IPad app store not working. Failure to connect to the App Store

Once upon a time, I already wrote an article. Today I spent more global work... For several hours in a row (about 8-9) I collected and systematized iTunes errors and their solutions into a separate pivot table... To do this, I checked at once with several sites on which these errors were already collected, and also clarified information on almost every error on English-language blogs. The result is an impressive table that contains all the errors found that occur when working with iTunes.

On the site in this article I place the table itself, in which there are three columns: error, reason, solution. Below the table, I place PDF file which contains the 4th column - links. For some errors (20 percent) there are quite intelligible Apple instructions in Russian.

Among other things, I give a couple useful links to solve the most common mistakes. Instructions in Russian.

Eliminating errors in updating and restoring device data in iTunes http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275?viewlocale=en_US - this manual explains in general terms what to do if an unknown error occurs. For ordinary users you can start with these actions.

  • Update iTunes
  • Update your operating system
  • Check your security software on your computer (temporarily disable antivirus software)
  • Disconnect all additional devices USB
  • Restart iPad (iPhone, iPod)
  • Try to update or restore again

For many, this should be enough to solve the problem.

Elimination of certain update and recovery errors http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694?viewlocale=ru_RU. The second article covers a wide range of errors. I recommend it for review if you have one of the following errors:

  • Troubleshoot communications (3014, 3194, 3000-3999)
  • Security software configuration (2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006, 9807, 9844)
  • Checking USB connections (13, 14, 1600-1629, 1643-1650, 2000-2009, 4000-4016)
  • Checking hardware for problems (1, 10-47, 1000-1020)

If neither the first nor the second article helped, then you can go to the table (you can start with the table).

Any owner of an Iphone or other Apple mobile device can stumble upon this problem. Here, as in an anecdote about aliens, there is a 50 to 50 chance. Any user can have it at any time, regardless of generation or type of device. It can occur on any Macintosh product. If an error occurs on a mobile device, do not worry, and even more so do a full reset. Even if you save important data beforehand, after this operation you will have to reinstall all third party applications, but this will not solve the problem. So, do we start to breathe more evenly and read on? The error may look like the message "Failed to connect to the App Store", or in the form of a window "Unable to connect to the App Store." Some Icloud suffer from the same disease. ITunes and Imessage.

Why does App Store connection fail?

Usually the problem occurs when trying to download a new application or update an already installed one. There are several possible options for its occurrence, and in most cases the reason lies in a failure on the device itself.

For instance:

  • Date and time settings are incorrect. It is important that the correct time zone is specified.
  • The serial number of the device is hidden. Serial number must be present in the "About device" data. At hidden number serial device, or displaying the OS X version or build number instead, the server will simply deny authentication to the device. After updating the operating system, just such a replacement of numbers can occur.
  • Incorrect network settings. When connected via Wi-Fi, access to some or even all of the resources may be restricted. Perhaps the network administrator changed the settings, or Wi-Fi access is limited to only a few authorized servers or domains. In general, the Internet should be!
  • Invalid or expired certificates for the device. With an expired security certificate, the server will refuse to pass the device. This point applies primarily to desktops. It is treated by deleting crlcache.db and ocspcache.db from the / var / db / crls / folder with certificates and then rebooting the system. There are options for configuring certificates and modifying the Keychain containing passwords and certificates manually, but, firstly, the user may not have enough privileges to modify certificates, and then you will have to reinstall OS X, and secondly, there are simpler solutions. For example - a call to the service Apple support.

What to do if the connection to the App Store fails on a mobile device

The first step is to check if the Internet is available. Maybe the router needs to be restarted, or maybe mobile traffic ended. If the Internet is available, then something is wrong with the settings in the device.

There is a fairly simple way available to anyone Iphone user or iPad. It allows you not to dig into the settings for a long time and solves the problem in most cases. This method consists of two stages:

  • We log out of our Apple ID in the device settings.
  • We go back to your Apple ID.

To be sure, you can reboot the device between these two stages. Everything is ready! No reinstallations, no settings, you can go to the App Store.

Can't connect to the iTunes store

The error message may look very different, but ultimately the situation is the same. For users of mobile devices, the solution is the same - check if the Internet is available, re-enter your ID.

Can't connect to iTunes via Apple TV. Everything is somewhat more complicated here. We check for internet availability, TV updates and date settings. We fix errors manually and get access to iTunes. If you can't log in through a Macbook or a stationary Mac, there are a few things you should pay attention to, in addition to the ones listed above:

  • Make sure your computer is running the latest versions of Safari and iTunes.
  • If a firewall (firewall) is activated on the system, make sure that it allows you to connect to iTunes. This, of course, applies if you are logging into this system for the first time, or if a firewall was recently installed (activated).

If the problem occurs when you try to access iTunes through a PC, then check again if it answers those. iTunes requirements, update your OS to the latest version, do not use the built-in proxy to connect to iTunes.

