Therefore, the simplest and absolutely safe method of overclocking Intel is to increase the frequency of the system bus FSB (BCLK).

The availability and simplicity of this method boils down to the fact that the FSB (BCLK) can be changed directly in the BIOS, as well as programmatically, using a step of 1 MHz for this purpose.

In more "ancient" models, the use of such a method could result in sad consequences - the processor could simply burn out. Today, in order to "kill" a modern multi-core Intel only by increasing its clock frequency, incredible efforts will be required. How to change the multiplier
