  • Android app eReader Prestigio: Reader, version: 5.1.1, price: Free

A couple of days ago I was advised to read an interesting book. First of all, the question arose before me: where to find this book? Traveling to libraries and searching in the book market is too tedious, so I had to immediately use all the modern technology at my disposal. I remembered that I have an e-book. But it turned out that the book remained in another city and I will get to it in a month at best, so I had to look for a way out somehow. Printing a book in this situation is also problematic, even given its small size.

I have never been a fan of reading something exciting and voluminous from a tablet screen. Moreover, I cannot imagine reading from a smartphone screen, even if the display is more than 5.5 inches. I'm used to the fact that reading needs a comfortable environment. I sincerely admire those who sit quietly in public transport, buried in an e-book on their phone. Personally, I can't even open Twitter during the trip - it immediately starts to get sick. The only way out is listening to audiobooks, but this process is usually too protracted and time-consuming. Therefore, this is also not my choice. Although, if necessary, everything fades into the background.

Then I remembered about the tablet, but I was not familiar with readers on Android OS. First of all, I went to Helpix, in the "software" section using a search (with the catalog it would be easier, of course) I found several reviews about readers. However, I didn't like all these readers at all. Some have a poor interface and obvious problems with adjusting background shades while reading, others have no synchronization. And I wanted to do exactly that so that in which case the data is synchronized, and I could normally return to reading from the left fragment after a long time. It's just that I somehow came across the fact that when you clear the cache, all information about bookmarks is deleted. Two years ago, while reading Anna Karenina, I lost my bookmarks in some pre-installed reader. With some difficulty I found the necessary fragment, flipping through several dozen sheets.

In general, having gone to Play Google, I found several applications in the top. I liked the design of the interface application "eReader Prestigio: Reader". I don’t know why Prestigio needed to create such an application, but it can be safely called quite good. As it turned out, Prestigio has quite a few applications on Google Play, but all of them are of little interest, since they are tailored for the products of this brand. But eReader Prestigio can be installed by everyone and used on any device.

At the first launch, welcome pictures are displayed in front of us. It immediately becomes clear that the application can find text files on the device, download books from its store, synchronize data between devices. The first step is to be sure to register. I really do not like this approach, since there is no desire to give the mailbox address to everyone in a row. You can log in with your Google, Facebook, Windows account, but this is not the same login. This is registration via social networks, in other words, the application takes information from social networks (you do not need to enter them manually) and offers to confirm the registration by clicking on the appropriate button. For example, if your mail, like mine, is not tied to Facebook, then you will have to enter it anyway when registering. In general, I don't really like all this.

When registering, everything is standard. At the same time, notifications are sent to the mail, which can be easily disabled in the settings. After that, the advertising mailing ceases to bother you. We log into the application. Before us there are bookshelves and a menu on the left, which will now be discussed.

By clicking on the basket icon in the upper corner, we get to the menu, where the inscription flaunts in the center: "There is nothing here ..." - well, okay, I think you, like me, are not very upset. By clicking on the wallet icon, we find ourselves in a menu with cards of different denominations. At the same time, the currency of the cards is in euros, although in the electronic store on the site everything is in rubles (in the attachment the prices are in euros). Want to charge extra money for conversion? For converting from a ruble account to an application's account in euros, and then writing off for the purchase of a book at prices in rubles from an account in euros? Sly, straight double conversion. But all this is not interesting to us. There are only two ways to top up your card. We return to the menu one step back, to the same tab.

By clicking on the name of the profile, we get to the account settings. Nothing interesting here either. By clicking on the "home" button, we get to the main bookshelf. At the same time, the application is made a little illogical, since nothing is displayed on the main page in the "recent" tab. Swipe to the right to display the "my books" section. It stores those books that are directly loaded into the device's memory. As you can see, I have no such. After all, I store everything in cloud services. The third tab is called "store". We'll talk about him later. Below, in the "favorites" section, those works that you considered important to yourself are displayed. At the same time, not only those applications that are loaded into memory and downloaded from the store are displayed here, but also those that are downloaded from the cloud.

Let's move on to the application bookstore. The store is quite interesting. The range of literature is presented in 25 languages. There are different numbers of books in each language. However, all languages are from the European group. For example, there are only 2 books in French, while there are almost 18 thousand books in Russian. If you select a different language, the store menu (but not the application) changes accordingly to the selected language.