In addition to this, other problems can arise. The most common is iTunes and software conflict that monitors traffic on the computer. It may appear as "Empty" in iTunes, or it may be accompanied by a message with the number 0x80090318. This means that some software components your PC is using LSP technology. In a sense, this message may even turn out to be good sign... Perhaps the firewall is again to blame, or perhaps Apple just discovered a Trojan horse on your system. In the first case, we solve the issue with firewall permissions, and in the second, we urgently need to clean the system.

Perhaps these are all cases when there may be a problem connecting to the App Store. In most of them, the refusal is accompanied by a more or less informative message, and in the overwhelming majority, regardless of the content of this message, re-entering the Apple ID will solve the problem. The main thing is not to fuss, but to check everything in order if a problem has arisen. Otherwise, rash actions can lead to much worse results. This and other problems are less likely to occur preventive measures... Keep the software on your devices as updated as possible to the latest versions, use a reliable antivirus.

Many owners of such modern devices like an iPod, iPad or iPhone, during the installation of any applications from the App Store, a message pops up stating that it cannot connect to the iTunes Store, which leads to the inability to download, update and install the desired application.

Currently, no one knows exactly what causes this problem. Naturally, if you find this problem for yourself, you immediately start asking questions related to how to connect to iTunes. But still, there are such craftsmen who managed to solve this problem.

The essence of the problem

The starting point is a third-generation iPad, Wi-Fi version with 32GB of internal storage. Connect to the internet using D-Link router DIR-300. No deviations in the work of the tablet itself were noticed. After updating the version and trying to download free applications, the phrase pops up that it is impossible to connect to the iTunes Store. With all this, no one closed access to the store. Apps App Store, that is, you can look at annotations for applications, etc. Any attempts to reboot the tablet, etc. didn't help. The most interesting thing is that even applications that are previously saved there in the Apple iCloud cloud service are not installed. And if you go from your personal computer to the latest version of iTunes, you can make sure that everything is in order. That is, everything is fine on the desktop computer, but the tablet gives an error. And this means that the problem is in the tablet or in its update. It should be noted that the tablet was not jailbreakable.

Let's try to consider two methods for solving this issue.

Settings in the app store

  • First you need to go to the App Store.
  • Find the Featured section, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Apple ID parameter - this is the parameter containing all our login details in the app store. Next, a window will pop up where you need to select Sigh Out.
  • Go to Featured again and re-enter all our App Store credentials. In the event that you have an associated credit card, then you must enter all the data on it.
  • In case the above steps did not help, and you do not care wondering why does not connect to iTunes, then try just restarting your device. To do this, click on the Sleep / Wake button located at the top right of the tablet. After pressing this button, an arrow with the inscription Turn off will appear on the top of the screen. Then just turn off the device by pressing the Sleep / Wake button again.

Changing the time zone

  • You need to go to Settings
  • Then find the General section and go there
  • Next, look for the Date and Time tab
  • Disable the Automatically option here.
  • It is necessary to set the year 2038 in the Time zone section. Here you need to be careful that the set parameters of the year are active. This is determined by the color of the numbers and the date. You also need to change the name of your city to any other.
  • Then we leave everything in this form and go to the application store. Go to the Updates section, where you will probably see an inscription that you cannot connect to the iTunes Store. You can also see the same inscription by going to the Featured section, but now you, most likely, will not even be able to get to the app store.
  • Next, you just need to return all changed settings to their original state.
  • Then just go to the app store again to check if you entered everything correctly.

And now the long-awaited moment comes. Visit the App Store again, but again you will be disappointed, because again the problem is that the iPhone does not connect to iTunes, in fact, as well as the iPad and iPod. But you should not immediately succumb to panic and hysteria, it is better to just wait a little while. In this case, you can continue to work on the tablet, or leave it completely alone.

And after a while, having already forgotten about your torments with installing the application, it is better after a few hours, you can try again. To do this, go to the App Store again and select any free app, you will immediately notice that the system no longer writes - the iPad does not connect to iTunes, but simply asks to enter the password for our account for the app store again. Do not be alarmed, everything is in order. Then you just need to enter your password and calmly download the application you need. Try again and you will succeed again.

It should be noted that it is still not clear what exactly led to a positive result, since there were attempts to establish 2013 and 2014 instead of 2038. Also, cities have changed to different continents more than once. There were attempts to disconnect from the router and even turn off Wi-Fi... But in the end, all the same, the result was obtained. And the window with ominous words cannot connect to the iTunes Store, it did not appear anymore, but that's all required applications have been successfully installed on an iPad. This means that you can achieve the desired results using various methods.

When Apple engineers and programmers take a well-deserved vacation, PR people and marketers drive progress. I didn’t manage to find other excuses for such frequent appearance of various flaws in the work of “fruit” OS. Moreover, the claims are sometimes true for both the desktop and mobile systems... This time we will talk about ways to eliminate those in relation to iTunes and the App Store.

