DriverPack Solution Full version works without installation on a computer. The Full version contains the complete driver package. You can download a set of drivers using a torrent tracker or using another alternative.

After unpacking the archive, from the folder with the drivers, you will need to run the file - the application.

After starting the program, the DriverPack Solution Full window will open. First, the process of collecting data about computer devices and installed drivers will take place. The Drivers tab will display information about updating or installing the required drivers.

In this case, in the "Drivers" tab, a message appeared stating that it is possible to update the drivers. You can update them immediately by clicking on the "Select All" button, or install only the necessary drivers on your computer.

After clicking on the button next to the item "Update drivers", a list of drivers for which an update is available will open.

In the "Miscellaneous" tab, you can look at a list of all installed drivers on your computer. When you move the mouse cursor over the corresponding driver, a tooltip will open.

After clicking on the "Diagnostics" item, you can look at the characteristics of your computer and perform various actions using the program: RAM test, defragmentation, cleaning, and also perform antivirus scan.

The Programs tab contains programs, you can install the programs located there on your computer. This is optional, these programs have nothing to do with installing drivers on your computer.

Below the device name is the device number (hardware ID). Knowing this number, you can easily find the driver you need.

If you do not know the device identification number of your computer, you can find it using Device Manager.

If you are a more or less experienced computer user, then I do not recommend installing drivers automatically using any programs. Firstly, such programs can install not quite compatible drivers, and secondly, not quite up-to-date (i.e. the newest). The best option is to manually install the drivers by downloading them from the official websites of computer manufacturers or individual devices. DriverPack Full... This version of DriverPack Solution is about 10.2 GB in size. The difference is that this version is designed to update drivers without an Internet connection, since the archive with the program will already contain all the drivers from the database. This is why the size of the version is so huge. It makes sense to use this version if you do not have an Internet connection on your computer, for example, just because of the uninstalled drivers on the network card.

After selecting all drivers from the list, click the "Install drivers" button below:

The process of downloading the necessary drivers from the Internet will immediately begin. This will take a few minutes:

After downloading, the installation of the drivers will begin. This will take about 10-20 minutes.

Sometimes, when installing drivers, you may receive a message like this:

In this case, click "Install this driver anyway", because there is nothing wrong with the fact that the publisher of the driver was not recognized by the system. I put this kind of driver many times and problems were never revealed in the future.

How to use the full version of DriverPack Solution ("DriverPack Full") for automatic driver installation!

This version of the program more often installs all the necessary drivers than a similar reduced version. For example, when I tried to install drivers using the DriverPack Online version, I did not install one driver (for the chipset), but this driver was installed through the full version of the program - DriverPack Full. Let's take a look at how to use Driverpack Solution in full version.

The full version of DriverPack Solution - Full downloaded to your computer is a large ISO file (about 10.2 GB). To open this file, do the following:

When the DriverPack Solution program starts, it will take another couple of minutes to collect information about the devices on your computer and show which drivers are not installed, and for which there are updates. Click the Driver tab. Uninstalled drivers and those drivers for which there are newer versions will be displayed below. Click the "Install and Update" button:

A new window will open, where you need to check the "Install drivers" item and then tick all the offered drivers. Next, check the 2 boxes below (see point 2 in the image below) to accept the license agreement when installing the drivers and for Windows to create a restore point.

Recovery checkpoint Is a so-called "snapshot" of the current state of Windows. This allows, if something goes wrong with the system, to restore it to its previous state (at the time when the checkpoint was created).

The process takes a different amount of time. It all depends on how many drivers you have not installed, how many updates are required and, of course, on the performance of your computer. It can take about 20 minutes, and sometimes even longer.

The program also has a more advanced mode, which displays more settings. This is expert mode. You can enable it by checking the "Settings" option on the left side of the window and then "Expert Mode":

In the same place you can see the option "Save logs to disk". This feature is unlikely to come in handy for ordinary users. It allows you to save on your computer special files with reports on the results of installation and updates.

After turning on the expert mode, 3 buttons will appear opposite each driver:

From left to right, these buttons mean: automatic driver installation, manual driver installation, download a driver from the Internet. Manual installation allows you to display the driver installation process, and when you select the 3rd function, you can simply download the driver file manually from the Internet to then continue with the installation. With automatic installation, I think everything is clear: we pressed the button and the driver completely installed itself, without giving you any messages and without asking anything :)

This is the principle of using the DriverPack Solution program. There is nothing complicated, but it should be understood that the program, unfortunately, does not always install all the drivers. For example, on one of the laptops (Asus N75S), where I conducted the experiment on installing drivers, I did not want to install the driver on the chipset using the Online version of the program - DriverPack Online. It was installed through the full version of the program. But on the other hand, the driver for the video card was not installed through any of the versions. Of course, judging by various reviews, such problems are not very common. More often than not, the program still finds and installs all the drivers.

This program is great for beginners who still do not know how to only use the Internet and, moreover, cannot find and install the necessary drivers on their own.

In addition to the DriverPack Solution program discussed in this article, there are others, for example, "Carambis Driver Updater". Today I want to tell you about a wonderful program for installing and updating drivers, which must be present in the arsenal of any system administrator. DriverPack Solution contains a huge database of drivers for all versions of Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8) with different bit depth (32 or 64-bit).
Imagine a situation: you came to a friend and, at his request, reinstalled Windows on your computer. After that, in order to be able to fully work, you need to install drivers for the devices. But here's the trouble: a friend has long lost the disks with the drivers, but first make a backup of the drivers with the help of, say, you forgot. Of course, in this case, you can find drivers on the Internet, but: after installing Windows, the network card of the computer, as a rule, is also not detected and therefore it will still not be possible to access the Internet. In addition, the Internet may not yet be connected to the apartment at all. And what about this situation? The only thing that will help out now is CD with DriverPack Solution.

It is very easy to use it. You just need to first (before reinstalling the system) download the program on the official website. Once on the main page of the site, click on the "Download All drivers for free" tab:
On the page that opens, we download the version of DriverPack Solution Full which weighs over 3 GB. To do this, click on the "Download via Torrent" button: A small file with the extension .torrent:We launch it and download it through the client program installed on your computer (of course, you should already have it installed. If you don't have one, take it and install it).

The downloaded folder with the program must be burned to a DVD-disk or to a USB flash drive.

So, all the preparatory operations have been completed, now let's see how the program works on a specific computer with a newly installed operating system.

We insert the disc into the computer drive. The main program window will automatically open (if it did not open, then run the file on the disk with the extension .exe).
We are waiting for about a minute while the program scans the system and detects devices. After that, we will see the message: “Not installed drivers found”:

In it, I remove the checkboxes from the programs (because I don’t want to install them yet) and put a marker in the “Install drivers” item.

In my practice, it sometimes happened that when the driver was installed on the video card, the program hung. In this case, I just rebooted the computer, ran the program again, and then everything went without problems.
