How to tell if your Apple Lightning cable is fake What is MFi and why everyone should know it

You don't want your iPhone to crash due to low-quality accessories.

9 years have passed since the first iPhone appeared, during which time thousands of accessories and all kinds of gadgets that are compatible with Apple smartphones and tablets have appeared on the shelves of electronics stores.

Of course, it is Apple that produces the coolest accessories, but the company's assortment does not have all the necessary pieces, and the price for them often bites. Third-party manufacturers come to the rescue, and here a new term appears in the everyday life of buyers " MFi". Let's figure out what kind of animal it is and what it is eaten with.

This program was officially announced on January 11, 2005, after which third-party accessory manufacturers began to en masse to apply to Apple for certification.

What is MFi

Program MFi (Made For iPhone / iPod / iPad)- a list of special standards for developers of accessories compatible with Apple technology. Requirements describe headphone jack, Lightning port, and AirPlay compatibility.

MFi certification is exclusively for companies that own their own production, resellers are not eligible for such a license. The application process is quite simple, but requires confirmation of identity from third-party services. All necessary documents are sent electronically, if they satisfy the Apple representatives, then the applicant will receive a letter with detailed instructions for further actions.

The procedure for obtaining a license can vary greatly and depends on the type of equipment and accessories produced. In some cases, you will need to provide finished product samples for testing, and sometimes Apple specialists are sent to inspect the production itself.

As a result, certification can take months or even years. We, in turn, must understand that manufacturers who go to obtain an MFi-certificate make a lot of effort, spend time and resources in order to compare favorably with most competitors on the market.

Only companies that have joined the MFi program are allowed to place a special logo on the packaging of the devices they manufacture.

In other words, if you see an accessory for iPhone or iPad, which has a corresponding mark, you can not worry about compatibility and not be afraid that the device can disable Apple equipment.

Why Look for MFi Accessories

Headsets and earphones certified will have the correct pinout on the plug. This not only ensures correct operation of the right and left channels or microphone, but also allows you to control music playback with a remote control or buttons on the device. The keys will act exactly the same way as the buttons on the standard headset.

Lightning cable with the MFi logo is guaranteed to allow you to charge your device and transfer data at the fastest available speed. The plug will fit snugly into the connector and will not fall out. Such an accessory will never cause problems or damage.

Charger MFi certified will charge our devices with the correct amperage and meet all relevant requirements. Such a device will not overheat and ignite.

Gamepads and acoustics they will 100% support all iOS chips, connect to any Apple gadget and take full advantage of Apple technologies.

Where to Find MFi Accessories

In Russia they are in re: Store... Here are just a few examples:

The Lightning connector is a proprietary technology owned by Apple, so the original iPhone cable is equipped with a special chip. This chip allows a device, iPhone, iPod or iPad, to "identify" the cable and easily charge from it or transfer files.

But most of the original cables have a significant drawback, they fray and tear at the plug, if you often put the iPhone on charge. As a result, after a year and a half, the owner of the apple device is forced to look for a new cable. If 1,590 rubles (price as of January 2016) is not such a serious amount for your pocket, you can take the original and not suffer. But if you throw out one and a half thousand rubles for a cable that will be frayed in the same way in a few months, you don't want to, you need to look for an analogue.

There are more analogues on the modern market than original products. Popular brands are counterfeited in huge quantities, so looking at the logo on the packaging is useless. So, all analogs are conventionally divided into two categories: unnamed Chinese cheap cables and cables labeled MFi.

Cheap chinese cables

If you go to any popular online store from China, you will find a huge number of similar offers in the search. Despite the tempting cheapness, the noun-name cable will be expensive. The fact is that if the cable is not certified by Apple, the connected device will constantly give an error message, and this is at best.

Connecting an uncertified cheap cable threatens:

  • damage to the iOS device,
  • damage to the connector (a fake connector can simply break off and get stuck in it),
  • the inability to properly charge the gadget or transfer files to it.
Do not chase ghostly economy, it is expensive. If you want to buy a cheaper cable and have a guarantee that you will not be deceived, choose MFi products.

MFi cable

The MFi mark means that the cable is designed specifically for Apple products (Made For iPhone, iPad, iPod) and, most importantly, its manufacturer has received official approval from the "Apple" corporation.