All languages are sorted by topic and genre, by author, by price (free and paid). It is noteworthy that I found paid books only in the library in Russian. And there are only 34 paid books. However, they do not represent something incredibly exclusive.

After selecting a book, a pop-up window appears. The format of the downloaded book is displayed. The social media button is displayed at the top. At the same time, if you share information on social networks, then only a link is automatically sent there without any specific description. At least the title of the work was added, or something ... Recommendations are displayed just below. Each book has been supplemented with a brief annotation and factual data, indicating the author and year of publication of the work. I note that the library, in principle, consists of literary works and educational (school-level) materials.

It is especially worth noting that the "search in the browser" button takes us to the web version of the online bookstore. It is noteworthy that there the price is indicated in rubles, which confirms my guess about the repeated conversion when buying books. Yes, and on the territory of Russia all monetary transactions must be made in rubles, if nothing has changed significantly in the currency legislation recently. Basically, if you like to read, then you can easily find something interesting in the library. For example, the genre of "mysticism" is widely represented. I do not know if Edgar Poe is held in high esteem by horror fans, but there are a lot of his works in this genre.

Next, let's move on to the directory. The catalog is sort of a sorting one. Only bad, because not all books are sorted by authors and tags, since the application is not always able to recognize this information. Search is also available here; if you do not like to delete read books, then it will be very useful to you.

The "files" section allows you to scan the device's memory and search for text files. Thus, you can add books to the application and turn it into a full-fledged reader. Scanning is available in the device memory, on a memory card, in a plug-in flash drive, in cloud services OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox. This is very convenient for me, since everything that I need to read I store in a cloud service from Google.

We select Google Drive, all those text files with folders that are stored in your cloud are displayed here. However, the application somehow strangely displays files, because it shows all the information that has not been in my cloud for half a year - I just deleted it a long time ago. Note that automatic syncing of the cloud drive is enabled, and the files themselves are not in the cloud, even if you go to the Google Drive app on the device. But this is not a problem, since new and current files are still displayed. We just select the required file, and it starts downloading immediately, after which it is displayed in the collection.

It is noteworthy that all books downloaded from outside the store are displayed in the "collections" section, and not on the main or on the bookshelf. This was a little confusing to me initially, but then I got used to the fact that in the section "my books" in the collections everything that I need is displayed. Here, in a separate Google Drive tab, all those works that are downloaded from the cloud are shown. By the way, in collections, you can rename or delete each tab. With her, all those books that she keeps disappear. In general, the menu and navigation in the application are a little confusing.

Let's go back to the bookshelf. Books can be deleted, and the shelf itself can be renamed. The view type can be changed at will, you can choose a thumbnail or a list arrangement. Sorting by name (file), by author, by time of addition and by series (section of literature) is available.

Before moving on to reading, let's take a look at the last settings of the application. You can select a folder with books, and change the theme to any of the five suggested options. Synchronization information is also displayed in the settings.

If you wish, you can write a letter to the developers and open the company page on Facebook. But let's move on to the fun part - reading.

If you press in the center, additional control buttons open. If you touch the screen to the right, the book is turned one page forward. Almost the same action occurs if you touch the left side of the display - the previous page will open. It is noteworthy that during swiping, the corresponding animation with the flipping sheet is displayed. If you slide your finger across the display, the animated sheet will follow your finger precisely until you decide to turn the page or remove your finger from the display.

It is incredibly convenient that the page number, current time and battery level are displayed at the bottom. If you touch the screen, a menu with additional buttons will pop up. The sync icon is displayed below. When you click on it, the application remembers the current position in the book so that on another device you can open the work from the same fragment. Automatic synchronization is not provided in order to save battery power, I guess. Just imagine how much battery power will be consumed if the application after each page saves information to its server. Using the slider at the bottom, you can flip through the pages to quickly jump to the middle or end of the piece. The button at the bottom right changes the background color - black or white.

The top slider allows you to adjust the brightness level. Automatic brightness control is available, but it does not work if your device does not have an appropriate sensor. There is a search button at the top, you can search for words or phrases in the text. The search works fine. The "i" button displays a summary of the work. For example, she finds a short annotation for a work by name in the store and offers to download similar works. All bookmarks work great.

