How to find out which video card is installed
First you need to find out which video card is installed. I find the easiest way to do this is in the DirectX diagnostic tools. It displays information about sound and graphics. Go to Start Menu >> Run ( or windows+R) and enter the command dxdiag as in the image below.
In the window that appears, select the screen tab and look at the information about the video card. On the left is the video card itself, and on the right is the driver ( version and date).
There are other alternative ways to find out the characteristics of your computer, but I think this will be enough. If the model is Radeon, then the manufacturer is AMD, and if Geforce, then Nvidia. Next, I will show how, where and what to update.
After installing the driver, you must restart your computer.
How to update Nvidia driver
It is most convenient to do this through a special program. It's called the GeForce Experience.
Download it and install. After running it, go to the "Drivers" tab and click on "Check for Updates" as in the image below.
If updates are not required, then there will be a corresponding inscription like mine.
You can also update them manually if you do not want to install anything extra. Find updates on the official website of the manufacturer. Follow the link and fill out a short form.
Then click download now.
After downloading, proceed with the installation in the same way as with any other program.
How to update the Intel driver
Intel also has its own program. Download it from the official site and then install it.
After starting, click on search.
