How to draw an electrical circuit in Word. How to draw an electrical circuit on a computer

To date, drawing electrical circuits by hand on a leaf is no longer used by any experienced electrician. It is much easier, more convenient and clearer to draw up a project for the electrical wiring of a room on a computer through a special software package in Russian. However, the problem is that not all programs are easy to use, so when they stumble upon an inconvenient and, moreover, paid version of the software, most old-school masters simply discard the modern modeling method aside. Next, we will provide readers of the site with an overview of the simplest programs for drawing electrical diagrams of apartments and houses on a computer.

Free Software

There are not many Russian-language, easy-to-use and, moreover, free software for compiling single-line electrical circuits on a computer. So, we have created a small rating so that you know which programs are best for drawing power supply diagrams for houses and apartments:

  1. . Oddly enough, but the most popular and no less important - a free program for drawing single-line electrical circuits on a computer is the Visio vector graphics editor. With it, even a novice electrician can quickly draw a circuit diagram of a house or apartment. As for the functionality, they are not as advanced as the software that we will provide below. Summing up, we can say that Microsoft Visio is an easy-to-use and at the same time free software for modeling electrical circuits in Russian, which is suitable for home electricians.
  2. . A more professional software package for the design of power supply schemes for premises. Compass has its own database, which stores the names and ratings of all the most popular types of automation, relay protection, low-voltage installations and other circuit elements. In addition, the database contains graphic symbols of all these elements, which will make it possible to make an understandable power supply scheme or even a separate switchboard. The software is completely in Russian and you can also download it for free.
  3. Eagle(Easily Applicable Graphical Layout Editor). This software package will allow you not only to draw single-line power supply diagrams, but also to independently develop a printed circuit board drawing. As for the latter, drawing can be carried out both manually and without your own participation (in automatic mode). To date, there is both a paid and a free version of the Eagle program. For home use, it will be enough to download the version with the designation "Freeware" (there are some restrictions in relation to the maximum size of the usable area of the printed circuit board). The disadvantage of this software package is that it is not officially Russified, although if you try a little, you can find a localization on the Internet, which will allow you to draw electrical diagrams of apartments and houses without obstacles.
  4. dip trace. Another popular program for drawing electrical circuits and creating traces for printed circuit boards. The program is simple and easy to use, besides it is completely in Russian. The interface allows you to design a printed circuit board in three-dimensional form, using a database with ready-made electrical circuit elements. You can evaluate the full functionality of the software only for money, but there is also a stripped-down free version, which will be quite enough for a novice electrician.
  5. ". A completely free program for drawing electrical circuits on a computer. From the official site you can download it in Russian and the full version. In addition to modeling power supply projects for apartments, houses and other types of premises, in this software package you can easily draw up a diagram in which the most suitable ratings of machines, relay protection, etc. will immediately be provided. A nice addition to this software is a database with stickers that can be printed and pasted in your own switchboard for graphic designation of all circuit elements according to GOST.
  6. . One of the free versions of the popular AutoCAD editor is AutoCAD Electrician. Briefly about this software, we can say the following: the functionality is suitable for both beginners and professional electricians working in the field of energy. The interface is simple and easy to understand. All functions are in Russian, so you can easily use AutoCAD to draw electrical wiring diagrams for wiring around the house or apartment.
  7. Elf. An interesting name for a simple program for modeling power supply circuits in construction drawing. The software package itself is no less interesting and multifunctional. With the help of the "Elf Design" program, you can build power supply drawings of any complexity. In addition, software helps with a suitable denomination, etc. Elf Design is a completely free software package in Russian.

You can see some of the listed programs on video reviews:

AutoCAD Electrical

KOMPAS-Electric

In addition to the 7 programs provided for drawing electrical circuits, there are more than a dozen editors in which you can draw up a basic plan for the power supply of a house or apartment for free, but other programs have a more complicated interface or problems with the Russian version. We recommend that you give preference to representatives of this rating, so that in the future you do not waste time searching for cracks, user manuals, and the like!

Paid software

We reviewed free programs for drawing up electrical circuits on our own. However, you yourself understand that the paid versions provide a wider range of features and convenient add-ons that will allow you to draw an email diagram on a computer. There are many popular paid programs for drawing electrical circuits. We have provided some of them above, but there is one more program that is worth a little talk about - sPlan. It is one of the easiest to use yet feature rich software packages for wiring diagrams and tracing electronic circuit boards. The interface is convenient, in Russian. The database contains all the most popular graphic elements for drawing electrical circuits.

How to draw diagrams in Word 2003? In order to draw diagrams in Word, you only need your imagination, desire, and the program itself - a text editor that is included in the Microsoft office suite. After trying it once, you can already create any schemes and small topographic schemes. In the future, I will teach you how to do this. You will see that in good hands you can make a whole mini-printing house from a text editor and a color printer.

