hang in plain sight:

You can change your trusted numbers by following these steps. In the Security section, click Edit. . To add a number, click Add Trust Number and then enter the number. To remove a trusted number, click the icon next to it.

Trusted device management

Create application passwords

To do this, click the "Code" that is not received on the login screen, and then ask to send the code to a trusted number. If you can't connect, reset your password, or receive verification codes, follow the instructions. The account recovery option allows you to resolve connection issues with your account by protecting your account from unauthorized access. Depending on the information you can provide to verify your identity, it may take a few days before you can access your account again.

Apple devices are known to allow two-step authorization. This security method performs at least two authentication checks - a password and a trusted device - to access an account.

Do I still need to remember security issues?

With two-factor authentication, there is no need to select or remember security issues. Your identity is verified solely by your password and verification codes sent to your trusted devices and phone numbers. When you turn on two-factor authentication, we store your old security questions for two weeks in our files in case you need to set up your account with the previous security settings. They are removed after two weeks.

Two-step, or as it is also called, two-factor authentication (2FA) provides reliable data protection, since it requires not only knowledge of the password, but also physical access to one of the keys, in our case, the iPhone or iPad.

Needless to say, we highly recommend using it on any account where possible. Moreover, if the service does not support 2FA, you should think twice before using it if the security of your data is important to you.

If two-step verification is enabled on your Apple ID (which, in a good way, you should do), then you most likely met with a window that asks you to confirm that you are the owner of this account. This screen should list some of your Apple devices and at least one verified phone number. These devices act as access keys.

Have you ever wondered what requirements the devices on the list should meet? Or maybe it was necessary to add or remove a device from this list? In this tutorial, we will walk you through managing trusted devices for 2FA.

How to add a trusted device

To add a device as one of your authentication keys, you just need to turn on Find My iPhone on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. As soon as you enable the feature, the device will automatically be added to the trusted list. After that, you will need to confirm adding this device.

Step 1: Sign in to iCloud and turn on Find My iPhone on the device you want to trust in Settings > iCloud.

Step 2: In Safari, sign in with My Apple ID, go to Password & Security >

Step 4: This device will receive a four-digit verification code.

Enter this code in the field that appears in Safari and click Verify device.

Now you can make sure that the device is verified as trusted. Now, whenever you need to use two-step authentication to log into your Apple ID, you can use this device as a key.

How to remove a trusted device

Not surprisingly, devices can also be removed from the trusted list. When you sign out of iCloud or turn off Find My iPhone, your device is no longer trusted, but it still appears in the list as possibly trusted.

Step 1: Turn off Find My iPhone.

Step 2: In Safari, sign in with My Apple ID, go to Password & Security > Add or Remove Trusted Device.

Confirm deletion.

Here, in general, that's all. In this simple way, trusted devices are added and removed for two-step authentication. You will need to work with this list often, especially if you like to constantly log out of your accounts and use different devices.

iCloud Keychain is a technology for storing and syncing sensitive data on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Mac computers. The following items fall into the category of stored information: logins and passwords for news and entertainment resources, social networks; added credit cards for payment, keys for authorization in secure Wi-Fi points.

Recently, Apple developers have been transferring data from third-party applications between different devices - Calendars, Contacts, Mail and iMassage messages. The main idea of iCloud Keychain is to provide users with the services of a secure (256-bit AES encryption) password manager that works with any data and allows you not to remember information, but to agree to automatically fill in available text forms for authorization or payment.

How to set up and use?

Technology - iCloud Keychain - available on the iOS operating system? starting from version 7.0.3 and on MacOS with Mavericks 10.9, and is open in almost all regions of the world (the developers write more about the restrictions in a special section on the official Apple website). If the conditions converge, it remains to go through the initial settings:

If there were no problems with the repetition of the described actions, and there was a desire to try out the data storage and synchronization system, then it remains to figure out the details.

And yet - the function works quietly with all third-party applications. The same browser from Google Chrome calls the "Keychain Access" and calmly takes the necessary data. Similarly, it's easy to sign in to the App Store, iTunes, and iCloud services.

Questions and answers

How to speed up the data entry process?

Check the box in "Settings" in the "Passwords and accounts" section opposite the "Autofill" item. If the system meets an already familiar resource, it will immediately try to fill in the “login and password” field. On smartphones starting from version 5S, you will have to put your finger on the Touch ID fingerprint scanner, up to 5S you will need to enter a verification code. On the iPhone X, everything works instantly - the face is scanned automatically.

Is Keychain Secure?

As Apple developers suggest, breaking through 256-bit encryption is almost impossible, because encryption data is generated for each device separately, in accordance with the selected settings and entered passwords. You can read more about security protocols at.

If I turn off iCloud Keychain, what happens?

The system will offer two options - delete the saved data or archive it for further use if the technology is needed again.

How do I set up automatic filling of credit card information in Safari?

The procedure is elementary:

How to restore access to iCloud?

The best way is to contact support. Professional consultants will tell you how to use the regular recovery function, and at the same time they will point you in the right direction if nothing works.
