It will only work if you have never been caught by a normal phone, otherwise it sucks

Show more

Pros: Low price tag

Cons: Brake. Glitched. GPS practically does not work. It heats up like an oven.

I have been using it for almost 2.5 years, a very good phone model of its kind, the price is fully consistent with the quality, I used it carefully, dropped it to a minimum, even slightly wet it with water, everything went through and works fine, even retained its presentation.

Show more

Advantages: Design - a very nice design, affordable price, took in 2014, almost 5k rubles, despite the fact that the analogues of this phone for such a price were many times inferior to this model, a good camera, there is autofocus, RAM.

Disadvantages: There are gaps (slots) where the screen is, dirt and dust clog in there, water can get in, glitches with gps, although this can be solved somehow programmatically, through firmware, small own memory, but in principle it is difficult even to attribute this to minuses, battery - I thought it would keep the charge longer with active use, if you actively use it, then it won’t be enough for a day, if it’s rational, then you can stretch it for three days

I worked out my three years of very active and not very careful use for 5. It still works, but there are too many errors on one device

Show more

Pluses: I don’t play with toys, I needed the phone for work and did an excellent job with this task. In the first 2 years of life, I quite well pulled up to 5 applications. The camera is great in good light.

Disadvantages: with constant use, the battery is barely enough for 8 hours of operation, but it is worth giving a discount, because every other day I dropped it very much every other day, yes every day. two years later, the flashlight and autofocus, buttons stopped working, a very funny bug appeared: in the middle of the day, the phone rewinds all actions until the alarm rings, and it does it in a couple of minutes: remember your day in two minutes.

After 1.5 years, it began to hang in sleep mode (with wi fi turned on, every sleep mode, and without it, 5.6 times a day), the service did not help, a purple blackout appeared in the photo in half a year in the center. This China is for one year .And my wife bought a G5S and after seven months a spot appeared on the screen, but so far at least it works without glitches.

Pros: Fitted everything.

Show more

Pros: 1) Battery. 2) Screen resolution. 3) Gorilla glass. 4) IPS mattress.

Disadvantages: 1) Little RAM (albeit 1gb). 2) The screen is not visible in the sun. 3) Raw axle. 4) Weight (for whom, how).

This is generally good China. I was not lucky with WiFi, others did not seem to have problems. Took for $220 (6800r) in China in 2012. It still lasts, I'm not going to change. Work without brakes: Internet, Yandex applications, reader, WSP Office office documents, remote administration (RDP, TeamViewer), flash drive, USB modem mode just saves if the stationary Internet breaks when playing poker, pictures for information, barcode recognition , Skype, ICQ, Navitel, 2gis, organizer, reminders, tower defense games, PS and 888 poker clients. Well, for the latter, a tablet is better and more convenient.

Show more

Pluses: Screen (dots not visible, HD) Price! Battery Build quality The camera is quite suitable for a phone, but does not like room lighting. Support for SD 2x SIM It sews well without problems Glass - not a single scratch - there is no film and cover (almost 3 years already) In general, the filling is very good for its price. In the book reader and dialer mode, it lasts 6 days for me (without data transfer, WiFi and navigator. You need to make sure that the processor does not stick to the maximum)

Disadvantages: The back cover does not like to be opened often - it breaks along the edge. GPS - it’s not like it didn’t work out to fix it - it clings to any firmware without an Internet and with any patches for 5-15 minutes - it doesn’t catch well in the car, you have to keep it outside the window until it catches the satellites. WiFi - on stock and its clones (4.0) I was torn all the time 2-3 times per minute, on firmware based on 4.2 WiFi is stable, but there are other jambs - black screens after calls, freezes, reboots during a conversation, confusing the internal memory with the correct configuration of the drives (depending on the firmware). PS: finally found a firmware that works fine - on w3bsit3-dns.com from Xperia. Only 1 noticeable minus - after charging, the percent sticks to 100%, it seems to be treated, but I just overload it and it goes away. I also added the volume of the microphone.

in 2014 he took from China for 5500 rubles. I took myself and my brother. Holds the battery for 2 days. The phone looks like a brick, it's just huge. Normal cheap phone, typical Chinese. With "Chinese" flaws. But has never failed me yet. Definitely worth your money. It was cheap BEFORE the crisis =) now decide for yourself.

