Mail service unsubscribe. How to unsubscribe from mailings and SMS from different services

Hello, friends! The question of how to unsubscribe from all subscriptions is important for my readers and students. Why? Their mailboxes are overloaded, which makes it difficult to work fruitfully. This article will focus specifically on how to unsubscribe from mailing lists to Yandex mail and Mail.ru

Email overload

Being engaged in information business, teaching people, I faced such a phenomenon as the overload of mailboxes of my students. Sometimes a person shows you his mail, and there are thousands of unopened letters, not to mention that the owner of the mail was clearly not going to open and read them. Why is this situation happening. Every day a large number of letters come to our mail, in which some kind of information products or earning systems are offered.

Suppose we liked something, we enter our e – mail address, automatically follow the link, confirming the subscription, and receive the material we liked by mail. Everything is fine. But then we wanted to get a specific article or book, and that's it. And since we have confirmed the subscription, a stream of letters from this author begins to arrive in our mail. And thus, a huge number of letters accumulates that we did not plan to receive at all. And when I asked the question why you don’t refuse this mailing list, since it doesn’t interest you, it turned out that many users simply don’t know how to unsubscribe from mailing lists.

In this regard, let's look at specific situations for Yandex and Mail. Currently, these two mail services are very relevant and in demand. The blog already had an article "" by unscrupulous authors on Gmail, you can read this article.

How to unsubscribe from all Yandex mail subscriptions

So friends. There are two types of mailings - these are those that we subscribed to ourselves and forgot to simply refuse such mailing in time if we do not need it. In this case, everything is very simple. Each such mailing list has an unsubscribe button.

Feel free to select the necessary items and press the button Refuse... Everything is very simple and intelligent.

There is another reason for the "clutter" of the mailbox. These are spam mailings. That is, you didn’t subscribe to the newsletter, but it flows endlessly and the buttons “ Unsubscribe»In such mailings there is no. After all, the expectation is that a person will buy something or pay for the dishonest idea of making money quickly on the Internet. In this case, what to do, how to unsubscribe from mailing lists to Yandex mail.

In this case, we will have to blacklist the unscrupulous author.

To do this, go to the mailbox settings, the gear type button in the upper right corner, and select Mail processing rules in the settings panel.

A window for setting the rules will open, but we will be interested in the Black List.

Add the e-mail address of the author we are tired of in the field and click the Add button. That's it, now you can breathe easy. This author will not bother you anymore. By the way, you can get rid of annoying fans or ill-wishers in the same way.

Thus, using clear and uncomplicated Yandex mailbox tools, you protect your mail space.

Now let's look at the features of how to unsubscribe from mailings to mail.ru mail. Why will we consider only the features? It's just that the general scheme is exactly the same as in Yandex mail.

In the case when we want to unsubscribe from a mailing list that we subscribed to by mistake or it has become irrelevant to us, the algorithm is the same that we considered for mail on Yandex. We go to our mail.ru mail, go to the Inbox folder, open the letter from the mailing list or subscription that we want to delete, go to the end of the letter and click the link or the button cancel subscription.

In the case when there is no such button, that is, there is no way to refuse mailing or from an annoying respondent, in the mail.ru mailbox it is possible to install a filter on this email address.

Let's consider the algorithm of work. Go to the Inbox folder and mark the mail that we want to block. Then click the MORE button on the toolbar and select the CREATE FILTER command from the drop-down menu.

The system will move us to the page New filter.

We see the mail that we marked in the upper right corner. Then we press the switch “Delete forever” and do not forget “ Save»This filter.

The mail to which we installed the filter has moved to this folder. If you suddenly change your mind and want to receive letters from this author again, you can turn off this filter with one click.

So, friends, you now know how to unsubscribe from mailing lists on mail.ru

Conclusion

I think, friends, you now know exactly how to protect yourself from spam or from your own inattention, how to get rid of annoying and unnecessary emails, in a word, how to unsubscribe from mailings to Yandex mail and mail.ru.

Keep your mailboxes in order, revise unnecessary mailings and useless emails in time. Junk mail is just as bad for success and health, for new ideas and for making money, like garbage in an apartment and old things in a closet. Good luck friends!