Let someone who has never encountered the annoying "Can't connect to the iTunes Store" alert throw an iPhone at me. This signature tends to appear at any time, being completely unrelated to connection problems. In any case, getting rid of it is much easier than you thought.

Despite the clearly software nature of the problem, we strongly recommend that you make sure that your personal account is topped up, and the Wi-Fi router is working in normal operation... After making sure that everything is in order with the Internet, go to "Settings" - "General" - "Date and time", where set the automatic time setting. V Lately iOS is clearly dependent on owner punctuality.

The relevance of the firmware plays an equally important role in stable work iOS and its services than a quality internet connection or time zones. The gurus from Cupertino are tirelessly repeating this to us, downright imposing the next update, "correcting all (!) Mistakes." Of course, we will not play in believe-I do not believe, but you should still install the latest version of iOS. Follow this in the application "Settings" - "General" - Software update ".

If everything is in order here, the main reason for blocking access to iTunes and the App Store may be an artificial restriction imposed by the operation of the VPN service. Go to "Settings" and, after counting the sixth line from the left with the mark of the same name, move the activation slider to the "off" position. Only valid for devices with LTE module.

However, it happens that the inoperability of iTunes and the App Store is due to objective reasons... This is possible during the preventive work... In order to check the status of the company's servers, just visit special page on the official site. There you will find all the necessary information about the activity or inactivity of the desired service.

P.S. If all of the above doesn't work, an emergency reboot is our all.

Usually AppStore application does not cause problems. With a working and high-speed connection to a cellular network or Wi-Fi, the App Store works like a clock. But still unexpected errors logins and malfunctions are alarming.

Failure to connect to the App Store is as follows:

  • unable to enter the App Store due to an account error Apple records ID;
  • it is possible to enter the App Store, but the selection of applications (the App Store service is usually loaded from this tab) is not displayed - a connection error.
  • Failure to connect to the App Store on iPhone

    There is always a solution! Finding the right approach is important.

    AppleID login failed

    Check if your AppleID is working and is not blocked by Apple. Try to sign in to iCloud from your computer at icloud.com. If the login is successful, check the parameters: if the password for this ID has been changed. Check for iTunes authorization on the computer with the same AppleID.

    Apple device in airplane mode

    Disable airplane mode - it forbids the use of any radio communication by the gadget, except for a GPS receiver.

    Don't turn on airplane mode unnecessarily

    App Store access to the cellular network

    Although the App Store is standard application iOS, it can also be disconnected from cellular traffic. Check if the App Store app has cellular data turned on in the mobile network settings.

    If you turn off this access, there will be no traffic

    Working VPN connection

    Despite the fact that VPN "hides" your traffic from services censors on the Internet, this protocol can "slow down" your tasks due to traffic re-marshalling and constant "bump" loading of VPN servers, especially if the VPN account is free. Disable VPN profiles - VPNs often increase the error rate when working with the App Store by up to 10 times or more, and the App Store speed noticeably slows down.

    VPN often gets in the way, rather than help

    When you download a "heavy" iOS application under 200 MB in size from the App Store, the download may fail several times; without a VPN, such an application would load faster and without interruptions.

    No internet access

  • no subscription to the service (packet communication service is disabled in 3G / 4G networks);
  • the balance on the SIM card number is negative;
  • not connected unlimited internet option or a packet of high-speed traffic.
  • Top up your balance, check the availability of the Internet option. Find out if your subscription fee is overdue.

    All high-speed traffic of the Internet package "burned out"

    Perhaps you have exhausted high-speed traffic on the "package" of your tariff. At speeds of 32 and 64 kbps, entering the App Store can take a long time.

    Please wait. Estimated Time Remaining: 10 minutes

    Insert another SIM, which still has traffic, "extend the speed" on the tariff, or change the tariff, or use open Wi-Fi networks.

    One of the criteria for the App Store may be the loading of the search bar on the search tab for new iOS applications, or at least the number already installed applications iOS that require an update. If it is loaded - that's it, you can enter search query and start using the App Store.

    IPhone Can't See or Pick Up the Cellular Network

  • no 3G / 4G coverage or very weak signal, the distance to the nearest tower is too great;
  • it is impossible to register in the network (roaming, lowering the threshold for disconnecting services);
  • the peculiarity of the tariff (for example, there is no access to 3G or 4G selectively);
  • The SIM card was out of the network for a long time and was disconnected for non-use.
  • Check the coverage of both networks of your cellular operator, service availability, account balance (if roaming), find out if there are any points hidden in the notes of your tariff.

    Network generation not lower than 3G is desirable

    If you have not used the services on the number for a long time, find out if your SIM card is expired (decoupling this SIM chip from the number and tariff). Insert another working SIM-card with a profitable mobile Internet and test the App Store service with it.

    SIM Lock on iPhone or iPad. Network unavailable

    If you are "lucky" with SIM Lock (blocking for all telecom operators - except for the one owned by the cellular company that sold you the iPhone or iPad). There were cases when, for example, "MegaFon" as a distributor Apple gadgets blocked these devices so that people could not use MTS, Beeline and other networks. For example, devices locked under the American operators AT&T or Verizon also got to Russia.