Show more

Pros: Price Battery 2 sims Camera normal

Disadvantages: It is buggy - once a week it turns off by itself. In the cold, the screen does not work - it starts to press itself in a random place. The back cover was covered with scratches for a month. The proximity sensor is buggy - half a minute passes before the screen lights up after the conversation. The front panel fell off - put it on the glue for a moment.

5 months of use - the top metal insert fell off - glued it back. 8 months - the battery died, I ordered a new one. 14 months - two dead pixels appeared, the screen dies. The end result is a lack of quality. It seems that everything is fine and functioning, but the quality ... I bought a simpler chew for my mother, there is also light + bugs the wheelbarrow. I won't take this company again.

Show more

Pros: Good sound, features/price were good when I bought it. Nice front panel. good gps.

Disadvantages: The battery lives for a long time, but starting from 30% it melts in 2 minutes to 5%. I have screen glare from the very beginning. You can see the touchscreen grid. Terrible back panel. Rigid rubber boots.

Bought a little over a year ago. I bought it for the sake of sporting interest to look at Chinese technology, and to play a bit. Then the corporate tariff changed and I got as much as 10 GB of Internet, and there was nothing to do on the Internet on my old samsung s3600. And began to use the Chinese. And I liked it. I did not reflash anything, did not change anything. I put Russian, removed some of the icons with hieroglyphs and that's it. I have a consumerist attitude to phones - there is nothing to blow off dust particles from it. The phone is for me, not me for the phone ... I periodically drop it, a couple of times I fell on the asphalt, a couple of times on the concrete floor. The panel flew off from the speaker, glued it "for a moment and use it further. I use Yandex traffic jams, look at mail, make pictures and send them by mail, call, and very rarely write SMS. I practically stopped using the tablet, which I had previously used for the above purposes. Only I watch movies on a plane on a tablet. The rest is all on smart. I immediately bought myself a charger and an extra battery. It's convenient. When I bought the phone, it cost a little more than 5000 tr. for that kind of money there are no shortcomings. The quiet sound of the call cured me by installing mp3 melody on a call and some kind of amplifier program ... I didn’t stick the film, because it’s like "Gorilla Glass", a cover is ordinary rubber on the body. From the edges of the frame, the paint slowly peels off from falls and an indifferent attitude. In general, I'm happy with everything.

Show more

Advantages: Good price to pandemonium with exchange rates and the rapid fall of the ruble ... Rich functionality. tenacious. The ability to replace the battery and charge it separately from the phone ...

Disadvantages: Minor glitches and "unremovable Chinese"

If we are talking about the JIAYU JY-G3 MTK6589T, then I can’t say anything bad, it was not stolen from me for half a year yet, the pictures for 8 mp are not bad, but only in good weather, in bad weather the contrast increases and some shooting details are not at all read, go into the dark. (see examples of photos here: https://fotki.yandex.ru/users/alexander-lazorenko/album/222437/) I set up a game with races, drove until I got tired of it, I didn’t observe lags at all, by the way, it’s better to install another camera, for example: Camera FV-5, you'll get a lot of manual settings besides aperture of course, i.e. adjusting the sharpness of the background is not real, there is no video there. It’s better to shoot a video on your own encoder (see an example of a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_H-BDdPe0vk by the way, after driving it to YouTube, it started to twitch, and it shows smoothly on a computer from the original) , I had misunderstandings with calls, for some reason the sound sometimes disappeared on calls, you increase it works and they call, you can’t hear it at all, If you put it with vibro, the sound worked fine. If you fly without vibration and do not indulge, then the charge was enough for 8.5 days, honestly, I myself was surprised. Wify works fine, TV channels from neta naur, I installed Skype, but for some reason it went into shutdown mode when the Internet was lost, and I constantly had to log in again with a password and login, Probably if NET is active all the time, it should work, as seen from Skype so-so, but if you switch the external camera, it becomes cleaner. Headphones via bluetooth also work fine, although the batteries quickly sit down in the headphones.

