Programs for 3D modeling sketchup in Russian. Commercial version of the program - SketchUp Pro

In 1999, Last Software began active development of a program for editing three-dimensional graphics and creating corresponding images. As a result of hard work, an innovative project of its kind called SketchUp was born. He began to actively gain popularity around the world and noticing this success, Google decided to take over the developer and did so in 2006. However, six years later, the still successful 3D virtual construction project was sold to Trimble.

What is SketchUp

The program, originally written for modeling three-dimensional objects, has gained particular popularity among engineering professionals, developers, designers and architects. The inherent potential and capabilities allow the program to set the physical world in three-dimensional form, making it even more expressive and accessible.

Now those who wish to take advantage of the program and its potential can use the free version of Make, or buy paid version, which is called sketchup pro. Let's look at them in more detail.

Commercial version of the program - SketchUp Pro

Today, the program is considered one of the most advanced programs for three-dimensional modeling, because its arsenal contains a wide range of possibilities for comfortable work with 3D models. In addition, the program is built in such a way that even a novice user, who until recently did not even have the necessary experience in modeling three-dimensional objects, can easily understand it.

The efforts of the developers were not in vain, because now users have got convenient and intelligent tools with which drawing, scaling, rotating and measuring three-dimensional shapes has become even more convenient. As a result, the productivity of work has increased significantly and now the users of this program began to complete their projects much faster and with excellent quality.

You can download SketchUp torrent to use the free version of the program. Even if you have no experience with this software, you will not encounter problems. The developers have made the interface as simple and clear as possible, and advanced functionality opens up a wide horizon of possibilities for the user. You can apply highlights or shadows, retouch the face, position the camera at different angles, or swipe virtual review models. Therefore, if you are faced with the task of successfully presenting your own project, be sure to follow the professional version and use all the functions of the program. In addition, the program is available in Russian, which makes it even easier to get acquainted with it, the program is fully translated, and the lessons usually contain the names of functions and buttons in two languages.

sketchup 2016

The program has replenished helper functions, has become even more accessible for beginners and has improved its interface. The library of ready-made objects and textures has been replenished, tools for creating very colorful and dynamic presentations have appeared. Google user SketchUp will now be able to conveniently export and import files, including in Google Earth, work with different formats, apply 3D modeling functions to regular .jpg images.

The 2016 version can be obtained now, as the translation of the program was carried out immediately. In addition, the program for professional 3D modeling has expanded the list of available formats with which it works. Therefore, if you need a functional, fast, intuitive understandable program for design, pay attention to the 2016 version.

sketchup 2017

Bye this version can really be called the best and most intelligent version in model range. Working with it even for a short time, you are surprised how smoothly, quickly and reliably the created models can work. The graphics pipeline itself new version has undergone significant improvements, has become more productive and has optimized internal algorithms for smooth rotation of three-dimensional objects.

Previously, many users of the program complained about transparency. But now the feeling of depth in transparent planes has become even more real. updated version received a convenient X-ray mode, with which you can easily adjust the transparency value and make the reproduction quality even better.

Thanks to the efforts of the developers of SketchUp Pro 2017 rus, the torrent of which you can already get, has significantly accelerated its work, has become even more accurate and fast, and thanks to high resolution DPI format models can now easily be displayed on high-definition monitors, scale them and at the same time consider absolutely all the details. In previous versions, there was a problem of self-intersection of shapes, which we managed to get rid of using a new tool called "Shift". Also, users have unique opportunity draw figures perpendicular to the edge. Moreover, all operations are done as quickly and simply as possible, with one movement of the mouse.

