• In the Skype program, the login (i.e. Skype) of another user must be added to the contact list

• The following must be connected to the computer for video: a video camera (built-in in a laptop or a separate webcam). Depending on whether you have a camcorder with or without a microphone, you may also need a microphone (built into your computer or external) to speak and headphones or speakers to listen. The microphone and headphones can be replaced by a special headset, usually connected to a computer.

How many times to register a user in Skype?

Before moving on to registering a user in Skype, I want to draw your attention to 2 important points regarding registration.

First, in Skype you enough to register once. Then, when uninstalling and reinstalling the Skype program on your computer, when reinstalling the operating system, when switching to any other computer, the login and password that was specified when you first registered Skype remain with you. This is because your Skype username and password are stored on the Skype server and not on your computer. The advantage of this storage method is that your "Skype" remains known to all the people to whom you have communicated it, and in case of possible technical or software failures on your computer, the contact is not lost.

Step 2: Skype user registration

If there is no Skype program on your computer, then you need to download it for free (without registration) and install it from the official site in order to avoid any misunderstandings:

1. Register a user in Skype (number 1 in Fig. 1)
2. Download and install Skype for Windows, there are also versions for Linux, Mac OC, mobile, etc. (number 2 in Fig. 1)

You can start by registering with Skype, then install Skype on your computer.

You can, on the contrary, start by installing the Skype program on your computer, and only then go through user registration in order to get a login (more often they say Skype).

To register a user in Skype, click on the "Registration" button (number 1 in the screenshot - Fig. 1).

Let's go over the numbers in the screenshot (see Fig. 2). Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory.

1, 2 - Enter first and last name, you can be real, you can be different, no one will check, most importantly, then do not forget (or rather write down) who you introduced yourself to.

3, 4 - Enter the same number twice YOUR email address, and NOT the mail that is shown in fig. 2. If you forget your Skype password, you will need your valid e-mail to restore or change it.

If you do not have a mailbox, then you must first create it, for example,.

5 - Select from the dropdown list own country, for example, Russia, but you can specify any other countries.

6 – Choose language on which Skype will communicate with the user. It is better to indicate your native language, for example, Russian, otherwise you will have to receive messages and respond to them in a non-native language or use automatic translators.

It is not necessary to enter a mobile phone number.

We select the option that we intend to use Skype "primarily for private conversations."

Now let's move on to filling out personal information.

7 - At the bottom of the page you will see the "Skype Login" field, enter your name there individual name, under which your acquaintances and friends will find you in the Skype program on their computers. There are quite a lot of users of the program, so choosing a free login is not so easy. But this is perhaps the only difficulty when registering with Skype. To do this, use the Latin alphabet (alas, Russian letters cannot be used in this field), it is also permissible to use numbers.

9 - We repeat the password.

Step 3: Download Skype for free without registration

How to install Skype for free

After you managed to download the Skype program from the official website for free without registration (or with registration, it does not matter), you can proceed to install Skype on your computer.

In the folder where the Skype program files were saved, find the SkypeSetup.exe file, double-click on it. We don’t change anything in the intermediate windows, BUT we pay attention to the checkboxes opposite the suggestions to install a Yandex bar or something similar. Often, with the installation of a program, a “trailer” installs a bunch of add-ons that not everyone likes, then it’s better to uncheck all the boxes. Click on the button "Continue installing Skype" or "Next".

Step 4: How to add a contact in Skype?

So, the Skype program is installed, you have registered Skype, and you already want to finally make a call. To do this, you need to exchange Skype (more precisely, Skype logins) with the person you need to call on Skype. Each user has their own unique Skype login, there are no duplicate logins.

If by e-mail or in some other way you told another person your Skype (more precisely, Skype login), and he told you his Skype, now we add this login to your contact list.

In the Skype program menu, first click on "Contacts", then on "Add contact" (Fig. 6):
