How to delete channels on samsung TV. How to delete unwanted channel on Samsung and LG TV

Digital TV appeared in our country several years ago. Since then, it has been a frequently used channel connection option. And this is justified. Indeed, using digital TV, channels do not need to be tuned several times, just one is enough. Also, you do not have to adjust the antenna every time or re-tune the TV. In addition, there is no interference in the form of stripes or snow. Of course, if there is a breakdown on the tower, then there will be no signal and you will not be able to watch your favorite show.

A television format such as DTV is most popular among users. To connect to free channels, you do not need to call a specialist; you can do this yourself. The main thing is that the TV supports the DVB-C tuner.

Samsung TVs have such tuners. Moreover, both on old models and on new ones, you can make a similar setting. This is what we will talk about in the article.

How to tune digital channels on a Samsung TV

High quality television has long been included in our lives. Almost every house and apartment has a new TV system, and some of the brands of TVs have (for example, Samsung).

At the same time, smart technology requires a smart user for itself. Since it will take some skills to set up digital TV. There is nothing difficult in setting up television, but you still need to be very careful and know how to connect a TV to a TV. Many Samsung TV users often ask questions about how to set up TV on a Korean TV.

How to auto-tune broadcasting on Samsung

Set up digital television you can independently or use the services of a telemaster. The setting is carried out immediately after the first connection. On Samsung TVs, the setup steps are similar. Such actions will not take much time. Even if you've never done a TV setup before, it shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes. If you do everything right, you can enjoy watching channels in good quality.

The setting can be done automatically or manually. Everything will depend on what year of release your TV is. Newer models have a special tuner that helps you quickly tune your TV. You just need to connect the antenna to the TV. If you have a Samsung TV with the new Smart TV function, then you can do auto-tuning. For this you need to do the following:

  • We go to the Samsung menu and select "Broadcast".
  • A window will open, in it you need to select "Auto-tuning".
  • Click on the "Start" button.
  • Now select the "Full" search mode and start the scanning process.
  • This completes the television setup. Now it remains to wait for the Samsung TV to independently search for available channels and store them in memory.

It so happens that the channels disappear. In this case, you will have to configure special modules that will become available in the TV menu. After setting all the items, you need to check the quality of the transmitted signal. If the channel has not been activated, you need to go through all the settings once again.

How to set up Samsung manually

Manual method applies to old Samsung models... To do this, you need to do the following:

  • Select the "Menu" button on the control panel.
  • Now you need to press "Channel", select "Antenna" and change it to "Cable".
  • The Country submenu will be available. Here you will need to enter a password, pin code, whatever you want to call. For each TV, it will be different. For example, the code is four zeros. Now you need to put the country of residence. Select "Russia" from the list, if not, then you need to select others or "Eastern Europe".
  • Now you need to go to the "Cable parameters" section. It is usually found in the main menu. If it is not there, then you need to look in autotuning. In some Samsung models, the developers decided to do just that.
  • After you have found the desired section, you need to open it and insert the parameters: beginning - 298000 KHz, ending - 362000 KHz. All other parameters are already there.
  • Now you need to open autotuning. If only digital TV is used, then this item must be selected. You can also install analogue channels or digital TV plus analogue. Then click "Next".
  • Now you need to open the search mode and drive in "Network". Click on the "Search" button. We are waiting for a few minutes. This is the time for the search and tuning of the necessary channels to end automatically. Then click "Ok".

After the system performs a search, all the channels that the cable TV managed to find will be automatically saved. But, only those that you have selected will be shown.

How to Delete Channels on Samsung TV

If you don't need some kind of channel, it can be removed... To do this, you need to follow simple steps:

After you confirm the actions, the channels will be removed from the list.

If you are a parent of underage children, after automatic tuning, carefully watch all the channels from the first to the last. Unexpectedly, channels with the theme "+18" may appear for you. Remove them or block them.

Useful advice

After your TV has found all the possible channels, you can independently assign them serial numbers and give a name. Set-top boxes and many cable connections do it themselves.

The modern mobile phone has long ceased to be just a means of communication. Now we listen to music on it, install programs, send and receive electronic mail, we exchange files, and this is not a complete list of functions.

Instructions

Turn on the phone, go to the Messages menu, then Settings, select Email Messages, then Accounts, Email. Enter the name of the mailbox. Then select its type - POP3. Then enter your email address (mailbox name without the "@" symbol). Next, enter the password for accessing the box. Save your changes.