The ability to quickly navigate through the contents of the book has not disappeared anywhere. The settings while reading allow you to adjust the readability. Advanced settings allow you to fine-tune the display of text as much as possible. I think many will like it.

The audio sound of books deserves special attention. To be honest, I was very much surprised that the audio sound of the texts made such a noticeable step forward, because the result is practically connected speech (of a robot program, of course). I remember that a couple of years ago I launched a similar sound for a book, but it looked more like a dialect that I did not understand than the actual sound of text files. Both the books downloaded from the store and those downloaded via a USB flash drive are voiced. The function works via the Internet. Books are also read in other languages.

An important feature of the program is that everyone can customize the reading mode that will be convenient only for him. From the wishes, you can add that it would be extremely convenient to turn the pages with the volume buttons when the screen sensor is locked. This will eliminate accidental clicks. But all these are dreams that are realized only in real e-books. I like the application, but it is not without strong flaws. For example, the timing is quite crooked. It is necessary that the book you are reading has already been loaded into the application memory on the other device, if it is not from the store. The application does not synchronize text files, it only saves information about bookmarks and the last opened page in the same (!) Files.

Loads about 70 MB of RAM, and it all depends on the amount of text you are opening. As for the battery consumption, during reading this parameter depends primarily on the brightness level of the display, and then on the application.

This book reader supports the following book formats: PDF, DJVU, EPUB, EPUB3, FB2, FB2.ZIP, MOBI, HTML, DOC, RTF, TXT, as well as MP3, AAC, M4B and Text Aloud (TTS) audio formats. At the same time, if the file contains a video or audio file, then the application will be able to open it using its own standard methods. A program for playing audiobooks is suitable, but I don't see any reason why you should replace the system player of your smartphone with this one for listening to audiobooks.

To be honest, I liked this application much more than everything that I found in the top of Google Play in the corresponding section. Unfortunately, I have not found free e-readers that have a pleasant interface and stable synchronization. This app is not perfect, but it comes close to the phrase "convenient application for reading e-books".

Disadvantages of the application:

  • registration and confusing application menu;
  • strange synchronization system;
  • sometimes an advertisement appears at the bottom of the display (but only on the bookshelf).

    Advantages of the application:

  • a large number of settings and a pleasant interface;
  • a large amount of free literature;
  • connection to cloud services.

Secrets of the program Cool Reader.

Cool Reader is perhaps the most famous and widespread program for reading books on Android devices. With the release of the alternative firmware for Sony PRS-T1 and PRS-T2 e-books and others, the convenience of using this application has been appreciated by millions of e-book owners. The program is simple and convenient, but like any other, it requires some understanding of the capabilities and settings. In this article, we'll take a look at how best to set up and how to use Cool Reader to enjoy the screen-reading experience of an e-book.

If you are the owner of a Sony PRS-T1 or Sony PRS-T2 reader, then we will assume that you already have one of the suitable alternative application packages from boroda, rupor or amutin. We will also assume that the Cool Reader application is already installed. If not already, then you can easily do this by referring to the links at the end of the article.

Let's start by starting the program. "Cool reader" can be launched in several ways: 1. By tapping on the icon on the main screen of an e-book or in the "Books" menu, then choosing an application. 2. By making a long tap in the file manager on the book you are interested in (and then selecting "Cool Reader"). 3. Tap on the "Cool Reader" icon on the third page of the main screen (or tap on the "Cool Reader" icon in the list of Zeam Launcher or AWD Launcher programs). 4. Tap on the upper black strip of the screen ("Bar Shortcuts" will open) and then select the application. In the last two cases, depending on the last state of the program, you can get either to the "Open Book" menu, or to the text of the last book that you read in this program. In this case, to open another file, you will have to press the "Menu" key and select the "Open Book" item.

    For loading.

Cool Reader understands a fairly large number of e-book formats: fb2, fb2.zip, txt, rtf, epub, chm, pdb, prc, mobi, doc, html. The last two formats are supported for simple documents that do not contain complex formatting. In general, it is better to open html files with a browser (for example, Opera Mini), rtf, doc files (as well as docx, xls, xlsx) - with the Office Suite Viewer program. Well, Cool Reader does not support pdf and djvu formats in principle. To view these documents, you will need to install Orion Viewer.