Thus, each designer of spatial models is able to choose for himself the appropriate tool for the job. He will only have to decide for himself whether to use paid or free program and choose the appropriate version. Otherwise, Google SketchUp remains, apparently, the most accessible and functional program to date. Projects made in it can be saved in the popular *.skp format. If you need to import or export graphic elements, other common formats and extensions can be used. If this does not seem enough, it is enough to additionally install the plugin and export images in *.mxs, *.atl, *.dae format, without any restrictions and difficulties. Fortunately, SketchUp can be downloaded for free in Russian right now. For this, you do not have to spend time or huge forces. Popular Application constantly supported by developers and used by a wide contingent of highly specialized workers.

sketchup 2018

SketchUp pro 2018 rus, the torrent of which can be obtained on the site, is useful from the first stages of design to the end of construction. Let's take a look at some of the new editor features:

  • Sections with names. Now it's easy to access and manage sections when you need them. This makes them easier to find, organize, and edit in the Outliner;
  • Filled cuts. Filled cuts are now part of the program. Choose a fill color in the Styles dialog box and integrate them into your templates;
  • Scaled vector drawing. Create a scale drawing in LayOut and draw a 3D model to add to your project. You can also draw scaled data from scratch directly in LayOut;
  • Import DWG. Editor projects can now work with CAD outlines and use DWG libraries anywhere;
  • Summary reports. The Generate Report feature now collects component data so you can do things like set up reports to add details and quantities for schedules and parts lists, or create detailed calculations by adding layer prices;
  • Import/Export IFC. You can rely on IFC to communicate the attributes you assign and manage across projects.

If you want to start using the program, it remains only to download Sketchup 2018 for free in Russian from our website.

sketchup 2019

Since 2000, SketchUp has taken pride of place among programs for modeling 3D objects. Previously, developers positioned software as non-professional, but sketchup version Pro 2019, which you can download torrent right now, is supplemented with functionality for the most demanding designers, architects and engineers.

Innovations:

  • Full synchronization with other products and older versions - create a single account and easily work with previous versions of the software, LayOut, SketchUp Viewer, AutoCad 2018 and other programs while synchronizing projects. For example, all shapes created in LayOut are exported to SketchUp as elements, ready to be added to the workspace. AutoCAD 2018 has its own import that ensures accuracy and stability without data loss.
  • Dotted lines - new feature, designed to simplify the creation of objects. Activated in the Layers panel and helps to indicate invisible contour lines on the projection.
  • Tribble Connect - sharing documents and elements 3D modeling for big projects. This feature allows 2 engineers to simultaneously make edits, fix bugs, and back up data while maintaining different versions and the possibility of rollback.
  • Roulette - a tool for measuring and creating construction lines has received an important update that displays information about measurements right in the tooltip.
  • Blocking LayOut files - if necessary, a file that one user is working with will not be available at that time to others. Plus, the software will notify you about open files to avoid making multiple copies.
  • Preview before export - the ability to see the result again before export.
  • Editing Styles - ready styles greatly narrowed the possibilities of the program, but now you can create your own.
  • CPU Load Optimization - Fixed an issue that caused the software to reserve all of the CPU power at startup, preventing you from switching to third-party applications.

SketchUp Pro 2019 owners get access to the SketchUp Viewer, allowing direct modeling for Oculus, Windows Mixed Reality, VIVE, and Hololens.

Hello to all readers of the mother site SiteProRemont.ru! He just turned 7 months old. Yes, yes, the first article was published on March 17th.

Then, even in my wildest dreams, I could not imagine that such a powerful growth in terms of popularity awaited him. To date, the average daily attendance is about 1200 people. So, I'm not writing so badly)) I'll try to continue in the same spirit and further!

And today we will have a non-standard topic. Several readers for recent times asked me what kind of 3D editor I use to create pictures for articles? And I decided to tell about it on the site. I think many will be interested, especially since this editor is free, simple, and hundreds, if not thousands, of training lessons are attached to it on YouTube. The topic of the article is a program for 3D modeling SketchUp. It was formerly owned by Google, which sold it last year to Trimble Navigation. There are two versions of Sketchup: PRO ($590) and free - SketchUp Make. It is about her that we will talk.

