The tricolor gs 8306 prefix turns on. How to view the expiration date of a package subscription

If your GS 8306 receiver from Tricolor TV does not turn on, the reasons may be very different. Often, they are explained by the "banal" lack of power, due to the unstable - "wobbly" position of the plug in the socket, but sometimes, the "silence" of the receiver means there is a real technical problem. Below, we will try to find ways to make a device that suddenly failed to turn on.

Technical description

First of all, it should be emphasized that receivers of the GS 8300 series are a fairly common technique in the telecommunications system. Depending on the model, the receivers have some differences in characteristics and layout, but in principle, their designs are very unified. Let's start our acquaintance with the model 8306 we are interested in from the rear panel of the device. All outputs of the Tricolor receiver have letter designations, and this will greatly facilitate our task.

Let's understand the notation and functional rear panel outputs assignment:

If the Tricolor receiver hangs on a "black screen" or does not respond to the remote control, be sure to make sure the connections on the rear panel and the integrity of the supply cables.

The peculiarity of the "zero sixth" is that this receiver does not have a scoreboard where you can track it working condition... Instead, the functionality and malfunctions of the receiver can be identified thanks to indicator light signals on its front panel. Therefore, the purpose and operation of these signaling devices should be considered in more detail:

Of the receivers of the GS 8300 series, the GS 8305 and GS 8306 models are equipped with indicators. lineup, LED signaling devices are equipped with the GS b211 prefix. Notification about the operation of the device and its possible malfunctions in these receivers it happens in a similar way.

There are other reasons for the emergence of a situation when the Tricolor TV GS 8306 receiver does not turn on. Let's consider them in detail.

Information about the absence of a signal may indicate different reasons malfunctions. Let's consider the main ones:

Signal encryption or access restriction

The first thing to do in this case is to make sure that base package Tricolor. When some channels are working and others are not, it is usually the case in payment... Almost always, the TV company warns the subscriber about the expiration of the deadline. You can view your own balance in your Personal Account on the website of the service provider www.tricolor.tv. If everything is in order, try turning off and, after a while, turn on again. If it does not help, call the Technical Assistance.

Why the TV does not work with similar "symptoms" is sometimes explained by the lack of contacts in the smart card slot.

Reboot it, pull it out and insert it on former place... The technique works quite often.

Chaotic blinking of indicators

These signs indicate a failure in the software of the device or its failure. motherboard... Repair or reprogramming of the device involves costs minimum guarantee its subsequent productive functioning. In such cases, it is best to buy a new device.

Another reason could be breakdown of the power supply... This problem often happens with older models where the block is built into the receiver. In the GS 8306, it is located separately. Replacement with a new one can help.

Somehow it turns out that after last update firmware of the GS 8306 receiver up to version 1.9.160, the previously normally working receiver becomes somehow uncontrollable. If, of course, it becomes at all. Indeed, many receivers do not survive the flashing process to version 1.9.160 and stop turning on. The same receivers that have completed the firmware procedure are buggy on the new firmware in different ways. They can freeze while watching, freeze when switching channels, display a “no signal” message, display out-of-sync audio and video streams. And in general, to manufacture a number of other things dear to the heart. And having received such a receiver after reflashing, you can decide that it simply broke. But common sense dictates that it just worked fine on the old firmware, which means that the matter is not in the hardware component of the GS 8306 receiver.

What can happen to the GS 8306 receiver after updating to firmware ver. 1.9.160

1.tricolor tv receiver gs 8306 does not turn on after update

In such a situation, it can be assumed that the firmware was not completed to the end. It means that old firmware has already been erased, and a new one has not been loaded into the receiver's memory. In this situation, the receiver turns into a brick, as they say in slang. A similar problem It is solved either by replacing the receiver's motherboard (which is quite expensive and difficult to find a replacement board), or by flashing the receiver's flash memory chip separately with a new normal firmware. For execution separate firmware it is necessary to unsolder the GS 8306 receiver flash memory chip, then use the programmer to "fill" the flash with a new one required firmware and in the end, re-solder the flash microcircuit to the receiver board. In the presence of necessary equipment and experience of handling it, the whole procedure takes 50-60 minutes.

2.tricolor tv receiver gs 8306 does not show through hdmi

In the new firmware 1.9.160, the active video output control mode has been updated. If earlier the active video output on the receiver was selected using the "input. sing "on the remote control, pressing which alternately activated either 3RCA (tulip) or HDMI video output, now the receiver has learned to independently determine which video output to make active. But in order for the mechanism automatic detection active video output worked correctly. It is recommended to connect the 8306 receiver to the TV set with only one cable at a time. If both 3RCA and HDMI cords are connected at once, then the receiver may never understand which video output to activate.

