Disabling all paid options on mts. Ways to disable paid services on mts

MTS offers subscribers more than 20 different paid services. Each of them has a monthly or weekly subscription fee. Many subscribers do not use certain services in their tariff. We will tell you how to disable the paid service on MTS. Service commands, text messages, a personal account or a call to the operator allow you to do this.

How to check which paid services you have connected

The subscriber can use several methods to find out about the current paid services. The first way is to use a USSD request *152# and challenge. After that, a text menu will open in front of the subscriber, in which it is necessary to select the “Paid Services” section by pressing the corresponding number on the smartphone keyboard. In the next menu, press the number, which will take you to the "Options" section. In it you will see all the current paid options for your number.

If you are also interested in the subscription fee for use, find out the necessary information in your personal account. You should go to the "Tariffs and Services" section (in the "Management" subsection). The window will present a complete list of connected options and their subscription fee. You can also go to the "Subscriptions" section of the site. This is a block of paid entertainment add-ons, for which funds are also withdrawn from your account.

The operator will always help you to find out the desired information. Call the company's call center to request the necessary information. Before calling, prepare your passport, because in order to provide information, the consultant must make sure that you are the owner of the SIM card. Dialing numbers can be found on the official website or in the next section "Call the operator".

Shutdown instructions

Note that almost every service can be disabled using its own combinations, which you can find on the thematic pages on the MTS website. There is also a universal method for disabling all subscriptions, which we will mention next. Let's find out how to disable a paid service in various ways.

USSD commands and SMS

Most services are deactivated using USSD commands or by sending text messages. An example of disabling some of them via SMS and service commands is shown in the image below.

In 100% of cases, using the USSD command is completely free. SMS messages for deactivation are usually also free, but in some situations a fee may be charged according to your tariff. Finding a way to turn it off is easy: on the mts.ru page, enter the name of the service in the search field. The search result will be displayed next. Go to the description page. Expand the tab "how to enable / disable" or "frequently asked questions"

To disable absolutely all paid subscriptions, the subscriber can dial the service command *152*2# or send a text message with a number 1 on the 8111 . We recommend that you get information about the deactivation of a particular option only from official representatives of the company.

Call to the operator

Finding the right commands on the network to disable many is problematic and time consuming. A more convenient way is to contact a live operator. The consultant will quickly find the information you need, while helping with deactivation. Here you will need to provide your passport details so that the MTS employee can verify that you are the legal owner of this number.

To disable paid MTS services, call one of the numbers:

  • 0890 (if you are an MTS subscriber);
  • 8-800-250-0890 designed to call from home or numbers of other operators (Megafon, Beeline, Tele2 and others).
  • +7-495-766-01-66 used when roaming abroad.

As soon as you get through, the autoinformer will begin to announce the menu items. Go to one of the sections (for example, the first or second), then press the 0 button. You will be connected to the first free operator.

Additionally, you can write to an online consultant in a chat on the MTS website. This is relevant in cases where you are outside the network coverage area, but there is Internet access. Using the chat does not require authorization in your personal account.

Via mobile app

Users of Android smartphones from Apple products and gadgets on Windows Phone can use the My MTS application. Its main convenience is the ability to perform settings directly from the phone. To do this, install the program. Run her. Follow the simple instructions below:

MTS has in its arsenal many additional options and services. Some of them are connected to the tariff without the knowledge of the subscriber, which is why funds are periodically debited from the account. For this reason, many MTS users have a reasonable question: how to disable unnecessary options? As part of this review, the most common paid services and ways to disable them will be considered.

How to find out what services you have connected?

To refuse additional services, you need to understand which of the options were connected. You can find out all the necessary information on the current tariff in several ways:

The difficulty lies in the fact that even after deactivating unnecessary services, some of them may reconnect over time. To prevent unnecessary spending, you should periodically check the list of connected options in the "My Services" menu. To call it, you can use the ussd command *111*11# or *152# .

When should you turn it off?

