When compiling a weather forecast, employees of weather centers use computers: they accumulate all the information from weather balloons and weather stations in space, this data is processed and compared with the weather that has happened on our planet over the past hundreds of years.

Using computers, people can predict earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, tornadoes and tornadoes. Knowing these forecasts, rescuers can evacuate the population from dangerous areas and thus save people's lives.

People have found uses for computers in medicine. Using computers, doctors can examine the patient, establish an accurate diagnosis and give recommendations for treatment.

Flights into space would generally be impossible without computers. After all, a huge number of calculations must be made so that the spacecraft can leave the Earth. You know that people have launched spaceships to the Moon, and to Mars, and even beyond the solar system. Scientists use computers to process signals coming from other galaxies. Scientists believe that we are not alone in space, and that someday we will be able to establish contact with our brothers in mind.

    development and debugging of new programs, both for personal computers and micro devices;

    maintenance of technical equipment that uses electronic devices;

Currently, computers are being introduced into all areas of human activity. Anyone should be able to find the necessary information on the Internet, send and receive electronic messages over the Internet, correctly draw up electronic documents, and be able to use remote support from various institutions. Many specialists now need to work well on a computer, so modern students learn to work on a computer in schools.

According to Russian legislation, information security of children is a state of protection of children in which there is no risk associated with information, including information distributed on the Internet, causing harm to their health, physical, mental, spiritual and moral development (Federal Law of December 29, 2010 No. 436-FZ "On the protection of children from information harmful to their health and development").

Such protection for the child should be provided, first of all, by the family and the educational organization (hereinafter referred to as the School).

To increase the level of awareness of students and their parents about modern information threats, computer science lessons, classroom hours, a training course, competitions and competitions were held, and booklets were distributed.

During thematic classes, teaching staff drew students' attention to the importance of ensuring information security on the Internet. The teaching staff introduced the children to the rules for selecting information on the Internet and told them how to behave competently and safely on social networks. During class hours, we used presentations, videos, and organized communication.

As part of extracurricular activities, students in grades 5-11 were invited to take the “Internet Security” training course on the website stepic.org, where the children saw what dangers can be encountered when working on the Internet and were tested to test their knowledge of information security. This independent activity turned out to be very effective in developing information literacy.

In order to form a clear understanding of the rules of behavior on the Internet, a drawing competition was held with students of grades 1-4, teaching workers of the fine arts, and a short story competition with students of grades 5-11, teaching workers of the Russian language and literature. Booklets and “Safe Internet” leaflets were distributed. In computer science lessons, students became acquainted with the culture of responsible, ethical and safe use of information technology.

My friend is a computer.

It is unlikely that in our time you can find a person who has never dealt with a computer. About fifteen years ago he was not in every family, but today his absence is more likely to cause surprise. Personally, I can hardly imagine ordinary life without a computer. This is an assistant for both adults and children. A keeper of a large amount of useful information, as well as a means of communication and acquiring new knowledge. Plus, computer games are one of the fun ways to spend time.

I dreamed of my own computer for a very long time. And finally, a year ago my dream came true - they bought me a laptop! “Hurray, dreams come true!” - that was the first thought when I saw him. Happiness knew no bounds, but then I didn’t know that the computer would become my friend. Of course, my acquaintance with it was traditional: I downloaded a dozen games and played, played, played. My parents told me that I was constantly stuck on it, and later I began to distribute my time working with the laptop more rationally. After all, you can’t live on computer games all the time; a lot of time is spent on lessons, school, and household chores, and meeting friends not “online” is much more pleasant. Well, if you don’t control yourself at all, you can spend all your time playing on the computer. My computer does not disappoint me and does not let me down. He has a remarkable ability to act quickly, and this saves time and effort. He helps you type texts, underlines bad phrases, checks spelling errors... He is simply an irreplaceable friend!

Sometimes I think: “What will happen if all the computers on earth disappear?” Most likely, people would feel difficult, or rather unusual. If I need some information, then how easy it is to find it on the Internet! If my friend is sad, then you can always chat with him on Skype and cheer him up at any time! And the films! And the music! Everything is publicly available, there is no need to buy discs in the store. From all this we can conclude that I have more free time and this is not unimportant. And knowledge of basic office programs will definitely come in handy in life.

I believe that every thing has its pros and cons, but my computer is all pros!

To study the problem of security on the Internet and the attitude of students at the School to it, class teachers of grades 5-11 conducted a survey (+test) of students. The proposed questionnaires allow us to analyze the current situation in the educational environment.

Analysis of the questionnaires showed that

98% of students have free access to the Internet through various devices (cell phone, home computer) and spend more than 2 hours a day on the Internet;

96% of students use computers and the Internet mainly for educational purposes, 2% only for games and online communication;

96% of students do not disclose personal information about themselves or their family, they try to follow the rules of the “Safe Internet”, but there are also those guys who consider social networks not dangerous.

As part of the “Information Security Week,” students acquired new knowledge about Internet threats, learned to distinguish and prevent their consequences, and protect themselves and their loved ones from them.

  • A modern desktop computer usually consists of several devices. The main part of any PC is system unit. Used to display computer information monitor, and to enter information and control the computer - keyboard and mouse. In addition, you can connect many additional devices to your computer.

  • The computer mouse was invented in the 1960s by American engineer Douglas Engelbart. It actually looks like a mouse (hence its name).
  • Some modern mouse models use light rather than a ball to transmit movements. Such mice are called “optical”.

A protocol is pre-agreed rules for transferring data between two devices. The main parameters described by the protocol include the type of error checking used, the method of compression (compression) of information (if any), the method by which the transmitting device determines the end of the transmission, and the method by which the receiving device determines whether the message has been received.

The IP protocol defines the packet format and addressing scheme. What is an IP address?
