We change the monitor backlight lamps (ourselves). Who is entitled to carry out the work? Replacing defective lamps

Halogen bulbs shine more brightly and consume less electricity than incandescent bulbs. But at the same time, they also burn out quite often, and their independent replacement is associated with some nuances that you will learn by reading this article in full.

Replacing the double-pin halogen lamp (G4, GU5.3)

These are the most common types of lamps, which are most often used in spotlights and fixtures built into furniture. They are produced both with an open bulb and with a reflector, where the bulb is protected by glass.

Replacement procedure

1. .
2. Remove the cover or protective glass and take out the burnt out light bulb. Depending on the design of the luminaire and the type of lamp, different options are possible.

Open bulb light bulbs usually they hide under various shades (a common option is built-in backlight lamps in furniture cabinets).

To replace such a light bulb, remove the protective cover by prying it around the perimeter with a thin screwdriver or a knife, then simply pull on the bulb of the light bulb, pulling it out of the holder.

Light bulbs with reflector and protective glass most often used in luminaires built into suspended / suspended ceilings. In order to remove the lamp from the luminaire, in most cases it is sufficient to remove the spacer spring or the ring that fixes the lamp in the luminaire body.

After you have taken out the light bulb, you need to separate it from the socket. To remove a bulb with a GU5.3 base from the socket, take the bulb in one hand and gently pull the socket with the fingers of your other hand, thus pulling it off the contact pins of the bulb base.

Although the sockets of such bulbs are sufficiently protected, nevertheless, in order to avoid electric shock, grasp the socket with your hands carefully. For extra protection, you can use (whole) rubber household gloves.

In more rare cases (more often in rotary lamps), you will not find a spring; here you will need to remove the decorative plafond, or remove the entire lamp.

To remove the trim, try turning the trim ring that holds it slightly counterclockwise. If you are unable to remove the cover, you will have to completely pull out the lamp.

To remove the lamp, carefully slip a flat tool (screwdriver, ruler, putty knife) between the edge of the decorative ring of the lamp and the ceiling, then pull the lamp slightly out of the hole in the ceiling until the spacer springs appear.

Press both springs against the light with your fingers and continue pulling on the light a little. By pressing down on the springs, you prevent them from suddenly opening when you finally remove the lamp, and thus protect both the hole in the ceiling and your hands from damage.

After you have removed the lamp, remove the bulb from it and disconnect it from the socket. If the bulb is equipped with a GU10 base, remove the bulb by turning it approximately 90 degrees counterclockwise.

If the light bulb slips in your hands and does not want to rotate, then try to crank it, wearing rubber gloves or using a suction cup.

3. Buy a new replacement bulb. Determine the characteristics of the burned-out light bulb in advance. Be especially careful with this point, because halogen bulbs are designed for both 220 volts and low (12 volts) voltage.

An indication of the type and wattage of the light bulb can be found on the luminaire, or read on the light bulb itself.

If you are not sure how you can replace the light bulb, then you need to take the burned out light bulb to the store and ask you to choose a similar one in terms of characteristics.

4. Install a new, serviceable light bulb in place.

When installing a new halogen bulb in its rightful place, it is necessary to take into account that it is categorically not recommended to touch its bulb with your hands. The fact is that during operation, the bulb of a halogen lamp heats up very much (it is even made of heat-resistant quartz glass). And if there are greasy fingerprints on it, then in this place the glass will heat up even more.

The burnt grease stain forms carbon deposits on the flask, which heats it even more. The glass in this can melt, and even swell. All this leads to the destruction or premature burnout of the halogen lamp.

Therefore, do not touch the lamp with your fingers. Use the packaging in which the lamp was sold, or hold the lamp through a dry, clean cloth (polyethylene). If you did take the lamp with your fingers, then degrease it with a lint-free cloth moistened with alcohol.

This does not apply to lamps, the bulb of which is "hidden" inside the reflector and covered with protective glass. You can safely take such lamps with your hands.

5. After installing the light bulb, try turning it on and then, if everything works, reinstall the light in the reverse order.

Replacing an r7s halogen bulb

This is also a fairly common type of lamp, most often used in floor lamps, as well as outdoor floodlights. R7s type lamps are available in various lengths and wattage.

Replacement procedure

1. De-energize the lamp, then remove the protective glass or cover to gain access to the lamp. Be sure to let the lamp cool down.