Even though it's pretty simple program, but knowing it well, you can develop a full-fledged interior design and build complex objects. For example, with my embarrassing level of proficiency in this editor, I can get images of this level:

Given that I started getting to know him just before the start of the project.

Before you directly start acquaintance with Sketchup, I propose to figure out why such an editor can be useful to you and me?

First of all, it can become an assistant in the design of your home. Or, let's say you want to build a garage or a country house. Sketchup will allow you to realize your plans in virtual reality. It will be possible to evaluate everything properly, to estimate.

In addition, it can save you a lot of time on counting building materials, as it allows you to quickly and clearly show everything. required distances and squares. It is especially convenient to count the number of tiles, at the same time you can immediately decide on its layout:

Download and install SketchUp on your computer

You can download Sketchup, of course, from the official website of the program - http://sketchup.com.

To do this, select SketchUp Make from the Our Products menu and then click the red Download SketchUp button.

Logically, the program should then start downloading, but nooo. You will be prompted to indicate why you need it at all, enter your contacts, select operating system and so on.

And only after filling out the entire form and clicking Download again, the download of the editor will begin. It weighs a little - 72.2 MB (the current version for today).

It remains only to press the Next button all the time and in one place check the box under license agreement. I think everyone is good at this)

Getting to know the interface

In order to better understand everything that I will describe below, I recommend downloading a specially prepared by me with a simple model of an apartment. Practice on it, it will be much clearer than just reading an article.

Here is a screenshot of the program window:

As you can see, everything is English language. This, of course, is not very cool, but I will try to explain what's what. Above we see the usual text menu. Let's quickly go over its points.

File (File). This tab traditionally contains the items "Create", "Open", "Save", "Import", "Export", "Print", "Exit".

Edit (Edit). Also nothing out of the ordinary. By going to the tab, you can "Cut", "Copy", "Paste", "Delete", "Select All", "Hide / Show" the object (Hide / Unhide), "Lock / Unlock" (Lock / Unlock) , " Create component", "Create group" of objects. These last specific points will be dealt with in other lessons, it is too early for us to discuss this.

View (View). Here you can choose which panels, menus, editor elements to show and which not. Let's select this tab.

The Toolbars menu is responsible for displaying the various panels of the editor. For example, the drawing panel or the shadow panel. I only have the Large Tool Set activated, since it contains all the main buttons, and Shadow (Shadows). To get started, these two panels will be enough for you.

By default, the 3D modeling software displays Hidden geometry, Section Planes & Cuts, Axes, Guides. Hidden Geometry are also auxiliary lines inside an object that help to more accurately represent its shape. You can safely remove this daw. Section Planes & Cuts, too. I recommend leaving the axes for a better representation of the volume, as well as the Auxiliary lines.

The Shadows item is responsible for the dynamic shading of the model depending on the selected time of day and season, which are set in the panel of the same name. That is, the program has its own sun, the position of which, as in reality, depends on time. But not from real time, but from the one we have chosen. Please note that on complex models, when Shadows are turned on, the computer may slow down.

Fog is fog. By activating this option, you will see close objects well, but poorly - distant ones. How more distance from the camera to the object, the more it will be immersed in the "fog". This reduces the load on the computer.

Edge Style - style of lines (edges). You can choose whether to show them at all, or get by with only planes (it’s really inconvenient without them). Back Edges (key K) - show all lines, even those that are behind the planes. They will be displayed as a dotted line.

Face Style - the style of the planes. Possibility to choose a variant of their display: transparent planes, planes without filling, planes filled with color without texture, textured planes (default), monochrome. Leave by default.

We will not consider the Component Edit item for now, just like Animation.

The next tab is Camera . Let's go through the points.

Previous/Next - The previous/next position of the camera (your eyes on the model, so to speak).

Standard Views - standard views 3D models: top, bottom, right, left, etc.