Apple sells licenses to manufacture accessories for its devices. Previously, according to the terms of the company, third-party manufacturers had to deduct Apple up to 10% of sales. However, now the conditions have become softer, now Apple receives $ 4 from each cable. This means that a real MFI cable cannot cost less than $ 5 in any way.

MFi cable does not give error during use. With it, you can quickly charge your device and not be afraid to leave your iPhone charging overnight. And most importantly, the MFi cable is cheaper than the untwisted original.

Pay attention to the MFI cable for Apple iPhone Parnter: minimalistic white design, quality materials (no plastic burrs), high data transfer rate and a maximum load current of up to 2.4 A, allowing you to charge both your iPhone and iPad. We give a guarantee and offer a reasonable price.

Save smartly.

A fresh continuation of the review has been released -.

The circus tent is back! Last time it was with micro-USB cables. But true believers and users alike were upset that Apple's Lightning cables were not included in the circus performances. Only today, and for the first time in the Russian Internet, sixteen cable artists will show your iPhone, iPad and iPod a performance with horses. After the presentation, someone will be overwhelmed with pride, and someone will throw their cable into the trash bin out of anger, but no one will leave indifferent.

Someday you will find that your original Apple Lightning cable will rip near the Lightning connector with frequent use. Nothing personal just business. And the accessories business can be very profitable. What could be easier than buying the same original Apple cable instead? You go to a store or store website and see that the cable from Apple costs from 1200 rubles (in the officially American store, $ 19). This price will make someone wonder why a piece of wire is so expensive? At the same time, there are dozens of Lightning cables from other manufacturers, both famous and unnamed, lying nearby, costing from 150 rubles to several thousand. There are hundreds, maybe thousands of manufacturers who produce such cables under different brands. Chinese shopping enthusiasts will find that all major Chinese sites offer Lightning cables from 50 cents per kilogram each. There are hundreds of options. And there is no end to the offer of "100% New Original Genuine Real Authentic Apple Lightning" in packaging with all stickers from $ 3 apiece. And what should you choose?

Let's go from afar ... The rights to the Lightning connector belong to Apple. Third-party manufacturers legally cannot simply take and release a cable with such a connector and sell it in the future. To do this, you need to obtain authorization from Apple's MFi Manufacturing Licensees by fulfilling a number of requirements. Moreover, the manufacturer must deduct $ 4 from Apple for each Lightning connector, i.e. cable. It turns out that a certified MFi (Made for iPod, Made for iPhone, Made for iPad) cable cannot cost less than $ 4.

There are both certified and non-certified cables on sale. Moreover, the market is full of counterfeits for the most popular brands (for example, Apple, Belkin, etc.).

There is another caveat with uncertified Lightning cables. An authentication chip is built into the Lightning connector, with which Apple is trying to fight uncertified accessories. Previously, it was possible to face the fact that the cable stopped working after an iOS update, the device reported an uncertified accessory. But Chinese manufacturers have long since learned to bypass this "problem", such messages have become a rarity. We will definitely check this in the review.

In the review, we will not be able to test all existing cables, there are hundreds or thousands of them. But it will be possible to draw up a rough picture of the market. Let's also try to formulate a general approach to buying Lightning cables.

Our test subjects ...

Original cable from Apple (MFi)

Everyone is familiar with this cable. The cable is thin, medium stiffness. Length 1 meter... Let's call it "Apple".

A small recommendation for the purchase of this cable. This is the most counterfeit Lightning cable. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more counterfeits sold than original cables. Sellers on eBay will gladly sell you such a cable for $ 3 in branded packaging, given that it costs $ 19 in the official Apple store. You need to buy such a cable only in an authorized store in order to reduce the risk of buying a fake.

Original cable from Apple after a couple of years of active use (MFi)

Without a broken cable, the test will be incomplete. Many consumers of Apple products have seen this picture. The cable is absolutely working, but it doesn't look very nice. The test will show if the characteristics of the damaged cable are changing. Let's call it "Apple U".

One of the cheapest cables from Aliexpress

This cable was purchased on Aliexpress for $ 0.67 (40 rubles). He had a couple of tens of thousands of sales and a rating above 96%. By the time the article was published, the lot was removed from the site (but there are plenty of similar lots). Met a similar cable in our offline. The cable is flat, very thin, even translucent. There are burrs on the plastic case. There are different colors. Length 1 meter... Let's call it "Red".

