The tablet was getting pretty convenient means for work, but despite the relatively small size, he still needs a bag, you can't put it in your pocket. In this aspect, the iPhone 6 Plus offers the best of both worlds - it is large enough to make calls and text messages, which cannot be done on Apple tablets.
For the traditional iPhone audience, the appearance of the phablet is not very interesting, they are guided by small diagonals, are accustomed to them, and are rather conservative in their habits. Nevertheless, many can try such a device, consider it as the main one. The reason for this is that this is the iPhone with the maximum cost - that is, the very image component comes into play here.
For enthusiasts iPhone technologies The 6 Plus is a pretty mediocre phone, as it is not equipped with any new technologies. Design, dimensions, controls
The appearance of the iPhone 6 Plus is fully consistent with the younger model, which has become the mainstream. Like any material, metal has its strengths and weaknesses. In particular, the body of this device, if desired and with a certain training of the fingers, can be bent. In a pocket, under an unfortunate coincidence, this device can also be bent. But the likelihood of this is extremely small, the sensational bentgate is a media hysteria, but not the reality that a significant number of iPhone 6 Plus users will face.
Aesthetes are very worried that the camera on the rear panel sticks out, is not made flush with the body. I don’t think this is a noticeable disadvantage, as the phone fits well on any surface. There is also an LED flash that can be used as a flashlight.

The fingerprint sensor inscribed in the center key works well, in my opinion, much better than in Samsung devices, where you have to slide your finger over it, which is less convenient. When your hands are wet, the print may not work, then you will have to use a digital code.
Of the potential problems, I will note the fragility of glass, and that "fragility" is a very relative concept. IPhone broken screens became the main disadvantage, the owners often change them. The reason is that the body is quite smooth and the device sometimes can simply not be held in hands, especially in wet ones. Therefore, I recommend getting a case, although I am sick of the idea that a beautiful device should be hidden behind some fences. It turns out to be some kind of collective farm, and it is especially frustrating when you see ugly external batteries from unknown manufacturers on the iPhone. It looks even worse - cheap plastics, different colors, and the completely warped design of the original phone.

The need for a large diagonal is ripe, and Apple released a 6-ku with a 4.7-inch screen, while a 5.5-inch screen was left for the phablet. One of the key features of Apple and iOS is optimization for a certain screen geometry of both the OS itself and applications - this translates into the need to either stretch applications or optimize them minimally. If there was no problem for 6, then for the phablet it was necessary to make certain compromises.
The last iPhone with a 3: 2 screen geometry was the iPhone 4s, 5 already had a 16: 9 geometry, that is, the developers had already optimized their applications for such displays. But iPhone exit 6 Plus with higher resolution and diagonal made such optimization in vain. At 401 dpi, all the irregularities of the fonts are clearly visible, but compatibility with existing programs remains. If Apple tried to put the screen higher resolution, then this difference would become even more noticeable, almost all applications would have to be reworked.

The number of dots per inch is 401. The screen geometry is 16: 9. Apple says the screen has a contrast ratio of 1,300: 1 and a brightness of up to 500 cd / m2.
The viewing angles of the Plus display are good, the picture looks bright and saturated in any conditions, according to this parameter, almost everyone will be satisfied with the screen. In the sun, the screen remains readable, you can work with it - if you could still have the opportunity to expose the fonts more limit values, then the price would not have been for him.
Automatic screen brightness adjustment works correctly in different conditions, I recommend using it. On the maximum brightness the screen is too bright, out of the box the backlight is set to 70 percent, but it is worth unscrewing it even lower, by about half.
In summary, I can say this - if you do not look back at possible competitors, the screen will satisfy any user. It is good, and the lack of additional settings is not perceived as a serious disadvantage, rather, I would like to have them for fine-tuning the device for yourself, for example, for watching movies. But this is already from the category of wishes.
Battery

At the same time, the case does not get very hot, it gets noticeably warmer, but not as much as it happens on tablets. By the way, for those who like to play, the choice of this phone as a compact device is quite justified. Though iPad Mini it will be much cheaper to buy, and in games it is better due to the diagonal of the screen.
Prior to the 5th generation of the iPhone, one could say that the iPhone had a good battery life, which is higher than the competition. The reason was in the weaker characteristics of the iron, but also in the fact that the screen was noticeably smaller - and it is the screen that affects the battery life more than other components. The difference is due to the fact that Apple always optimizes the OS in order to squeeze the maximum out of the hardware, while not reducing the operating time. With this approach, it is very important that the developers of third-party programs follow all the recommendations and optimize their software. At the moment, iOS8 is rather crude, as a result, in different programs the speed of scrolling the lists, the speed of the keyboard may differ. But these are children's sores, from which they should get rid of in the near future (in any case, for the most common software it will be so).
The amount of built-in memory is 16, 64 or 128 GB. The system occupies 9 GB (55.6 GB out of the box was available in my device out of the 64 GB box). The 16 GB model has 11 GB free, the 128 GB model has 114 GB.
The processor in the phone is 64-bit dual-core (ARM v8), maximum frequency- 1.4 GHz. This is quite enough to ensure smooth operation of the system, fairly fast loading of programs. At normal use you will not notice any problems, the device works well and quickly. There are no disadvantages associated with the implementation of hardware, as such. Rather, all the shortcomings are related to the closed nature of iOS, these are the shortcomings of the platform.
Technologically and ideologically, Apple's first phablet is typical for 2013, but not for the 2014-2015 season. This is just an emotion for the majority, and, as a result, no reasonable arguments need to be given here. Like it, period!