    Contact the SC. Either Apple representatives or specialists from the operator's head office or the express service center where you purchased will help to "unlock" the gadget given iPhone or iPad.

    Cellular data is turned off on the gadget

    Cellular Data - Access to 3G / 4G packet networks on mobile networks. They must be active. If you do not have Wi-Fi internet at hand, the App Store will not work.

    If there is no Wi-Fi, they should be active

    App Store service error

    In spite of huge capacities Apple servers serving a multi-million dollar army iPhone owners and iPad worldwide, the App Store (iTunes Store) server may crash by itself. Perhaps the AppStore developers are testing new, newly developed functionality, scheduled maintenance of the App Store servers, etc. In any case, this is not your fault. Please try to sign in to the App Store later.

    Unable to load page

    No connection to the Internet via Wi-Fi

  • no settings from known routers or Wi-Fi hotspots;
  • Internet does not work on your home or mobile Wi-Fi router (the same problems as on a SIM card when working directly from a cellular connection);
  • Wi-Fi is not enabled on iPhone or iPad.
  • Check if Wi-Fi is turned on on the gadget itself.

    Remember which networks you connected to. Due to the lack of nearby points Wi-Fi access, passwords from which you know, or open (public) hotspots of the iPhone or iPad, there is nowhere to take Internet traffic to enter the App Store.

    Used when SIM data is not available

    Check the availability of home (with the provider) or cellular (on the SIM card) Internet on your Wi-Fi routers.

    If you connect to a hotspot, it is possible that restrictions on the Internet have been introduced by the owner of this hotspot. Look for another open network Wi-Fi.

    It must have the Internet

    Software failure of iOS firmware on the device

    Like any operating system, iOS, despite its reliability and high productivity, can easily malfunction. Causes:

  • iOS beta (if you are a beta tester of Apple products);
  • low-quality "jailbreak" (hack) iOS, from which iPhone firmware or the iPad has become "dull";
  • the failure occurred after falling or hitting the gadget;
  • software version of the modem on "custom" iOS version turned out to be incompatible with the device.
  • Roll back to the latest stable, finished version of iOS - as long as Apple signs it.

    Delete jailbreak iOS if the problems started after it. Restore iPhone or iPad via iTunes or iTools, "flashing" again.

    Rarely, but it happens, when the software - partially or completely - “dulls” after the device is dropped or hit. iOS on Apple iDevices is no exception. Restart your iPhone or iPad.

    The version of the modem (for example, 6.0.0.0 - the latest for iPhone 4s on iOS 9.3.5) caused a conflict with the "custom" build of iOS. A very rare case.

    They must be compatible

    Reflash your gadget "from scratch" - it should be "fresh" official release iOS, not just anything, collected anywhere and anyway. Apple technology- a closed "box" product, painfully reacting to "kulibinism".

    The radio modules on the gadget are damaged

    This can happen from careless handling of the iPhone or iPad: the device fell, hit, "got wet", etc. Contact the iStore service center or similar, where you will be diagnosed with a 3G / 4G module, Wi-Fi module, built-in modem and other nodes responsible specifically for the "telecom" (data transfer) on your iPhone or iPad. Replacing and restoring the soldering of electronic filling is an expensive high-tech job, including the cost of the components themselves; more profitable to invest in a new gadget.

    It's not just the screen that can break

    We wish you not to be left without the App Store - it is a reliable provider of comprehensively tested iOS applications.

    IPhone and iPad users often face a problem in the App Store when they cannot install or update an application. MacDigger offers several simple ways, with which you can restore access to the online store.

    1. Check if the App Store is working

    Perhaps the problem is on Apple's side, and right now no one can go to the App Store. V in this case you need to check the page that indicates the status of all the company's online services. The App Store is in the first place in the list. If the problem is very recent, it may not yet be detected. The page is refreshed every few minutes.

    If the circle in front of the App Store is not highlighted in green, it remains to wait for Apple to fix the problems.

    2. Check your internet connection

    Obviously, the device must be connected to the Internet to access the App Store. To make sure the internet is working, try some other action, for example, open it in your Google browser.

    3. Connect to a different Wi-Fi network

    Even if Wi-Fi is working fine, there may be restrictions in the settings that prevent you from accessing the App Store. For example, work networks can be configured to block certain sites and services to conserve bandwidth. In this case, connecting to another Wi-Fi networks can solve the problem.

    4. Check DNS settings

    Domain Name System (DNS) allows Mac to resolve domain names(e.g. apple.com) to IP addresses (e.g. 17.172.224.47). If the DNS server you are using is down, slow, or faulty, you may experience problems trying to connect to a site or service.

    Perhaps the DNS server is configured incorrectly or is blocking the connection to the App Store on ports 80 and 443. But this method is recommended for more advanced users, otherwise it can only make things worse.

