The GS 9305 HD kit, in addition to the receiver itself, includes an access card, a remote control with batteries neatly packed in a separate box, and two cables for connecting to a TV: bells and HDMI. And, of course, the "paper part": instructions for the receiver, a warranty card and a Tricolor subscriber's guide. The presence of both analog and digital cable pleasantly surprised! True, the HDMI-wire could have been put longer!

The slot for the Tricolor TV access card in the GS 9305 HD is located under a shutter disguised as the right half of the receiver's front panel. It was disguised, and almost perfect - inexperienced user Without reading the instructions, it’s hardly possible to guess where the lid is and how you can open it. For such an ergonomic solution, General Satellite designers can be given a credit! In addition to the card slot, there are three buttons hiding here: two - switch channels, and one more - switches the receiver's operating mode from "TV" to "Radio" and vice versa. For what - it is not entirely clear: hardly anyone will use them ... perhaps, if only the batteries in the remote control run out?

And so, it's time to turn on the TV and evaluate what Tricolor has prepared for us this time! The GS 9305 receiver has an almost typical first boot menu, consisting of setting local settings,

And now, finally, all the settings are set, all TV channels are found and decoded - now let's try to enjoy watching! The attempt, in principle, can be called successful: although the receiver did not manage to pleasantly impress with something, demonstrating various miracles of engineering and technical thought of the developers, nevertheless, after several days of operation, not a single unfortunate circumstance was revealed that could burden the fate of an ordinary user ... The GS 9305 receiver turned out to be quite smart: to "revive" from the off state, just press the "ON" button, the receiver boots up in just a few seconds, reacts to all keystrokes on the remote control immediately and the first time. Against the background of the predecessor GS 8306, characteristic features which was heightened thoughtfulness and response to commands from the remote control "every other time" - just heaven and earth!

The GS 9305 receiver has returned to the display showing Current state device. When the receiver is loaded, an impromptu rectangle is shown on the display, after switching on - the number of the channel being watched. After turning off the receiver, the screen shows the current time, and the button on the front panel changes color from green to red. The display color is yellow-golden, calm enough and does not interfere with sleep at night, which is important.

The only annoying factor is advertising from Tricolor, constantly shown to unhappy users when switching programs, as if cut from the menu of the most "ancient" DRE / DRS receivers. However, this can no longer be attributed to technical flaws, because the Tricolor went to this indecency quite deliberately.

The time has come to plunge into the world of opportunities that open up to the subscriber by pressing the magic button "Menu"! After pressing this, there comes a pleasant realization that the General Satellite company suddenly woke up and remembered that it was the 21st century long ago: the main menu page is made not only in color, but also with a claim to three-dimensionality! The design of the other settings pages remained unpretentious in black and white, but made, as they say, "tastefully" - GS designers can put a "plus" here too. As for the content of the menu, it turned out to be quite typical for a tricolor receiver. We will not consider in detail each of its points, but dwell only on the most significant and interesting points.

Available again manual search signal allowing buyers to independently tune satellite dish ! In addition, the ability to carry out a network search and view all TV channels broadcast from a satellite in the corresponding beam has returned. True, this is only relevant for open ones: since there are no CI connectors in the receiver, decode closed channels other operators besides Tricolor are not possible. For Eutelsat W4 / W7, this turned out to be useless at all: almost everything earlier open programs(like A-One and Chanson-TV) were finally and irrevocably included in the tricolor package, and nothing interesting with the help network search could not be found.

A significant circumstance can be called the support by the receiver of the DiseqC protocols of versions 1.0 and 1.1, as well as various protocols for interaction with motorized systems. It is these circumstances, in combination with the possibility of network search, that turn the GS 9305 receiver from another tricolor set-top box into a full-fledged satellite receiver that allows you to view channels that are broadcast from various satellites! It is worth noting the presence of a number of applications built into the GS 9305 receiver: on / off timer, games (the only built-in game was Tetris), TV mail, help information about payment methods and cinemas. And if everything is more or less clear with the first three points, then we will dwell on the last two in more detail.

The developers prudently took into account the mentality of the domestic subscriber, for whom reading the instructions in the original is considered bad manners, and constant calls to the installer (who at this moment in the rain, with an antenna in his teeth, hangs upside down from the roof of a high-rise building) with the questions described in this manual is, on the contrary, business ordinary!

The interface of the Cinema Halls is quite friendly, containing a list of films available for viewing, as well as their descriptions with colorful graphic design... True, the list of films turned out to be too small: at the time of testing the receiver there were just over a dozen films. Well, on the other hand, what did you want for 500 rubles a year?

CONCLUSIONS

So, let's summarize everything that was said earlier.
