After entering, we automatically go to the "Informers" page (the second item in the upper right navigation bar), which contains links to the most frequently used functions. We can independently switch between all functions using the system of tabs at the top.

Separately, it is worth mentioning the concept of applications. They are presented in a separate section - "Application Store" and allow you to significantly expand the basic functionality of the service. Most of the applications such as Charts, Charts, data import and export tools are free. However, for extensions intended for business reporting (income declarations, invoices, etc.), you will have to pay a little (usually around 200 rubles per function).

FinoBox does not have its own clients for mobile OS, but it has a mobile version of the service available from any mobile browser, so you can access your accounting from any phone (even without an OS) that has access to the Internet.

InEx Finance

The next service I want to introduce you to free home bookkeeping InEx Finance (or simply InEx).

In the design of this service, the stake is made on modern design and newfangled design chips: all kinds of sliders, smooth animation and other beauties are provided to the user. However, the project is not alone. An equally functional filling is hidden under the beautiful cover! With InEx you can:

  • manage and track income / expenses;
  • create several monetary resources (by default there are three of them: cash, card and bank account);
  • create an unlimited number of categories of income and expenses;
  • plan a budget;
  • keep records of loan payments;
  • keep a calendar of events;
  • receive statements and build schedules for the movement of funds.

Unlike the previous service, InEx is "sharpened" for work as home bookkeeping, but quite advanced. So, for example, only this service allows you not only to keep track of your income / expenses / loans, but also to actually manage finances, integrating, if necessary, with your bank (the "Connect bank" button), through its official API.

Before starting to work with the service, it is advisable to go to "Settings" and make the initial configuration of your account. The main parameter that needs to be changed is currency (by default, US dollars). Everything else is at your discretion (there are quite a few settings) :)

You can manage the service using a fairly convenient start page, which contains all the functions in the form of buttons and links (they are also duplicated in the top menu bar). To the right of the block of buttons you will find the "Information" block, which displays quick reports on the parameters you have chosen, as well as a block with the current exchange rates of the National Bank (you can configure the displayed currencies and language yourself by clicking on the "Change" link).

In addition to all this, in the upper right corner there are several additional tools: Balance (opens a window with your current balance) and Calculator (a simple calculator).

InEx also has a mobile version, but in addition to this, the service also has a mobile application for Android OS. Therefore, being the owner of a modern smartphone or tablet, you can keep your accounting on the go, synchronizing it with the main online service!

Home Finance

If you, like me, are more a fan of desktop applications and a more familiar interface of ordinary Windows programs, then as a service for home bookkeeping, you can choose for yourself the Home Finance accounting system.

The features of this service include:

  • keeping records of income and expenses;
  • budget planning;
  • system for achieving financial goals;
  • keeping a calendar;
  • differentiation of access rights to the account for other users;
  • mobile client with the ability to synchronize data via SMS (only for Ukraine).

I want to warn you right away - the service is focused more on the residents of Ukraine, therefore, by default, it has the hryvnia as the main currency. And now, not entirely pleasant news: Home Finance in its free version has some limitations, the main of which is the limitation on the number of logins to the service (no more than 15 days) and the number of operations (no more than 50 per month) ... The problem can be partially solved in account of using mobile clients for Android, but not everyone has smartphones. The price of the service without restrictions is 50 kopecks per day, which is not very much, you must agree :)

The peculiarity and main advantage of this service is that in its design it resembles familiar programs for Windows. In the interface of the main screen, there is both a menu bar and a side menu that reflects sections of income and expenses, as well as a calendar. The main work area in the form of customizable widgets can display any information about the status of your wallets, etc.

The service allows you to keep records on several accounts, while it has a system for differentiating access to these accounts for several users. Also from the additional functions there is the ability to export data to Excel and a built-in calculator.

The function of a virtual piggy bank called "Financial goals" is worth a separate mention. Here we can set the amount of money we need (for example, to buy a new phone) and the period for which you plan to collect this amount. Now you will need to periodically set aside some of the money for the implementation of your plan and add the deferred amount to this section. With each replenishment of such a virtual piggy bank, you will be closer to your goal, which is indicated by an asterisk :).

The service does not have a mobile version, but for Android users there are two clients at once. The first of them implements direct access to the service and work with its account online. The second one allows you to work offline and synchronizes data with your account by sending SMS messages. This, alas, is also not free, but at the same time it is cheaper than 50 kopecks per day using a paid account :)

Econera

If you want to get a classic interface and almost everything the same as in the previous, partially free service, but free of charge, then you can try the Econera service.

In terms of its interface, it is also close to desktop applications and provides quite visual statistics of income and expenses. Among the features of the service are:

  • accounting of income and expenses;
  • support for multiple accounts;
  • creation of an unlimited number of income / expense items;
  • accounting of banking operations and debts;
  • budget planning;
  • analysis of the movement and distribution of funds;
  • support for differentiation of account access rights.

As in programs for Windows, the service interface is divided into a side toolbar and the main workspace, where information of the currently selected section is displayed. On the start page in the main screen, we can see four grid tables displaying exchange rates, created accounts and statistics of income and expenses.

First of all, set up the currency with which you need to work and additional currencies whose rates you want to track. And then - everything is as usual: we add accounts, enter income and expenses.

I would like to note that Econera, despite the lack of mobile versions and clients for mobile OS, bribed me with its simplicity and clarity. I think that with this service everyone will be able to do home bookkeeping, from simple housewives to elderly people. You just need to be able to go online and press the necessary buttons :)

Where is my money?

Do not be alarmed reading the title to this section of the article :) I have not lost my money, this is just the name of the last service that we will get acquainted with in this review.

The concept of this, I would say, microservice can be expressed by the famous phrase: "Time is money!" The project developers decided that wasting time filling in a heap of income and expense items is a waste of time, therefore, they limited all accounting to only entering the money spent per day.

When you log into your account, we get at our disposal a calendar grid, into which we can enter the finances spent per day. The input format is simple: first we write what we bought, and then, separated by a space, the price without specifying the currency (just a number or a decimal fraction, if you need to take into account a penny).

As a result, we get in our grid a number indicating the amount of money spent, and when you hover over a cell with a number, a pop-up window with information about what was bought. All purchases are summed up and displayed as the amount spent per week and per month.

It would be a stretch to call such a financial accounting system a full-fledged one, but, nevertheless, it has the right to exist. Such accounting may appeal to young and very active people who are used to spending a lot of money, but not counting it :) By writing down all the expenses, you will see that you are spending too much and will be able to moderate your ardor in time;)