Another important aspect is changing the operating mode. LED indication on the front of the receiver. Now the uniform illumination of the upper LED means that the receiver is in standby mode and to start viewing it, you still need to turn it on using the remote control (on firmware up to 1.9.160, the glow of the upper LED meant that the receiver is turned on and works through the 3RCA output)

3.the tricolor tv receiver gs 8306 produces a pink picture

There are videos on YouTube in which you can see how wonderful the picture looks from the gs 8306 in pink. This bug is related to the upgrade to 1.9.160. The problem is temporarily eliminated by resetting the receiver to the factory settings. re-search channels. But then it appears again. The problem is completely eliminated by flashing the receiver to a different software version.

4.tricolor tv receiver gs 8306 after firmware constantly freezes

The reason for this, presumably, is the same firmware. Which, presumably, has a greater load on the processor than the previous version. Elimination of this difficulty again leads to the need to replace the firmware.

5. the tricolor tv receiver gs 8306 after the firmware often loses the signal and writes no signal.

Also, the problem under consideration can be expressed in the fact that when searching for channels, a random number of channels is found, how lucky - the receiver can find 86 channels, after 140 minutes, and after another 57 minutes. Possible Solution in such a situation - changing the local oscillator frequency by 1 Mg up to a value of 10751 MHz (both the upper and lower frequencies of the local oscillator). On several receivers, we performed such an increase in frequency, after which the receiver began to work more stably, and the signal stopped losing.

What to do if the GS 8306 does not work, and there is not the slightest desire to repair or replace it with a new one?

In the event that only 20 basic federal channels, it will be possible to switch to the reception of digital terrestrial television. Reception of broadcasting digital terrestrial television is available in a large number settlements Russian Federation... As of December 1, 2016, digital terrestrial television broadcasted in open mode and its viewing is carried out without subscription fee... But it is important to understand that a satellite dish is not suitable for receiving digital broadcast signal, which means that for reliable signal reception, you will have to set the usual terrestrial antenna(internal or external), as well as purchase a digital DVB-T2 receiver (this is if there is no built-in one in the TV itself)

GS 8306 - how to return previous version Software after upgrade to 1 9 160

Rollback of the 8306 receiver software from version 1.9.160 to the previous version is possible only with the help of the programmer - the flash memory microcircuit containing the firmware is soldered, placed in the programmer, flashed with the selected firmware and soldered back to the receiver board. Roll back to previous versions with USB stick and the firmware will not be released on it - the new software does not allow updating to previous versions.

These are the accumulated considerations for the firmware 1.9.160 for the GS 8306 receiver on December 1, 2016 from the date of its birth - September 27, 2016.

What are the prospects for the GS 8306 receiver? To the landfill? For a replacement?

In the event that the developer releases a new corrected firmware for the GS 8306 receiver, the prospects of this receiver are no worse than those of other HD-class receivers for tricolor TV. On the need for release new firmware for the GS 8306, the specialists of our SC have already informed the technical support of the tricolor TV operator by phone. 8-800-500-0123. Other users of the tricolor TV can also do this. If new software for the receiver does not appear, then its operation may cause some difficulties.

Tricolor TV is one of the most large operators satellite TV In Russian federation. In addition to providing wide range services for the provision of television broadcasting, the Internet, the company is a distributor of equipment of its own production. Any technique, even the most High Quality, may be damaged due to wrong setting, operation, breakdown of components. The remote control is no exception. remote control(Remote control) Tricolor, in case of a breakdown of which the subscriber has to think about how to change or repair it.

Checking the remote

To check the operation of the remote control, you need to take a smartphone (turn on the "Camera" function), a camera or a video camera, point the remote control at the photographing device and press any button. If the device is in good working order, the flash of the LED will be visible through the camera lens. In this case, it is necessary to check the receiver itself for possible damage or incorrect connection.

The absence of flashes indicates that the Tricolor TV remote control is broken and something needs to be done to repair it.

Battery change required

The most elementary and common reason why the Tricolor receiver does not respond to the remote control is discharged batteries. The solution to the problem is to replace them.

Sometimes, opening the cover of the battery compartment, you can see that the batteries "leaked" and the power contacts are covered with rust. In this case, they get rid of the rust by cleaning the contacts and wiping them with alcohol.

Contamination of the remote control

During operation, liquid may get inside the remote control or it may become contaminated from frequent contact with human hands. The buttons gradually get dirty, the fat layer prevents the graphic coating and the rubber base from contacting normally with the buttons. As a consequence, it is necessary to apply force when pressing the button to switch.