Select from the configured Internet connection profiles the desired one. So that you can customize mail in the phone, the data transmission service of the cellular operator must be correctly configured and activated. In the next window, enter the address of the incoming mail server, usually it looks like pop.yandex.ru (it depends on the e-mail server, you can see it in the box settings on the computer). In the "Pop3 Port" field, enter the value 110. The checkbox in the "Security »No need to install. Next, enter the address of the outgoing mail server, it usually looks like smtp.yandex.ru, do not check the box in the "Security" option. Save the settings.

Go to the "Messages" menu, then select the "Settings" item, go to the "Email messages" item, then select "Email Profiles", select the SIM card. Enter the name associated with this operator, then enter the operator's access name, do not fill in the "Login" and "Password" fields.

Next, enter the dns server settings provided by your operator. Check with your mobile operator for the parameters of the outgoing message server in order to be able to send letters through the mail program. You can find this information on the operator's website.

Launch the "Email" application, select "Options", then "Account Management", then select "New" and click "OK". Select an email client, enter your name and address. Next, enter the name of the incoming mail server, password, similarly for the outgoing mail server. Then answer “No” to the question of using additional settings. Nobody will even remember about tube TVs, and the presence of a liquid crystal brother in your home will not surprise anyone. But, unfortunately, not everyone tries to set up an LCD TV, content with a CRT image.

Presets

The most important parameters in setting image quality are brightness and contrast. However, before calibrating brightness and contrast, you need to perform a few simple steps that will allow you to adjust these parameters most efficiently. For watching TV it is better to use the Cinema mode. Of the color modes, "Warm" is optimal. For an overall better picture, turn off Power Saving Mode, Dynamic Contrast, Backlight, and Picture Mode.

Brightness and contrast

Brightness affects the black level in the image, and it is better to use the special “Pluge pattern” image to adjust it. This image is a series of stripes of different tone - from black to white. Open it on your TV in an accessible way (as a rule, modern LCD TVs have flesh connectors, so the image can be opened from a USB flash drive). Then you need to set the "brightness" parameter to the maximum position so that all stripes are clearly visible, and then reduce it so that the leftmost stripe merges with the black background.

Contrast is best adjusted in the dark, as it determines the white level. It is necessary to set the value almost to the maximum mark (as a rule, this is a value of 95), then display the image with the white level window on the screen and increase the "backlight brightness" indicator to the maximum value. After that, reduce the "backlight brightness" until the white no longer harsh the eyes.

Color saturation

The lower the color saturation value, the closer the image is to black and white tones. You can adjust the color saturation in a nature photo, trying to change the value of this parameter until the picture is more realistic. Then you can change the picture to an image of a person and, according to the same principle, pay attention to the color of the skin.

Sharpness setting

You can complete the adjustment by checking the value of the sharpness parameter, which is necessary to obtain an equally high-quality image from different distances. To do this, you can use a special image "Sharpness pattern". This is a black and white picture for testing and adjusting clarity. This image is freely available on the Internet, so just download it from the Internet and open it on your TV. Then you need to sit down at the usual distance when watching TV and, having opened this image, set the clarity to maximum. Then reduce this parameter until the image is normalized (the disappearance of light highlights).

If you used autosearch when setting up digital TV, as I did, you could catch more channels than you need. Usually, channel duplicates are caught. In this article I will explain why this happens and how to deal with it. And also about manual search, and what to do if you found the second multiplex, but did not find the first one and vice versa)

Where do duplicate digital TV channels come from?

So, first, let's figure out where these takes come from. And I will immediately show you with an example to make it clearer. We watch digital TV and find ourselves there.

Let's say you live in Rognedino. We select the first multiplex, we see that there are several towers next to us. The first is located in Sopot and transmits a signal on the frequency of the 30th channel, 546 MHz.

The second, in Roslovla, transmits on the frequency of the 51st channel, 714 MHz... And yes, her signal reaches Rognedino, especially if you have.

There are also towers in Dubrovka and Zhukovka, but they are also broadcast on Channel 30, so we do not take them into account. What do we get in the end?

When we start autosearch, the set-top box will first find 10 channels of the first multiplex at a frequency of 546 MHz, and then the same 10 channels, but already at a frequency of 714 MHz!

