How to connect the system unit to the TV. Features of connecting different equipment

We think that many of you dreamed of connecting your TV to a computer in order to enjoy watching movies or playing a computer shooter not on a small monitor, but on a large TV screen. However, this is not always as easy as it seems. Today in our article we will reveal the main ways to connect modern TVs to a computer. Moreover, we intend not to consider connecting to old TV models, since due to the small screen resolution of such a TV, you will not be satisfied with the result anyway.

How can I connect a TV to a computer

First, let's decide with which cable you can connect the TV to the computer. To do this, you need to study which connectors are on your video card in the computer and which connectors are on the TV. All of them are, as a rule, on the back of the vehicle, so study it carefully. In our case, such connectors are important:

  • HDMI (or HDMI-mini);
  • SCART.

You can see the photos of each connector below:

The listed slots can be located both on the TV and on the computer (only it will not have SCART). It is not necessary that your equipment supports all connectors, the main thing is that you find compatible connectors and a suitable cable for them.

What kind of cables are there for connecting a computer?

  • DVI - HDMI;
  • DVI - VGA;
  • DVI - DVI;
  • HDMI - HDMI;
  • HDMI - SCART;
  • VGA - VGA.

In addition, there are various amplifiers and signal splitters that convert the signal and make it possible to connect a VGA TV to an HDMI slot, for example. However, it is difficult to find such products on store shelves, moreover, even few people know about them, so if such a situation arises, look for goods in online stores.

Once you have the cable, just connect one end to the TV, and the other to the computer and that's it. Now your TV is connected to your PC and you can use it. Although, before that, you still need to configure the connection itself in the operating system of your computer. We will talk about this further.

How to connect a TV in Windows 7 or 8

After you have connected the cable to the system unit and the TV, turned on the latter to the "PC" position (for this, there must be a special button on the TV control panel), then you can go directly to the setup.

1. Open the "Desktop" in front of you on your computer and right-click on an empty space to open the context menu, as shown in the screenshot below, and select "Screen Resolution":

2. A window will open in front of you, in which you need to first find the second monitor, if the system has not automatically found it. To do this, click on the "Find" button. In the picture below, it is marked at number 1. Then click "Apply" to fix the presence of a TV connected to the computer.

3. When the TV screen is connected, you need to align it with the computer, for example, it can be at the top (above the monitor), left or right. In the screenshot, under the action number "2" we have visually moved the TV screen unevenly relative to the main monitor to show the possibilities. Moving it is quite simple - hold down the left mouse button on the TV screen on the diagram and drag it to the side that would be convenient for you. For example, if the TV is on the left, then schematically place the screen on the left side to make dragging the windows easier. Otherwise you will get confused. After all, click the "Apply" button.

4. Now is the time to make a few corrections (if needed). A number of actions are highlighted in the picture above under the number "3". In order to enter them, select the TV screen on the diagram with the left mouse button, then specify or correct the resolution of the second display (TV), although Windows 7 and 8 always select them correctly themselves. Next, check the orientation, it should be landscape, unless your TV is suspended at a 90 degree angle. If you want the TV to be a kind of continuation of the monitor, so that, let's say, watch a movie on one monitor and work on the other, then select "Expand these screens" in the "Multiple displays" item. In addition, you can also duplicate screens so that the same picture is shown everywhere; or display one of the monitors.

5. You can make your TV your primary display. To do this, you need to left-click the display number two in the screenshot above and perform the action marked with the number “4” in the picture. That is, check the box. If you don’t want to change, then just don’t do anything.

6. Still everything in the same screenshot above there is a link to additional parameters, by clicking on which you can update the display drivers (check their availability in general); set the desired screen frequency; make adjustments to the color gamut of the monitor; and also go to the driver settings responsible for the graphical shell. The window will look something like this:

7. If all the manipulations with the setting are over, it's time to apply them. To do this, click on the button at the bottom of the "OK" window, or it was named under the number "5" in the previous screenshot.

What if the TV continues to stubbornly not connect to the computer?

To answer this question, you first need to figure out the reason for not connecting. After all, it can turn out to be both at the program level and completely at the physical level. We will analyze all these cases below.