We already encountered a similar cable in the previous review, then it was the CN4 micro-USB cable - one of the worst cables in the test.

KALUOS cable (MFi)

This cable is sold literally everywhere. It is present on all major marketplaces, even in popular and reputable non-Chinese online stores. It is found in our online and offline stores. It's cheap, I bought it for $ 3. The looks and quality are amazing. A thick medium-hard cable, nylon braid, aluminum connector housing - when you take it in your hands, you get the feeling of a very high-quality and expensive product that you want to use. There are two colors: silver and gold. And two lengths. I deliberately took the cable with the maximum length - 1.5 meters... There are some oddities with the MFi certification. MFi logos are indicated and are everywhere, but this brand is not in the Apple database. We will call this cable "KALUOS".

Belkin Cable (MFi)

The main problem with this cable is the sheer amount of counterfeits. Because the brand is incredibly popular, this cable has been hit by an army of counterfeits. It is very difficult to distinguish an original from a fake (even the packaging is completely copied). Our prices range from 500 rubles to several thousand. On different trading platforms from $ 2. From reputable online retailers from $ 10. In the official store, $ 19. I bought on eBay for $ 4. Everything came in branded packaging. The seller swore that the cable was original from Belkin. The cable is thick, of medium rigidity. Length 1.2 meters... Lightning connector like MFi cables (cheap cables usually have a different connector). If it were not for the burrs on the connector housing, I would not have found a single reason (not knowing the price) to recognize this cable as a fake. Considering the price, there is no doubt that this is a fake cable. My recommendation is that if you buy this cable, then only in branded and reputable stores. Otherwise, you can buy this cable for 1,500 rubles, but in fact it turns out to be a cable for $ 2, you cannot distinguish it yourself.

It is what it is. We will call this cable "Belkin".

Lemfo cable (MFi)

MFi certified cable, available from Apple. And not just certified, but a complete copy of the original cable from Apple (the company presents a template). You can only distinguish it from the original Apple cable by the lemfo logo and the absence of the “Designed by Apple ...” inscription on the cables themselves. The same thickness, the same rigidity, the same connectors, no differences. Length 1 meter... I bought it on JD for $ 10. The cable is sold in many other stores, for example at Amazon it costs $ 8. Let's call it "Lemfo".

Cable from YourCharger

We have already met with cables from this manufacturer (seller on eBay) in the previous review. The long (2 meters) micro-USB cable was one of the best in the test. Now it's the turn of the Lightning cable. Length 2 meters... The cable is thick and very flexible. You can buy it only for $ 8. There is also available white and different lengths, up to 5 meters. This cable is for charging only (all wires inside are for power only), you cannot sync data with it. Let's call it "YourCharger".

SNOWKIDS cable (MFi)

The certified cable is present in the Apple database. The cable is thick, of medium rigidity. The connectors are massive. Length 1.3 meters... Creates the feeling of a quality product in the hands. I bought it on JD for $ 10. In China, you can buy it locally for $ 6. The set includes Velcro for cable management. Let's call it "Snowkids".

Nillkin cable

This cable was recommended to me by many earlier. The brand is popular. Thousands of sales on many sites and a customer rating of 100%. I bought on Aliexpress for $ 4.5 from an authorized seller. I saw this cable offline in many places. High-quality packaging with a secret code to check originality (like Xiaomi). The cable is flat, thick and flexible. There are small burrs on the connectors, but in the hands it creates the feeling of a very high-quality product. Length of cable 1.2 meters... The cable has a strap for cable management. Various colors are available. The cable does not have MFi certification, it is not written about it anywhere and the brand is absent from the database. Let's call it "Nillkin".

Triple cable

This cable was already in the previous review, where it showed amazing results (for the micro-USB "tail"). Anonymous cable, 23 cm. Triple - microUSB, Lightning, Apple 30-pin. Cloth braid. Medium thickness, flexible. I bought it a few years ago for less than a dollar on eBay. Let's call it "Triple".

ESK cable (MFi)

MFi certified cable, present in the Apple database. But there are no labels or logos on the cable itself. Full copy of the original cable from Apple (made according to the template). It is impossible to distinguish it, only by the absence of the inscription "Designed by Apple ..." on the cable itself. Length 1 meter... I bought it on JD for $ 10. Let's call it "ESK".

