Receiving equipment tricolor 211 to record the film.

Let's talk about the ts format, simply because it is difficult to reproduce them in other devices.

Here is the fact that the recorded video sometimes needs to be removed from the receiver's drive and then played back to another device.

Satellite receivers offer the ability to record television and radio so called PVR function. Such records are usually downloaded in transport stream format .ts

Unfortunately, such recordings often contain errors or incompatibilities that cannot be played on other devices without problems.

TS is the multiplexing of audio and video data and synchronization of their output. Those. the main purpose is broadcasting over data transmission networks.

For these purposes, a lot of service information is stored in the container (your record). For example, with a volume of ~ 35Gb, the service information will occupy ~ 2.5Gb.

The stream is broadcast in packets of 188 bytes, which contain all the necessary service information (flags, headers, identifiers, synchronization data, etc.).

And the m2ts packet is no longer 188 bytes, but 192 bytes. Timecode information is added for the organization random access to the stream.

But we do not need this at all, and therefore, in order to use the recorded file on the receiver in other devices, such as a computer, TV (from a flash drive), etc., we will have to process or modify the whole thing.

Actions…

You can convert the ts format to another video format, or use a suitable player that will play the ts format well. I have the extracted file ts. perfectly reproduced without problems Media Player Classic-HC v.1.6.2.4485.

You can do that, the simplest and always worked, just change the ts extension to mkv in the file name. For example, on the amiko shd8900 receiver, the path to the ts file:

Storage - c - pvr - @ fail.ts

And then we select our ts. drag and drop to the desktop using FileZilla. And this, Friends, is one of the best free FTP managers to help you download and upload files from FTP servers. The program has a convenient and pleasant interface, there are many supported languages, as well as a variety of settings and capabilities.

TsRemux.

TS normalization (REC) to TS. It doesn't even require installation, just save it somewhere and display the shortcut on the table. TS (REC) files are repackaged into TS, M2TS, BDA (blu-ray) formats.

No pinching, change from source file not happening, just changing the packaging container (from TS / REC to BDA).

Naturally, all audio streams are saved, incl. and multichannel sound! (don't forget to include the output file)

A few words about other formats:

A container that is the standard for MPEG-4. Has limitations: it cannot contain video in formats: WMV, MPEG1, MPEG2, and cannot contain sound in formats: AC3, MP2, WMA.

Matroska(this is how it is written in English Russian word Matryoshka) is a project aimed at creating an open flexible cross-platform (including hardware platforms) standard for multimedia container formats and a set of tools and libraries for working with data in this format.

This project is a development of the MCF project, but significantly differs in that it is based on EBML (Extensible Binary Meta Language) - the binary analogue of XML.

Using EBML allows you to expand the format without losing compatibility with older programs.

Format features included in Matroska:

1.streaming over the Internet ( HTTP protocols and RTP);
2. fast rewind in a file;
3. resistance to errors;
4. splitting the file into chapters;
5.switching on the fly subtitles (with the ability to add your fonts directly to the container - without the need for them separate installation in OS);
6. switchable audio tracks;
7. modular expandability;

It should be noted that the audio / video container project does not include video compression formats and codecs (such as MP3 or JPEG).

This is a packaging that may contain big number streams of audio, video, subtitles and other media data (pictures, fonts, etc.), allowing the user to store several versions of the movie in one file and play it with a multimedia player in the required configuration.

Matroska is open project(open standard). This means that for personal use it is absolutely free, and data sheet The bitstream format is available to anyone, even companies wishing to build support for the format into their products (this requires a special license).

The source code of all libraries created by the Matroska project team is distributed under the LGPL (a playback library written in C using integer arithmetic is also distributed under the BSD license).

Matroska is a direct open source alternative to AVI, ASF video, MOV, RealMedia, MP4, MPG containers. There is support for adapting and implementing the Matroska libraries for OpenBeOS Mediakit and GStreamer (a GNU / Linux OS multimedia environment similar to Microsoft DirectShow for Windows) and a set of DirectShow filters for playing and creating Matroska files on Windows.

Microsoft released the first package Video for Windows for the operating room Windows systems 3.1 in November 1992, and since then AVI format(Audio Video Interleave) is the main storage for video in operating systems Windows family.

The main advantage of the universal AVI format(and, by the way, the "secret" of its longevity), in contrast to streaming formats such as MPEG, and even more so from such specialized varieties as MP3 (MPEG Audio Layer 3), is that there are practically no "standard" AVI files :

AVI is actually nothing more than a "container" that contains general description content in a standardized way.

Thus, AVI files only look the same on the outside, but inside they can be very different, and while MPEG, MP3 and MJPEG files contain streams of only a certain type of compression (compression), AVI can contain many different types compression in any combination.

However, it will be possible to work with an AVI file only as long as the required codec is available for encoding / decoding. A serious disadvantage of the AVI format is that audio and video clips do not contain any time stamps or frame indices.

The data is time-ordered sequentially, in the order of arrival. An application for capturing or playing a video must take care of the synchronization of video and audio streams.

But if dividing the video into frames is completely natural, then the sound is a continuous stream, which has to be artificially divided into fragments corresponding to the frames (because of this, accurate synchronization of the image and sound is often absent and the sound can 'diverge' from the image).

In the simplest case, each video frame corresponds to a piece soundtrack, but not all AVI files are made according to this simple scheme.

The lack of timestamps has been eliminated in the AVI format extension - OpenDML AVI(then supported in DirectShow and ActiveMovie), which adds new chunks at timestamps.

