Instructions for updating the receiver software:
Attention: Do not turn off the power of the receiver while transmitting or receiving data! Connecting the RS-232 cable should be done only when the receiver is turned off (the power cord of the receiver is disconnected from the 220 V socket).
You perform all operations at your own peril and risk.
Software update: (from computer to receiver)
Turn off the receiver's power.
Open the *.dre file in DRE Burner: click "Open File" and specify the location of the file.
Click the "Upload" button.
Turn on the power of the receiver.
Saving software: (from receiver to computer)
Turn off the receiver's power.
Connect the RS-232 cable between the receiver and the PC.
Launch DRE Burner.
Turn on the receiver.
Press the "Menu" button on the receiver's remote control.
Select the "Settings" menu item.
Enter your PIN. The default is "0000".
Select the "Data transfer" menu item.
Click "Download" in DRE Burner.
Enter the name of the file under which you will save the software.
Click Save.
Press the FAV button (blue button) on the receiver's remote control
From February 03, 2016, new software will be launched for receiving equipment models DRE-4000, DRE-5000, DRS-5001, DRS-5003, and DRE-7300 and GS-7300 aimed at improving and improving the operation of this receiving equipment.
Before starting the update, go to the "Status" menu item and make sure that the current version of the receiver software is equal to 3.4.369 . If your receiver has a different software version than the specified one, the correctness of the update is not guaranteed.
After performing the update, the receiver software version should change to 3.4.432 .
ATTENTION! Do not turn off the power of the receiver until the update procedure is completed! Otherwise, the receiver may be damaged!
To update the software of the receiver and the module, do the following:
1. Unplug the receiver's power cord from the outlet, and then plug the receiver back into the mains.
2. Switch the receiver to the Tricolor TV Info Channel.
3. After a few seconds, a message will appear on the screen asking you to update the receiver software in the following way:

15. The fifth line "Polarization" is equal to "Left". We check and do not change.
16. The sixth line "Flow rate" - should be 21500. We make sure that it is, if a different number can be typed in numbers.
17. The seventh line "FEC" is equal to "2/3" or "3/4". Expand the list and select "1/2"
18. After changing the FEC value to 1/2, a signal percentage should appear below, the signal should be more than 70%, preferably 80%, the more the better
19. Go to "Search for channels" and search for channels.

Important! If the hardware software is not updated before the end of the specified period , since March 16, 2013 watching TV channels "Tricolor TV-Siberia" on this equipment will be impossible.

From April 22, 2014, Tricolor TV-Siberia subscribers will start updating the software (software) for DRE-4500, DRS-4500 and DRE-5500 receivers, after which you will be able to watch Tricolor TV channels from a new satellite "Express-AT1".
If the update did not work, or if there were other problems with finding channels, read the addendum at the end of the instructions.
Write down before starting the update. current version software by going to the "Status" item of the main menu of the receiver.
When the update is completed, the receiver software version should change to 2.2.215. The new software will be downloaded from the air.
To update the receiver software, do the following:
1. Unplug the receiver's power cord from the outlet, and then plug the receiver back into the mains.

5. After the reboot, the receiver will turn on in the “Setup Wizard” mode. In a few steps, you will be prompted to select a menu language, set up a video output, search for Tricolor TV-Siberia TV channels and set the time and time zone display.
6. After completing the "Installation Wizard", you can make sure that the receiver software version has changed to 2.2.215. To do this, go to the "Menu", select the "Status" item and check the value in the "Software version" line:
7. If the software version has remained unchanged, you need to turn off and on the receiver on the Tricolor TV Infochannel TV channel and repeat the software update procedure.
8. This completes the receiver software update. The receiver is ready for further work.
If the receiver is not updated for any reason: it does not see the signal on the INFO channel, or it cannot download the update from the satellite, the following steps must be taken:
- Go to MENU - SETUP (code 0000)
- Move down the menu list to FACTORY SET and press OK
- Press the red I button on the remote control and agree by moving to YES and pressing OK
- After rebooting the receiver, refuse auto tuning pressing EXIT on the remote control
- When the message " Empty list"press on the remote control MENU - SETUP - MANUAL SEARCH
- Here set the parameters: FREQUENCY - 12226, POLARIZATION - 27500, FEC - 3/4. 2 scales on the right, below should show a signal
- Go to the bottom menu item ADDITIONAL. Here NETWORK SEARCH should be YES
- Press the EXIT button on the remote control and go to previous paragraph MANUAL SEARCH
- Click START SEARCH and wait for the search to end. There should be 48 channels
Most likely, after searching for channels, the receiver will find a software update on the satellite and ask for permission to update. In this case, you must agree. The receiver will download the update and reboot. After the update process, the channel list will be cleared and you will need to re-search channels according to the above scheme.