Biaze cable (MFi)

I bought this cable on Aliexpress for $ 6. It had no name, just "MFi certified cable", there were "confirmation" photos. Customer rating 100%. Upon receipt, the Biaze logo appeared on the cable. I did not find this brand in the Apple database. At first glance, it may seem that this is a 100% copy of the original Apple cable (made according to the template), but when compared, it turned out that the Biaze cable is thinner. Length of cable 1 meter... Let's call it "Biaze".

Just cheap cable # 1

I bought this cable for $ 0.62 on Aliexpress. The main challenge was to find the cheapest cable that is similar to the Apple cable. Most popular Lightning cable on Aliexpress with over forty thousand sales, customer rating above 95%. Not a cable, but a dream :). It looks like an Apple cable, but the differences are immediately apparent. The connectors are different in detail, the cable itself is thinner. Length of cable 1 meter... Let's call it "Fake 1".

Just cheap cable # 2

I bought this cable in some store in Moscow for 200 rubles. Just looking for the cheapest cable offline: "Give me the cheapest cable, iPhone to charge." It looks like an Apple cable, but the differences are immediately apparent. The connectors are different in detail, the cable itself is thinner. Length of cable 1 meter... Let's call it "Fake 2".

Long cheap cable

I bought this cable a long time ago for $ 1 on eBay. Length of cable 2 meters(bought just for the length). This cable and YourCharger are the longest in the review. The cable is similar to Apple's, but the differences are immediately apparent. The connectors are different in detail, the cable itself is thinner. Let's call it "Fake 3".

LG micro-USB cable and Lightning adapter

LG's cable is one of the best micro-USB cables from the previous roundup and a small micro-USB to Lightning adapter. There are many different adapters (including certified ones). In this review, we will use the cheapest uncertified adapter for $ 0.5. Let's call the cable "LG".

Output power test

In the test, we will use the Tronsmart TS-UC5PC charger. This quality multi-port charger has recently participated in.

Using a load module (power dissipation 10 W), we will check the output power of the cables. Connect the cable to the charger. Connect the Lightning to micro-USB adapter to the end of the cable. We connect the adapter to the tester, which has a micro-USB connector. This tester is not the best, but it allows you to use a minimum number of adapters. Connect the load module to the tester itself.

The Lightning to micro-USB adapter will increase the resistance, but this is not important for us, since all cables are tested under the same conditions.

The test results will show which cables have lower total resistance (wires themselves, connectors, soldering).

Let's connect the load module to the charger directly.

5.05 V, 1.89 A, i.e. 9.54W

Now let's connect the cables one by one and take measurements.

Apple: 4.52V, 1.69A, 7.64W.
Apple U: 4.41V, 1.65A, 7.26W
RED: 3.6V, 1.34A, 4.82W.
Belkin: 4.18V, 1.57A, 6.56W.
YourCharger: 4.29V 1.6A 6.86W
Nillkin: 4.40V, 1.64A, 7.22W.
Lemfo: 4.54 V, 1.69 A, 7.67 W.
KALUOS: 3.95 V, 1.47 A, 5.8 W.
Biaze: 4.21 V, 1.57 A, 6.60 W.
Snowkids: 4.61V, 1.72A, 7.93W.
Fake 3: 3.2V, 1.19A, 3.81W.
Triple: 4.51 V, 1.68 A, 7.58 W.
ESK: 4.20 V, 1.56 A, 6.55 W.
Fake 1: 3.69 V, 1.37 A, 5.06 W.
Fake 2: 4.09V, 1.52A, 6.22W.
LG: 4.38V, 1.63A, 7.14W.

We will sort by output power and summarize it into a single diagram. Bigger is better.

Snowkids is the undisputed leader, it has the least resistance of the tested.

Measuring the amperage while charging the iPad

We will use iPad mini (third generation) and measure the current at the outlet from the charger. iPad is almost empty. In an ideal situation, it should consume 2 A.

Only 4 out of 16 cables provide 2.01 amp amperage. All others do not allow the iPad to run at full amperage. What does it mean? Roughly speaking, for example, with the RED cable, your iPad will charge 2.25 times longer than with cables: Apple, Lemfo, Snowkids.

Measurements of the amperage while charging the battery pack

We will use a discharged Yoobao battery pack and a Lightning to micro-USB adapter.