    5. Enable download over 3G or 4G

    This shouldn't interfere with access, but if the device is configured to download apps over Wi-Fi, it won't be able to do so over the cellular network.
    Try connecting to a reliable Wi-Fi network and installing the app. You can also go to “Settings”, section “ cellular”And check that the switch next to the App Store is highlighted in green.

    In addition, in the "iTunes Store and App Store" settings section, there is an item "Cellular data", which you also need to activate.

    6. Out of traffic?

    Cellular data transmission may be restricted due to exceeding the limit. You can contact your provider to clarify when the Internet traffic will be charged.

    7. App is more supported

    The problem might be legacy application which is not supported installed version iOS. In this case, you should try downloading any other application to check it out.

    8. The app is too heavy to download over the cellular network

    Check the size of the app you are trying to install. The thing is, iOS is blocking the download. large applications(over 100 MB) over a cellular connection.

    You can solve the problem using the jailbreak and tweak 3GUnrestrictor, as well as by connecting to Wi-Fi.

    9. Log out and log back into your account.

    Sometimes you can troubleshoot by logging out and logging in to your profile. To do this, go to Settings> iTunes & App Store. Click on your Apple ID and select Sign Out from the menu that appears. Then log back in to your profile using your account settings.

    10. Free up memory

    The problem may also be the lack of memory on the device. This is especially true for older models with a small amount of RAM and built-in memory. To get started, double click on the "Home" button and close all open applications in the multitasking menu. If that doesn't help, restart your gadget.

    11. Update App Store

    You can also force the App Store to refresh by clicking 10 times on the navigation bar (where the Featured, Categories, Top Charts, Search, and Updates sections are located). After that, it will appear White screen and a download message and the app is updated.

    12. Check the date and time settings

    The date and time may be relevant to this issue as the App Store uses them to determine location. Go to Settings> General> Date & Time and select the Automatic option. Thus, the device will automatically set the time and date.

    13. Reset network settings

    Try resetting your network settings. To do this, go to Settings> General> Reset> Reset Network Settings.

    14. Update software

    We can talk about general, but already known issue for certain model devices. In this case, the manufacturer had to release an update to the operating system. Make sure your device has the latest OS version. To do this, go to Settings> General> Software Update.

    15. Contact Apple

    If none of the solutions works, please contact Apple Support and tell them about the issue you are experiencing.

    Can't go to the App Store: we solve the problem

    If the problem persists after updating the system, you should try the following. We go into the settings of the smartphone or tablet and go to the store tab, which we mark with a tick. Now you can try to go to the App Store again.

    It is not uncommon for a problem to also arise when downloading app updates from the store. If this happens, you should go to the tab called "Updates" and wait to see if the system will resume correct work within minutes. If the store does not work at all, the problem can be solved by installing a different firmware. In this case, you should take care of the backup in advance - in order to avoid losing important information... If that doesn't work either, you might want to try resetting your device. Even more radical way- reset network settings.

    By the way, sometimes the problem is solved and more simple method... If a user does not log into the App Store, he should start by logging out of account and re-enter it. Sometimes a simple reboot of the device also helps. If the problem has not been resolved, it is worth contacting technical support or a service center.

    What to do if a user can't sign in to the App Store with Touch ID

    As a rule, users of the 8th version of iOS began to complain about this problem (with the release of one of the system updates), who could no longer use fingerprint scanner for authorization. It is also noteworthy that such a situation occurs among the owners of "apple" gadgets around the world. How do I fix it?

    Go to the device settings and go to the "Touch ID and Password" menu. Now we enter a 4-digit password. We transfer the store slider to the off state, after which we return to the main screen. Now we simultaneously hold down and hold the power on / off buttons and the "Home" button. Enter the password on the lock screen that appears.

    Open the settings and go to the already familiar "Touch ID and Password" menu. Re-enter the password and activate the slider opposite the App Store. Now we enter the identifier password and confirm our actions. If everything was done correctly, the fingerprint scanner can again be used to enter the store.

    Check your settings and network connections to try to fix the problem on iPhone device, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac or PC.

    When you try to open the iTunes Store, iBooks Store, or App Store, you may receive the message “Connection to iTunes Store failed” or. Additionally, downloading content from the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store may not complete or may be interrupted unexpectedly.

    If you have a single issue where iTunes does not recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch connected to a computer using a USB cable, see

    If the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store downloads as expected but you can't sign in, you can.

    Store availability and features may vary by country or region.

    Checking the connection

    Make sure your device is connected to the Internet. Try opening a website in your browser. If the site does not open, try doing the same on another device connected to the same network. If other devices cannot access the Internet, turn off and then turn on your Wi-Fi router to reset it. If you still cannot connect to a Wi-Fi network, contact your Internet service provider for further assistance.

    Checking system status

    On a Mac or PC

    Follow the instructions for your computer.