To fix the problem, you need to learn how to disassemble the Tricolor remote control. First of all, you should get the batteries to prevent accidental activation of the receiver. If the halves just snap into place, then it is enough to open them using a screwdriver or any other thin object. When connecting parts with bolts, unscrew them with a screwdriver.

To clean the board, use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol (not cologne!). All parts, except for the board, must be washed with a brush and soapy water, dried thoroughly and assembled. If water gets into the device, it must be opened and dried.

Mechanical damage to parts

The remote control can be negatively affected mechanical damage received as a result of falling or striking hard objects. Therefore, if the remote control from the Tricolor console does not work, you should check its weak points.

Most often, the battery contacts on the board suffer from this. In case of blows, the soldering is destroyed and the contacts "go away". To eliminate the breakage, it is enough to solder them well. Another weak element is the infrared diode, which also disappears at the soldering points.

After a fall, quartz 455 kHz can also break off at the soldering point or break. It can be purchased at specialized radio stores or on radio markets.

The most severe breakdown is a board crack. It can not always be seen when visual inspection... Cracked copper tracks can be repaired by soldering. If the coal paths are cracked, then they cannot be restored.

Remote does not work after software update

Updating the software allows the subscriber to receive more quality reception TV channels, while often increasing the possibility of an extended search for TV broadcasting channels, and, consequently, their number.

Sometimes the Tricolor prefix does not respond to the remote control due to the loading of new software. In this case, it is necessary to follow the given algorithm:

  • it is necessary to simultaneously press the buttons "TV / RADIO" and "CHANNEL +", which are located on the receiver;
  • press the STANDBY button.

If the malfunction of the remote control was associated specifically with the installation new version Software, then after performing these actions normal work will be resumed.

The device is in special modes

If the Tricolor receiver does not respond to the remote control, which is in working condition, you should check the mode of its operation.

To avoid accidentally switching channels or other unwanted actions For example, by a child, the remote control can be protected by switching on "Standby mode". To return to the operating mode, press the STANDBY button.

There is also a button that is responsible for the "HDMI" mode. It is used when connecting special cable for this regime... Provided that the cable is not connected and the button is accidentally pressed, the Tricolor remote control will not switch channels. To cancel this mode, simply press the indicated button a second time.

Operation of the Tricolor set without a remote control

It is not possible to turn on and use the Tricolor equipment without a receiver remote control, since the remote control from the TV in in this case used only to turn it on and off.

You can switch Tricolor TV channels, use other necessary functions of the equipment, only with the help of the receiver and the supplied remote control.

If the Tricolor TV remote control stops working, the user has several ways to solve the problem. You can try to deal with the problem yourself by replacing batteries or faulty parts, cleaning. If the Tricolor remote control does not respond to the tuner in case of problems with software, you can contact your authorized dealer at telephone mode or personally and try to fix the problem. If all of the above actions did not lead to success, it becomes necessary to purchase a new remote control.

Description of the problem: Problem with new software. Receiver GS 8306B. Receiver software version 1.9, 160. CAS module software version: 4.0, 62.35_r. After updating the receiver, some problems arise, namely: when the receiver is turned on (to a 220V socket, turned on from the remote control), a picture appears with a pink tint, if off. incl. then the problem disappears. The same problem after switching on occurs with the sound, that is, there is no sound, and also after the receiver is switched off and on again, the problem disappears. Following. There is a refrigerator in the room, the work of the refrigerator is so arranged that it periodically turns on and off, but when a device is turned on, an energy surge occurs. In this case, the sound is muted, and the problem is again solved only after the receiver is turned off and on again. It's clear that you need to purchase a stabilizer, but I want to note that the equipment has been working for about three years without a stabilizer (why pay more if the old software did not have such problems. Next. After clicking on the Menu button, a list appears: Application; Search for tricolor TV; Status and so on; also after turning on the receiver for the first time and then turning on the Menu button, the ability to go to any tab (for example, "status") is not possible, the bullets simply do not respond, only to turn the receiver on and off, and how the problem always disappears. Next. Previously, on the old software, after entering any application, be it settings or the channel list, the panel disappeared if it was not used. But now the splash screen just appears. And only after pressing the remote control again, the splash screen disappears. Why is this? it was so convenient (It was also convenient when the entire menu panel or the channel list could be configured so that it would be transparent in a% ratio. that it became impossible. This is all I could notice so far. So the moral of this fable is that our new software is not stable. And I wrote this message so that you would listen, and fix the shortcomings and maybe finalize some of the nuances and settings. Thank you for attention! To which I received an answer.
