Vladimir Ilyukov

  • Do you have a small organization?
  • Will one user work with the program?
  • Do you have simple payroll calculations?

In such circumstances, the most reasonable thing is to buy 1C Enterprise Accounting 8.3 Basic version .

Basic version price several times less than the price of the program 1C Accounting 8 PROF. At the same time, the subject functionality of the basic version of the 1C Accounting 3.0 program is no different from the subject functionality of the PROF version in terms of accounting and tax accounting and the ability to generate standard, specialized and regulated reports, they are absolutely identical. However, the basic version has a number of important technological limitations. Let's consider them.

And you need it

The price of the 1C Accounting 8 program. The basic version is only 4,800 rubles, and the price of the 1C Accounting 8 PROF program is 13,000 rubles. The costs are not limited to this. Basic version users have the right not to subscribe to 1C ITS. But users of the PROF version are required to subscribe to at least 1C ITS of the TECHNO level. The cost of this subscription for a year is 12,528 rubles.

Buying 1C Accounting 8 PROF edition 3.0 instead of the basic version, the organization overpays many times.

Of course, we, like any seller, are interested in selling something more expensive and more. At the same time, we want to be honest with you. Therefore, before buying the PROF version, read the limitations of the 1C Accounting 8.3 Basic version. It is likely that these restrictions are not relevant for you, and it is quite enough for you to buy the basic version of the 1C Accounting 3.0 program.

Client 1C Licenses

A license is a way to protect software against unauthorized copying or use. In the programs of the 1C company, software and hardware protection means are used. More detailed information about licenses is described in the article Buy an additional client 1C License.

Basic versions of programs on the 1C Enterprise 8.3 platform are completed only with software licenses.

Moreover, one of them is the main one and two are spare. This means that if the main license is activated, then the user has two spare ones. They should be used after a major change in the configuration of your computer or if you need to install the program on another computer.

It is advisable to install the basic versions on a laptop. They are rarely upgraded and with them it is easy to move anywhere: office, home, business trip, etc.

Multi-user mode of operation

Several users can work simultaneously with the programs of the PROF and CORP versions: accountants, calculators, sales managers, etc.

Only one user can work with the basic version of the program on the 1C Enterprise 8.3 platform at the same time.

There is no prohibition on alternating work in the basic version. For example, one accountant works on the first shift, and another on the second.

Multi-company accounting

Programs 1C Bahgalteria versions of PROF and CORP allow in one information base to carry out accounting on behalf of several organizations and individual entrepreneurs. This is the so-called multi-company accounting.

Basic versions of programs on the 1C Enterprise 8.3 platform allow to describe only one organization in one infobase.

At the same time, the basic version does not prohibit the creation of an arbitrary number of infobases. In this case, accounting for each organization is kept in a separate information base.

Distributed information bases (RIB)

The need to work with RIB arises if the organization has geographically distributed divisions. For example, a central office, geographically remote accounting, shops, warehouses, etc.

Basic versions of programs on the 1C Enterprise 8.3 platform do not support work with RIB.

Changing the configuration or modifying the program

The 1C company produces the so-called standard configurations. These are generic configurations. They can be applied in any organization. They provide functionality that can be required by almost any organization or individual entrepreneur.

On the other hand, there are organizations with specific characteristics. They are usually due to industry differences or accounting specifics in a particular organization. It is impossible to take into account all the variety of such features within the framework of a typical configuration. Due to this, the programs of the PROF and CORP versions provide for the possibility of changing the configuration.

Basic versions of programs on the 1C Enterprise 8.3 platform do not allow changing their configuration.

Basic versions allow you to create external reports and processing. However, the possibilities of their creation are more limited than that of the PROF and CORP versions.

There is no obligation to subscribe to 1C ITS

Users of programs of versions PROF and CORP are obliged to conclude contracts for 1C ITS of the PROF level or TECHNO level... This gives them the right to legally update their programs and their information technology support by partners of 1C.

Users of basic versions of programs on the 1C Enterprise 8.3 platform do not have to conclude an ITS agreement with a partner.

In accordance with the licensing policy of the 1C company, the 1C company provides updates to users of basic versions free of charge.

Service 1C Link

Service 1C Link provides remote access to an infobase installed, for example, at the central office of an organization via the Internet. Access is carried out through secure communication channels. Nobody except users can see this database on the Internet.

The 1C Link service is available in the programs of the PROF and CORP versions, but is not available in the basic versions of programs on the 1C Enterprise 8.3 platform.