And after the completion of the work, you will have twenty channels - two for each real channel. If you live at the junction of three regions, then you can catch not even doubles, but tribles.

What to do? There are two options, both are generally simple, but I still recommend the second.

How to remove duplicates - option one

We remove unnecessary channels. If there are not many duplicates, then we find the item "Editing TV channels" in the set-top box menu, this is my second tab.

We are looking for the item "Channel editing" in the set-top box menu

We go in, press in my case the "yellow button", the prefix will ask how many channels we want to delete, one or all. Select one and mark all unnecessary channels for deletion using the yellow button:

After that, click OK and after a couple of seconds the duplicates are killed.

Option two - aka fine manual tuning

Do not be intimidated by the title, there is nothing complicated here. These are not rockets to build) This option is better because you can leave channels that will go more stably. That is why I would recommend it.

So, to begin with, we kill everything that the prefix caught by autosearch.

This is described in the previous method, only we choose to delete not one channel, but all. After that, go to the "Manual Search" menu item, for me this is the first tab and the very bottom line:

Here we manually set the frequency at which we want to catch our channels, more precisely, at which they are transmitted in your region. We take the frequency from the official website of the project, in our example I would enter 546, and then 714 MHz. But in Bryansk, the transmission of the first multiplex is at 618 MHz. If nothing is caught, we try to change the range, it works for me at 8 MHz. (this is the line just below the frequency)

After you set the frequency, the box will show you the strength and intensity of the signal.

Choose the one of the frequencies at which the signal is higher!

Then, on the same map that sends you the second multiplex and do the manual search in the same way. In my example, this is Roslavl.

We click on the tower, we look at the frequencies at which the signal is transmitted. Important: if you just click on the tower, it will show the frequency of the first multiplex. To see both frequencies, click on "More", and on a new page we see both frequencies:

On the "Details" page you can see all the frequencies on which the tower is broadcasting

Actually, that's all. This manual search will give you all channels in a single option.

Why is the first multiplex usually duplicated?

By the way, the most attentive reader has now understood why the first multiplex is usually a "duplicate". Because the second one has not yet been launched everywhere, and if it works for you at all, it's already cool. But the first one broadcasts from each iron from each tower.

There are several ways to get rid of advertisements on the Tricolor information channel and turn on your favorite channel when the equipment starts up. One has only to carry out simple manipulations with the remote control.

Users often face the problem of unnecessary TV channels appearing. These channels can be:

  • Duplicated as a result of software updates;
  • Changing the broadcasting frequency of the channel, which led to the lack of broadcasting;
  • Family members are not interested in watching programs;
  • Channels reproduced in poor quality due to equipment change.

To enjoy watching your favorite channels and not encounter an advertising information channel, you need to delete or encrypt.

How to delete channels - instructions

When the option to create favorite lists appeared, the ability to change classic lists disappeared. But there is a possibility of removal if the Stingray software is installed on the equipment. It is characterized by the presence of a manual search.

The procedure for removing channels consists of the following stages:

The editing operation takes into account the fact that deleting the "Manual Search" list will result in the disappearance of all channels. Therefore, with the appearance of new lists, it is necessary to move this list down.

After completing these steps, when you turn on the receiver and TV, the first channel from your list will be displayed. But all preset lists will disappear from the menu. And also in front of the TV channels in your list there will be question marks (do not pay attention). The procedure is suitable for receivers of the GS 8306, B210, B531 series and other modern models.

How to remove duplicate channels

You can remove duplicates by organizing the channels:

Some receiver models (GS 8300, 8302, 8304) require confirmation of the delete operation by entering the code "0000".

New clients who have connected to the Tricolor broadcast can get rid of unnecessary channels by blocking. Execution scheme:

  • Go in the main Menu to the "Channels" item;
  • Open the section "Channel organization" (if required to gain access, enter the code "0000");
  • Moving through the list of channels, press the yellow button on the unnecessary position;
  • To exit, click "Exit" and save the changes.

By placing a blocked TV channel at the bottom of the entire list, the user will not notice its presence when switching.

How to recover a deleted channel by mistake

A full return to previously broadcast channels is possible by resetting the settings and subsequent standard search. The blocked channel can be returned to the display by removing the block and confirming the operation by entering the code "0000" (while moving through the list, press the yellow button on the blocked channel).