Good day! I've been sitting on the muska for three months now, so it's my time to write my first review. Just the reason - the arrival of the new Jiayu G3S.

The phone was bought on a promotion at , plus an additional battery was ordered for $ 5, here's the total price of $ 180.99. About an interesting confusion with add. battery - a little later :)

This is not my first purchase on Aliexpress. Before that, Jiayu G3 was purchased and a cover for it. I already sold the G3 and didn’t think about the review, but I use the case with the current phone, I’ll review it a little later.

The first thing is tracking. 23 days from receiving the correct track (25 from receiving the wrong one). Well, against the backdrop of 36 days of tedious waiting for the first G3 - a pretty good result. There were also problems with receiving - the stubborn "workers" of the Russian Post in a rather rude and mocking manner announced to me that they would not look for anything without notification. I had no time to wait for a notice, so after the threat of writing a complaint against them, they immediately had a desire to find me a package.

Now I suggest you look at the characteristics of the phone indicated at the time of purchase (now they are selling the G3T in full and have changed the characteristics to new ones).

Now let's start the review itself. Package. It is a phone box wrapped in one layer of bubble wrap.

Now the box itself. It is made of thick cardboard, looks quite presentable, but the edges are wrinkled - i.e. no longer suitable for a gift. Although…

We take out the very bed of the phone and accessories from the cardboard box. What do we see there?

In sachets.

Without them.

Here we have:
-telephone;
- battery Li-Ion 2750mAh;
- battery Li-Pol 3000mAh;
-USB cable for charging and connecting to other devices (by the way, there is no OTG support, he said, until he forgot);
- Z / U and an adapter for a euro socket;
-headphones;
- a sheet of stickers with information about the device;
- protective film on the screen.

What surprised me was the absence of any hints of instructions. Later I understood why - they sewed up an electronic manual in Chinese directly into the phone. The move is quite controversial. I'm sorry, I don't have screenshots (whoever has - share, add to the review, I didn't think about them right away).

Close-up of a sticker with information about the device and IMEI.

Outwardly, the G3S differs from the G3 in the designation of slots for SIM cards: in the G3 they are marked with "G" and "W" like; G3S has SIM1 and SIM2.

Now batteries. Let's start with the fact that two original Li-Ion 2750mAh batteries were supposed to arrive. And the original Li-Pol 3000mAh arrived (these come with 1.5-GHz G3T) and the fake Li-Ion 2750mAh (weighs 44 grams instead of 54). The seller rested and by hook or by crook proves that this plant supplies fake batteries. Requested a moneyback for this - zero response. If tomorrow does not answer, I will open a dispute. In the meantime, here's a photo of the batteries.

We charge a 3000mAh battery into the phone, insert an MTS SIM card and a 16GB flash drive. Everything goes off the rails. By the way, about the battery - supposedly 2750mAh started right away; at 3000mAh only with the help of charging, although it was approximately 55% charged.

And let's immediately move on to reviewing the appearance of the phone, although it seems to me that everyone has already seen it. The left end is empty; on the right - the volume rocker, which can still unlock the phone (and the "+" on it allows you to take a picture in camera mode); the top edge is a 3.5mm jack connector and an on/off button; on the bottom end - an inverted micro-USB connector and a hole for a microphone.

The back panel is VERY easily soiled, as many have already said, and on a silver phone (I had a silver G3) it is not so noticeable. And that's why there's such a beautiful back surface...

… in the blink of an eye turns into something terrible.

By the way, about the complete film. It took me a couple of days. Now I know that I need to be more careful. Already ripped off. You need to look for high-quality and matte.

Now the bumper. Looks pretty decent.

However, it was worth putting it on the phone, as some problems got out. It seems that this bumper is one of those that are made anyhow and cost less than a dollar. From below, he did not sit down at first at all, but after a couple of days of use, he seemed to have taken shape and now the situation is better.