  • Check cable connections. Very often, newbies, fearing damage to the computer or TV, do not fully insert the plug into the special slot. If it is DVI or VGA, then the plug must also be secured with bolts that are located directly on the plug itself. There may also be a problem with the cable itself, try changing it or checking it on another PC.
  • Check that the correct connector is selected. Try not to confuse VGA with DVI, as well as inputs and outputs, for example on the same SCART, where there is an input and output. It also happens that video cards have several DVI inputs, choose the one that fits your plug, or you have to buy an additional adapter.
  • RebootWindows. Sometimes the system needs a reboot to see a new display (TV, in our case), therefore, experts recommend the site after installing the drivers or simply entering additional parameters, restart the PC and perhaps after that the TV will be found by the computer.
  • Try to disconnect the wire and do all the above steps again. If you made a mistake at any stage, then you may have to disconnect the wire and do the above steps for connecting and configuring - again. Do not be lazy to do this, as calling a specialist will cost you a considerable amount of money.
  • Check if the drivers are installed on the video card. If your operating system did not have the drivers installed on the video card, or a technical error was made during the installation, then most likely you will not be able to connect the TV correctly (the resolution will not be set at all, or the image will not be natural).
  • Select the correct mode on your TV. If the computer sees the TV connection, but you still have nothing on the screen, then you have not correctly selected the mode. For example, instead of PC, they chose AV-1 or AV-2 or VHS in general. Be careful.
  • Your TV is unable to see the signals sent by the computer. We do not exclude the possibility that the PC may not recognize the TV at all due to the peculiarities of the latter. Often this is found in Chinese models, where it seems that there is such an opportunity, but in practice there is nothing of the kind.
  • Seek help from a specialist. And the last, probably the most correct option (but also the most expensive) would be to contact a service center. Here they will help you with a specific problem and find solutions. The point is that each of the cases is unique, it is impossible to foresee everything, because sometimes the TV may not connect due to common viruses.

Each of us at least once thought about how to connect a computer and a TV, to display the image from the monitor on a large screen using HDMI technology or a router. It is not so difficult to do this, there are quite a lot of connection methods: using cables of several formats - HDMI, DVI or VGA, via an Internet connection using a network connection.

Wired connection provides the best signal transfer between devices

We will dwell on each of them and learn how to adjust the picture when displaying it on the TV.

There are several connectors through which the PC and TV are connected. DVI and HDMI cables carry a high quality signal, while using VGA format only allows you to get an analog image.

The subsequent choice of the cable depends on what sockets are on the equipment - it is important that they coincide or an adapter can be put on one of its ends.

If your computer does not have a built-in HDMI card, or if you are going to connect it to your TV using a different cable format, you need to purchase an audio cable, otherwise you will only get an image. It is connected via an audio jack - a round hole with a diameter of 3.5 mm and connects the input on the PC soundbar and the jack on the TV or external speakers.

VGA connection

This connection format will allow you to see an analog image without sound, which will not be too high resolution, respectively, of imperfect quality. However, if there are no other types of connectors, use this method to connect the equipment.

To do this, follow these steps:

  • Turn off the computer, connect the equipment with each other using audio and video cables;
  • Turn on the TV and select the connection item in the settings (the section may have the name Source or Input), stop at the VGA item;

Go to the audio menu and make sure that the settings are set to feed sound through the cable you connected, and not another interface (for example, HDMI).

  • Turn on the computer - the desktop image should appear instead of the TV.

Video signal input via DVI cable

This connection method allows you to enjoy digital rather than analog images, but still without sound.

Please note that there are different types of cables of this format, do not make a mistake when choosing and subsequent purchase. In general, the connection between the PC and the TV is established in the same way as in the previous method, only select the DVI format in the video signal reception settings.

HDMI connection

This method of supplying video and audio signals to TV is the most relevant and profitable today, because you will receive a high quality digital signal with sound - provided that your computer has a built-in HDMI card.

Using this connection, you can display a picture on a large diagonal screen without losing quality, which will especially appeal to fans of cinema and various games.

When buying an HDMI cable, consider the location of the equipment in the room - if the screen is located on the wall, you will not be able to simply insert the straight plug. There are a variety of cables where the plug is angled or angled to fit well between the back of the TV and the wall.

The connection is done like this:

  • Turn off the equipment from the network, connect it with a cable via HDMI connectors;
  • Turn on the TV, in the connection parameters (Source or Input) select the required connection type.

It happens that one HDMI port on a TV is not enough, and to solve the problem there are switches - "hubs" that allow you to connect several devices to it at the same time.

Image Adjustment

After connecting the equipment using one of the above methods, you need to adjust the image. Do the following:

  • In the context menu of the desktop (it can be turned on with the right mouse button) open the item "Screen resolution";
  • In the Display section, the "Multiple monitors" line is selected if you connected a TV and did not disconnect the computer screen.