How to draw diagrams inWord

Before creating diagrams in Word, it would be nice to learn how to create beautiful ones, and use them.

Open a new document: - Start - Programs -Microsoftoffice-MicrosoftofficeWord . Down on the panel Drawing choose an icon Rectangle .

If you do not have this panel, then go to the menu – View – Toolbars – and select - Drawing .

After you click on the icon - Rectangle- you will have such a frame.

Click anywhere in the newly created field. The field will look like this.

You can cut this square in the center (right-click on it and select - Cut out-). Select the rectangle in which we will draw. On the panel - Drawing- open AutoShapes - Basic Shapes - Cube and click the mouse on the field of the selected rectangle.

You should end up with a picture like this.

You can move and resize this cube. To do this, click on this cube to select it. If, when you hover over this cube with the mouse, the cursor takes the form of a cross with arrows at the ends, then this item can be moved. If the cursor takes the form of a double-headed arrow (on knots, which are indicated by small circles), then you can change the size of the object. Make a rectangular shape out of a cube.

Click on the new shape with the right mouse button and select the item from the drop-down menu - Copy .

Then right-click on the free field next to the figure and select - Insert. Do this trick twice.

You can select the ready-made figures you need from the panel - Drawing - AutoShapes - Other AutoShapes .

It should turn out like this.

Now drag these shapes like mine.

Try to make the next figure yourself (again by copying).

You can also insert small drawings from the outside, for example, icons. Just take the icon you need and copy or drag it into place. Here's what we got.

Now let's sign our drawings. To do this, select the frame with the pictures (click on the free place from the pictures to make the frame appear) and select on the panel Drawing icon Inscription .

Now click the mouse on the free field of the frame. It should turn out like this.

We have a new small frame with a cursor. We will write in it. The size of this frame can also be changed.

Create by copying the same inscriptions as mine and move them to their places.

Now let's draw the connecting lines. For this in AutoShapes (on the panel Drawing-) select - Connecting lines . Don't forget to select the main frame before choosing. You can call it " Canvas". After all, we draw on it like on a canvas. I chose as the connecting line - Ledge with an arrow .

This is where you have to be patient and practice. Move the cursor in the form of a cross to the place where you are going to draw the line and click without releasing the left mouse button, drag the line to the place where you need and only then release the mouse button.

If it doesn't work, then cancel your action and select the connecting line again and start over. Each new line must be re-selected on the panel - Drawing .

The lines can be changed by dragging the yellow diamonds on them.

Now let's make a nice background for our drawing. To do this, again select our "canvas" and select everything on the same panel icon - Fill color .

Having chosen the desired color, click on the icon again and make the second click on the free field of the "canvas". Or, first click on the "canvas", and then on the fill icon.

Here's what we got.

So that our individual drawings and icons do not move in different directions, it is necessary to select each element (and connecting lines too) (click on each element while holding the " ctrl until all items are selected). Here, too, you have to sweat. Even I don't always get it right the first time.

Now gently right-click on some selected element (for example, on the monitor icon) and select - groupingGroup .

Practice a little and you can easily quickly and easily create any diagrams in Word .

Note

By the way, the thickness of all lines can be changed. To do this, select the required line by clicking on it and select on the panel - Drawing - Icon - Linetype . But this must be done before grouping. Frames with inscriptions can also be filled with any color (you can also after grouping).

Instruction

You can draw the usual simple block diagram if you have computer installed text editor Word, one of the modules of the popular Microsoft Office. Before the scheme on the computer, consider how its main elements will be located, their shape and how it will be oriented - like a “portrait” or like an “album”.

  • Domestic system of graphic symbols on electrical circuits in 2019

Wiring diagrams must be attached to the documents for each electronic device. In order to draw such a scheme in compliance with all the rules and arrange it clearly and competently, you need to know about some of the features of such a specific work.

You will need

  • - paper;
  • - pencil;
  • - ruler.

Instruction

Electric build on sheets of checkered or graph paper. It can also be done on a drawing board. To get rid of the line on the sheet later, scan the finished diagram, save the file and, using a graphical editor such as MtPaint, remove the . This will make it more contrasty.

There are special stencils with which you can greatly simplify the process of creating electrical circuits. Such stencils are specialists who constantly deal with these schemes. The stencil greatly speeds up the creation of schemes, and also improves the quality of the finished drawing. However, keep in mind that you can only work with such stencils with a mechanical pencil. It is most convenient to draw a diagram with a pencil with a rod with a diameter of 0.5 mm.

Many specialists use computer graphics editors to create electronic circuits. In this way, you can perform much faster and better. And in order to automate your own work as much as possible, before starting to draw a diagram, create a special library of symbols needed in the process of constructing a diagram. Its use will greatly simplify the creation of the scheme.