Now a charger and an adapter for an euro plug. Honestly - I still don’t understand what current the charger is designed for - probably stupid. 3000mAh battery charged in ~3 hours. It seems like they found out that the charger is 1A. Picking up an adapter for our plug, at first I thought that it would fall apart - it feels completely unreliable. But it seems like it has already withstood a couple of charges, so it's not so bad.

Separately, I would like to say about the headphones. This is exactly the case when there is no desire to throw out the complete headphones as soon as possible. With small external differences (no Jiayu identification marks), these ears have already been described by a friend.

Well, I suggest you compare the sizes of cardboard boxes from Jiayu G3 and Jiayu G3S. Unfortunately, I did not have a plastic case from the G3.

It's time to start the phone. And the first thing we see is an excellent 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, covered with Gorilla Glass (and I have no reason to doubt this). I don’t know how much I managed to convey his steepness in the photo - probably not by much. But the display is excellent.

Now let's move on to the camera tests. The front one is declared as 2.0, and in principle it looks like the truth. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures with it. Therefore, I will show you pictures with the rear 8-megapixel camera (which I shrunk to 40% of the original size; this did not affect the quality in any way, in general, you can get an idea of the quality. 4mb).

Panoramas are quite good for the phone. I was convinced that the panoramas are terrible. But there is.

The phone is pre-installed with not the cleanest Android version 4.2.1 with root, a bunch of Chinese programs and a launcher from Jiayu (which, as far as I understand, is taken from LeWa OS and remade). It even has interchangeable themes.

AnTuTu results that I got on this firmware.

Then I, one might say, freaked out and sewed MIUI OS based on Android 4.2.1 into my phone. The TWRP recovery was installed in a minute, in another 3 - MIUI itself from the recovery. It started up for 2 minutes, after which the phone was ready to go. Personally, I liked this firmware much more than my own.

However, AnTuTu Tester showed about 600 fewer parrots.

Wi-Fi test, 2 meters and 15 meters through 2 brick walls from the router, respectively.

Honest multi-touch for 5 touches.

35FPS in NenaMark2.

I won’t show you the GPS Test - the phone saw 11 satellites, but neither after 3, nor after 5, nor after 10 minutes did he want to connect to them (In use - 0).

In addition, I came across a problem known among G3S owners - the vibration motor overheats and refuses to work for a while. The solution is to replace it. But that doesn't bother me.

In general, what do we have?
+ Excellent display;
+ Excellent performance for reasonable money;
+ Glass Gorilla Glass 2 (no matter what anyone says, I personally tend to think that it is there);
+ Solid appearance (not like remnants of Gnusmas, IMHO);

Unexpected actions of the seller;
- Terribly easily soiled plastic case.

EDIT: Adding info.

First, about the sound. The speaker is good, the interlocutor can be heard even in crowded places. The external speaker sounds very good and loud, and even at the maximum it does not break into a wheeze and continues to play at a good level.
Of the not the worst headphones, I have Explay MPH335 earplugs (honestly, nothing else). The phone “pumps” them to the fullest, the sound is loud and clear, the bass is there, and very juicy, I like it.

Now about GPS. The method described by a friend in the comments helped, namely:

With GPS The solution is very simple - give him the Internet (and not take it away), turn on all sorts of EPO and AGPS, let him find satellites and forget about problems. On G3 - determined in 30 seconds after finding it in 4-10 seconds.
Well on par with galaxy note n7000
I tried to do as he described, and - oh, a miracle! Cold start about 2-3 minutes, sees 8 satellites, uses 6.

We turn off the Internet, restart the GPS, what we see.

Everything really worked really well.

Now about the time of work. So far, I don’t risk pulling a fake 2750mAh, although the day went just with it, and quite successfully. Now 3000mAh is installed, with very intensive use, by the evening there are 20 percent left. If only for calls, an hour and a half of the Internet and the same number of games, then it’s enough for two days calmly. During the night he eats 1-2% in the usual (non-air) mode.