When setting the resolution, stop at the highest value for the greatest clarity of the picture, but keep in mind that the higher the value, the smaller the icons will be.

Working with multiple displays

You can use multiple monitors at the same time as follows:

  • The duplication mode is a complete coincidence of the image on both the PC and the TV - your actions are visible on all monitors connected to the system unit;
  • "Expansion" - a mode for combining two screens so that each of them is independent.

To change the resolution on an individual device, select it through the "Screen" item and make the necessary settings.

Using a network cable

In addition to the above methods, a computer and TV can be connected to view videos or photos on a large screen using a Wi-Fi router. This requires a LAN port on the equipment and a network cable, after which a special media server is installed.

It all happens like this:

  • Connect the TV to the router using a network cable to the LAN jack and install a media server on it using the following steps;
  • Download a program for broadcasting data from a computer - most users choose the Home Media Server utility;
  • After installing the program, select your TV in the menu of its settings, then mark the sections on the PC that you would like to view on it;
  • Run the program;
  • Turn on the TV, select the Source section in the parameters, after which a program will appear in the list through which you can view files from your computer.

In a similar way, two devices are connected directly through the LAN ports - on one side, the cable is inserted into the TV jack, the other end is connected to the same port on the back of the system unit, creating a network connection.

Important! To combine the technique when using the above two methods, you need to set the DHCP network settings on the TV. If they are not automatically enabled, you should manually register the following data:

  • In the operating system: go to the Control Panel, open your network and view its properties - select Internet Protocol 4 and write the IP address 192.168.0.1, the subnet mask - 255.255.255.0. The combination of DNS server matches the IP value;
  • We enter this data in the network settings of the TV.

Wi-Fi connection

Modern TV models have a built-in Wi-Fi module, which is useful to you in order to connect the device to your PC and display the image on the screen.

To do this, connect to a wireless network through the hardware parameters, connect to this network on a personal computer. Now, through the Control Panel, go to the screen menu, turn on the monitor search in the resolution settings window. When the computer detects all the monitors, you can stream your desktop to the big screen.

All the described connection methods will allow you to transfer the image from the computer screen to the TV. In principle, combining equipment using an HDMI cable is one of the most attractive and logical options, since this signal transmission format will allow you to get a high quality picture with clear sound. But the choice of the optimal method depends on the parameters of the technique and which of the listed options will be most convenient for you.

There are situations when you want to watch a movie or play a game on a big screen other than a PC screen. In this article we will try to figure out how you can connect a computer or laptop to a TV. There are a lot of connection methods, but we will talk about the simplest and most popular options.

This will require some types of cable, and in some cases, you can do without them.

On TVs from Samsung, LG or other modern devices, it is possible to connect a computer via Wi-Fi. To do this, you need to use specialized programs that the TV manufacturer offers.

For example, Wi-Fi Direct offers an implementation of such a method by duplicating an image on a TV device. In this case, you do not need to use a router, but the connection will be made directly from the computer to the TV, without wires.

In the case of a DLNA solution, a router will be the key factor.

DLNA connection type is a mini home server where images, audio and video are uploaded and then uploaded to the TV.

This solution is very convenient, but requires initial configuration. In addition, not all routers are capable of organizing a stable home network.

The Wi-Fi Direct function is implemented differently on different devices and has a different name. For example, on LG TVs, the Smart Share application is responsible for this process.

Wirelessly using apps

On smart TVs, the ability to connect a PC or laptop is realized not only with the help of standard applications. With the help of a smart TV store, you can find applications that are able to create a pair and the connection will take place in a matter of seconds. The principle of such applications does not differ from Wi-Fi Direct or DLNA networks. They are capable of creating an internal network and making connections within it. Also, such applications have a cloud, with a limited amount of space on it.

Samsung TVs work through Smart View or All Share applications and perform the same functions. Their key advantage is the elimination of a Wi-Fi router, but the connection will still be wireless.

You can use the above applications on the official sites:

  1. https://www.lg.com/ru/support/smart-share
  2. https://www.samsung.com/ua_ru/support/smart-view/
  3. https://www.samsung.com/us/2012-allshare-play/

Connecting with a VGA-VGA cable

In order to make this connection, you need to make sure that this connector is present on your computer and TV.

In the photo above, the video card does not have such a connector, which means that it will be impossible for this device to connect in this way.