You can also prepare an additional mathematical model of the electronic circuit. For such work, for example, the MicroCAP program is suitable. However, such a scheme will not be carried out according to domestic standards, moreover, it is quite difficult.

Carefully follow the numbering of all elements of the circuit and be sure to check all the details after constructing the drawing.

Schemes are used for visual representation of information in text documents: textbooks, articles, various methodological manuals. Its construction is possible in various programs. The simplest can be done using the Word application.

Working in a Word document with text, you may come across pictures, diagrams, drawings. By inserting various objects into the text, it becomes more visual, and the one who reads it perceives the information better.

In this article, we will look at two ways in which you can create a diagram in the text editor MS Word - this is a SmartArt drawing and inserting regular Shapes. I will show in Word 2010, but these screenshots will also work if you have Word 2007, 2013 or 2016 installed.

The site already has articles: how to add a picture to Word, and how to make a graph in Word. By clicking on the links, you can read them and make your document interesting and more informative.

How to draw diagrams with SmartArt

You add a diagram to a text editor by inserting a SmartArt graphic into your document. To do this, go to the tab and in the group "Illustrations" click on the button "SmartArt".

This window will appear. In it you need to choose the appropriate picture. On the left, click on the section, in the example "Hierarchy", and select one of the proposed drawings. On the right is the preview area, see how it looks and what it is more suitable for.

Now let's start placing blocks. You can delete unnecessary ones by selecting it with the mouse and clicking the "Delete" button. Remove, thus, all unnecessary rectangles.

Next, you need to add blocks. Select the one under which you want to insert additional ones, and on the tab "Add Shape", in the list, click on the item "Add Shape Below".

After that, select the top rectangle again and add another one below. Here you can also choose to add the desired object above the selected block, in front of it, or behind it.

After you make the previous point, you need to type the text. Select the diagram area and on the tab "Working with SmartArt"- "Constructor" click on the button "Text area". Or on the left border, click on the button with two small arrows.

A small window will open on the side. In it you need to enter the text for each of the blocks. Here, the levels are marked with markers, and by clicking in front of the marker, you can see where the text will be entered.

Write next to each marker what text should be in which object.

When everything is filled in, the window for adding text can be closed by clicking on the cross in it.

Now you can work on the appearance of the circuit itself. To do this, select it and go to the tab "Working with SmartArt"- "Designer". In the SmartArt Styles group, you can choose any other style.

You can also "Change Colors" diagrams by clicking on the corresponding button.

If the selected view does not suit you, you can change it in the corresponding group. Hover over any of the suggested layouts to see what your diagram will look like. If this layout is more suitable, click on it to select.

By going to the tab "Working with SmartArt"- "Format" you can change any shape or text. For example, select a shape, press "Change Shape" and click on any other from the proposed list. For each, you can change the fill, outline, or add an effect.

In the same way for text, select it and you can apply one of the ready-made styles, change the fill, outline or add an effect.

In the end, I got this scheme.

How to draw an arrow diagram using Shapes

You can make diagrams in Word in another way, without using ready-made templates, but create it by inserting suitable shapes into the document.

To do this, open the tab, click on the "Shapes" button and click on the one you need from the list, it can be an oval, rectangle, rhombus, and more.

After that, the cursor will change from a stick to a plus sign. Use it to draw a shape in the right place in the document. Then you will see a tab "Drawing Tools"- "Format". On it, click on the "Shapes" button again and click on the one you need in the list. Add them all like this.

If you have drawn an object on a sheet and you need to move it a little, then you can do this with the mouse, capturing it beyond its border. Or select it, hold down the "Ctrl" key and move it using the arrows on the keyboard.

Next, let's connect the blocks with straight lines or arrows. Select one of them to open the tab "Drawing Tools"- "Format". Then click "Shapes" and from the drop-down list, click, for example, on the arrow. Draw an arrow so that it points directly to the block itself. You can connect multiple arrows with a straight line.

You can read more about how to make arrows in Word in the article by clicking on the link.

To draw a straight horizontal or vertical line while drawing an arrow, press and hold the Shift key .

Using a straight line and an arrow, I managed to draw just such a diagram.

Now let's change the appearance of the arrows. Select them in turn, and for each you can choose one of the ready-made styles, or click "Shape Outline" and choose the color, arrow thickness, and more.

By clicking "Shape Effects" you can add one of the proposed effects. I chose shade.

Having drawn and changed the appearance of all the arrows, we move on to the text. Select one rectangle and on the tab "Drawing Tools"- "Format" press the button "Draw an inscription". A plus sign will appear instead of the cursor. Draw them a rectangle for the inscription in the desired block.

As you can see, the label rectangle is filled with white and has an outline. Let's take this away. Click on it and on the tab "Drawing Tools"- "Format" select "shape fill"- "No fill".

We repeat the same for the contour: “Shape contour” - “No contour”. Do this for all blocks with text.