2. Grasp the bulb with your hand and lightly press the lamp with one end of the cap into the socket, while pulling the other (released) end of the cap towards you. Thus, one end of the base, and behind it the entire lamp, must come out of the holder.

3. Buy a lamp of the correct size, wattage and voltage from a store. Remember not to touch the halogen bulb with your hands, so replace the new bulb using a clean cloth, a glove, or a piece of non-slip plastic.

Typically, these types of bulbs are sold wrapped in plastic, which can be used to hold the bulb during installation. Remember to just remove it after installation.

4. Insert one (either) end of the light bulb into the socket and, slightly pressing on it, insert the other end of the light bulb into the opposite part of the socket so that the bulb is securely fixed between the clamps of the socket.

If you see that the light bulb is loosely installed and dangles between the clamping contacts of the holder, then you need to remove the light bulb and bend the clips or the holder of the holder so that the light “sits tightly” in the holder. If the chuck hold-down contacts are badly burnt and cannot be adjusted, it will be necessary to replace the chuck.

5. Turn on the light. If everything works fine, install the protective glass or cover in its rightful place.

False ceiling bulbs are often used in spotlights. Some do the installation of the structure themselves and then have an idea of how to change a halogen light bulb in a false ceiling and any others. It doesn't matter. But if you ordered the installation of the ceiling from the company and did not do it yourself, then you may not know how the replacement is done.

On our website you can watch photos and videos on the installation of various structures in suspension systems. Below will be given step-by-step instructions for doing this work.

Applicable products

There are four types of light bulbs in a suspended ceiling.

How to twist, twist, insert point halogen products with your own hands

  • Halogen that can be installed with a minimum ceiling clearance in relation to the base. They produce pretty bright lighting. Replacing such an element is a little more difficult than an incandescent lamp and at the same time you need to be extremely careful. The lifespan of such a lamp is highly dependent on correct installation. We have frequent fluctuations in the supply of lighting that negatively affect the operation of incandescent devices. Therefore, it is better to use voltage stabilizers on the branch;

  • Some people use luminaires with traditional incandescent bulbs.... These elements are well known to everyone and their replacement is not difficult. However, they are far from suitable for all suspended ceilings, as they get very hot;

Luminescent

  • Fluorescent lamps despite the fact that their price is quite high, they are very popular as they consume little electrical energy. Moreover, their luminosity is much higher than that of analogs. Among the shortcomings, it is possible to note the slow turn-on (lamps with a hot start). And also a limited number of on-off cycles, as well as the content of mercury vapors in them, which complicates disposal.

LED Downlights for False Ceiling

  • LED lights for suspended ceilings the most economical and durable. The luminosity of such devices is often higher than that of fluorescent ones. Their lifespan can reach 72,000 hours, which is incredibly long. By comparison, a conventional incandescent lamp has a lifespan of 1000 hours.

When replacing lighting fixtures, there are several nuances to be aware of.

It is mainly used for spot lighting, two types of base:

  1. Traditional right-hand thread... It is used for the standard chuck. And everyone knows how to make such a replacement;

  1. There are lamps that are attached with two pins(base G with all possible modifications). They serve as guides and are fixed after a characteristic click. Do not apply force when replacing. If you hit the groove, then the snapping will happen easily. Therefore, do not try to press, just pull it out and try again, perhaps the element did not fall into the groove;

Getting started on replacing

Turn off the power

First you need to turn off the power on the branch. Do not forget about safety precautions. To do this, just make sure that the switch is in the "off" position.

After that, we find a comfortable support so that we can perform work at a height. Use a stepladder or regular stool.

Advice! When carrying out work in suspension and tension systems, you should be extremely careful. If it is a stretch ceiling, then the fabric can be easily damaged. If the suspension rack system, and even with a mirror finish, then this, too, any not careful movement can be harmful.

  • If there is an incandescent lamp in the ceiling, then you need to grab the bulb and turn it counterclockwise, that is, it is held by the base.
  • LED, halogen and fluorescent lamps have a different mount.

  • When removing, first of all, you should unlock the light bulb in the body. A retaining ring is provided for this. When doing this work, hold this part, the ring itself is springy and can easily slip out of the hand.
  • In other designs, the ring is threaded and unscrewed in a counterclockwise direction.