However, let's get back to our program. By pressing the "Menu" key in the book reading mode and selecting "Settings", we will be taken to a page containing five tabs. On each of these tabs, different kinds of application settings are grouped. In each menu, the list extends beyond the bottom of the display and can be scrolled by sliding your finger vertically across the screen. In some versions of "CoolRider" adapted for the Sony PRS-T1 or PRS-T2 e-book (an example of such a version is 3.0.57-8), you can scroll through the lists of settings by pressing the page turning keys. Many settings items open access to additional nested settings (these items are marked with a ">").

    Tab 1.
    Text settings.

    Tab 2.
    Styles / CSS settings.

    Tab 3.
    Page settings.

    Tab 4.
    Control settings.

The first tab concerns the text display settings. Here you will need to choose an easy-to-read font (how to add your fonts to the system will be discussed below), specify its size and line spacing. Most users leave the rest of the settings as shown in the figure. You can try turning on kerning, then the distance between the "overhanging" and "protruding" characters (for example, the distance between the letters "D" "D") will be displayed more accurately in most fonts.

The second tab is devoted to the settings for styles and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). As a rule, you do not need to customize anything here. Check "Allow inline document styles" and, if desired, adjust the font size and line spacing for footnotes: the values in the "default" settings seem too large for many.

The third tab is for setting page parameters. Be sure to check the "Full screen" item, otherwise you will not have a header and footer displayed, and when turning pages, the bottom lines of the previous page may be displayed on the next. Select the view mode - "Pages". Night mode must be disabled (about "Night mode" will be discussed later). In the header and footer settings, you can specify what information and in what form (font, presentation) should be displayed while reading in the top line of the screen when full screen mode is on (clock, battery power, title of a book, chapter, etc.). It is also necessary to adjust the indents of the text from the edges of the screen. If you leave them at zero, then it will be completely impossible to read, since a shadow, even less than a millimeter in size, cast on the screen by the frame, will cover some of the useful information. For Sony PRS-T1 or PRS-T2 readers (in these models, the frame protrudes noticeably above the screen), I recommend setting the left and right margins to 20 pixels, and the top and bottom ones to 10.

The fourth tab refers to the CoolRider control settings. Here, everyone should set the values "for themselves", indicating convenient actions for the buttons (separately for short press, long press and double press) and for on-screen taps (these settings will be discussed below). It is also necessary to define the action at which the dictionary will be opened.

    Adding your own
    fonts

    Setting the paragraph format
    (paragraph) default

    Type selection menu
    set of dictionaries

    Setting up tap zones
    touch screen

Earlier I said that you can add any fonts for reading books to Cool Reader yourself. It’s very simple. Create a fonts folder at the root of the READER drive (from the device's point of view, this is the / mnt / sdcard / folder) or in the READER / .cr3 folder (/mnt/sdcard/.cr3/). Place your favorite ttf (True Type Fonts) fonts there. If you need to use fonts in the otf (Open Type Fonts) format, you must first rename the files, replacing their extension with ttf. Next, restart Cool Reader. In reading mode, press the "Menu" button and select "More" - "Close". Then start Cool Reader again in any convenient way. Go to "Settings", select the 1st tab and tap on the item "Font". The fonts you added will appear in the list of fonts available for use.

I really like the fonts "Myriad" and "Georgia eink", which are specially "sharpened" for displaying text on a low-contrast screen. The first one is "chopped", the second one with "serifs". Examples of images of text on the screen of an e-book, made with the mentioned fonts, are given at the end of the article. There are also links where you can download these fonts.

A few words about "Night mode". It is primarily intended for color emitting screens (TFT). In low ambient light (or even in the dark), the eyes are less tired if the text is displayed in dull letters on a dark background. In the case of using Cool Reader on an e-book with an e-ink screen, it makes no sense to use "Night mode": it is practically impossible to read in this mode during the day or at night.

Many users accidentally turn on "Night mode" and then ask: "My text is displayed in gray letters on a black background, how to get everything back?" To turn off "Night mode", you can go to the third tab of the settings and uncheck the "Night mode" checkbox. This is a tricky one to do, as the settings menu will also appear gray-on-black. There is a more convenient way: press the "Menu" button and sequentially select "More" - "Day mode" (see the image on the right).

The fourth settings tab contains two very important points that I mentioned earlier. This is a touch screen action setting and a button setting. If you go to the touchscreen settings, your device's display will be displayed, divided into nine sensitive zones. Having made a short tap on any of the zones, you will see a menu in which you can select the action called by a short tap on the selected zone. Likewise, by making a long tap, you can define an action for a long tap. There are a huge number of options for these actions. A complete list of actions is shown in the image on the left.

