And if so, then immediately a number of questions arise. What you need to watch free IPTV on Android devices and where you can get access to playlists for free.

How to watch IPTV channels on Android devices

To get access to free viewing of IPTV channels, you need to use playlists (). First, the application is downloaded with which the IPTV is loaded. A player is installed on the device (we really like MX Player).

Now it's just a matter of choosing a suitable channel and uploading a file. But you can just make a copy from the playlist link. All that remains is to open the IP TV application on the TV box, tablet or smartphone. Here you need to specify the path to the file or enter the URL address.

The best apps for watching IPTV playlists on Android devices

To facilitate the choice of the program used to add playlists to TV channels, we decided to opt for those that are most often downloaded. After all, this is naturally an indicator of their popularity.

IPTV

Let's start with a program called IPTV. Users speak very well about her and she gets good marks from them. You can find two versions on the network: free and Pro, for which you will have to pay 79 rubles. The difference between the latter is the absence of advertising and the presence of several interesting functions. One of them is the launch of the application in automatic mode when the Android device is turned on. For TV set-top boxes, this is certainly convenient.

Another program with good recommendations is LAZY IPTV. Its distribution is carried out free of charge, despite the fact that it has a full set of features that allow you to comfortably view IPTV. The distinctive features include the simplicity of the interface, rich viewing history and the presence of a television program.

Kodi

Nowadays many Internet providers offer IPTV service. This is a new technology that enables efficient transmission of a television channel via the public Internet.

Unlike traditional forms of digital television such as satellite, terrestrial or cable, IPTV is an interactive service that operates exclusively on the Internet. And today you will learn how to set up IPTV on Android.

IPTV (from the English Internet Protocol Television) can be called a new generation of television with a technology that has no restrictions both in the number of channels and in the quality of the transmitted content. The capabilities of IP-television can be limited only by the bandwidth of the IPTV operator's network, as well as by the Internet provider, which provides Internet service to the end subscriber.

By connecting to IP-TV, you can watch TV broadcasts not only while sitting on the couch at home, but also in any place where you have a device for connecting to the Internet and, in fact, a network connection.

Television over the Internet protocol can be called broadcasting for one viewer, since it turns out that IPTV is an individual network, where everyone can choose content based solely on their desire.

Setting up IPTV on Android

There are many ways to watch IPTV. Now we will tell you how to do this through the IPTV application for Android devices, with which you can watch the IPTV of your Internet provider or other Internet source. Through this program, it is possible to download a playlist of available channels in m3u format, and then watch the selected channel through the video player installed on the device.

So, let's download the application. Installation field, customize it. To do this, open the program, go to "Settings", select "Channel List" and enter, provided by the provider, the Internet address of the file with the playlist:

So far, unfortunately, the program cannot load a playlist from the memory of an Android device, therefore, if we need to load our own playlist directly into the application, we can use the Dropbox service on our PC to do this, in order to then upload the file to the public library. ). After that, we get its address by copying it to the clipboard. What we do for this: right-click on the file and select the Copy Public Link item:

If your Wi-Fi router is equipped with a built-in UDP proxy, then this is, in fact, the whole setup procedure. That is, returning now to the main screen of the program, we can already select a channel from the list and watch its broadcast on a smartphone / tablet.

However, it is possible that viewing programs on IPTV may be accompanied by problems in the form of an image containing many artifacts or loss of video stream fragments. This most likely means that the used router does not have a UDP proxy. In this case, we will need to organize our own proxy. We will do this using any computer connected to the router using the LAN connector.

How to set up a UDP-to-HTTP proxy

First, you need to download the program (for Windows UDP-to-HTTP, for Linux). Now we launch the program and enter two addresses: “UDP-multicast interface”, as well as “HTTP-server interface”. We see that they are identical and also coincide with the IP-address of the network connection with which the PC is connected to the router. You can find it out by right-clicking on the network connection icon, and, if you have Windows 7, select: "Status" -> "Information":

If you have Windows XP, then select: "Status" -> "Support".

After the IP address is entered into the UDP-to-HTTP proxy, click the "Save" (or "Remember") button, and then, "Run".

Now, in the application, go to the settings menu, in the "Proxy settings" section, enter the IP address and port specified in the UDP-to-HTTP proxy, now select the type of proxy server (Linux or Windows) and activate the "OK" button:

The basic settings of the UDP-to-HTTP proxy application can be considered complete. If desired, for convenience, we can either select a specific video player for watching the video, or mark "Selected by the system", in this case, it will be possible to select the desired player every time you start watching the channel:

*Note:

  • So that every time you do not start the program on a PC for viewing, you can start it as a service by clicking the "Install" button in UDP-to-HTTP, then it will start automatically at the time of computer boot.
  • If the UDP-to-HTTP proxy does not start on your PC, you need to make sure that the application is not blocked by antivirus or firewall.

Happy viewing!

Today we will talk about how to set up IPTV viewing on a smartphone or tablet running Android OS. To do this, we need a special application - a player, it's called IPTV. You can find and install it on Google Play. Do this on your android through the search or use the QR code below.