How to unscrew, screw in, insert the lamp correctly

  • The lamp is now free. It will not fall as it hangs from the wires. Pull it out and disconnect the connection by simply pulling to the sides.
  • Having taken out the lamp, you can see its denomination and pick up its replacement.
  • The lamp is installed in the reverse order.

In order for the lamp not only to work for a long time, but also to look beautiful in the ceiling, it is enough to adhere to a few simple rules:

  • If you lacked indoor lighting. Then you can go in two ways to rectify the situation. The first is to choose a lamp with a higher power, and the second is to replace it with a more energy efficient option - LED.

  • If it was just uncomfortable for you to work, then try taking a daylight llama with a temperature of 4000K. This lighting is more conducive to the work environment.
  • Use lamps in a suspended ceiling of the same model, otherwise they will not look very good together. If this is not on sale, then it is better to replace all the lamps in the room, unless of course it is very expensive.
  • If you put a halogen lamp without a reflector, for example, in a chandelier, then remember that you should not take it with your bare hands. The fact is that their bulb is covered with a special coating, which degrades upon contact with fats - such a lamp will not last long. Use the supplied cloth or cellophane.

How to remove, disassemble, unscrew the built-in lamp

Now you know how to replace light bulbs for a false ceiling. It's a simple matter, but not devoid of certain subtleties. Let your home be light and cozy.

The scheme for removing a lamp from a stretch ceiling is not obvious, you would hardly be able to remove a light bulb without the theoretical foundations of this process. Not worth trying! Amateur work with electrical appliances can lead to disastrous consequences both for the ceiling and for you! Carefully study the instructions for removing the lighting fixtures and only then carry out the dismantling.

If your bulb is out of order, an immediate bulb replacement is required for optimal lighting performance. But not everything is so simple: sometimes you have to remove the lamps from the socket to remove the lamp. Depending on the type of lamp, you will need to take different steps to replace it.

How to change the lamp:

  1. If your lamps use ordinary incandescent lamps, then you just need to turn off the light in the room, unscrew the old lamp and screw the working model into its place.
  2. It takes a little work to replace a halogen or LED light bulb. So, first, turn off the power supply in the room, then remove the lamp cover and remove the locking ring. If you are dealing with a halogen lamp, then remove it with a cloth or gloves. Oil from the fingers can shorten its lifespan. To remove the lamp, try wiggling it with soft, unsharp motions. If the light bulb does not work, then gently twist it around its axis.

It happens that luminaires with LEDs are a single mechanism. In this case, replacing the bulb is not possible, and the entire lamp will have to be replaced!

How to change an LED lamp in a stretch ceiling

LED lights are very beneficial and convenient. They consume a small amount of electricity, shine brightly enough and serve regularly for several years. One way or another, the work of an LED lamp sometimes comes to an end and with it the need to change such a lamp.

Replacing the LED lamp is as follows:

  • Take a new lamp and make sure it works properly with a tester (sometimes this can be done in a store).
  • Turn off the electricity in the room before proceeding with the replacement.
  • Provide yourself with self-contained lighting. It is unlikely that you will be able to cope with the task blindly.
  • Remove the fixing from the damaged light bulb.
  • Strip the insulation from the wiring.
  • Disconnect the wires.
  • Read the instructions for the new lamp carefully.
  • Install the lamp according to the instructions.
  • Reconnect all wires and restore electrical insulation.
  • Hide the wires and attach the cover of the LED light.
  • Attach the crusher to the box using screws.

The need to periodically change LED lamps pays off by their cost-effectiveness.

How to remove a lamp from a stretch ceiling: remove a chandelier

Removing a chandelier from a stretch ceiling is a snap! If you are too afraid to learn an electric shock, then de-energize the entire apartment. This will completely protect you, and the whole procedure for removing the chandelier will go smoothly.

Step-by-step instructions for removing a chandelier from a stretch ceiling:

  1. If your chandelier is suspended on a hook, then remove the protective cap, stick your hand through the gap formed, and find the hook that holds your chandelier. Grasp the chandelier securely at the attachment point and remove it along with the wiring. Now we are working with the wire. Carefully strip the insulation and disconnect the wires. Ready!
  2. To dismantle a chandelier with a cruciform bar, you will have to do a little more steps. First, remove all elements from the lamp: lamps, shades, decorations, etc. Then unscrew the cap. Find the fastening system under the hood. Now detach the hangers by unscrewing the screws and pull out the chandelier along with the fastening structure. Next, remove the insulation and unwind the wires. Your chandelier is free!