Best regards, Ivan Kunpan.

Many good email addresses have been lost as the spam gets so massive that it's easier to simply close the account or not use it again. If you love your email address and all your friends from school know it, don't give up! While some people think that opt-out might just encourage spammers, it might still be worth a try if you have an account that you really want to “save”.

Steps

Remember, the key to cleaning up your inbox is patience. We've all experienced this. It is very frustrating to search through 150 messages in your inbox just to find one letter you have been looking for for so long. Spam filters - better than ever, but on the contrary, so is junk mail. The following steps will help you "clean up" your crowded inbox once and for all. Don't be fooled - it won't happen overnight, but after a while, saving your old mailbox will become quick and easy.

    Log in to your email.

Highlight unwanted emails. Hold the left button and move all your unwanted emails to the "Junk E-Mail" tab.

Consider junk mail. You have probably noticed trends (repetitions of information) in the "Sender" and "Subject" fields. Sometimes a lot of junk mail items come from the same sponsor or company. Email that tends to repeat the subject line, letter for letter, is a good example of this type of email. It's important to note these trends for the next step.

    • Choose 5-10 emails. You select these emails as the "target" letters for today's round of "unsubscribe." You can choose more emails if you have more time, or just 2-3 emails if you don't receive a lot of spam. Either way, your goal is to start solving the spam problem, not ignore it and hope it "goes away."
  1. Delete everything else. Well, you can save them if you like - but really, what are you going to use them for? It's easier to start with a clean folder every time you complete the unsubscribe rounds.

Unsubscribe. This step is important. People who send emails with persistent requests are required to follow the same rules as most telemarketers. This means that if you do not want to receive their messages, you must tell them about it. Therefore, they are required to stop sending spam to you. Open one of your junk mail messages. Usually unsubscribe is located at the very bottom of the email, where most people never look. It is very rare that you will receive an email without the opt-out option attached below. There are two ways most companies will ask you to unsubscribe:

    • E-Mail Removal Form - Click on the provided unsubscribe unsubscribe link and a small page will appear asking for your email address. Just enter your email address in the field and click "submit" or "unsubscribe me" or whatever the button says. These forms will never ask for your name or any other personal information. If they do, do not enter any information, close the window and go to the next spam. Many unsolicited emails come with two unsubscribe links - one for a specific ad and one for a large company - that will likely unsubscribe from many ads.
    • "Reply" Removal - Some emails do not have an unsubscribe link, but instead asks you to unsubscribe by replacing an email with a word (eg "unsubscribe") or phrases (like "no thanks") in the subject line ). Just follow the instructions. I have heard people say that responding to these requests confirms that your address is valid (opening the gate for additional spam), however, I have never received follow-up email or any other correspondence from any company that I unsubscribed from by this way.
  2. Wait. Most mailing list removal requests take 24-48 hours to process. Some of them are immediate, while some of them may take longer. I would suggest to wait 3-5 days and in that time just delete all incoming junk mail as you normally would. This will protect you from accidentally unsubscribing from the same company twice. After using the "unsubscribe" tool provided in email, there is no reason to keep it and you can uninstall it as usual.

After two rounds of unsubscribing, you should notice a significant decrease in the amount of spam you receive. Unsubscribing from just one spam distributor can cut your spam load by as much as four junk emails a day! That's almost 30 erroneous bits of trash a week! After you've gotten to the point where your mail is managed again, you can unsubscribe from the junk mail you receive.

If you continue to receive emails even after trying to unsubscribe from the service, you can take additional measures, such as presenting the mail as "spam" to your email provider, or adding the sender or sender's domain to your "blocked" list ( "Locked").

  3. With a little time and patience on your part, it will be possible to fix your mailbox. Decide to stop ignoring the problem and start fixing it. Now, just unsubscribe from the newsletter as soon as it arrives, and your mailbox will be clean!