Parallel Projection/Perspective/Two-Point Perspective – selection of the volume display option. Choose Perspective as the most realistic build.

Items Orbit, Pan, Zoom, Field of View, Zoom window, Zoom extents, Position camera, Walk, Look around are duplicated on the panel Large tool set:

Orbit - rotation of the 3D model around the point on the screen where you fixed the left mouse button. This function is also performed by default by pressing the mouse wheel. Hold down and move the mouse - the model rotates.

Pan - move the 3D model without rotation. You sort of grab it with your palm and pull.

Zoom - if, after selecting this tool, hold down the left key and start moving the mouse forward / backward, the model will increase / decrease the scale. The same function is performed by default by scrolling the mouse wheel.

Zoom window is a tool for selecting the area of the model that needs to be enlarged. The smaller the area you select, the larger the magnification will be. That is, the zone you selected will occupy the entire screen.

Field of view - not duplicated on the panel. It's hard to humanly explain what this function does. But if you try - it changes the field of view. That is, it changes its angle. It's easier to explain with pictures. 15 degree angle:

And here is 80 degrees:

Operating principle: select a tool, hold down the left key and move the mouse forward / backward. You can track the degree value in the status bar in the lower right corner of the program window.

Zoom extents - changes the scale of the model so that it fits on the screen.

Position camera – selection of the camera position on the model. When you select this tool, your cursor will take the form of a decile man, which can be placed anywhere in the model. In our example - in any room. And the subsequent view of the model on the screen will be the view from his "eyes". At the same time, his eyes are always located at a height of 168 cm from the floor. That is, it is like the eyes of a real person. Let his name be Vasya.

Walk - the function of "walking" through the model. Suppose we put our Vasya in the bathroom. By selecting the Walk tool, holding down the left key and moving the mouse, you can make it walk around the virtual apartment.

Look around is a model inspection tool. That is, Vasya stands in one place and turns his head.

Everything that is presented in the Draw tab is duplicated on the Large tool set.

Line - you won't believe it, the line. Click on the start point and end point, a line is drawn between them.

Arc - creating an arc. The arc is built in three clicks: the first two set the beginning and end, the third - the dimensions of the bend.

Freehand - freehand line.

Rectangle - a rectangle. The first click sets the starting point, the second - the end point along the diagonal.

Circle - draws circles. The first click determines their center, the second - the radius.

Polygon is an equilateral polygon. Having activated this tool, you will first need to set the number of its sides. To do this, simply press the corresponding number (number) on the keyboard and confirm the selection by pressing Enter. Then make the first click on right place on the model, thereby setting the geometric center of the figure. The second click sets the radius of the structure described around the polygon.

Can be set exact dimensions and the radius of all the figures described above. To do this, instead of the last click, simply type the desired size on the keyboard and confirm Enter key. The entered values will be displayed in the status bar at the bottom right. For a rectangle, you need to enter two values: length and width, separated by a semicolon. By default, all dimensions in the program are in millimeters. (Attention, in the demo file, for convenience, the dimensions are indicated in meters!)

Select is a selection tool. I don't think it's necessary to explain.

Eraser - eraser. Selecting it and clicking on an object will make it disappear.

Paintbucket is a tool for filling a plane with a color or texture.

Move is a tool for moving a component.

Rotate - rotation of the component around any of the three axes of space.

Scale - Changes the size of the component.

Push/Pull – a tool for pulling in/pulling object faces. With its help, it is convenient, for example, to model skirting boards. We set the shape of the section and pulled out a whole plinth from it. In the same way, you can pull it back.

Follow me is the same extrusion tool, but it follows a pre-selected path, not just a straight line.

Offset - so to speak, this is a tool that evenly “squeezes out” the selected plane beyond its boundaries:

Tape measure is a regular tape measure. Hold down the left key at the starting point and move the cursor to the end point. The length is displayed in the cursor area on the screen.