If your chandelier weighs a lot, then don't rely on yourself! Get an assistant to secure the chandelier during the removal process.

How to remove a spotlight from a stretch ceiling: we eliminate possible problems

In the process of removing the lamp, some problematic situations may arise due to the fact that not everyone knows how to properly remove spotlights. If you study the removal scheme in detail, then of course everything can be avoided.

The main problems when removing lamps are the following:

  • The springs securing the lamp above the ceiling hit the fingers painfully when the lamp is pulled out.
  • There is a risk of electric shock.
  • If the springs of the lamp are very strong, then when removing the lamp, they can damage the strobe.

To prevent these problems, do not forget about the main rules: always turn off the lights before removing the lighting fixtures, and also hold the lamp springs firmly enough so that they do not damage the ceiling or your fingers.

Take care that the electricity is turned off during the installation or dismantling of lighting fixtures.

If you are tired of your lamps, and you have looked after new ones, then do not be afraid of difficulties when replacing lighting fixtures. Also, never leave non-working lights in the ceiling. What is the point in a beautiful stretch ceiling with original lamps if something is out of order? Defective appliances always spoil the mood, so do not waste time and use the instructions for replacing lamps in a stretch ceiling.

Hello everyone!
I have a lot of information on the site for the repair and replacement of LED backlighting, and for repair lcd backlight and replacing CCFL lamps no information.
Well, this article, in some way, will correct this flaw.
Everything you need to know about backlighting before getting inside a monitor or TV.
1.The first and main signs of lamp problems:
- the image has acquired a permanent or periodic pink tint;
- the backlight goes out completely after switching on or after a while, while the sound remains, and the picture is viewed if you bring a lighting device to the monitor. A similar symptom may indicate problems with the inverter, which is responsible for transmitting the signal to the lamps.
  1. Quantity lamps in LCD monitors are usually at least 4, and in TVs it can be counted as one or several. It depends on many factors: the age of the device, its diagonal, etc.
  2. Before replacing, you need to make sure that the new light elements are suitable for the parameters. For this, there are tables for the correspondence of lamps to display diagonals. Better to follow her. It is possible that you will be able to put a lamp with a length difference of 1-2 mm, but it will take more time and effort.
  3. The lamp replacement process for a beginner will take about 3-4 hours if you follow the instructions and do not experiment.
  4. Caution does not hurt! When working with an inverter, be extremely careful, because its voltage output is approximately 1000V. And when you change the lamps, try not to break them, because they are very fragile and contain mercury vapor.
Process replacement lamps lcd backlight TVs and monitors.
For the lamp replacement procedure itself, you will need:
- a well-tidied room and a clean surface;
- rubber gloves (medical gloves are perfect);
- a sharp thin knife (clerical for example);
- heat shrink tubes;
- Screwdriver Set.
So, you need to get to the lamps. First monitor (TV) must be freed from the protective plastic box - unfasten it from the narrow panel, which is located along the perimeter of the screen in front. Then carefully remove the entire LCD module from the metal frame by unscrewing a few screws.

Now the most difficult work, which requires patience and accuracy, begins - to disassemble the electronic panel and the module into components. To remove the matrix (and you will have to remove it), you will need to arm yourself with tweezers and peel off the protective film from the electronic board (matrix decoder). This should be done carefully, because the thickness of the decoder is only 1 mm, and it is connected to the matrix by the thinnest data lines. If you try to cut the film or pull it harder, then a breakdown will inevitably occur, after which it will be impossible to restore the element's performance.

Removing the matrix, like other elements, is required with gloves, because finger stains will subsequently be reflected in the image. In the same way, dust and other debris will make themselves felt, so their contact with open elements should be minimized.

After removing the matrix, a set of filters and an optical fiber, where the lamps are located, will fall into the field of view. They can be arranged in pairs in pencil cases at the top and bottom of the monitor, or in horizontal rows along the entire perimeter of the screen. In rare cases, it may not be necessary to completely disassemble the LCD module, because sometimes the cases with lamps are removed in more accessible ways. But all this can be learned only in the process of work.