    • If you are trying to get information from sites that require an email address, try entering [email protected] or a similar one, not your email address. By entering non-existent email addresses you do not need to register and forward.
    • There are tools to help you opt out of unwanted emails. Such as http://www.unsubscribe.com. (There was a message on October 20, 2013 that the site "unsubscribe.com" is no longer active.) They will add a button to your email client that will look for the best method to remove unwanted email. Another tool is http://unlistr.com, which navigates your inbox, provides you with a list of your subscriptions and allows you to check and unsubscribe from unsolicited subscription lists.
    • If the name and company of the sender is available, you can get company information from the library. Submit a remark that they refused your request to end contacting you by e-mail. Submit a request from the library while you are at this location. If you've tried this many times to unsubscribe and you're out of luck, you can get the names of the executives of these companies by following the IP information (sender tracking) or by using D&B at the library and sending them copies of the unsubscribe information. which must include the sender's address.
    • Try to keep spam to a minimum by not giving your email address to anyone you don't know, trust, or use for commercial purposes (like your bank, business websites, etc.).
    • If you unsubscribe and mail continues to arrive, you may need to add the spam sender or domain to your blocked list. This may not always work, however. See warnings below. Many spam senders will randomize the "From" section, so you can't block just one. (For example, you can receive an email that is indeed spam - from Sk8tr92, and then the same email from the same spam people who say it is from Sk8tr49)
    • When unsubscribing, "E-mail Removal Form" is a very popular method for most organizers. I recommend that you copy the email address to your computer's clipboard (highlighting your entered email address, right-clicking and choosing Copy), and when you come across one of these forms, right-click in the location that asks you for an email, and click "Insert". This keeps you from entering your address over and over again.
    • Site surveys tend to generate a lot of spam. While many people use surveys as a great source of extra income on a part-time basis, by signing up for surveys, free gifts, free blueprints and so on, it is common to circulate your email address for tons of unsolicited emails.
    • Most believe that many different unsolicited email messages can come from the same source. As soon as you start to "unsubscribe" from these emails, you will notice that some of the pages you unsubscribed from look the same. For this reason, I recommend that you “sort out” your junk mail on a weekly basis. Select email 5 or 6 times a week and repeat the process.

Tired of cleaning your mail from unnecessary emails every day? Then this article is for you, and if you read it carefully, you will learn how to unsubscribe from subscriptions and mailings that have already ceased to be interesting, literally, in 5 minutes.

Smart Internet services very effectively help us in solving various problems and issues, the main task is to find exactly the one that is needed at the moment. And there is such a service, and it does its job perfectly - it cleans our mail from unnecessary letters after we select those mailings from which we really want to unsubscribe.

Service can make you happy. I'm serious, and I'm not joking at all, and I'm not exaggerating. You know that any general cleaning makes the space around us cleaner, and fills us ourselves with lightness and hormones of happiness.

Long live mailbox cleaning!

Meanwhile, the Unroll.me service can put things in order for free if your mailbox is registered with the following mail services:

  • Outlook.com (including Hotmail, MSN, and Windows Live)
  • Gmail,
  • Google Apps,
  • Yahoo! Mail,
  • Aol mail
  • ICloud.

5. Fifthly, the service will send you daily notifications with your neat and beautiful message digest, and will also kindly inform you that it has managed to find previously undetected mailings in your mailbox. Well, and, of course, will offer to make a choice: unsubscribe from the mailing list, or add to the cumulative digest. Super!

Unsubscribe from unnecessary subscriptions without hesitation

Can this service really save you from constantly peeking into the mail, not in anticipation of something important, but only so that the mass of letters in your inbox does not become critical? Agree that many of us have a similar situation - there are authors from whom you do not want to unsubscribe, but the letters coming from them are not interesting for all topics. This is another reason why uninteresting emails go straight to the trash can.

I can't believe my eyes: there is not a single new incoming letter in my mail for the last two hours - all this time they are quietly accumulating in a special folder in the mail and on the Unroll.Me service. in the cumulative digest. I don't know about you, but I love it! Now I can calmly that I have accumulated earlier, without fear of a snowball, nullifying all the work, and read all the rest when it is convenient for me.

Curious Unroll.Me statistics on subscriptions for 2015

By the way, having looked at some of the articles of the blog that the service conducts for its readers, the following statistics for 2015 seemed interesting to me.

In 2015, users of the Unroll.Me service unsubscribed from more than 100 million emails. I wonder who is sending these letters? Unroll.Me publishes a complete list of the biggest email criminals in the public domain.