Protractor - square. Measures an angle in three clicks. The first click is at the top of the corner, the rest are on the sides.

Axes - axes. The tool allows you to set own system coordinates.

Dimensions - a tool for drawing dimensions. Works in three clicks. Two extreme points and the distance of the removal of dimensions.

Text is a captioning tool. By default, it immediately gives the value of the area of the plane or the length of the line:

3DText - allows you to place on the model bulk text. For example, using this tool, I counted the number of wallpapers for purchase, signed the numbers of the paintings. Here's what the 3D text looks like:

There are a few more items on the Tools menu, but we won't cover them, as we're unlikely to need them. Let's go to the next menu.

It's called Window . All items of this menu are responsible for calling a window.

Model info - information about the entire 3D model. Here you can also set its basic properties, for example, fonts, their size, display method dimension lines etc.

Entity info - properties of a specific model component. For a plane, this is the area, for a line, the length, for an arc, the radius and the number of segments, which can be changed. The fact is that SketchUp draws arcs and circles by default rather roughly, breaking them into small number segments. Through the properties of the arc, you can set any number of segments, so your figure will look much better. The Entity info window is also available by right clicking on an entity.

Materials - displays everything available colors and textures for filling. They can be added and edited.

Components - a library of ready-made components. Such as, for example, furniture, cars, etc. You can download components from the "cloud" Warehouses directly to your model. Let's say Opel Astra:

Styles - allows you to select styles for displaying the model. Pencil, marker, different thickness of lines and more. Purely indulge. We will omit Layers, Outlines, Scenes, I don't use them.

Shadows - opens a window for managing the time of day and the season of the year. Thus, it is possible to control the "natural" lighting in the model.

Fog - turns on the "fog" settings. The fog function itself has already been described.

Match photo - I haven't figured it out yet guys)

Soften Edges - softens the edges, more precisely creates the illusion of softened edges.

Instructor - Access SketchUp online help. It's just in English...

Preferences – basic program settings, such as model autosave time, graphics quality setting, model display template selection, etc.

Extension Warehouse is an online library of extensions for SketchUp. Whatever is not there, it’s better for you to dig and try something yourself, but at the later stages of mastering the 3D editor.

The rest of the Window menu items are of no use to you.

The Plugins menu will display the plugins you have installed, such as the VRay renderer.

Well, it remains for us to mention the Help menu, which traditionally contains help for the editor, an item for checking for updates, and information on your version of SketchUp.

Conclusion

This tutorial is only meant to introduce you to SketchUp 3D modeling software. My plans are to make a couple more lessons for a deeper study of the program's capabilities. I would like to devote one lesson to building a model of a specific room, and the second to the capabilities of the VRay 3D rendering plug-in. It is with its help that I get photorealistic images, such as at the beginning of the post.

To do these lessons or not - I will decide after analyzing your interest in this article. In any case, see you on the pages of the site! And don't forget to subscribe for updates! I'm still not blown away)))

Key features and functions

  • Edges and Faces: Each SketchUp model consists of only two things: edges and faces. Edges are straight lines, faces are simple two-dimensional shapes that result from the intersection of lines. For example, a rectangular face has four edges that are connected to each other at right angles. For building models in SketchUp, there are several basic tools that you will get acquainted with in a short time;
  • Push / Pull: quickly move from 2D to 3D: With the Push / Pull tool, you can quickly transfer any flat surface into a three-dimensional image. This is an option for creating 3D shapes and adjusting the object's thickness. Just click the button, hover over the mouse and click the button to stop. Thus, by drawing only the outline of the stairs, you can transfer it to 3D. Similarly, a window will appear in the wall. Push/Pull is the reason SketchUp is considered easy to use;
  • measurement accuracy: Since you are working on a computer, everything you create in SketchUp can be accurately measured. There are design tools for this. In addition, scale models can be printed on paper or exported to other programs such as AutoCAD and 3ds MAX;
