If we talk about the shortcomings, or rather, the inconveniences of the technology, we can only note the following: the number of security keys (tokens) is limited, and when they run out, and there is no connection to the network, the process can stop. As we said before, Google Pay does not work on phones with root or unlocked bootloader. Such devices are called hacked. But what about users who want to have custom firmware or root and still enjoy the contactless payment feature? It's simple - you need to deceive the application and make it think that the OS is not hacked.

This is done using the Magisk app. The program consists of two parts. This is a firmware patch and mode manager. The essence of working with the utility is to flash the patch through Recovery and install the appropriate APK. As a result, the program starts, and you specify applications in the menu that should “think” that there is no root.

Errors that may occur

The most important issue that worries users when working with Android Pay is instability on Xiaomi phones. This problem exists not only on Xiaomi - it was also noticed on Meizu.