Please note that this is my first review and I tried to make it as good as I can. I will be glad to hear criticism or requests to add any information that interests you.

On 4PDA they write that there is no such modification of 3T, this is how the versions of the latest releases are marked, revisions, so to speak - there are differences in the hardware, in the firmware and, apparently, in the assembly ... In any case, the stickers under the battery look somewhat contradictory, well, yes and god bless him...

The device arrived in this package: the declared value is 10 dollars, marked "Gift", "Electronics". This is a note to those who have "customs".

The box is slightly wrinkled, although it itself is made of multilayer pressed cardboard - almost like plywood. There was a lot of bubbles inside, so the kit was not damaged.

And the kit is not rich: instructions (with a guarantee and an OTK stamp, which, as they say “no”) in Chinese, a clumsy charger and a cord for it with USB-microUSB ends half a meter long - how did they get to save on the length of the charging cords, you have to order separately one and a half meters, I'm already tired of all these pygmy tails - and the device itself.

The battery is sealed with tape - so that nothing turns on by itself.

Insert SIM card and memory card

Turn on, it works

Viewing angles are, of course, normal, from direct sunlight does not go blind. Well, here, for example, next to the Lenovo A390, and the brightness of the lenovo screen is set to the maximum, and that of the jiyaka is half. And then, this lenovo has very good angles too.

The edges of the device are not overloaded: a volume rocker, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an ON button “on the top” and a micro-usb connector on the “bottom”. As you can see, the build quality is excellent, there are no “humps” anywhere.

Let's look at the device specifications and antutu tests

Unlike Lenovo A390, which could not catch satellites in the apartment, the jiyaka confidently found them and very accurately determined my location - fine, the receiver, therefore, is sensitive, so we will write it down.
The device steadily "pulls" heavy applications - the game The Natives works without brakes. Yahoo Messenger was installed on the phone and even a video plugin for it (everything works fine) - this is my first android device with such an opportunity.
In the hand, the device is too big and heavy - with my tonkomoto it looks like a monster. I don’t even know if I personally need such a harsh device ...

Wi-Fi works stably, in general the phone itself does not slow down and does not buggy, everything is very clear and fast, it is pleasant to manipulate.
Okay, how are things, in fact, with the telephone part? And good business. Both conversational and call dynamics are loud and of high quality. I have no complaints about the quality of the connection (the operation of the transceiver, the voice codec): I can hear perfectly and legibly, and so do I. The device does not lose the network even in an elevator (only Motorola could boast of this).
With a load of "only calls" plus GPS orientation several times (wi-fi is on, bluetooth is on, one SIM card) for 20 minutes a day - two days and a little. It could be better ... But it will do - the battery is already 3Ah, much more ...
The device takes good pictures, geometric distortion is quite moderate

There is a flash that can be switched into a fairly bright flashlight - it shines "here", you can comfortably illuminate a room such as a landing. It does not shine in the distance.
That's basically all I can tell you. Everyone liked the device: build quality, bright screen, connection quality. Big only...
Thank you for attention!

How long have you had this device?

It's been 10 days since I received it.

Do you use it until now? If not, why did you break up with him?

Not using. I gave it to my wife for temporary use. Let him get used to good things.

How did you get this device? By what criteria was it chosen? Where and how much was bought?

I ordered from Aliexpress. Long looked closely, read thematic forums. Selection criteria - reliability, long-lasting battery, camera with flash, Gorilla glass on the screen, viewing angles, behavior in sunlight, two SIM cards, Android 4.2, quad-core processor, at least 1 GB of RAM, screen size no more than 5 inches and resolution no more less HD. I bought it not for myself, but for my son - a second-year technical school student, and on his scholarship. But, as it always happens, although he participated in the choice, it was I who slipped him the options. So we chose "together" what I wanted for myself. I ordered it in the 20th of November, and already on the 21st of December I was holding it in my hands. The seller sent it by Singapore Post. The journey from China to Kazakhstan took about 3 weeks (including the preparation and verification of the phone by the seller), and the parcel went through Kazakhstan for a week.