The container has long been outdated and still does not want to retire, and the overwhelming majority of media content on the network is still distributed in it.

Minuses:

1. For each chain of AVI file, 24 bytes are lost for headers and index. This results in a loss of just over 5MB / hour.

2. Only fixed frame rate content can be saved. Those. it is not possible to put mixed material into AVI, for example, a mixture of NTSC video and film material. In fact, there are hacks that allow you to store variable fps content in an AVI, but they increase the (already large) redundancy by five times or more and are therefore impractical.

3. Audio in AVI files must be either constant bitrate (CBR) or constant frame size (ie all frames are decoded to the same number of samples).

4. AVI is unable to distinguish between P-frame and B-frame. Not included in the specification. DivX / Xvid solve this problem by bypassing the spec, which is also not very good and can cause problems.

5. The AVI container was created to work through the VfW (Video for Windows) interface and VirtualDub is a program that uses exclusively VfW. Since VfW is heavily outdated and not flexible, modern programs use DS (DirectShow). Programs using DS work great with containers for DS sharpened, but with VfW there are problems in the form of discrepancies between audio and video tracks. Therefore, you should not use programs that do not work through VfW to work with AVI files.

6. There is no support for modern codecs.

In one word, KNOW:

To view video in OGM, MKV (matroska), MOV, FLV, MP4 and ts. you need to download and install the codecs package and the player that supports these new formats.

One of best solutions- K-Lite Mega package Codec Pack, which can be downloaded from the official website: //www.codecguide.com/download_mega.htm.

It includes a Media Player Player Classic and required codecs for all modern formats. And there will be joy in your home collection of video films!

Good luck Friends!

Every user satellite TV knows that for comfortable use you need a high-quality receiver in order to receive a reliable and stable signal, the picture was filled with colors, and you could use the recording function for later viewing in replay.

Market diversity

A number of devices are available for Tricolor customers: GS-6301 HD, GS E521L, GS B532M, GS E502 and others with similar functions and characteristics.

  • The GS-6301 HD has a number of features that make it worth taking a look at this digital satellite receiver... Standard and high definition (HD) signals are available for the device. The user can use the electronic TV guide (EPG) and a number of optional functions, including the ability to record broadcasts, open TV mail and TV chat. Recording is made on removable USB or another memory card with the system DRE access... There are functions that are not typical for receivers: go online, watch news of interest or listen to music.
  • Another GS E521L has two tuners and a built-in Wi-Fi module... Thanks to this, the user has the opportunity to simultaneously view two different broadcasts on a TV and a smartphone (tablet) with using Wi-Fi... Instead of a smartphone, for a different signal, you can use a second TV with a client receiver to decode the signal. There is also a USB connector here.

Other dedicated fixtures have a number of similar functions and are in no way inferior to their counterparts.

Recording and playback

Modern receivers with the ability to record video have internal hard drives to store recorded broadcasts or the user can use an external one. Service PVR makes it possible to save the broadcast, and for convenience there is a timer, which greatly simplifies the recording process. You just need to set the time intervals that should be saved to the hard drive.

It is thanks to the built-in hard disk you can watch the broadcasts in the future. But, the user should worry about how to open the file recorded on the Tricolor receiver on the computer. To do this, you need to install the AVTOxor2.6 program on your computer, which will recode video to TS format. After that, you need to open the resulting file in the video player and it will be possible to watch the recording.

In the new Tricolor TV GS B211 and B210 receiver, recording channels to a USB flash drive is available initially, unlike GS U510, which required activation of the recording function before use.

First, you need to prepare a USB flash drive, for this we install it into the USB connector on the receiver and go to the DISK menu.

In this menu, we format the medium by selecting the FORMAT button.

We destroy all data without hesitation.

Depending on the size of the USB stick, it will take some time to format, after which a message about readiness will appear.

The flash drive is ready.

There are several ways to record channels. The easiest is to press the record button on the remote control in the right moment and then a stop button when you decide to finish.

However, this process can be automated by setting the recording timer. To do this, go to the RECORDINGS item of the main menu.

The section "Timers" contains information about the set recording timers, while it is empty, now we will create a new timer. To do this, select this item with the OK button.

On the next screen, we expose required channel, start time and end time of recording and click SAVE.

Now we have a new item in the list of timers.

Second way automatic recording this is TV guide programming. This method is the most convenient because you just need to select the desired transfer from the list, recording will start automatically at the beginning of the transfer and end upon its completion. Go to the TELEGIDE item of the main menu.

Go to the desired channel in the list and then to the broadcasting grid in the TV guide.

By clicking the OK button on the right movie or the transfer, a description of the program will open. Here we see the RECORD item, switch it to ON and save by selecting the OK button.

A bell appeared in front of our program, which means that it has been recorded.

Editing the channel list, organizing channels.

I hasten to upset those who want to move the channels in order to arrange them in the order they need, do it with standard list impossible.

But it is not all that bad. First, there is the ability to change the order of the channel categories so that your movie or sports channels were at the top of the list. To do this, go to the CHANNEL EDITOR item of the main menu.

Then we drag her to Right place and press the red button again. The category is now locked in a new position.

Secondly, it is possible to create your own group of channels and add them there in the desired order. To do this, go back to the CHANNEL EDITOR and press the green button on the remote to create a new category.

We call it at our discretion and save it with the blue button.

Now by clicking OK on the created category, a list of channels will open, where you need to place a checkmark on the necessary ones.

When finished, all the selected channels will be in new category in the selected order.

Editing the list is completed, select the newly created group and enjoy the viewing.