A VGA-VGA cable looks like this:

Connectors are found on older laptop and PC models. In modern devices, the HDMI connector is widely used, which is not only very popular, but also has the ability to obtain better quality.

If both devices have this connector, then the connection will take less than a minute. It is enough to connect the cable and select the appropriate output on the TV. Duplication of the image on such a cable occurs without any delay, so this method remains relevant to this day.

The disadvantage of this conclusion is the impossibility of audio playback. The speakers will have to be connected through a separate connector.

HDMI wire

Connecting via HDMI cable has become available with the development of technology. Almost any modern device has this connector. Its key advantage is high image quality and sound reproduction.

Connecting a Windows 7 PC or Windows 10 PC has little or no special features.

All actions are performed as follows:

Via USB cable

The USB connection works in much the same way as the HDMI cable. First, both devices are turned off, then the cable is connected and turned on. The TV recognizes the device as a hard drive, so you can safely view photos and movies, as well as listen to audio recordings.

There is only one drawback of this method, and it is significant - the TV does not always adequately perceive the computer. There may be many connection problems, so this method is not popular.

Connecting an old TV through a tulip

If the TV is old, it does not have VGA and HDMi connectors, then you can use the tulip pairing. This cable is called "RCA-RCA" and looks like this:

The advantage of this connection is that almost all TV models support it. This type of cable reproduces not only the image, but also the sound, therefore its use is relevant to this day. The only drawback is the poor image quality, as the cable only has an analog output.

There are different types of adapters. You can find a VGA-RCA connector that works with a dedicated converter.

Problems connecting your computer or laptop to the TV

  • The most common problem is device incompatibility. For example, when connected to NVidia video cards, there is a problem with displaying the picture on the TV. The reason for this may be incorrect settings, as well as outdated versions of the video card drivers.

To solve this problem, you will have to connect with the PC turned on. Only in this way the computer will be able to detect the device and suggest an error. You can update device drivers using a special application that comes with the video card.

  • Sometimes it happens that the VGA or HDMI cable turns out to be defective. Unsoldered contacts inside it can be a serious problem, and the ordinary eye does not notice visible damage. You need to carefully check the cord for damage or kinks.
  • The jack on the TV does not work. After buying a TV, it may turn out that the connector is defective. This is primarily due to the storage conditions of the TV. If it was stored in a humid room, then the connector contact could oxidize, after which it was damaged. It is possible to establish such a defect with the help of an examination.

Conclusion

There are a lot of options for pairing a PC with a TV screen. Knowing the current methods, it will not be difficult to connect a computer to a TV set.

Modern TVs may well replace the computer display. But how does a computer relate to a TV?

We've put together various ways to fix this common problem.

Connection selection

At first, attention will be paid to the optimal options for image quality, with which you can easily make the connection. After that, several additional methods will be presented.

There is a chance that the user will need to buy a cable from the store. It is usually not very expensive, and you can buy a variety of devices at a specialty radio store or retail chain that sells consumer electronics.

Please note that gold plating on expensive cables does not affect the quality of the displayed image.

So, here are some options for how to connect your computer to your TV:

  • HDMI- ideal, because to work with it, you just need to connect the connectors. As a result, not only the sound, but also the image will be well transmitted. The only possible problem is that the sound from the laptop may sometimes not work.
  • VGA- one of the simplest ways to connect television. All you need is a cable that is sold with the monitors. There is a possibility that the user has an unused device at home. If necessary, you can buy it in a specialized store.
  • With cable from DVI things are the same - to work with it, you only need to buy an adapter and a cable.
  • Alternatively, you can use a composite cable S-Video... You can work with it both through a cable and through an adapter. However, it is considered not the best way to connect, because the image may not be very clear. So such a connection is not used if modern technology is available. The connection takes place in the same way as when working with household players.

HDMI connection

Surely many users have heard about this connector. It is on all modern TVs.

An HDMI cable has the same connectors at both ends.

Cheap cable can be purchased. But if the user plans to work in 3D mode, it is better to use the latest version of the HDMI cable.

A similar socket is located on the video card near the connection for the monitor.

If there is no discrete graphics card, the socket will be located on the motherboard, that is, near the USB port. However, it will look similar.

With a laptop, everything is much simpler - it has the same HDMI jack. However, it is located on different sides, depending on the model with which the user is working.

Sometimes the TV hangs on the wall and it can be very difficult to insert the cable from the back. It is for this situation that a cable with plugs at right angles is sold.