The next step is formatting the written text. Select the text and on the "Home" tab, select the font, size, color and center it.

So, we changed the appearance of the arrows and the text in the diagram, it remains to work with the blocks. Select any of them with the mouse by clicking on it - a tab will open "Drawing Tools"- "Format". In the Shape Styles group, click on the one you like. Or use the Fill, Path and Effects buttons to make any look that suits you best.

If, having drawn a diagram, you notice that you need to change one of the blocks, for example, a rectangle to a rhombus, then you do not need to delete it and draw a rhombus, you can simply replace it. Select the rectangle, for example, go to the tab "Drawing Tools"- "Format" and click on the button, which shows a line with markers. Select from the list that opens "Change Shape" and specify which one to insert.

While doing home repairs, I was faced with the need to draw a single-line power supply diagram. Everything could have been done by hand, but I decided to do it on a computer. This review is about free programs for preparing single-line electrical circuits.

What is a single line power supply scheme?

A one-line diagram is a technical document that GENERALLY gives the person working with it an idea of:
Connection points of the object;

  1. The main loads and their indicators (power of machines, their nominal value, marking, etc.);
  2. Supply cable (again, all its characteristics: type, permitted current, etc.);
  3. Rated current of the input device at the connection point and protective switching devices (similarly);
  4. The main consumers of electricity at the facility (similarly).

In fact, without a single-line power supply circuit, it is UNREAL to carry out electrical work. Since the main thing in the document is information.

What is a circuit diagram

A circuit diagram is a drawing showing the complete electrical and magnetic and electromagnetic connections of the elements of an object, as well as the parameters of the components that make up the object depicted in the drawing.

Why is the circuit called single-line?

A single-line diagram is the same electrical circuit diagram, but made in a simplified form: all lines of single-phase and three-phase networks are depicted as one line.
Example of a single-line electrical circuit

How to draw a single-line electrical circuit

There are a lot of programs for drawing on a computer (yes, electrical circuits are not drawn, but drawn!) But all of them are usually difficult to master if you are not doing it professionally. However, I have found a few that are easy for the average person to use.

Program 1-2-3 scheme

The HAGER software 1-2-3-diagram, Semiolog and hLsys Lume are distributed free of charge. You can and should download from the official website http://www.hagersystems.ru/software/. And do not look for it in file cleaning and garbage collection. Program in Russian.

The program "1-2-3 scheme" allows you to select the body of the electrical panel in accordance with the requirements for the degree of protection, equip it with protective and switching modular devices, set the hierarchy for connecting modular devices and automatically generate a single-line diagram of the shield.

The program allows you to correctly select the series of the case and its size, based on the number of modular devices, arbitrarily mark the modular devices. The element base of the program 1-2-3-scheme contains the actual article numbers of equipment supplied to the Russian market and certified according to Russian and European standards. Using the 1-2-3-scheme, you can correctly draw up a specification, create a single-line electrical panel diagram and draw its appearance.

It is clear that it is not at all necessary to use the element base of the HAGER manufacturer. The main thing is the result, that is, a single-line diagram, the correct size of the shield body (when there is enough space for all the machines) and, as a bonus, label printing, which can then be pasted on the shield above the machines.
Using the program 1-2-3 scheme, you can easily and with minimal time to create an electrical circuit board for housing construction. In order to make better use of the program's capabilities and make better use of time, hager has developed an interface between this new program and the semiolog labeling program.
For work, you can use only the mouse, develop and print a diagram of an electrical panel and labels with designations for the elements of the circuit for the shield.

An example of an assembled board with consumer group markings made in the Semiolog program.

XL Pro² Program by Legrand

The second program, also from the manufacturer, is Legrand's XL Pro², which simplifies the design of low-voltage switchgear (LVD).
The program allows switchboard designers to design switchboards and switchboards of the XL³ series in two ways:

  1. using a single line diagram.

The program will automatically determine the type of the complete device, calculate its cost, and place the equipment. XL Pro² automatically makes all changes, which makes it as easy as possible to design and calculate various types of cabinets.
XL Pro is free and available for download by registered Extranet users.

PROGRAM XL PRO³

The XL Pro³ software simplifies the design of low voltage switchgear (LVD).
The program allows designers of low-voltage switchgear to design distribution cabinets and switchboards manufactured by Legrand for currents up to 6300 A using two methods:

  1. select Legrand equipment from the proposed list, necessary for cabinet assembly;
  2. using a single line diagram.

The program will automatically determine the type of the complete device, calculate its cost, and place the equipment. XL Pro³ automatically makes all changes, which makes it as easy as possible to design and calculate various types of cabinets.
You can download the program on the official website - http://www.legrand.ru/ru/scripts/ru/publigen/content/templates/previewMultiPhoto.asp?P=1715&L=EN