    On a Mac computer

    By default, the built-in app firewall in macOS automatically allows apps signed by Apple to accept incoming connections. If the firewall settings for the programs have been changed, it may be required. If the problem persists, reset the Accepted Certificate Cache:

    • Click on the desktop to go to the Finder.
    • From the menu at the top of the screen, choose Go> Go To Folder.
    • Enter / var / db / crls / in the input field.
    • Click the Go button.
    • Drag the crlcache.db and ocspcache.db files to the trash can.
    • If prompted, enter the administrator password.
    • Restart your computer, then try connecting to the iTunes Store, iBooks Store, or App Store.

    On Apple TV

    • If you can't connect to the iTunes Store, App Store, or services streaming video, make sure you have an active network connection under Settings> Network. Cm. .

    Other messages when connecting

    The steps in this article can also help you troubleshoot the following error messages.

    Any citizen who owns an expensive flagship from Apple, let it be an iPhone or any gadget can face such a problem - “What to go to official store applications (App Store) will not be possible. " As they say in a joke: to stumble upon such a misfortune - everyone has a chance - 50 to 50 percent. This means that the problem can happen to every user, regardless of the device used, as well as regardless of any social or some other signs.

    If such an error occurs on an Apple mobile device, you do not need to panic, much less do hard reset(deleting all settings and personal data on the mobile phone), because it is enough to solve this problem in a different way. The error on each apple device can be displayed in different ways. However, in ninety percent of cases, users report messages related to this problem, such as “Failed to connect to the App Store,” “Can't connect to the app store,” and so on.

    Why can't I connect to the itunes store?

    Usually this trouble appears after a person wants to install some kind of program update on his smartphone or, in general, download a completely different application (game), and he displays a kind of error, due to problems that could have been repeatedly noticed by himself users.

    Here is a list of examples of problems that are preventing you from connecting to the itunes store:

    • Date and time values were set incorrectly on the smartphone. It may be missing a binding to the correct time zone.
    • The serial number of the Apple device could be hidden, and because of this, the error actually pops up - "I cannot connect to the itunes store". However, to cope with this problem is quite simple enough to first go to the "Settings" section, select the "About device" item and make sure there are the values we need.
    • The third problem, because of which it can pop up information error commonly referred to as "No normal Internet connection." Already many times Apple developers have repeated: - “For the proper functioning of the App Store, high quality internet". Therefore, if there are problems with the Wi-Fi network at home, there is a chance that this error will pop up repeatedly.
    • Expired (invalid) root certificates stored on the device can also become a problem, due to which an informative message appears - itunes could not connect to the itunes store. This case is treated very simply. It is necessary to delete two files from the certificates folder, namely "ocspcache.db", "crlcache.db". Next, you need to reboot the device and try to go to the App Store again.

    The first steps to take if you encounter the "Failed to connect to the App Store" error.

    Before following the suggested recommendations or seeking help from specialists, it is necessary to carefully examine the router (modem) available at home. If your internet connection works as expected, you can try to log into your Apple ID in a new way on your mobile device, then restart your phone and check the functionality of the App Store servers. There are times when the elementary procedure "Log out of the account" and re-enter the required data helped to solve this problem and did not have to spend a lot of time to eliminate the existing problem.

    Conclusion

    Perhaps this covered all the ways to solve the problem of a failed connection to the App Store. If a message appears, then you should not start to worry, it is enough to pull yourself together, try to go to Apple account ID in a new way, restart the mobile phone, try to update the software (operating iOS systems) and see if the problem is solved. At times, excessive human actions can do more harm than good. Don't need to do it right away Hard reset(reset), even if there is a saved copy of personal data and applications, because some problems may also arise with restoring this copy. Better to start small and watch the results.

    Wi-Fi connection never ceases to amaze with new variants of malfunctions. In today's brief excursion, we will consider the problem "". Most likely they encountered it when they tried to connect a friend's laptop to the network or after interrupting the connection with the device. There is nothing wrong with that, you just need to correct the network parameters and it will start.

    Why can't I connect to Wi-Fi?

    Windows could not connect to the network for various reasons, usually the problem is the failure of the Wi-Fi router itself, probably the automatic settings have gone wrong or the problem is in Windows. Most often, the point is in changing the password for the network or changing the type of encryption, perhaps even without your participation. Either way, there is enough effective remedy from this problem, you just need to reconnect to the network, while doing this as a new device.

    Before "going over" the system, you need to try to restart the device, which helps in most cases. Sometimes you have to repeat the procedure two or three times. Then execute:

    1. Click on the icon in the Wi-Fi connection tray (of course, inactive);
    2. Expand the full list of settings by clicking on "Network parameters";

    1. Click again on the link "Manage Wi-Fi network settings";

    1. Select a network with a problematic connection and click on "Forget";

    1. Connect to the network again.

    Most often, the problem disappears at this stage, but only if the reason is superficial and not related to a failure of the router parameters, otherwise the diagnosis should be continued.

    In some cases, a check is launched that detects network requirements, the password window does not even appear, and the check is endless. Will have to fulfill hard reboot devices.