Alternatively, buy a dedicated HDMI nook.

Connecting a TV to a computer via a VGA connector

Video Graphics Array is an interface for receiving and transmitting analog video signals. Sound transmission in this variant of connecting the TV to a computer is completely absent.

Before connecting, make sure that both the computer and the TV are equipped with VGA connectors and a dedicated cable is available.

To make such a connection, your computer must be equipped with an operating system at least Windows 7.

Connect the PC and the TV in the off state with a VGA cable, then press the SOURCE button on the TV remote control (in some models it may be INPUT) and in the menu that appears on the screen, specify as an external signal VGA(in some models - PC or RGB).

Then confirm the selected changes by pressing the OK button.

Right-click on an empty space on the desktop and in the drop-down list go to the screen resolution menu.

In this menu, you are given a choice of how to use both a TV and a computer monitor, as well as setting the required resolution.

In addition, you can select the option to use multiple screens, in which the following options will be available to you:

  • Duplicate screens- a function that allows you to get the same image both on the monitor and on the TV screen;
  • Expand screens- will allow you to simultaneously watch a video on the TV screen and, for example, print text on a computer;
  • Show Desktop 1 or 2- this function operates only one of the available screens - either a monitor or a TV.

In general, the process of such a connection is not difficult, however, it creates some inconveniences associated with the transmission, in this version, of sound.

It will have to be connected with a separate cable or use an external speaker system for these purposes.

S-Video

Another option for connecting a TV to a computer is using the S-Video connectors.

This option is convenient because all TVs and computer video cards (except very old ones) are equipped with an S-Video connector.

All you have to do is connect these devices with an S-Video to S-Video cable.

Before connecting, both the TV and the computer must be de-energized, after that, plug one end of the cable into the connector on the computer's video card, which is a round black socket, and the other into the S-Video socket on the TV.

During the loading of the operating system on the computer, the TV screen will blink - thereby indicating that an external signal source has been detected.

The next step is to configure the video card. To do this, click on the free space on the desktop and in the menu " Properties»Go to the tab « Parameters» .

Then select the item « Additionally» and in the window that opens opposite the name of the video card, activate the item « Clone» .

After applying this parameter, click on the item « Display" and select the name of the TV from the available list.

Then on the TV you search for the signal source and adjust the picture.

Miracast

Miracast technology differs from DLNA in that this option for displaying multimedia information from a TV to a PC simplifies the task of viewing not only recorded files stored on the gadget's hard drive, but also played online on one of the built-in web browsers.

But the Miracast technology has only one drawback - it is very demanding on computer resources.

So it is supported only by individual computers, as well as tablets and laptops, which have powerful hardware filling.

It is important to implement such modern technologies in the TV itself.

If the TV only optionally supports Miracast, then you will have to spend extra money on an adapter that easily connects to the HDMI port.

Wireless monitor technology is very simple - the displayed image is compressed using a special algorithm.

After that, it is mirrored via Wi-fi to a large TV display.

In this case, there is no need to connect the TV to one of the local networks using a router.

The receivers create a separate mini-network for easy communication with the PC.

To successfully transfer the image, install the Wireless Display add-on on your computer and start broadcasting.

PC and Smart TV can be connected without a special router.

As most probably know, a home network can be created without using a router. In this case, the laptop will act as an access point.

This is done in several ways:

  1. You can create a connection in one of the special management consoles;
  2. Alternatively, use;
  3. Use third-party software such as Virtual Router Plus.

Please note that most built-in Windows tools are characterized by greater reliability and stability.

In addition, users no longer have to waste time searching for programs and installing them on a personal computer. So the registry won't get too cluttered.

This method is considered one of the simplest.

Logged in as an administrator, proceed to launch the command line. To cope with this task in Windows 8, use the key combination Win + X.

When the menu appears, you must select the "Command line" item. In the seventh version of the operating system, you must press the key combination Windows + R in the window that opens, and also register CMD and press Enter.

Be sure to write the following command netsh wlan set

and then press Enter.

After that, the creation of a new network will be completed and you can start launching it. To this end, write in the command line

Hostednetwork

It is important to say that you can create a virtual network only once.

However, after the module is restarted, the user must write a command to successfully start the Internet.

As a result, the user will only have to connect the TV to the computer by performing the necessary steps that have already been done when working with the router.

You can control the TV from a PC wirelessly via Wi-Fi using the same programs.

