How to abandon the collective television antenna. Disconnecting the television antenna Rostelecom

In addition to providing access to cable, digital and interactive television of various versions, Rostelecom is also engaged in connecting subscribers to analog television. Moreover, this option is very popular throughout the country, including in the capital, in the city of Moscow.

And today we want to pay attention to the nuances of using the analog TV service from Rostelecom, information on how to connect and disconnect it.

Analog TV from Rostelecom

The All-Russian telecommunications provider has given its analogue television service a very original name "Antenna". The service is available for connection to all interested subscribers. After its activation, customers get access to the widest range of television channels, which are broadcast, albeit in an analog signal, but have an impeccable image quality.

By connecting TV, subscribers can count on providing access to all the most popular and demanded TV channels of various topics. Among them are such popular channels as:

  • First;
  • Russia 1;
  • REN-TV;
  • Match TV;
  • Paramount Comedy;
  • Sports plus.

And this list is not limited to the list of available TV programs, including at least several TV channels of each subject.

As for the network coverage area, Rostelecom's analog signal covers most of the Russian Federation, being available in most regions. Therefore, if you want to save money on television, but do not want to give up on it completely, we recommend that you think about connecting the Rostelecom Antenna option.

One of the main advantages of using the "Antenna" option is that subscribers receive invoices for its payment along with a single type of payment document (STD) for utilities and rent payments. This is very convenient, and many RT subscribers take this aspect into account when connecting to a provider.

In addition, it is noted that the company offers preferential discounts to certain categories of its subscribers, which amount to 50% of the monthly subscription fee. The following customers fall under the category of subscribers who can count on benefits:

  • Poor and lonely pensioners for whom the subsidy is issued;
  • Disabled people living independently;
  • Heroes of Labor;
  • Heroes of the Russian Federation;
  • Cavaliers of the Order of Glory;
  • Families of retirees for which the subsidy is issued.

How to connect the Antenna from Rostelecom

In order to connect analog television from the RT company, future subscribers need to contact directly the offices in their city. There they will need to fill out a written application, after which they will have to wait for the arrival of the TV set-up masters.

It is important to note that the initial connection service is not provided free of charge, and the Antenna connection rates include the following payments:

  • Laying the cable to the subscriber device - 2500 rubles;
  • TV set-up - 700 rubles;
  • Laying the cable to the subscriber device (closed method) - 4500 rubles.

That is, depending on how you want the television cable to be laid in your home, the cost of connecting analog television from Rostelecom can vary between 3200 and 5200 rubles.

How to turn off the Antenna Rostelecom

If you are interested in the answer to the question of how to disconnect Antenna from Rostelecom in Moscow or any other city, then it is extremely simple and obvious. You must also contact the provider's office, where you fill out the appropriate application. After it has been processed and you have confirmed your intentions, the appropriate specialists of the provider will arrive at the place of connection to perform the physical disconnection procedure.

After replacing all the "tube" TVs in the apartment with LCD panels, some of which are capable of receiving DVB-T2 digital television on an ordinary wire. The question arose of how to completely disconnect from the AKADO television antenna, because I didn't really want to continue paying for what is distributed by air for free. Moreover, a small TV in the kitchen is mainly connected to the AKADOV antenna, and a TV in the mother's room, so two DVB-T2 multiplexes are still quite enough. A long time ago, I already had the sad experience of disconnecting from the MGTS provider. Sad in the sense that in order to disconnect from them, I had to fill out declarations and travel around Moscow in search of all kinds of automatic telephone exchanges in order to return their electronic junk to them (because the automatic telephone exchange near my house did not suit them).

In general, to disconnect from one single service "Antenna AKADO", to begin with, I shoveled through all the pages in the personal account of AKADO, in search of some kind of button "Disable the service" or "Terminate the contract". The fact that there were no such buttons did not come as a special surprise, because providers are doing everything possible so that the client sat on their needle to the last and did not even think about disconnecting from them. After a naive search for buttons, I read some forums about disabling and terminating an agreement with AKADO. It turned out that without taking your ass off the couch, you can still disconnect if you write a statement by hand and send them a scan or photo of this statement. But here, too, they have a crutch inserted in small print, since you can disconnect in this way from any service, except for "Antenna AKADO". In the end, the most "pleasant" thing is a call to the office, after which it turns out that to disable this service, you need to personally visit the AKADO office, fill out an application form and only after that the service will be disabled, and the agreement with AKADO will be terminated accordingly.