The keyboard is configured in the same way. Go to the "Buttons" item and select the name of the button and the method of pressing - short press, long press or double press. This will open a huge list of options (the same as when setting up a touchscreen, see the image on the left), from which you can choose the one that suits you best.

In general, we have covered all the basic settings. I will not dwell on how to use the Cool Reader for reading. We all know how to read. Use tapas and buttons to perform pre-configured actions. There are two convenient features worth noting. This is the "Bookmarks" menu (in reading mode - the "Menu" - "Bookmarks" button), where you can create an unlimited number of bookmarks for each book and then go through these bookmarks to the desired pages.

The second convenient feature is the "Go" action (the "Menu" button - "Go"). By choosing "Go" in reading mode, you will be able to navigate differently through the open book (go to a specific page, to the content of the book, etc., you can even go to the previous book, which was previously opened in the "CoolRider"). If you select the "Go" item in the file browser mode (you can get into this mode by the "Open file" action), another list will open, allowing you to go to the root of the file system, to the last books that were read in the program and to online directories.

    Cool Reader instructions

What are online directories? This is the ability to directly download e-books from online libraries into Cool Reader. It is quite convenient to use this functionality to search and download books from the popular Flibusta library. The found book is immediately opened for reading. When working with online catalogs, you must first establish an Internet connection via a Wi-Fi network.

In the file browser mode, you can quickly go to the detailed instructions for working with the Cool Reader program. To do this, press the "Menu" button, select "More" and make a tap on the item "User Guide".

I mentioned earlier that Cool Reader allows you to use additional fonts added by the user. The peculiarities of low-contrast screens (these include e-book screens made using e-ink technology) are such that letters made with thin lines look paler than those drawn with thicker lines. Owners of e-books using a standard set of fonts often choose a larger size for ease of reading. However, there are a number of specially designed fonts that are specially drawn with bolder lines. The text displayed with these fonts looks great on e-book screens at a regular, "upsized" size. The images below show examples of the same text in serif and serif type. Both of these fonts are specially adapted for display on a low-contrast screen. The specified fonts can be downloaded from the links at the end of the article.

Cool Reader is completely free and licensed under the GNU General Public License. Application developer - Vadim Lopatin (buggins). If you like this program (and you cannot but like it by definition), then you can support this wonderful project. To find out how to do this, click the "Menu" button, select "More" - "About" and open the third tab. Below in the section ". Be sure to indicate the model name, firmware version, name and version of the application package. Describe what actions led to the incorrect operation of the device.

FBReader is a free e-book reader for Android phones with support for popular EPUB, FB2, OEB formats, as well as simple text documents. the program is very easy to use and practically undemanding to phone resources. Despite its popularity and simplicity, many users often have problems when adding a book to the application library. In this article we will tell you how to do it correctly.

To begin with, the application must be installed on your phone, if you do not have one. You can download FBReader by searching for "FBReader" in the Android Market.

Upon installation, FBReader will create a folder on your SD card called "Books". After that, any text file that you copy to this folder will be automatically added to your library. However, if you previously dropped your books into some other folder on the SD card, then in this case you should not move them from the usual folder. You can simply change the default book storage folder instead of the one created by the application. You can do this by going to Settings-> Directories.

All files in this directory are automatically scanned by the FBReader library service.

Alternatively, you can manually open the book you want to add to the library. To do this, go to Library-> File system section - (path to the book). The book will be opened and added to the library.

Once you've added all the books to the app, you have quite a few options to quickly find the book you want to read. This is especially true for owners of a large library on the phone.

FBReader for Android: Add OPDS Directory "My Library" to Application

Online libraries can also be added to FBReader by OPDS catalogs. This makes it possible to read books and download books directly from an online resource. In order to extract information from such sites, the program accesses their OPDS catalog. To add OPDS directory "My Library" to FBReader on Android, you must do the following:

Now you're done! After that, the OPDS "My Library" directory (or your name) will be added to the list of FBReader network libraries and will be permanently open. From now on, when you want to download a book from the library, you need to go to the "Network Library" in FBReader, and then open your library, which is in the general list of network libraries.

The only drawback of this use at the moment is that you will not be able to search the catalog, you will need to manually search for a book, author or translator.