The price of the phone at the time of purchase was 169.99 US MNT. Now she has grown a little. Included were a gift silicone case and a stylus. For some time now, the second battery has not been included in the package of phones sent by mail due to restrictions of postal services.

Unboxing video:

First turn on:

What do you like? Strengths, virtues.

The bar-like body of this phone does not look so monotonous. True, some still see it as similar to other brands, such as the iPhone for example. I don’t know, I don’t have such associations. But the Samsung shovels managed to pall. Moreover, they have become the favorite phones of the female part (its young part) of the population. Almost every second girl under 30 walks with a phone over 5 inches.

So, I repeat, the size of 4.5 inches at the present time is the lowest limit of the screen size of a phone that claims to be an HD screen. It is possible, of course, to fit the same number of pixels on a smaller size, however, there will be no sense. And the shape of the case, angular at first glance, evokes a feeling of reliability.

I want to explain right now. Why don't I call the phone by name? I certainly know how his name is pronounced. Jiayu G3S. I specifically launched Google Translator to listen to how it sounds in Chinese. It turned out something like Dzya-U-I. I can’t call such a good phone like that, I can’t turn my tongue. To call him, as they say about him on the forums, "zhuyka" or in general "Egg" - too, because I like him. In the future, I will simply call it a smartphone or phone. That's what I call home.

For those who did not watch the unpacking video, I will tell you what exactly came in the box. By the way, I apologize for the video, I shot it on a camera that does not have the function of shooting video in HD quality, and I still can’t buy a tripod for it.

So, in the box were:

  • the phone itself in a green silicone case and with a pasted shipping film;
  • a 1 A charger with a Chinese (well, at least not ours) plug;
  • charger adapter for our sockets;
  • USB-microUSB cable for connecting to a computer and for a charger;
  • film on the screen;
  • the stylus put by the seller (as well as the case) as a gift.

    Equipment:

    Phone types:

    To be honest, the green cover of a poisonous acid color caused a slight shock. The phone I ordered is black. It goes without saying to me that the cover should be black. But that's what I thought. Phone makers don't seem to take into account wishes and put cases in boxes on a random basis. Well at least they didn't put pink. I expressed my "fi" to the seller, but by that time the green-black color combination had already become familiar and even native. I'm not offended by the seller's cover. By the way, a case for this phone is not a luxury, but a necessity. According to reviews, the black paint on the sides of the phone next to the screen begins to peel off over time, and the case protects against this. And, of course, some kind of protection in the event of a fall. Another plus of the cover is that the phone in the hands is held like a glove, it does not strive to slip out.

    Frame

    Heavy, metal. Of course, it's not all metal. I don't mean the screen - it's supposed to be glass. But the back cover of the battery compartment looks flimsy. This feeling appears when you take it off, it is thin, the latches come unfastened with a crunch, causing concern for their integrity. But in the assembled state, the phone feels like a monolithic (and it does not creak or play) black bar, pleasant to the touch. The surfaces are smooth, but do not slip out of the hands. Gets dirty with your fingers quickly, and also quickly wipes off. The screen does not have an oleophobic coating, fingers also remain. I put a film on the screen. I didn’t stick my native one - I went to the service, paid for their matte film, and they stuck it to me. Enough for a while, with a matte film, fingerprints on the screen are less noticeable.

    The case is made of silicone, sat on the body perfectly. It's much more comfortable to hold. A sort of replacement for softtouch. I can say one more thing about the cover. It has a rough surface and gets dirty quickly in the field. And since the surface is not smooth, it takes effort to wash.

    Screen

    The screen size is just right for one-handed operation. In most cases, a second hand is not needed. Well, except to press the screen lock button, it is not very conveniently located on top. But unlocking also works from the volume keys. The volume down key can be used as a shutter button in the camera app. I have not yet figured out how autofocus works.

    More about the screen. Viewing angles are excellent in my opinion. Specially took pictures from different angles. There are no comments.

    cameras

    The main camera of the phone. It is eight megapixel. In order to take pictures of bus schedules, a beautiful view, a child who is not averse to posing - all this is possible with good lighting. There is autofocus, and it even does its job. But not fast, in low light conditions, even at home, it slows down. However, an ordinary phone camera, not Karl Zeiss of course.

