These sites allow you to convert from DWG in all directions. While convenient, online services tend to be slow and have file limits or file sizes. In order not to face such restrictions and not depend on the availability and speed of the Internet, you can install a converter program on your computer.

Free converters and editors

All programs for working with DWG can be divided into two categories: converters and editors. In turn, in each category there are paid and free programs, so all software is divided into four lists. Converters allow you to change the drawing format from any popular to DWG and vice versa. Other programs are intended for viewing and/or editing drawings.

Free converters:

• XnView Extended 2.45- allows you to open not only drawings, but also photos and video content and then save it to any convenient format. There is in Russian.
• DWG True View 2018- the latest version from the AutoCAD developer. Guaranteed to open any desired drawing and save it in the required format.
• Free DWG Viewer- there is an opportunity to change the document format when saving (Save as ...). The latest version of the program is 16.0.2.11.
• Irfan View 4.51- simple and light program, allowing you to quickly open large files, even on weak computers. There is in Russian.
• PDF24 Creator 8.6.0- a free program from the developer geek Software GmbH, which is " virtual printer". Weighs only 22 MB, provides convenient work with explorer, supports all popular formats.
• doPDF 9.4.241- simple and handy program, which allows you to convert any documents to PDF, from drawings to Microsoft spreadsheets Excel.

Concerning free editors for DWG drawings, then the only complete solution can be considered LibreCAD (Current version 2.1.3). This is the only free CAD software that has an open source and is available for download at librecad.org. The program is in Russian, there are many instructions for operation and configuration on the network.

To convert drawings saved in AutoCAD formats to pdf files, you need to open each drawing in sequence in AutoCAD program and do the following with it:

1. In AutoCAD, click "Print".

8. Select the sheet size from the Format list: either the sheet that we created, or another one you need.

12. In the Print Style Table, select "monochrome.ctb" (if the drawing should turn out black and white) or something else (Fig. 12).

14. If necessary, change the orientation of the drawing with the "portrait" or "landscape" point.
15. Click "Apply to sheet" (Fig. 13).
16. Click "View" and check what happened.