The higher the amperage, the better.

The picture is completely repeated with measurements of the output power.

Compatibility test

I planned to make tables, but there was no need. During the entire testing period, there were no problems with any of the cables. Whichever side of the connector I connected them to the charger, neither the iPhone 6 nor the iPad reported that an uncertified accessory was connected. The devices were running iOS 9.2. It was the same with the computer. iPhone and iPad were perfectly defined in iTunes and allowed data synchronization. The only exception is the YourCharger cable, with which the computer did not see the device, tk. the cable is for charging only.

conclusions

In our test, only 4 out of 16 cables provide the maximum amperage for the iPad mini. Our heroes: Apple(MFi), Snowkids(MFi), Lemfo(MFi), triple cable.

Does the MFi logo guarantee that you get the highest quality cable that will charge your device at full amperage? It does not guarantee, but the chances of purchasing a quality cable increase.

Does the lack of MFi certification guarantee that there will be charging or data transfer problems? Absolutely all cables from the review charged iPad and iPhone with iOS 9.2 without any problems without any reports of uncertified accessories. Absolutely all cables from the review provided a connection to a personal computer for transferring data without warning.

If you need a cable and you are ready to easily part with 1,500 rubles, then calmly buy the original cable Apple at any authorized store. You will get excellent quality (for a couple of years until it breaks again) without compromise.

If you want to buy a cheaper cable, then the general recommendations for buying are as follows (if you do not clearly know which cable to buy):
- the packaging must have the MFi logo (Made for iPod, Made for iPhone, Made for iPad)
- make sure the brand is in
- the cable should cost more than $ 5 (including deductions and quality components)

Cable Snowkids is the absolute leader in the review. It outperformed all the cables in the review in terms of measured characteristics, including the original cable from Apple. With this cable you can charge any device from Apple with the maximum output power, and with the adapter you can easily charge any device without significant losses. The quality of the cable materials is excellent. The length is 1 meter 30 centimeters, which is longer than most Lightning cables. There is velcro for cable laying. You can buy it on the site for $ 10.5 with express delivery to your door in Russia. I'm not a fan of JD (if anyone else remembers how I fought them over the leakage of personal data of users), but now with coupon jd558, this cable can be bought for only $ 2.5. You will be sorry if you don't take this opportunity.

If you want to save a little, you can buy a cable Nillkin... It is not MFi certified. You will lose very little in power output, but you will get a quality product. The cable is made of quality materials, it is flat and does not get tangled. You can choose the color you like. There is a strap for cable management. This cable costs from $ 4, we have from 300 rubles. It is sold just everywhere (you can easily find it on Aliexpress or eBay, there are hundreds of offers).

If you need versatility, acceptable quality at the lowest price, then take a high-quality LG micro-USB cable from the previous review, it costs from $ 2, and the simplest uncertified Lightning adapter is cheaper than $ 1 (I met lots of 3 pieces for $ 1 ). There are complaints that such adapters are fragile and often break, keep this in mind.

If you need a long cable, then the situation is dire. More or less, only the YourCharger cable coped with the test, but the drawdown is significant. Considering its cost, it can be recommended.

Of course, it is worth mentioning the "cheap" triple rag-braided cable. This cable surprised the second time. I don't use it, but its performance is excellent (due to its short length). Through it, the test iPad was charged with maximum amperage, as with high-quality MFi cables.

We must also mention the KALUOS cable. It is perfectly described by the proverb: "All that glitters is not gold." If I was offered to choose according to its appearance and tactile sensations, then I would certainly choose it. In fact, the cable turned out to be complete rubbish.

Hello everyone, reviews on micro usb cables can be seen on Musik almost every day, which cannot be said about lightning, I decided to fix this point and make a small comparative test of eight cables from different brands.
I chose for testing as certified Mfi cables and simple ones that do not have a certificate.

First, a little theory.