Subscriptions that most users have unsubscribed from
Winners in the category "Number of emails sent to one user"

Based on this data, on average, 120 emails were sent to one user.

Winners in the category "The number of emails sent to users on the most popular holidays"

♦ The statistics are interesting, especially considering the fact that the information is collected on the basis of real data of all users registered in this service.

Conclusion

For me, the benefits of the Unroll.Me service - on the face. I am confident that the nervous tension associated with having to look through e-mail every day will disappear. The only disappointment is the lack of a Russian interface, but, as always, Google Chrome helps to cope with the translation.

I also suggest that you empty your mailbox and manage your mail in a new way, with tremendous time savings. Receive only important emails that will not get lost in the general stream. Use an effective tool and write your opinion in the comments. I will be glad to discuss with you the benefits of a useful service.

This is just a nightmare! Two-thirds of the mailbox is filled with all kinds of advertising mailings. This despite the fact that I regularly "clean" my mail. I decided to spend more time once and figure out how to unsubscribe from mailing lists to Yandex mail once and for all!

I post all the information I found here. I think the results of my labors will be useful to you too. Naturally, first of all we go to Yandex mail. On the main page on the left side, we have information about messages. Above the image of a paper clip, which means the choice of letters with attachments, we see a barely noticeable inscription "customize" - it is circled in the following image.

Again, on the left side, a menu of offered services opens. Here we need to select the section "Mail processing rules".

By clicking on the appropriate tab, we see a menu on the monitor screen that allows us, if necessary, to blacklist all addresses that you do not need to send from. In this case, letters will be sent to the basket immediately upon receipt, respectively, without cluttering your mail. Thus, if you do not want to receive information from different sites, or, for example, you do not want letters from classmates, add them to the black list. Now you do not have to repeat my torment by spending hours at the monitor just to get rid of unnecessary letters.

In principle, there are similar methods of cleaning the mailbox from unnecessary mailing on Gmail, Mail, Rambler mail. The differences are not significant.

Let's consider another example of how to unsubscribe from mailing lists on Mail.ru. First, go to your mail. On the left side, the entry "configure folders" is barely noticeable, we go there.

We are offered automatic filtering of mailings and adding your own filtering settings. Go to the "add filter" tab.

Now you need to fill in the fields so that the system does not allow unnecessary mailings to get into the mailbox. In the specified field, mark "unnecessary e-mail".

Then we put notes in the fields marked on the image. As you can see in the screenshot, these are the "delete permanently", "apply to messages in folders" fields. Click "save" to save the settings that will protect your mail from being sent.

From the author

I never liked following links, it seemed like a waste of time. But it was completely in vain. For example, by going to this link: I realized how much time I wasted at the computer. It turns out that there are many ways to be much more productive in front of the monitor. It is enough only to properly organize work processes, and the system will take over a significant part of the labor. And here is how to dispose of the free time that has appeared, come up with yourself.

Here is another link that surprised me pleasantly - letters are selling... Despite the fact that many call our age the age of computer technology, for example, I really like reading. And not electronic, but quite ordinary books. So, on this site their selection is very large. In addition, gift editions are presented here, which will be very pleasant to receive as a gift for a book lover like me. And the delivery offered by the site eliminates the need for long shopping trips in search of your favorite book.

Today, my 9-year-old son Arseniy created a box for himself on Yandex (so far for games, not for communication). He asked me only one question about login. Do your children know how? The long-awaited vacation began, Arseny went to his grandmother in a good mood, because he successfully graduated from a general education and music school. Yesterday I was at the final lesson in the music room and even photographed him on a smartphone.

In custody

So, use my advice, clean your mailbox, learn to save time when working with a computer, buy books, without leaving home. And I, in turn, will continue to travel through the pages of the World Wide Web and find important and useful information for you. You can follow my "discoveries" by subscribing to. Share the link to my article on social networks, perhaps it will be useful to one of your friends or acquaintances. ...

Joke.
- Everything! Today I am starting to live in a new way!

- Yah? Quit drinking and smoking?
- What are you? ... I have a brand new mailbox, nickname and ICQ number.