Oddly enough, but the address of the office in Moscow was easily found on their website (metro Proletarskaya, 1st Dubrovskaya street, 1a.), And they dictated it to me by phone, so we google the address and go to the showdown with a passport: -) If you go on your own, then on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line we sit in the first carriage from the center and go to the Proletarskaya station. After passing through the turnstiles, we turn into the passage to the left and then along the nearest stairs to the right, we go up into the city. Then, without unnecessary turns, we go along the 1st Dubrovskaya street, to the house 1A (photo below).

Actually, in the pictures above and below, I marked where this monastery is at the time of this writing, because it is quite possible that soon the office will change its point of deployment. The office is located on the ground floor, on the left, in my case, there were practically no people to the operators, possibly because of the weekend.

After presenting your passport, the operator will give you an application form, by filling out which, you thereby terminate the contract with AKADO (unless, of course, you have no debts to Akado, for any services). In the photo below, a photocopy of the application for termination of the agreement with AKADO, well, an approximate view of the squiggles that will need to be entered. I didn't post a blank form here, as I suspect that they are allergic to the happiness of former clients in their office, so they will deliberately make you sit, sweat and fill out this application in front of them. Moreover, this form may become obsolete at any time due to some new comma :-)

I think if it is stupid not to pay for a year or two for this cable antenna, then perhaps they themselves will unilaterally terminate the contract. But in this case, they can go against the grain, sum up all the debt and try to knock it out through the courts. Therefore, I decided to personally visit the office and set fire to all the bridges connecting me with AKADO :-) In general, I disconnected from AKADO-Telecom in just five minutes, because the office was empty (unless, of course, counting the travel time and collecting information on the network). I am sure that you can terminate the contract without visiting the office, if you know your rights, or have lawyers and lawyers as friends, but in my case, I had to ride a little around underground Moscow. It is sad, of course, that in our time, in order to get money from a person, sometimes the presence of the Internet is enough, but in order to refuse to pay for something that is no longer needed (to get off the needle), you need to personally come to the office and bow down to all its inhabitants: -)

Every month Muscovites pay about 200 rubles for the use of radio communications and a television antenna. At the same time, often none of the services are used: they do not listen to the radio in the house, and alternative operators have been chosen to provide television broadcasting. In this case, it is quite possible to refuse additional payments.

Radio point

The operation of radio points, as a rule, is in charge of city structures. So, in the capital we are talking about the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Moscow City Radio Broadcasting Center”. Muscovites have to pay 56 rubles every month for a socket pre-installed in the house.

You can refuse the service by writing an application either directly to the city radio broadcasting center, or to the district department of the management of engineering services (GU IS). The application, which must be submitted by the person responsible for paying for utilities, will have to attach a paid receipt for the provision of the service. The official form and application form can be found on the official website of the city's radio broadcasting network. The service in Moscow will cost 60 rubles. In addition, you will be asked to show your passport when submitting your application.

Returning the radio to the apartment is also quite simple - you have to leave a request at the one-stop shop of the radio broadcasting center. The connection is made free of charge, only those in whose apartments the necessary equipment has not been installed will have to pay. The simplest model of the receiver will cost 150 rubles. The main social function of the radio point is timely informing Muscovites about emergencies.

Antenna

The subscription fee for using in Moscow today is 135 rubles per month. For this money, the companies "Mostelecom" and "National Cable Network" provide broadcasting of 46 channels in the apartment. In this case, the total number of available channels is always determined individually - depending on the technical capabilities of the subscriber.

You can refuse to use a house antenna by contacting a service or housing organization. The application for disconnection after the presentation of the passport will be accepted directly through the regional GU IS serving the centers of Mostelecom or National Cable Networks. After that, a foreman will be sent to the apartment, who will directly carry out the shutdown work and issue the appropriate certificate. With the certificate, you will have to return to the district office of the Main Directorate of the IS and draw up a recalculation of utility bills. You will not have to pay additional fees for abandoning a television antenna.

An alternative option is to apply for a discount on the payment of an antenna. Pensioners receiving subsidies for utility bills, lonely disabled people, heroes of the USSR and Russia can get a 50% discount. A 20% discount can be obtained by the poor with a monthly income of less than 2.5 thousand rubles. At the same time, in the case of pensioners and people with disabilities with a low monthly income, discounts on payment can be summed up, amounting to a total subsidy of 70%.

Those who wish will have to contact National Cable Networks or Mostelecom directly. In addition to a passport, the organization will be asked to present a pension certificate or a certificate of disability, an extract from the housing organization confirming that only one person lives in the apartment, a certificate of granting subsidies.