Specialized deliveries of the basic version

1C Accounting 8 The basic version has two specialized supplies: 1C Simplified 8 and 1C Entrepreneur 2015... Their difference from the basic version is that in the 1C Enterprise mode, special taxation regimes are already configured in them.

If necessary, the user can independently change these settings. Therefore, if, for example, the delivery of "1C Simplified 8" was purchased by mistake, and the organization or individual entrepreneur decided to apply the general tax regime, then there is no need to buy the program "1C Accounting 8. Basic version".

Transition from the basic version to the PROF version (upgrade)

The owner of the basic version may eventually need to switch to the PROF version. This is usually due to an increase in the number of program users, the need to finalize the program, etc. In this case, the professional version is provided at a discounted price.

At any time, you can upgrade the basic version to the PROF version.

The cost of the upgrade is calculated as the difference between the price of the new version and the price of the basic version, plus 150 rubles. For example, the price of the program "1C Accounting 8 PROF (USB)" is 16,200 rubles. The upgrade will cost 16,200 - 4,800 + 150 = 11,550 rubles.

If the above restrictions do not bother you, then it is advisable to buy the basic program 1C Accounting B Basic version 3.0

Basic versions target small companies and knowledge is poorly represented. Sometimes copied documents are posted, but they give few answers, and upon close examination, raise more questions.

Perhaps this is due to the low cost, and therefore the profitability of the program, and they do not strive to engage in it. As a result, we get a manager who does not understand why you need to pay much more if you can put a pirated version.

Main differences with PROF versions

  • The basic version is several times different in cost. For example, the price of 2014: 1C: Enterprise Accounting 8 for 3300 rubles, versus the PROF version for 13000 rubles.
  • The basic version is provided with support for free (for PROF you need an ITS) and even receiving updates.
  • It remains possible to expand the basic version to PROF with the deduction of the amount that was paid for it; it cannot be done in the reverse order.
  • The technical limitations of the basic version are one of the big drawbacks. The main thing is that only one user can work with infobases.

The last limitation makes you think, and if the number of users is not important for you, then when buying a 1C program, think about the opportunity to purchase basic version, this will significantly save money. You need to solve problems in order. When the need arises for several users to work simultaneously, then just go to PROF.

An exception is the Trade Management program, ed. 11 Basic. The limitations that are set in it can really complicate the work in general.

Differences in details

Programs from 1C include a "technological platform" and an information base of various configurations. The platform itself has nothing to do with configuration and is the same for both versions. The license for the basic version is tied to the configuration. If you install Accounting and Trade Management in the basic version, then different licenses will hang on the computer. In the case of the full program, the license can be installed at all on any computer in the internal network. If the license is not found during the first launch, then software license, will offer to get 1C itself. Computer data and configuration are transferred to 1C and returned back with a key to enter this computer.

"PROF" license can run all bases, and "Basic" - only one configuration.

You can create as many databases in the configuration as you need and place where it is more convenient for you (local disk, network). If you change the field of activity, you can completely delete the infobase and start new ones. You do not need to re-license.

Basic version limitations

All restrictions are indicated in the documents and on the box, but we will reveal some in more detail.

1. Only one user can work with one infobase at a time.

This means that it is impossible to work with the database at the same time. You can create different rights for different employees, for example, salesman, accountant, director. One works during the day, the second in the evening, the third at night.

2. Modification of the configuration is not supported, you can apply only the standard configuration and install its updates.

In fact, the "configurator" itself is available, as in the full version. There is no possibility to change the configuration. In the database, you cannot change the "supplier object is not editable" feature, and in the basic version, in the configurator menu, you cannot work with the repository and configuration delivery, but a small company does not need it. If you remove the basic configuration from the full version support, then it will no longer be opened in the basic version.

3. COM connection and Automation server are not supported.

This means that you will not be able to start 1C this way, but at the same time, you can refer to other objects from the basic 1C using a COM connection. Without external connection mode, you can start 1C using data exchange via files.

4. Operation of RIB is not supported.

The configuration prohibits the exchange of adding new nodes to the "Full" plan. In another configuration, "Salary and personnel management", the same restrictions are on the exchange plan "By Organization".

Separately, we will clarify the configuration Trade 11 basic.

  1. There is a complete absence of source modules.
  2. More functional limitations.

Let's draw a line under all the restrictions. If users will work in the program at different times or only one employee, then you can save on updates. If you need the full version, use the extension, because the money you have already paid will also be credited.

The restrictions that are imposed on the basic versions of 1C are listed in the documentation provided by the developer and on the software packages. However, the facts are presented very briefly - it makes sense to consider them in more detail.