If you are as curious as most of the inhabitants of the country of the Soviets, then most likely your mailbox resembles either a disorderly dump of information garbage, or an orderly warehouse in case of the Third World War.

In either case, this is a pile of materials set aside for later, to which hands will not reach in the next thousand years, because you continue to subscribe to more and more mailings.

Sooner or later, everyone faces the question: how to unsubscribe from the mailing list, which you will no longer read for one reason or another.

When do you need to unsubscribe from the mailing list?

  1. If you have read / viewed 2-3 letters and have not opened any more. Don't throw it away because you hope to get something valuable in the future or don't know how to unsubscribe;
  2. If the mailing level has exhausted itself, i.e. at first you read it with interest, but now you do not find anything useful in it;
  3. If the author's manner of mailing is not close to you and / or annoys you, even if the information is useful - there are a lot of authors on the Web, you will find another, closer in spirit

Now about the main thing: how to unsubscribe from the newsletter if you are tired of receiving it... You can, of course, write a hysterical letter to the author: “don’t dare write to me anymore!”, To which the author will only shrug his shoulders - you yourself have subscribed, you have activated the mailing list, which means that you must be smart and smart enough to unsubscribe in the same way.

In fact, it is much easier for you to unsubscribe on your own than for the author to search for you in his many thousands of database.

So the salvation of the suffering is the work of the suffering themselves.

Today I will tell you how to unsubscribe from mailings in different mail services, and you no longer have to suffer - you can easily manage your subscriptions

How to unsubscribe from the mailing list of the Smartresponder.ru service

1 way

With Smart, the easiest thing is - at the end of every letter sent by this service there is a link cancel subscription

When you click on it, you will be taken to a page with this choice:

Here you can mark the box "I want to completely remove my address from the author's database"

Please note that the mark of the second box is a direct accusation of the author of the mailing list for sending letters to your e-mail without your consent... What is nonsense for the Smartresponder service.

Smart is very strict about this, and just like that, without your consent, no one can enter your address into their database.

Therefore, if you just forgot that you once voluntarily subscribed, this is not a reason to throw out your irritation from your own inability to unsubscribe from the mailing list to a person who is not to blame for this.

2 way

You can get rid of all unnecessary mailings in bulk. To do this, you need to log into your subscriber account on the Smarresponder.ru service by clicking on the button To come in in the upper right corner.

If you cannot remember your password, click on the link in the same window Forgot your password? And Smart will send you it to the e-mail that you use when subscribing

Here you will find a bunch of mailings that you once subscribed to. You have already forgotten about many of them. Moreover, in confidence, many authors have already forgotten about their mailing lists, which you subscribed to.

Having checked the checkboxes of mailings that you no longer want to receive, at the very bottom of the page, click on the button Unsubscribe

Voila! We got rid of a bunch of unnecessary junk in one fell swoop, and you have only those mailings that you would like to receive further.

Click On the site and on the next page press the button cancel subscription

After that, Subscribe immediately gives us the opportunity to check all subscriptions and unsubscribe from unnecessary

  • Choose from the menu My mailings -> My subscriptions
  • We discover that we have managed to subscribe to a bunch of nonsense and click on the links Unsubscribe

Admiring the result

1 way

The same as in the previous services: goes down to the very bottom of the letter, look for the Unsubscribe link and unsubscribe

2 way is also not fundamentally different

We follow the link, log in, put a tick in the checkboxes of those mailings from which we want to unsubscribe and press the freedom button

1 way You already know.

2 way

V Subscriber menu choose home

Push the button Refresh

In the block Unconfirmed subscriptions put a tick in the checkboxes of mailings that we do not want to subscribe to

Push Refresh

In such a simple way, we got rid of unnecessary mailings and breathe more freely.

I will not list all email services - these are just the main ones. But, I think, you have already figured out how to unsubscribe from the mailing list: either at the end of the letter, or in your subscriber account, you can always get the long-awaited freedom without appealing to the author's conscience. Believe me, subscribing to his mailing list is your handiwork, he was not involved and did not even notice your appearance. And, in the same way, you can leave in English without saying goodbye, he again will not notice.