    If it still says "Failed to connect to the network", we continue to eliminate the parameters that have been changed and block the connection using the drivers. So it follows:

    1. Click on Start and RMB on "Computer", then "Properties";
    2. Select "Device Manager";
    3. Expand the list "Network adapters";
    4. RMB on the required item and "Delete";

    This is how a laptop (netbook, etc.) works with a Wi-Fi network, it would seem, and no questions asked. And one day you turn it on - and an error occurs: "Windows could not connect to Wi-Fi ...". What to do?

    This was actually the case with my home laptop. In this article I want to tell you how you can eliminate this error (besides, as practice shows, given error quite common).

    The most common reasons:

    1. Lack of drivers.

    2. The settings of the router are lost (or changed).

    3. Antivirus software and firewalls.

    4. Conflict of programs and drivers.

    And now how to eliminate them.

    Eliminating the error "Windows could not connect to the Wi-Fi network"

    1) Configuring Windows OS (for example, Windows 7, in Windows 8 - the same).

    If you still get an error stating that it is not possible to connect to the network (as in the picture below), click on the " troubleshooting"(I know that many are very skeptical of her (he himself was the same until she helped to restore the network a couple of times)).

    If the diagnostics helped nothing, go to " Network and Sharing Center"(to enter this section, just right-click on the network icon next to the clock).

    Now we just delete our wireless network, to which Windows cannot connect in any way (by the way, you will have your own network name, in my case it is "Autoto").

    We are again trying to connect to the Wi-Fi network that we deleted in the previous step.

    In my Windows case was able to connect to the network, and without unnecessary questions... The reason turned out to be trivial: one "friend" changed the password in the router settings, and in Windows, in the network connection settings, the old password was saved ...

    2) Setting up a Wi-Fi network in the router

    After checking your Windows wireless settings, the second thing to do is check your router settings. In 50% of cases, it is they who are to blame: either they got lost (which could happen, for example, when the electricity was cut off), or someone changed them ...

    Because you could not access the Wi-Fi network from a laptop, then you need to set up a Wi-Fi connection from a computer that is connected to the router using a cable (twisted pair).

    In order not to repeat myself, here is a good article about. If you can't log in, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with this:

    In the router settings we are interested in the "Wireless" section (if in Russian, then the Wi-Fi settings).

    For example, in TP-link routers, this section looks like this:

    Configuring a TP-link router.

    By the way, in some cases it may be necessary to reset the router (router). On its body there is special button for this. Hold it and hold it for 10-15 seconds.

    Task: change the password and try to configure a wireless connection in Windows (see paragraph 1 of this article).

    3) Updating drivers

    The absence of drivers (however, as well as installing drivers that do not match the hardware) can cause much more serious errors and failures. Therefore, after checking the settings of the router and network connection in Windows, you need to check the drivers for the network adapter.

    How to do it?

    4) Configuring startup and disabling antivirus

    Antiviruses and firewalls (with certain settings) can block all network connections, ostensibly to protect you from dangerous threats. Therefore, the easiest option is to simply disable or delete them for the duration of the settings.

    Regarding autoloading: for the duration of the setup, it is also advisable to remove all programs that are automatically loaded with Windows. To do this, press the "Win + R" button combination (valid for Windows 7/8).

    Very often when connecting to a wireless network, users encounter various errors... Probably the most common one is that Windows was unable to connect to the WiFi network. What is this error and how can I fix it? This is what will be discussed.

    But before moving on to the connection problems and solutions, first a few words about how the wireless network works. The fact is that WiFi routers are usually used to create private groups. It is to them that the computer subsequently connects. This means that first of all, if you have any problems with the connection, you need to check the access point (router).

    There are more than enough reasons for the appearance of such an error. It is simply impossible to consider each of them. Therefore, let's take a look at the most common problems with connecting to a WiFi network and their solutions. So, if the computer sees the network, but cannot connect to it, then the following parameters should be checked:

    • Checking the correctness of the introduction.
    • Router settings.
    • Driver check.
    • Wireless settings in Windows.
    • Firewall and antivirus settings.

    There may also be software and driver conflicts, and even a malfunction of the wireless adapter. Let's go in order.

    Checking the network key

    Very often, the reason for the connection error is a mismatch in the password. This means that you simply made a mistake when entering the key. Therefore, first of all, you should check the correctness of writing the code. Try reconnecting to the network, but carefully check the keyboard layout and if Capslock is enabled.

    Configuring the router

    If you are still sure of the correctness of the entered key, then it is worth checking the settings of the router. To do this, connect to it with a cable. Next, open your favorite browser and write down the IP of the router in the address bar. It is indicated on the bottom of the device, as well as in the instructions (if any).

    How to easily find out the IP address of a WiFi router: Video

    Now we need to enter a password and login. Initially, these are admin, admin, respectively. If you have already changed this data, then enter your values. After that, go to the settings menu. Everything is simple here. We are interested in setting up a wireless network (Wi-Fi). Find the Security Settings. Find the network key in the security settings. You can change it if necessary.