When you get to the lamps, you can immediately notice the faulty ones - the blackened cathodes will tell you about it. But if visually the lamps look the same, then you will have to figure out which one to change. The way to substitute a working (better than a new) lamp will be the simplest. If this method cannot be carried out, then using a special device, you can create a resistance of about 1kOhm-2W through the inverter.

After replacing the lamps, perform the reverse process - collecting all the parts of the device into the original structure. Collect carefully so that there are no fingerprints or dirt, dust and foreign objects. If done correctly, your TV or monitor will work normally.

Replacing a standard CCFL lamp with an LED one.

In devices with an LCD system, CCFL lamps or, in our opinion, fluorescent lamps are used, which glow not by heating the cathodes, but as a result of applying voltage to them. Therefore they are called cold cathode lamps. Such a light source should ideally change to an identical one. But we will take a quick look at replacing with an alternative LED lighting system:

  • First, you will need to disassemble the device according to the above scheme.
  • Remove lamps and remove inverter.
  • Buy an LED strip of the right size and better than a white glow. You can find ready-made designs with a set of LEDs and a control device for them.
  • The LED strip is glued onto double-sided tape where the fluorescent lamp was.
  • Wires are connected to this structure, which are output to the board and soldered to where the 12V power is indicated.
  • The operability of this circuit is checked and a monitor or TV is assembled.

This method has advantages and disadvantages. CCFL lamps unambiguously illuminate brighter and more evenly (more useful for the eyes), but LED strip is more affordable and more budgetary. This backlight is not adjustable. Although you can try to independently create a more complex control scheme, which will take more than one hour (maybe a day) or it will be spent and buy a ready-made design with a controller. But, perhaps, the main advantage of LED backlighting is significant energy savings and durability (120 years !!).

At first glance, replacing lamps seems like a simple operation, but there are many special features. Reasons for replacement:

  • the old lamp is out of order;
  • it is necessary to change the power;
  • not satisfied with the type or design of the lamp;
  • new organization of interior lighting.

Replacing the lamp yourself

In all these situations, first of all, it is necessary to find new lamps.

Choice

First, you need to determine what is best to install in the luminaire. The simplest solution would be to replace lamps with the same ones, since finding a new one is not difficult with all the variety of lamps: fluorescent (LL), incandescent, LED, halogen and others.

Most buyers take ordinary lamps of the same wattage, they are the cheapest and are always on sale. In the line of prices, LL are above them, and then LED ones. As the model becomes more complex, the cost increases.

What are the types of lamps

The correct organization of diffused, reflected and directional lighting allows you to control the shape of objects, zone areas and highlight the desired objects in rooms.

Replacing defective lamps

Failed lamps are replaced with new ones. Each type has its own characteristics.

Incandescent lamps

As the lighting is used, its intensity is redistributed. Somewhere it is necessary to increase the power, and in another place - to decrease. Therefore, they often take a slightly different light bulb. If practice shows that this is worse than it was, nothing will prevent you from returning to the previous option. For a medium-sized room, 100 W main lighting is sufficient.

In incandescent lamps, caps deteriorate over time from exposure to high temperatures. Therefore, you should always have a spare cartridge at home.

First of all, you will need tools to replace a light bulb:

  • chair or stepladder;
  • tester, probe;
  • new lamp;
  • several pliers of different sizes, a screwdriver, a knife;
  • gloves.

Unscrewing a faulty incandescent lamp

The wire to the light bulb is mainly fed through a single-pole switch. The phase must be passed through it so that there is no voltage on the cartridge in the disconnected state. This is simply checked with an indicator screwdriver.

It often happens that sometimes you have to unscrew the light bulb, and the base remains in the socket. It can be removed with pliers. They must be available in several sizes and with insulated handles. Lay a film under the lamp.

When replacing the lamp, be sure to turn off the light. It would also not hurt to turn off the machine. It is necessary to check with the indicator the presence of voltage on the destroyed base. Not every owner remembers which position of the switch key corresponds to the de-energization of the circuit.

Small pliers are opened inside the base, after which it is unscrewed. If it does not give in, you need to grab it with pliers by its edge and gradually loosen it until it moves. It is even easier to unscrew the base together with half of the cartridge body, after which it will be much easier to remove it.

The new lamp is screwed into the socket in a clockwise direction. Here, you must not press hard on the glass body and apply a large torque, so as not to damage it.