    At work:

    In the camera settings, you can set "full screen". With this function, the phone takes pictures with an aspect ratio of 16:10 (maybe 16:9, I had no time to check). But at the same time, the maximum resolution is reduced to 6 megapixels. That is, in fact, 2 extra bands at the top and bottom of the photo are cropped. I do not presume to judge, but such a decision seemed strange to me. The functions include panoramic shooting (there is okay, the quality is disgusting, they did it for show), shooting a 3D image (this is when you shoot an object from different angles and you can also view it, but only on your phone), quality settings, etc. Didn't understand, didn't test them all.

    The front camera, although it is claimed to be 2 megapixels, is somehow not sure about that. She has a very poor quality. In order to capture a self-portrait for an avatar on a forum or in a Google account, it will do.

    Video filming. Both cameras support HD shooting. Frontal supports in quotation marks.

    See examples below.

    Video taken with the front camera:

    Video from the main camera:

    I hope you are not offended that I did not shoot a longer video? In my opinion, everything is so clear. Somehow I was hoping for the best. Maybe with good lighting everything will be different?

    Performance

    Well, I went to the place where this phone is on horseback.

    The MTK6589T processor with 4 cores at 1.5 GHz, paired with 1 GB of RAM gives sufficient performance for almost all tasks that may arise. Recently, people have complained about the brakes even in the Android interface. Now the time has finally come when we can forget about it. I had no reason to complain.

    Below are screenshots of benchmarks.

    Quadrant:

    NenaMark:

    AnTuTu 3DRating:

    Operating system

    The operating system Android 4.2.1 is installed, not naked. Pre-installed a number of unnecessary applications for non-Chinese.

    Your Lancer. It takes getting used to. But after a couple of days, the desire to put, for example, Apex - was gone.

    Ruth was out of the box. Therefore, I did not have to look for ways to rut. Titanium restored everything from another android device, demolished the Chinese, and that's it, the settings are over.

    About the built-in memory: out of 4 GB, part is occupied by the system. The remaining 2.8 GB is dedicated to installing applications. There is no space left for the built-in flash card at all. Therefore, without an additional flash card, it is impossible even to take a photo. Some may find the decision controversial. For such, there are always programs for repartitioning the phone's memory or simply downloading another firmware. Fortunately, there are a lot of them in the open spaces w3bsit3-dns.com and china-iphone. For example, the same LewaOS. I did not put it only because the phone was not intended for me personally. And the advantages of having all the available built-in memory dedicated to applications are obvious. No need to rack your brains where to look for the downloaded file, which of the sdcard, external or internal for example. Well, of course, everyone has their own preferences. And buying memory cards is not a problem now.

    Another plus that I almost forgot about is status LED. When charging, it lights red up to 90% of the charge. Then green, which can be confusing (the charge has not yet ended). When discharged up to 15%, it also signals in red the need to find an outlet. In fact, you don’t have to worry much, for a couple of hours or even more, this charge will be enough (if you don’t continue to play or download something big). It also signals green missed calls, SMS and other messages. Comfortable.

    Pro battery capacity I can say a little - Antutu tester knocked out 600 with a little points. These are parrots. During use (several days) charged every other day. For two days of not very active use was enough.

    Screenshots of battery consumption:

    Charger Pictures:

    I didn't use my original charger. I have several from other phones. The native cord is a bit short, so I use the charger with the longer one. I did not test for speed charging. During the night it charges and it's fine.

    Multitouch

    I describe simply because for the first time I encountered a multi-touch for 7 touches. As they say, "neither two nor one and a half." 5 touches, it seems to me, would be enough for the eyes. When I tested it, I could hardly fit these same 7 fingers on a seemingly rather large screen.