    Next, you should check the MAC address filter. It is possible that you, or someone else who has access to the router (not excluded), entered your computer into the filter by MAC address. Because of this, even with the correct password, you will not be able to connect to the WiFi network.

    To check this, you need to go to the "MAC-Filtering" item in the wireless network settings and check if there are any devices there. You do not need to find out the MAC address of your computer, you just need to remove all devices available there from the list.

    It is also recommended to reboot the router, as they may malfunction. This applies to absolutely all models, from the budget ones to the most expensive ones. If you have done all the above steps, and Windows still failed to connect to the WiFi network, then go to the operating system settings.

    Driver check

    Related Articles

    First of all, it is necessary. The fact is that any version of Windows needs hardware software, since a special program is needed for a particular module to work. The operation of the equipment (in our case, the wireless module) also depends on the correctness of its operation.

    So, you can check this in the task manager. You can open this service in any version of Windows through the properties of my computer. Find "My Computer" on the desktop or in the start menu, right-click on it and select "Properties". In the window that appears in the left menu, we find the "Device Manager". Now we need to find a branch called "Network adapters" and open it.

    If there is no such branch, then this indicates that there are no drivers for network cards. In this case, they need to be installed. But if you can turn on the WiFi module, and the computer sees available networks, but cannot connect to them, then the drivers must be installed. The only question is the correctness of their work. So, open the network adapters branch. It must have at least two devices:

    In addition, there may be Bluetooth devices and other network modules... If the adapter wireless is highlighted with an exclamation mark, it means that the drivers are not working properly. There may be other problems as well. You can find out the error by right-clicking on the module and selecting "Properties".

    In the window that appears, in the "General" tab (as a rule, it opens first) you will find the item "Device status". The error and its number will be indicated here (if the device is not working properly). Knowing the error, you can find a way to fix it. As a rule, reinstalling the driver solves all problems.

    Reinstalling the driver is very easy. It is available on the disc that came with the laptop. But even if there is no such disk, you can download them on the official website of the laptop manufacturer. After downloading and installing, check their software operation as above and try to connect to your network.

    Configuring a Wireless Connection in Windows Management Console

    First of all, we need to open the Network and Sharing Center. It is this tool that allows you to manage all network connections, including wireless ones. This can be done in several ways, but we will consider the simplest one.

    Find the network icon in the tray (lower right corner), right-click on it and select the "Network and Sharing Center" item. In the window that appears, we are primarily interested in the "Change adapter parameters" item. Now we are in a service that allows you to manage connections. We find the shortcut "Wireless network". Click on it with the right mouse button and select "Properties".

    In the window that appears, in the "Network" tab, you need to find the Internet protocol version 4 TCPIPv4. Select it and click "Properties". In the menu that appears, check the box “Obtain an IP address automatically”. A little below it is also worth setting the marker to automatic receipt data. Click "OK", close the window and try to connect to the network.

    If Windows still cannot connect to the network, then go back to the control center and select the "Manage wireless networks" item. Find in the list desired network and click "Adapter Properties". Next, we check the TCPIPv4 protocol, as described above. Trying to connect again.

    If the problem persists, enter the "Management wireless networks», Find and delete the required network. Don't worry, Windows will find it anyway. This is necessary to reset all connection parameters.

    System diagnostics

    If you have followed all the above steps, and the system still gives an error and Windows was unable to connect to the WiFi network, then you need to run diagnostics. There are several ways to enable it. It should be noted that in the event of any errors, as a rule, the system itself offers diagnostics. But if, nevertheless, this did not happen, then the most quick way to launch it - it is to right-click on the network icon in the tray and select "Troubleshoot".

    After that, the system will automatically start searching for and eliminating errors. You just have to follow the prompts on the screen. It should be noted that such diagnostics can be performed several times in a row, since Windows does not always find and fix the error the first time.

    We've covered the most common errors that you can fix on your own. However, there are also more serious mistakes that require an individual approach. All records of problems and crashes are contained in the Windows log. If necessary, you can view it and find out the error code associated with the wireless connection. This will help you find a solution faster.

    How to view the Windows event log

    On all operating systems, this log is located in one place. In order to open it you need to find the shortcut "My Computer". It can be on the desktop, in the start menu, or in the file manager. Click on it with the right mouse button and select the "Management" item.

    In the window that appears in the left menu, we find the "Event Viewer". We open it and find the folder " Windows logs". We open it. Now we find the item "System". This is the required log. We open it. When opening, you will need to wait a little, since the system has great amount records that take some time to scan.

    In this log, warnings are marked yellow triangles With exclamation marks inside, and errors are in red circles. Now it just remains to find an error in the list related to the Internet connection or local networks, and open it by double-clicking the left mouse button. In the window that appears, you will see all the information about the error, as well as its code, by which you can find a solution to the problem on the Internet.