The lamp is tested for operation by applying voltage to it. If it does not burn, it must be screwed in all the way or bend the petals of the contacts in the cartridge. Do not stand under the lamp when switched on due to the danger of explosion.

Luminescent

Replacing the LL with the E27 cartridge is no different from the previous ones. For one room, 50 watts will be enough. At the same time, the light of this type of lamp is soft and evenly diffused. They have built-in high frequency electronic ballasts and do not flash.

Tubular lamps are somewhat more difficult to replace if you do not know how to connect them. In addition, they are often mounted on the ceiling, and work with them is difficult at high altitudes.

The room is de-energized, and a transparent diffuser is removed from the lamp. There are two pins on each side of the tube. They fit tightly in sockets with clips, and to release the lamp, turn it to one side until it stops by 90 0, holding it on both sides.

Fluorescent lamp with diffuser

The new tube is installed perpendicular to the cartridges in the slot, and then turned 90 0 until it clicks. After it is fixed, you need to check the reliability of the fastening by slightly pulling it towards you. Over time, the socket will wear out and the lamp may fall out if it is not properly seated.

After installation, the operation of the luminaire is checked and the hood is installed in place. If the new lamp does not start, you need to check the performance of the elements of the ballast.

A built-in LL for a false ceiling can be replaced in a similar way, but a certain skill is required here, since there is little space left for its dismantling and installation.

Installing a fluorescent lamp in a built-in luminaire

Built-in luminaires are fitted with 4 lamps, but they are short and easier to work with. Having removed the outer tube, access to the rest will be facilitated if they are removed in sequence and installed in the reverse order.

Halogen and LED

Suspended ceilings with spot lighting are often used in modern interiors. To change the light bulb, it must be unlocked in the luminaire. First, the room is de-energized, and then the luminaire retainer in the form of a spring ring is removed. After that, you should unscrew the lamp, and install a new one with the same characteristics in the vacant space. It is screwed in until it stops and fixed with a ring. In this case, the details are adhered to so that they do not slip out of the hands.

Replacing light bulbs in a spotlight can be carried out with an increase in light intensity without increasing their power. To do this, acquire the same lamps with a spectrum closer to white. They are brighter than yellows for the same energy consumption.

Even lamps of the same type can have a different appearance. It is advisable to use light sources from the same manufacturer and with the same power.

When replacing halogen and LED lamps (SL), do not touch them with bare hands in order to protect them from rapid failure. If a touch occurs accidentally, wipe the flask with a cotton swab moistened with alcohol.

If the problem is more serious than replacing the lamp, you need to know how to remove the ceiling light. The sequence of operations for removing it from the suspended ceiling is as follows:

  • turn off the automatic voltage supply;
  • take out the light bulb;
  • pry off the decorative rim with a knife or screwdriver;
  • press the fastening latches to the body and remove it from the groove.

Installation back is carried out in the reverse order.

Replacing the lamp with a different type

Incandescent lamps consume more energy and have a short life. Now there is a fashion to replace them with energy-saving ones. The reason is lower energy consumption. But here it should be borne in mind that the market for electrical goods is flooded with a large number of fakes, negating all the advantages of new models. Branded products are expensive, but counterfeit is not cheap, although in the end it does not provide any advantages, including in terms of service life.

If a decision is made to replace the incandescent lamp with a halogen or LED one, the easiest way is to purchase them with the same E27 or E14 bases, and then install them in the old socket.

With spotlights it will be more difficult, since here you will need to change the entire lighting system. Theirs or plasterboard ceiling. You can hide all the wiring behind them. For a stretch ceiling, it is more difficult to do this, since it will be visible through the transparent material.

In the cheapest linear LL, electromagnetic control gear EMPRA is used. The disadvantages of luminaires are low efficiency, choke rattling and flashing lamps. Replacing them does nothing, since they are not the reason. Replacing the equipment with electronic (electronic ballast) allows you to eliminate the above disadvantages.

Another way to increase the efficiency of energy consumption is to replace LL with LED ones, which outwardly completely coincide with them and with similar luminescence characteristics. The G13 base is the same as on the fluorescent tubes. From the inside, the adjacent pins of the SL are shorted with a copper conductor, and a voltage of 220 V is applied from opposite ends of the tube. A bar with a driver and soldered LEDs is installed inside it. All starting equipment is dismantled, making the luminaire much lighter. In its place, you can place another lamp.
