It can easily replace an inexpensive one while traveling and is suitable for casual passing shots.

Of course, there is no question of any convenience of using one hand here - not a single phablet is designed for use with one hand, in any case, you will have to use both.
Dimensions iPhone 6 Plus - 158 × 77.8 × 7.1 mm, weight - 171 grams. If we compare the dimensions with Samsung Galaxy Note 3, then Apple iPhone 6 Plus will be almost a centimeter higher, a little narrower, a millimeter thicker and slightly heavier. The color reproduction is close to natural, when the display is tilted, the colors do not shift, and the image remains readable in the sun. The maximum brightness will strain your eyes, so it is better to turn on auto-brightness. Note that the function works quickly and quite correctly. As a rule, all phablets receive Full HD resolution, or even higher, although, in our opinion, Full HD will be enough for such a diagonal.
The iPhone 6 Plus's display is good for multimedia, but there are a few niggles. At least at the moment, not all applications are optimized for new display: In many cases, the image is simply stretched, for example, when starting Asphalt 8, the image appears grainy and pixelated. The problem is likely to be resolved in the near future, but you won't be able to take full advantage of the big iPhone 6 just yet.
Cameras - 4.6
Apple is not in the pixel race. The smartphone uses an 8 MP camera with flash, although it would be more correct to say with backlight. The maximum photo resolution is 3264×2448 pixels. Thanks to the phase focusing system, the smartphone focuses quickly enough, but, as our tests showed, the laser focus on the LG G3 still works faster. A nice addition to the big iPhone 6 was the optical stabilization system, which is not on the "regular" six, by the way, this is the only difference between the cameras of the two iPhone 6. We were not able to notice any significant difference from shooting due to optical stabilization - iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 and 5s shoot about the same.
The camera interface is simple, there are almost no options for customization. You do not have to think and adjust when shooting - everything happens automatically. Given that the camera does a good job on its own, this can be called a plus.
The maximum resolution for video shooting is 1920 × 1080 pixels, the recording speed at maximum resolution- 30 or 60 fps. The smartphone has the ability to record at a speed of 120, and even 240 fps. There is a slow-motion video feature, but the resolution drops to 1280×720 pixels and the light sensitivity noticeably worsens, which is logical, since the camera has less time to “catch” the light. Slow motion lighting on the iPhone 6 should be mentioned separately: you will not always be able to shoot indoors at a speed of 240 fps - everything will depend on the frequency of fluctuations in the brightness of the lamps and the depth of its modulation. Judge for yourself, in HD-video viewing mode on maximum brightness the device ran out of juice in about 7 and a half hours versus 6 hours and 40 minutes for the iPhone 6. Not much, although we expected it to be more. Apparently, the noticeable difference in both resolution and display size makes itself felt.
In the audio player mode, the display parameters are unimportant, so the charge of the smartphone was enough for 79 hours. By the way, Apple promised 80 hours of autonomy in player mode, and so it happened. Still, it's nice when the manufacturer does not deceive. However, in games, the battery charge is melting before our eyes - just half an hour of racing ate as much as 13% of the battery!

In this case, it should be noted that the games available in the App Store were created and / or specially optimized for the iPhone, so there are no and should not be any difficulties with launch, operation or compatibility. As our tests have shown, the results of the Apple iPhone 6 Plus in daily use are excellent. In synthetic iPhone tests 6 Plus showed results comparable to its competitors, despite the "outdated" and "weak" characteristics. So, in the Ice Storm Unlimited test from the 3DMark benchmark, the large iPhone received 17780 points, in GeekBench 3 - 2915.
