With it, you can make a complete copy of the entire system of the tablet, along with the data and applications available in its internal memory - the so-called Nandroid backup, or a snapshot of the system, and then, if necessary, return the tablet or phone to this state.
Backup- creating a backup copy of all partitions in the device's memory. The backup will be saved on the memory card. By default, the name of the backup contains the time and date of its creation. You can rename the backup. The name must consist of Latin letters and numbers and must not contain spaces.

Unofficial Recovery
As mentioned above, the standard Recovery Mode very often has somewhat limited capabilities, so it is best to use third-party, unofficial developments. The most popular are two of them - ClockworkMod recovery (CWM for short) and TeamWin Recovery Project (TWRP for short). Both developments have excellent functionality and allow you to modify or change the firmware very quickly and conveniently, get root rights, reset the settings to factory settings or restore a backup copy.
CWM looks very similar to the standard one, only with a slightly different arrangement of menu items. Navigation through the menu is carried out with the volume buttons, and the choice is made through the power button. There is a version with touch control. Well, TWRP has an unusual tiled interface and is controlled via a touch screen. The menu is navigated by pressing the display, and you need to confirm the action with a swipe. In some Android devices, one of these recovery is installed either by default or with the standard one. Installing and downloading custom recovery may differ depending on the model, so look for information in the sections about your tablet model on specialized forums.