I think everyone in my life was faced with the fact that after a certain amount of time, it became necessary to replace the standard cable. The reason could be as damage to the old, loss, etc. Owners of Android devices have no big problems with choosing a new cable, both in terms of choosing a model / brand and financially. The price of a more or less high-quality cable for android ranges from 1 to 4 dollars.
But not everything is so simple with the choice of cable for Apple products. On the market there are both expensive certified and simple ones for half a dollar - a dollar is not certified. What's the difference?
The Lightning connector is copyrighted by Apple; third-party manufacturers cannot manufacture products with this connector without a license. Especially for this, the Mfi program (Made for iPod, Made for iPhone, Made for iPad) was announced in 2005, i.e. "Made for iPhone, iPod." Seeing the MFi mark on your headphones or cable can be sure that the pinouts of these accessories are absolutely correct and that the fixture will work as expected. The cost of a license fee for each Lightning connector is $ 4, which means that in theory, a cable with Mfi certification cannot cost less than $ 4. ...
With this, everything is clear, but how can you prove that the cable is really certified? What prevents any unscrupulous manufacturer from simply applying a sign "Mfi" for products and sell under the guise of certified? And the point for everyone is that in each Mfi cable there is a chip with a unique code embedded. The code must be present in the database. Thanks to this code, the device recognizes the cable as certified and operates normally - charging / data transfer.
Non-certified cables do not have a chip in the connector, but Chinese manufacturers have learned to bypass this protection. Such cables can work normally for a year or only 1 day. Most often, after updating ios, the cables stop charging and a warning is displayed that a non-certified accessory is connected.

Let's move on from theory to test participants.

8.

Pushingbest 1m / 2A

A cable from a little-known manufacturer, nylon with braided, the only one of the monitored that came without any packaging. The connectors have metal inserts that are poorly glued, one of them has come off. The cable is the thickest of all that have been tested, rigid, the actual length (excluding connectors) is 92cm, while the declared 100cm. Not certified, no warning popped up when charging ipad.

CRDCsmart 1.2m / 2A / Mfi

The cable is braided, fabric, connectors are made entirely of metal. The manufacturer claims that it is certified, but for some reason I could not find it in the Apple MFi database, maybe I was looking badly (the iPad charges without problems, there were no warnings about a non-certified cable.

Choetech 1m / 2.4A Mfi

I think we all already know this brand for their cheap micro usb cables, which cannot be said for lightning. The price came out a little over $ 6, this is the average for MFI. As for the cable itself, this is the toughest of all that I had in my hands. This cable can be used to cut logs)). It is covered with a mesh on top, bends well and retains its shape, I think there is a screen inside. The MFI cable is also present in the Apple database.

Mcdodo 1m / 2.4A Silver Mfi

Mcdodo 1m / 2.4A Silver Mfi - most of all similar to the original cable from Apple, but this is not a complete copy of it. The connectors are similar in thickness and shape to the original Apple, but inferior in flexibility. The connectors are metal and have brand logos.

Mcdodo 1m / 2.1A Gray

Non-certified mcdodo cable with cloth braid, pleasant to the touch, flexible. Metal connectors with plastic inserts.

Original cable from Apple (included with iPad)

The original cable from Apple, after a year of active use, bared to the metal braid, but it still performs its function.

ORICO 23 cm White 4 in 1

A versatile cable from Orico, a kind of travel cable that you can carry with you. Does not have a certificate, when charging apple devices, a message about a non-certified accessory was sometimes displayed.

Cable from Zapals 3 in 1

The three-headed lanyard was received for free in the days of daily freebies. The quality is lame, there are burrs, casting irregularities. The lightning cable does not have a certificate, the technical characteristics are not impressive.

Testing

The test bench was represented by an Orico QSE-5U charger, Juwei testers, a usb load (with smooth adjustment) and a board for connecting cables. In order to minimize losses, I soldered the board and the load directly to the tester.

In the first test, I compared the voltage drop at a current of 1A. Without the cable, the voltage was 5.12V. The results obtained during the verification of the cables themselves were summarized in a general table.
The best values were shown by copies with MFI, the cable from the ignition cable refused to work at all.

The next test is similar to the first, only the current was increased to 2 amperes. The leadership of cables with MFI has been preserved here as well. I don’t know why, but the ignition cable didn’t want to work here either.

And finally, I tested the cables directly in the field, i.e. when charging a device from Apple, namely ipad Air 2013. Through the native cable, the iPad took 1.97A, expected more, perhaps such a small value is due to the fact that the cable is not the first freshness. Cables with MFI turned out to be the best in this test, but in fairness I want to note that Mcdodo without MFI and Pushingbest without MFI showed good values, coped with 2A. The cables from the ignition and Orico did not pass more than 1A.