There are several options for watching interactive TV on your smartphone or tablet:

  1. Free from open playlists.
  2. Using a connected service from your provider, for which you pay a subscription fee.

Get over 200 IPTV channels in Full HD quality from $ 4.5 per month. Including sports 50fps and strawberry. Connect! https://www.ottclub.cc

Depending on which option suits you, the process of entering application parameters will differ, so we will consider them separately.

Free, without connecting the service with the provider

In this case, we will use a playlist that contains free channels. Providers are constantly fighting this and closing loopholes, but since we suggest that you take the file with the list of channels from our site, we will try to constantly monitor its relevance.

Launch the installed IPTV application and click "Add playlist" - "Add URL".

Next, we suggest entering the URL of the file from our site, so it will be easiest for you. If you are a more advanced user and want to add your own channel list, then read the section "For advanced" below. And here we enter the following address: https: //site/iptv.m3u. Click "Ok" and see the list of channels. Our file contains about 250 channels.

If you try to watch any channel, you may expect a small surprise: a message stating that you do not have MX Player installed. For beginners, we advise you to simply click the "Install" button and select "Play Market" if the system asks what to use. The application page in Google Play will open, select "Install".

Now we select a channel and enjoy watching. If you encounter problems during playback, you need to configure a UDP proxy, as described at the end of the article. We also suggest that you familiarize yourself with the video instructions below.

For advanced

Firstly, it is not necessary to use MX Player to watch channels. You can go to the application settings and select another one in the "Video Player" item or provide a choice to the system.

Second, you don't have to use our playlist URL. You can use your own, for this you have 2 options:

  1. Create a folder on the flash drive, put a list of channels in m3u format in it and additionally create an empty file named ".nomedia" there so that Android does not delete our file after disconnecting from the computer. And in the application, instead of "Add URL", you need to click "Select file", and you will see your channel list file.
  2. Add a playlist file to Dropbox in a public folder and right-click on it to copy a public link to it.

Service from provider

If you have a home interactive television service connected, and you would like to use this service on Android, then you also need to install the player application, as described above, only the playlist URL or the file itself should have been provided by your provider. It is also a prerequisite that your device is connected to the network of the provider that provides this service. In other words, it is connected via WiFi to a router that is connected to the provider's network.

UDP proxy

On many android devices, for normal operation of the application, you must use a UDP proxy, which allows you to view the so-called multicast streams. Below is a table with a list of gadgets on which the proxy requirement has already been tested and known.

PC program

There are a small number of routers that natively support UDPxy. But basically, in order to get this function working in them, their firmware and so on are required, which goes far beyond the scope of a beginner. Therefore, the best solution is to install a special UDP-to-HTTP Proxy program on a computer connected to the same network as your device.

Download the program for Windows from the UdpProxy link, unzip and run. The program will automatically detect the multicast interface, select the same HTTP server interface. The value of these two fields corresponds to the IP address of your computer on the network. If you have any doubts about the correct value, find out the address of your PC on the network and compare. How to find the IP address of a computer on a local network? Yandex or Google will tell you.

IPTV is an application for watching TV programs, films and series on Android. You can watch both the IP-television of your Internet provider, and use the available network sources by downloading an additional list of available TV channels.

Opportunities

IPTV has the following features:

  • simple interface with a minimum of settings;
  • support for playlists in xspf and m3u format;
  • display channels as a tile, list or grid.

The player itself does not contain any channels and is a tool for viewing them. To use it, you need to find playlists in xspf or m3u format. You can get them in the following ways:

  1. Get it from the IPTV provider you are using.
  2. Find on the Internet on proven specialized resources.
  3. If you have one of the IP players on your computer, the channel list can be taken from there.

Getting started with the player

You need a good player to display videos. Usually, it is already on the phone, but it is recommended to install it for correct playback of content - it works stably and without interruptions.

The interface is minimalistic - the upper bar contains a settings menu, a search bar and a choice of how to display channels. Depending on the set playlist, TV channels can be divided into thematic groups:

  • news;
  • cinema;
  • children;
  • sport;
  • music;
  • education and others.

To view a channel, you need to click on its name. Often users are faced with such a problem as the inability to display a video. This is due to the fact that playlists do not "live" for long, sometimes no more than a month. In this case, you need to update files or find new URLs. You can install any number of playlists - they do not interfere with the correct operation of the player.

To quickly launch your favorite content, you can configure the start page to display your favorite channels. With the help of IPTV for Android, you can watch TV programs on your smartphone or tablet and get additional information about films and series.

We continue to review applications on android devices. In general, the choice in this segment is not rich, since there are very few high-quality, interesting and free programs. But even among them there are those that deserve attention in the first place. Well, in the end, we will traditionally summarize.

Let's start with a couple of programs without which this cycle would be incomplete. The first of them - Lazy IPTV - will appeal to those who do not trust various services and do not want to overpay. Fortunately, it is designed for watching TV through playlists. The second, Bizon TV, at first glance, looks like a good application with a large number of TV channels and a low price.