But in fact, if you know what book you want to find, then manual search will not be that difficult for you.

Note: to access and download books from the catalog, you need to have a stable internet connection. After you have downloaded the book, it remains in the device's memory, after which you can disconnect the Internet connection, especially if you have limited traffic. To read the book in the future, you just have to find it in the file manager on the device, or, more simply, in the "library" section in the FBReader program itself, by clicking on the "library" in the main application window (top right, left of the "Network library ").

Hello dear readers of my blog. Today I got the idea to write about such a native software manufacturer as Adobe. I'll touch on the simplest and nevertheless necessary Adobe Reader application. When purchasing any software product, basically in 90% of cases, all information about it and instructions are in. Why supply the consumer with thick brochures and a bunch of papers, if all this can be accommodated in one pdf file.

Oddly enough, but in the standard Windows 7, and in any other, there is no program for reading this type of files. And today we will correct this situation. Adobe Reader is completely free and stable in its work. And given that the developers of the pdf format and the programs for reading it are one and the same company, we should not even have a shadow of a doubt about the quality of reading. You can download the program from the official website http://get.adobe.com/ru/reader. To install, do the following.

We go into the folder with the saved program, launch it and agree to the confirmation question. This installation method requires a connected and configured Internet. The program will connect to the server and download all the necessary files. Upon completion, you will be transferred to the company's website and informed about the successful installation of the program.

Let's talk a little about the program in action. For example, I'll take any pdf file, 60% of my books are in this format. If you didn't have any pdf reader before, then double-clicking will open the file in adobe resder, but maybe you already have a third-party product installed, then you need to right-click on the file to bring up the sub-menu To open with where we choose Adobe Reader and run the file. The navigation panel is located on the left side of the program window. Among other possibilities, you can view bookmarks, page thumbnails. When you click on these icons, a small window will open along the main window with the document. In which bookmarks or page thumbnails will be displayed. Now let's turn our attention to the top navigation menu in the open document. I will go into detail on the description of each icon in this line. some are active only when text is selected, and some are directly document-specific.

Often we need to convert a pdf document into a file readable, for example, in the word program or some other text editor. This button will help you do this, but not by the functionality of the program itself, but through a service on the Internet.

Something similar to the first, but here another text or image is added to the already existing pdf file. All this also happens online and with a paid subscription. Both the first and second feature are available in a more advanced adobe product, Acrobat.

Here we can add any text to an already existing document. This is a kind of overlay on an existing document. Can serve as a call to attention to some detail or picture in your document. You can also use this button to make a signature in your dock.

After all the changes that you, if desired, made to your document, you must, of course, save it. This is what this tab is for. If you like to use keyboard shortcuts, then the shortcut "Ctrl + S" is for you - the action is similar to that button.

You can print your document on a printer at any time, if you have one, of course. Conversely, if desired, you can use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + P". I advise you to memorize and use abbreviations. This really saves time and you do not need to search for program features often hidden in links.

Sometimes you have to send a file by mail. for this we no longer need to leave the program, search for a file and send. It is enough to click on this icon and we will be redirected to the mail client, with which we will send this file.

Here is the window in which the page navigation is displayed. The total number of pages and an indication of which page you are on. With the help of the arrows, we turn the pages. In the field of the active page, you can enter any page and press Enter. You will be redirected to it immediately.

Here we can specify the size of our document in percentage of scale. In this case, you can set it manually, as well as control the minus or plus sign.

The first shortcut is to fit the page to the width of the program window. In this case, you will be able to navigate and scroll line by line. The second - makes it possible to place a page from a document completely in the program window. This leads to a smaller font size and loss of readability. In this case, navigation will occur page by page!

So the first icon with three letters of the English alphabet checks the spelling in the comments and form fields. That is, she does not check the document itself. Scissors- this is an analogue of the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + X", that is, cut. Works with selected areas in a document. Immediately after the scissors is the insert icon, and this is equal to the shortcut "Ctrl + V". The camera icon allows you to take a snapshot (screenshot) of the area that you indicate in the document after clicking this button. The image will be saved to the clipboard and you will then need to paste it into any image processing program and save. Note that even if you take a snapshot of the text, it will be translated into an image! The last one there is a magnifying glass. This is a search through our document. Click and in the window that appears, enter the desired word or phrase.