Various additions are known, with the help of which it is much easier to control the TV using a smartphone.

In this case, the telephone is used as a control panel.

So, this article provides basic ways to connect your computer to your TV.

It is very easy to cope with this task if you choose the appropriate option and follow the instructions given. Then the user will not have any difficulties with the connection.

So, you are the lucky owner of an LED, LCD or plasma TV. And of course, you probably already read in the instruction manual that any personal computer can be easily connected to it, thereby turning it into a large monitor. After that, you can not only enjoy your favorite games on the huge screen, but also, for example, watch videos in 3D - if your TV receiver supports this function. That is, in this case, you can safely do without a Blu-Ray player. It does not matter what kind of PC you have - "standard", that is, in the form of a system unit, laptop or netbook. The standardization of the connection interfaces allows you to easily perform this operation without any tricks or "dancing with tambourines".

We carry out a technical "audit"

Before proceeding directly to connecting your PC, you need to find out what set of interface connectors your television receiver has. Today, manufacturers can install the following connectors for connecting external video devices:

Inspect carefully all the connectors that your television receiver and personal computer have. Determine what types of interfaces are present on them.

What is required to connect?

In order to make PC connections to a television receiver, you will need a special interface cord and, possibly, a driver for the computer to work correctly with your TV. After you decide on the interfaces available for your equipment, you will need a cable that has the appropriate interface connectors.

Cords, cables and adapters for connection

An interface cord may be supplied with your TV or personal computer.

In addition, such a cord can be used from a connected DVD or Blu-Ray player, borrowing it for a while.

VGA cable:

DVI cable:

HDMI cable:

Adapters

In addition to the so-called standard cables, which have connectors at both ends for connecting to the same type of interface, there are cords designed to connect devices with different interfaces.

For example, a PC with a VGA video output can be very easily connected to a TV that has a DVI input using a DVI-VGA adapter cable. This is due to the fact that the technical parameters of some of the main signals in these interfaces are the same. Special adapters for these connectors are also available.

You can buy these cable products and adapters in a salon that sells radio equipment, or in a specialized radio store.

If your TV receiver does not have HDMI connectors, but only has a VGA or DVI input, then you will need another additional cable to output sound to the TV. As a rule, this is an audio cable with a standard 3.5 '' mini-jack connector on both sides. Take care of it in advance before connecting.

To connect, you need to connect the PC and the TV to each other using an HDMI cable. In this case, on both devices, the cable must be connected to the connector labeled HDMI.

  1. Turn off the power to the PC and TV.
  2. Connect the TV and your personal computer with a cable.
  3. Turn on the TV and give it a few seconds to enter operating mode.
  4. Turn on your personal computer.
  5. On the TV, select the appropriate connection type - HDMI input. If you have several of them, then accordingly select the one to which you connected the PC.
  6. If everything is done correctly, then the screen will load the operating system.
  7. After the OS is loaded, the operating system may make a request to install the driver for an external video device - that is, your TV, because for PC, TV is a "new monitor", i.e. other equipment. If there is no driver on the disc supplied with your TV receiver, try searching for it on the Internet on the website of your TV manufacturer. If you cannot find it, refuse to install it and work with the standard driver of the operating system developer.

If you have problems with sound output to TV via HDMI interface, check the properties of the audio system - lower right corner, the "speaker" icon in the system tray. Click on it with the right (!) Mouse button and select the item - "Playback devices". Then, in the "Sound" window that opens, select your television receiver and click the "Default" button. Thus, you switch the sound to output not through the audio output of your PC, but through the HDMI input of the TV. If, for some reason, your television receiver is absent in the list, turn it off from the network and turn it on again without leaving this menu. If these steps did not help, try restarting your PC.

For connection, use a DVI or VGA cable, respectively, and for different interfaces on a PC and TV receiver - an adapter or a corresponding "adapter" cable.

  1. Disconnect power to all devices.
  2. Connect the TV and your personal computer with a DVI or VGA cable. If necessary - use an adapter or "cross-over" cable.
  3. Connect with an audio cable the output of your PC sound card and the audio input of the TV, to output sound to the TV receiver. If you do not want to listen to the sound on the TV, you do not need to connect this cable... In this case, the sound can be listened to on the PC speaker system, if you have one, or using headphones connected to the sound card output.
  4. Turn on your TV and wait a few seconds until your TV is ready for use.
  5. Turn on your PC.
  6. Select the appropriate connection type on your TV - VGA or DVI input.