Many paid services that are connected without the knowledge of the subscriber are provided free of charge for 15 or 30 days. If desired, the user can disable them on the last day before the subscription fee is charged. You need to understand that the mobile operator often does not warn about the upcoming debiting of funds from the smartphone. If you do not deactivate the service in time, this will lead to the withdrawal of a certain amount from the account balance.

Very often, paid services and options are connected when switching to a new tariff plan. In particular, this applies to subscribers who connect the Super MTS tariff. Immediately after the transition, automatic activation of SMS packages, the "Beep" service, additional minutes, etc. takes place. If the subscriber does not want to use them, they must be identified and deactivated within 15 days after the tariff is activated.

Shutdown methods

There are many options for disabling paid services, but each of them has its own characteristics. Sometimes the deactivation methods depend on which service was connected to the tariff. This should be taken into account when using ussd commands, as well as sending SMS messages to short numbers.

Shutdown using system prompts or SMS messages

First you need to use the *152# command to determine the paid services that have been activated. After that, you can proceed to disable them using the appropriate system queries:

  • "Beep" - *111*29# or send an SMS message 21510; at 111;
  • "News" - *111*1212*2#;
  • "Horoscope" - *111*4752#;
  • "Super Bit" - SMS message 2520 to 111;
  • "Call for free to MTS Russia 100" - * 111 * 868 #;
  • "Favorite number" - SMS message 21410 to 111;
  • "Voice mail" - SMS message 90 to 111.

The above services are among the most demanded and popular among MTS users. To enter the subscriber service and get acquainted with the options that can be activated or deactivated at this tariff, you need to make a system request *111# and press the call key.

Disabling through the "Personal Account"

Confident Internet users will be able to disable paid services using the appropriate menu on the personal page of the MTS website. To opt out of additional options, you must:

  1. Log in to the site login.mts.ru;
  2. Go to the tab "Tariffs and services";
  3. Click on the line "Service management" opposite the unnecessary option and click the "Disable" button.

If desired, the subscriber can activate individual options in the same section in the "Personal Account".

Important Information

Advertising messages and notifications about possible subscriptions annoy many subscribers. To refuse MTS mailing, you can send a message with the word STOP to the number from which notifications come. If the subscriber wants to prevent the receipt of unnecessary advertising information on the phone, he can use the "Content ban" option.

The service can be activated over the phone while calling the operator to 0890. To activate it yourself, you need to use the Internet assistant on the MTS website. The service blocks only spam, so its connection will not affect the work with electronic wallets and useful services.

Almost all mobile operators provide their subscribers with a number of additional services. Sometimes these options are connected automatically, sometimes subscribers do it themselves. It often happens that people can connect them, use such options once or twice, and then simply forget about them. But, nevertheless, the subscription fee for using additional services exists and is regularly withdrawn from the user's account. In another case, the subscriber will want to change the operator, knowing about all the connected services. But it is not necessary to make such cardinal decisions, you can simply turn off all MTS services and stop paying extra money for what you do not use.

Funds can disappear from the account for various reasons. It is possible that one of them is a fee for additional services. Before proceeding to the stage of disabling them, it is worth checking which paid options you have connected. This can be done in several ways. Let's take a closer look at each of them:

  • Call the MTS operator on the hotline. To do this, dial the number 0890, the call is made absolutely free, but you will receive all the information you are interested in.
  • If you notice an MTS service center near your home, then you can safely go in and ask for all the information there. To identify your identity, you may be asked for documents, but after verification, they will provide all the information that interests you.
  • You can send an SMS message to the short number 8111. If you are interested in absolutely all connected additional services, then you need to send an empty SMS message to this number. To learn about paid options, you need to write “1” in the text of the message, and for free ones, the SMS message must contain the text “0”.
  • Another easy way is to send the code * 152 * 2 # from your smartphone. In response, you will receive a complete list of options for which you pay money.
  • You can find out all the information in the Personal Account, where in the “Service Management” item you can find the entire list of provided and connected services.

Thus, after receiving information about the services, you will know exactly for what and in what amount you regularly pay money. And if the funds go to pay for an option that is absolutely unnecessary for you, you should immediately turn it off.