    Multi-touch test:

    Navigation

    Yes, I tested. Yes, I got results. Cold start in 111 seconds on the windowsill in the apartment (3rd floor, facing southwest into the courtyard of the same 6-storey houses). Previously, using the header from the forum on china-iphone, I set it up. I did this test for the sake of testing. Navigation itself is needed like a mare's fifth leg.

    By the way, there are a lot of reviews about the incorrect operation of GPS in this phone, that sometimes it is necessary to solder something there. Perhaps this is so, but I passed by.

    behavior in the sun

    I bring photos of the phone in the sun. The photos, I must say right away, were taken at home, for the only reason: the frost hit at 20 degrees, and I didn’t smile at all to go out with a phone and a camera in my hands. Photos give a general idea of the screen brightness margin. You can see (yes, what can you see - see) and read the message written on the screen even in bright light, well, maybe you will have to cover your hand a little from glare. By the way, I didn’t check the auto-adjustment of brightness, and I don’t dare to say how it behaves.

    Photos of the phone screen in the sun at maximum brightness, at medium and at minimum:

    Telephone component

    Calls, dials, the interlocutor is heard, I can be heard. Everything is standard. When installing a new SIM card, it asks which one to use for voice calls, which one for video (and for 3G, respectively). You can set it to always ask which SIM card to call from, which message to send from. In the phone book, you can link a number to a SIM card. I met something else only with LewaOS. There, the dialer interface allows you to select a SIM card for calls by moving the slider under the dialer.

    About communication standards

    Both SIMs support 3G WCDMA2100 and no other. That is, if your favorite provider works in a different standard, then you will not see 3G as your ears. I encountered this, "mourned" and put the unsupported SIM card on the shelf for a while while I had the phone. With two other providers that are in our area, the phone works without comment. I had to manually enter the connection parameters, I didn’t pick it up myself. And the speed was 64 kbps. After 2 days of trying to figure out what I was doing wrong, I called support - they rebooted something there, I turned the phone off and on, and oops - the speed increased to 7 Mbps for reception. And I sinned on the body.

    HD video playback

    Especially for such cases, I have 2 test videos in FullHD quality (trailers of some films) on a flash drive. The stock player played both of them, but one of them was silent. The reason is that you need to disable hardware decoding, but it does not have this in the settings. I used the standard MX player for such cases. Both are played, and with sound. A very controversial issue about the need to play such a video on a small screen. Movies never weigh that little. There are also 7 GB and more. Maybe it's better to use a TV? Well, or a computer with a good screen?

    Games

    For the test, I installed Real Racing 3. My son played. What can be said? Brakes appear, but only with a large number of cars. There is an image in the rear-view mirrors. The son did not experience discomfort during the game. He will pass the session, get the phone back (if he passes it well) and test it again.

    What's not to like? Weaknesses, shortcomings.

    It has a weak front camera.

    What do you miss in it?

    WCDMA900 for tele2.

    What features do you use frequently?

    Skype. Viber installed. Reader. Internet. gmail. Camera.

    What features do you use occasionally?

    Mail.ru agent.

    What features do you not use at all?

    I didn't even check bluetooth. Now I don’t have a headset (I gave it away as unnecessary in good hands until it died of old age), and I was too lazy to connect to phones.

    Has the device been repaired?

    No, and I hope not.

    What troubles happened with the device? What glitches were noticed?

    There are no such.

    Try to compare this device with other models that you have used.

    An extremely good Chinese smartphone. Maybe, because of the economy, I had to deal with devices that require some additional steps for setting up, finishing, flashing, etc. But this device does not need it. All operations to fit the smartphone for themselves took 2-3 hours, including restoring applications from backup and photographing the process of unpacking and first switching on.

    What else can you say?

    This is a work phone. Not for entertainment, show-off, toys. Although it is also suitable for all these purposes, the processor and memory allow you to do almost everything on it. But again, this is a solid phone for work. I lost interest in it a little when I realized that there was no need to set it up, to mess around with it. The quality of Chinese smarts (and not only smarts) is growing and very noticeable. Let's wait for the opportunity to test something 8-core.

    9 out of 10. Subtracted one point for not having WCDMA900. I recommend to everyone to buy.