The restrictions that are imposed on the basic versions of 1C are listed in the documentation provided by the developer and on the software packages. However, the facts are presented very briefly - it makes sense to consider them in more detail.

1. At a given moment in time, only one user is allowed to work in one infobase.

For the basic mode of the platform, only exclusive opening of the infobase is provided. For comparison, the PROF version switches to exclusive mode solely for the sake of ensuring correct operation in some cases (for example, when deleting selected objects).

The configuration has no restrictions. Without providing access to parallel work, one base can have several users. Therefore, a list of persons admitted to the program is formed. If necessary, they are assigned different rights (similar to the PROF version). Users' work can be spread over time. Let's say a salesperson uses the application in the morning, and an accountant in the afternoon, and each of them has their own rights.

2. One information base is suitable for accounting only within one enterprise

If the user wants to add a new item to the "Organizations" directory, the information about the impossibility of performing the operation will appear in the basic version. This order is dictated by a configuration restriction and cannot be bypassed regardless of the platform's mode of operation.

When using the basic version for accounting for several enterprises, you will have to purchase its own information base for each. When two companies use a common nomenclature (for example, a wholesaler sells products to both third-party customers and his retail store), it is advisable to acquire a PROF version. However, even with the basic version, there is no need to duplicate work. The nomenclature drawn up in the first base is easily loaded into a file and transferred to another base.

By the way, the PROF versions do not have "intercompany" documentation. This means that within a group of companies, the sale of products must be formalized in two documents: one cannot be dispensed with in either the basic or the PROF version.

3. Changing the configuration is not feasible, it is only permissible to install updates to the typical configuration

At first glance, it seems that buying the basic version is fraught with the absence of the "configurator" mode, without which 1C is no longer 1C. However, it is not. A configurator similar to the one available in the PROF version is available.

The only thing that is missing is the ability to change the configuration: upon request, information is displayed that it is under support, and the vendor object is not edited. Therefore, when using the basic mode, neither withdrawal from support, nor activation of changes is allowed.
Among other things, the basic mode implies the absence in the configurator menu of the ability to work with the configuration delivery and storage. However, such functions are not in demand in small businesses.

Otherwise, there is no difference with the PROF version:

  • it is possible to view the configuration, including the forms of the layouts, the texts of the modules;
  • formation and modification of external reports and processing is possible;
  • it is possible to connect external reports and processors to the configuration. They can act as printing forms and processing the filling of tabular elements (for the user this is identical to their insertion into the configuration);
  • it is possible to use the debugger for external reports, processing, as well as for analyzing the functioning of the application. Similar to the way it is implemented in the PROF version, when a malfunction is detected, breakpoints can be set in order to identify the cause of the problem (hidden in incorrect user actions or configuration errors).

For the basic configuration, it is permissible to withdraw from support using the PROF platform, but in the future it will not work to open it with the basic platform.

4. Work in the "client-server" mode is not feasible

The use of the "client-server" mode is justified in companies employing 10-30 people or more (taking into account the configuration). The basic version limits the number of users to one, so the feature turns out to be irrelevant.

5. There is no support for COM connection and Automation server

COM connection and Automation Server refer to application communication tools built into Windows and commonly used to exchange data. With them, for example, you can take a list of Outlook contacts from 1C, as well as carry out many other operations.

Note that the limitation means the impossibility of such a launch of 1C. In the basic version, a COM connection provides access to different objects. This limitation applies to the underlying platform. By opening the basic configuration with the PROF platform, you can ensure correct operation. In this case, the basic configurations are supplied with a non-empty external connection module.

It is not necessary to run 1C in the external connection mode, since the standard means of data exchange provide for work via files (or there are two modes of operation - via files or via OLE). In addition, if necessary, you can create your own treatments, so the limitation will not cause problems.

6. The work of distributed information bases (RIB) is not supported

This configuration restriction affects the "Full" exchange plan, which prohibits the introduction of new nodes. The application "1C: Salary and personnel management" has the same feature in terms of the exchange "By Organization". Thus, the means built into the configuration do not allow the formation of an RIB.
But the basic versions are suitable:

  • to exchange information between different configurations (for example, in pairs of databases "1C: Salary and personnel management" - "1C: Accounting", "1C: Trade Management" - "1C: Accounting");
  • for uploading and downloading data by means of built-in processing of uploading information into an identical configuration;
  • for information exchange with external systems of the "bank-client" type and others;
  • to exchange with third-party programs;
    for the use of independently created means of exchange (for example, for uploading the product catalog to the organization's website and downloading applications from it).