Let me remind you that we started the previous review with the popular and high-quality SPB TV application. The second participant of that material, PeersTV, surprised us with its functionality, because thanks to him you can get into the future. But seriously, this is a good and practically free service for those who are not picky about the popularity of channels. And the article ended with a simple application for watching TV called RoTV.

The test equipment was a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 tablet (CM 12.1 based on Android 5.1 OC, ART runtime, TI OMAP 4430 processor, 2 x 1200 MHz, PowerVR 540 384 MHz video processor, 1 GB of RAM) and a Xiaomi Redmi Note smartphone ( Miui V7 on OS Android 4.4.2, Dalvik runtime, MediaTek MT6592 processor, 8 x 1700 MHz, Mali-450 MP4 700 MHz video processor, 2 GB of RAM).

Lazy IPTV

Acquaintance

Not all users are ready to pay for legal content, watch only regional television and be limited to meager TV channel packages. And since we are still more advanced users, why should we collect a list of Internet channel addresses (or download a ready-made one)?

It remains only to find an application for playing IP channels. Lazy IPTV is just such a client. Next, you will find out how the setup takes place and how it is doing with the functionality.

Demonstration of Lazy IPTV:

Key features of the Lazy IPTV app:

  • Support for m3u / xspf playlists (in open form or in zip / gz archives), the ability to add playlists from the device's file system, from the Internet or clipboard;
  • Ability to play not only http and udp iptv streams, but also vk video / YouTube links;
  • Playing Internet radio playlists through the built-in player;
  • Support for multiple udp proxies, with the ability to switch directly when working with a playlist;
  • Support for the ability to auto-update the playlist, as well as the ability to use the cache when it is unavailable;
  • Support for several TV programs (in xmltv format, in open or zip / gz archives) with the ability to switch between different TV programs directly when working with a playlist;
  • TV program source presets, currently available sources: 3 exUssr, 2 Italy, 1 UK (World), 1 Espany, 1 Germany;
  • Ability to download TV programs from the device;
  • Flexible organization of the main (overview) window in the form of tiles, which provides the ability to place playlists and the most frequently used channels on it, as well as access to the basic functions of the application with the ability to sort tiles;
  • Favorites, with support for subfolders, grouping of the same channels from different playlists;
  • Channel browsing history;
  • Various views of playlists: list (maximum functionality), icons or tiles, memorable for each playlist separately;
  • The ability to flexibly search for a channel in a playlist or TV program;
  • Possibility to associate an undefined channel of a playlist with a template one to obtain information from a TV program;
  • Export of playlists and favorites to a file in various formats;
  • Backup / restore application data (playlists, favorites, history, settings);
  • TV program program reminders;
  • Search for channels in all playlists;
  • Register-independent TV program search;
  • Various color schemes;
  • The parental control system (activated through the settings) allows you to block access to both playlists and individual channels.

Beginning of work

The main screen of Lazy IPTV is presented in the form of icons, each of which is responsible for a specific function or opportunity and access to it. The first icon is Favorites, followed by History, TV Program Sources, Playlist Manager, New Playlist, Reminders, Channel Search and Program Search.

I don't think it's worth explaining what this or that function means, since everything is already perfectly clear. If you swipe to the right, then a panel with all the above icons will open, only located in the form of a list and in a more convenient form.

For example, the first time I managed to find and download a playlist for more than 200 channels without any problems. There are paid, and free, and renewable IPTV "packages" (Runet is a lot of imagination!).

Let's say the playlist is downloaded, you need to "install" it in Lazy IPTV. To do this, go to the "New playlist" category, and then either select a file from the device's memory, or insert a link to a playlist from the Internet, or create an empty playlist and fill it with links to channels.

After this manipulation, our playlist can be found in the "Playlist Manager", bring it to the main screen and use it. When you open any playlist, we will see a list with channels, next to each of them will be displayed the on-air program and the duration line.

We click on any of the channels and we can enjoy watching. It is worth warning that Lazy IPTV does not contain a preinstalled player, so you need to get one.

Video players are already preinstalled on almost all devices running Android OS, but if it does not suit you, then you can install another one, and which one - ours will tell you on this topic.

By the way, for any channel you can view the program for the coming days, change the icon, edit the name, delete, copy, send and much more. The most interesting of this list of functions is broadcasting the channel to our TV, which is extremely simple. Naturally, for this it must have DLNA support and be connected to the same network as the mobile gadget.

Now let's talk about additional functions, of which there are a lot of Lazy IPTV. And we'll start with the program guide. Do you want to see her? To do this, the program must be downloaded. Fortunately, the application already has sources, we only need to update the data.

The program has a search for channels and TV shows. The first option is a familiar thing, but the second is a very useful function. For example, we know that there is such and such a show now, but we do not know the channel - we enter the name of the program, and voila!

What else is there in Lazy IPTV? Wizard playlist manager, which allows you to import and edit playlists in every possible way in order to get the perfect option with the necessary channels. Do we know that there will be an informative broadcast tomorrow? Let's create a reminder, one click - and at the specified time the program will notify us.
